I smiled, "Thank you. Their amazing. But their also Jace's so don't give me all the credit." I said sitting down next to him, with both the twins in my lap.

"Yea cause I'm sure he had a heck of a time with you in bed." I snicker.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
I look over at Kelly and shake my head., laughing, trying to conpose Logan. I look over at Jace and see that somethings going on with him. I nuge him with my elbow, "Hey. You alright?"

I nodded, "You need some rest." Logan jumped out of my arms and tackled Riley to the floor. I sighef and and tried to stop them from fighting I grabbed Logan trying to hold him back. "Stop!" I yelled and they all stopped and looked at me. I nodded, "If you guys do that one more time then your not getting any ice cream tonight, you understand?" They nodded and I took a deep breath. "Good."

Jace smiles at the way Rayah handles things, but argues about his need of rest when she sits back down. "I'm fine." He says. "I'm just thinking. This place brings back a lot of memories."

"Just wait until they turn nine..." I said shaking a head at them. Riley smiles a baby toothed smile at Jace and turns to me pulling my hair. "What do you want?" I asked Smiling.

Jace watches, something - a distant memory, one he'd forgotten - coming back to him. In Riley's place stands him, the three year old version, and in Logan's place sits Nic. But it fades before he can make sense of it, the faces of his kids returning and his reality regaining clarity.

I look over at Jace and smile, holding his hand. "You'll get over it. Don't worry. I lost three sisters. Just don't think about it. Get your mind off it by something else." I shrugged. "It works."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Jace smiles, giving Rayah's hand a squeeze, but inside he knows he couldn't do that. His brother wasn't meant to be forgotten, to be pushed aside and left on the shelf. He died for them. Once again, Jace is reminded of the full circle, ironic this time. His life ended the same way it began. In a shroud of light, fighting a hero's fight.
Spoiler
Lol. sorry about Jace's sudden depression (though I love the last sentence in this) I'm reading a sad book for school and it has inspired this grief and ironic death.

Jace toughens up and wipes the tear from Rayah's eye. "He doesn't want this." He whispers to her. "He would want to be remembered, not mourned. I-I shouldn't have brought him up..."
