The Moosehead Tavern [2]

I snap out of it and close my eyes to sleep, and when I realized I was dozing off, I snapped my eyes open.

"This kind of makes me wish I payed some attention on how to cast sleep spells back in school.." I said rolling my eyes.

Joseph sighs and stands, walking over to Rayah. He pinches one of her shoulders and she falls limp, unconscious. Jace looks up at him confused.
"She's just sleeping." Joey says. "Don't worry."

I all of a sudden fall asleep. I wake up about thirty minutes later and start freaking out. "W-hat happened?!?!" I scream and hold onto Jace.

Jace hushes her, holding her close. "You're fine. It's alright. You just went to sleep."

"You knocked out thats what, your mind will get to the point where you'll have sudden black outs. You'll have to sleep sooner or later." I said petting Reaper who was now on my lap.

I shook my head, "I-I don't want to sleep," I said studdering my voice cracking.

Jace leans her against him and strokes her hair, hoping she'll relax enough to fall asleep again

He leans me against him and starts touching my hair, I close my eyes again, maybe I will get some sleep. I pressed my face against his chest and dozed off.

I woke up after full sleep. I leaned off of Jace and yawned, looking around. Everyone was asleep, including Jace.

Kalen senses someone up and opens his eyes, slipping off a chair and waddling to Rayah again.

I smiled as Kalen walked over to me. "You need to sleep." I said looking down at him. He gave me that smile and I shake my head, "You look tired."

Kalen smiles and climbs onto a chair, then the table, sitting in the middle of everyone's drinks. He sets three fingers on the side of his face and draw them across to his lips, signing his response.
No tired.

I sigh, "Fine."

I look over at Jace and he's sleeping. In his sleep he reaches for me and brings me close. I giggle.

Funny buddy, Kalen signs as he silently giggles.
