He flashes a smile when they fall asleep, squeezing Rayah's hand. He kisses her forehead goodnight before closing his own eyes.

I wake a couple hours later, fluttering my eyes open and kissing Jace's cheek goodmorning.

He stirs, waking just as Rayah kisses his cheek. He flashes a smile and yawns, looking at her.

I flash a smile. "T-Today's the wedding..." I sighed, squeezing his hand.

He smiles and kisses her forehead. "I know. You excited?"

I shrug, "A little nervous." I said, butterflies in my stomach as I speak.

He sets a hand on the side of her face. "If we're going to do this the right way, I'm technically not supposed to see you today."

"Then...Go." I smiled. "Get ready. It's going to take me ALL DAY to get ready anyway." I say, sighing.

He smiles and kisses her. "I'll be next door if you need me. Nic's dropping by with my suit. Did you invite Gem and Andrew and all them? They should be here, shouldn't they?"

I swallow and face-palm myself. "I-I think Katie took care of that. If not then Jesse did." I said, hopefully. I stand and put my hands in my pockets, taking a deep breath.

He nods and stands, kissing her quick before disappearing into the next room.

I watch him leave when like five of my sisters burst through the door and start doing my hair.

"What the hell are you doing?" I ask pushing them away.

They all Start speaking at once and I sit down on the couch, letting them do what they do.

Jace opens the door and finds Nic standing there with the suit laid out on the couch. The older brother stands and flashes a smile, staying where he is.
"Hey." He says.
"Hey." Jace says back.
He walks to him and they man-hug, making up.
"I'm sorry." Nic whispers. "I-I just didn't want you ruining your life."
"It's my life to ruin." Jace replies.

Katie goes to tell me to put on my dress and I stand, slipping it on. She looks at me and sighs. "You need to wear your hair down. Curl it. Put some makeup on. High heels." She studies me.

I swallow, "H-High heels? Can't I just go barefoot?"

She rolls her eyes. "C'mere." She leads me to the bathroom and sits me down by the mirror. She straightens my hair and then curls it, leaving perefect ringlets. She makes my cheeks Rose red and does my makeup. When it's all finished I look at myself, shocked.

"Holy shit..." I mumble feeling my cheeks.

Jace changes into the suit and has Nic help him with the tie.
"I'm not expecting to be your best man." He says. "You did figure out who that's gonna be, right?"
Jace swallows, swearing in his mind.
"Uh, yeah, Andrew." He bluffs, making a note to ask Andrew later.
