He smiles. "Nah, it's all good, Jaz. it makes one feel good inside."

"But that's what my mommy and daddy do." She says, looking at both of us.

He looks at Jasmine and smiles. "Then your mommy and daddy are really close, Jaz."

She looks at us still puzzled. "Their married..."She whispers, smiling.

He smiles. "I know."

She sees the ring on my finger and picks up my hand, examining it. "Pretty!" She giggles. "Can I have it?"

I shake my head, "Nope. It's mine." I laugh.

She frowns, "Where did you get it?"

Jace bites his lip, smiling, and looks at Rayah for her to answer.

"Jay got it for me." I say, taking my hand back.

"Why?" She asks.

"Ask him." I say looking at Jace.

Jace glares at her, smiling, but it doesn't last. He glances at Jaz and sighs.
"I got it because I love her." He says. "It's to show everyone that I do."

"But your friends?" She asks, still really confused.

He smiles. "Friends can love each other."

I look at him. "Should we tell her?" I ask in a whisper.

He half-shrugs.
"If you want." He mouths.

I nod and look at Jaz. "See, Jaz." I started. "When people love eachother things happen. Once that happens they want to stay together forever, stay by eachothers side. So...They get married..." I swallowed. "That's what's happening with me and Jay."

She swallows and looks at me with her large blue eyes. I wait for her reaction, feeling as if I am going to regret it.

A smile formes across her face and she giggles. "AWWW!"

He smiles and watches her.
