I shrug, "Just help me get her under control."

She runs away again and I sigh, Standing. "COME HERE!" I yell. She cuts me off at a corner and I run into the wall. I put a hand over my face and stand again, giving up.

"Do whatever you want." I mumbled, sliding down the wall.

He stands and walks over to the little girl, crouching before her. "Hey, I'm Jace. What's your name?"

She giggles, clutching her bear. "Jasmine." She replies in her small, innocent voice.

He flashes a smile. "You wanna play something, Jasmine? I'll play with you if you want. We can be friends."

She looks at him, slightly puzzled. "Why you here?" She asks, holding her teddy bear tighter.

He sits cross-legged and sighs. "I'm with Rayah. Me and her are really really really close friends."

She smiles and I stand. I sit against the bed, crossed legged as well. "What do you want to do?" I ask.

She takes my gun from the counter and my eyes widen. "Jaz, put it down." I said slowly, walking towards her. She shoots one at me and I drop to the ground just in time so it wouldn't hit me. I swallow and stand again. "Jaz, That's dangerous."

Jace holds his hands out. "Can I see it, Jaz? I want to try."

She shakes her head and looks at me. "Rayah give him gun so he can try."

My eyes are set on the gun, not responding. I make a quick move and take it, but it shoots my hand. "DAMMIT!" I scream, throwing the gun on the bed and clutching my hand, laughing in pain.

He stands and hurries to Rayah, taking her hand and looking at it.

I shake my hand out, "What the hell Jaz?" I ask, laughing.

She giggles and I rip off a piece of my shirt, tying it around my palm.

I sigh and pick her up with my good hand and set her down on the couch. "That hurt." I whisper to her.

She frowns. "It was funny."

I shake my head, "Not for me." I said, sitting next to her.

Jace shakes his head at them, plopping on the couch and drawing a blanket around him.

Jasmine cuddles up on Jace and I watch her, smiling. I go on the other side of him and do the same, chuckling.

Jaz looks at me. "I thought you were only close friends.." She says. I shrug, "Close friends do this. I think." I smile.

Jace nods, flashing a smile. "Yeah, really really really close friends do this."

She eyes me. "That's weird." She says, crinkling her nose.
