Seth!

I was listening intently to people as they gave their own introduction, one of the other guys read a note. There would be a movie screening in three hours. Directors and actors attending.

Intriguing; if there are a lot of directors and actors, it would give me a good chance to set up a name-name relationship with some good future employers.

"Well I guess that means I should put on a better shirt..." I said to no one in particular, I walked into my room and changed into a fancy shirt and black pants. I grabbed my fedora, not wanting to do my hair up at all.

I walked out and one of the girls I had met earlier, Bella, I think that was her name, said something to me.

"Looking snazzy there Seth,"

"Much obliged." I said in my best Western cowboy accent. I tipped my hat.

I was amazed. I mean I have no acting skills, what so ever. Oh well. I ran back to the apartment and changed into my fanciest clothes. I did up my bright red tresses and did my makeup, accentuating my deep green eyes. I twirled in the mirror. This strange girl that I didn’t know looked back.
I was confident that I could make it in this town. I walked out into the main room to grab my purse. A guy was still standing there. He whistled and I shot him a dirty look. I checked the address one last time and then left the apartment.
I hailed a taxi and recited the address to the tall burly man inside. He took off towards the studio. We arrived fifteen minutes early. I thanked him and gave him a large tip. He smiled a crooked smile and waved goodbye as he drove away. I walked up to the security guard standing by the massive doorway.
“Hi. I’m one of the people from the Ferris Apartment. Do you know where I’m supposed to go?” He gasped.
“Yes miss! I’m honored to be standing in your presence.” He fluttered, as if almost at a loss for words. “I am to escort you to your destination.” He held out his arm and I looped my arm around his and we began to stroll towards a room. I was so excited. I could hardly wait!

I stepped into the bustling room and gasped. An amazing array of camera’s, colored lights, sets, and costumes lay out before me. The room was glowing with excitement. I saw several others from the Ferris Apartment. I turned to the man who had escorted me to this room. “Thank-you, kind sir.” He nodded and abruptly turned out of the room and marched towards the door.
I stepped towards the others and was almost knocked over by a quick walking lady in high heels. I almost laughed because she was stumbling aimlessly along, due to the fact that she had a taped up ankle. I wondered aloud about it then took another step towards my “Friends”.

Sunny

This, I must say, was my most successful impromptu outfit ever. I had speed-shopped at Nordstrom, and come away with a flowing light green gown that went perfectly with my eyes. Then I had run down the street to Sephora and gotten one of those sample makeovers the ladies at the counter give you. The lady had seemed rather preoccupied at first, but when I told her what was going on, she really went at it, and it came out rather nicely.

After my makeup was finished, I grabbed a taxi and arrived at the studio half an hour early. The guy at the door let me inside the lobby, but not any farther--he didn't recognize me, after all. That was my plan, though. I went to the bathroom, changed into my dress, and pinned my golden hair up into a braided knot sort of thing. Then, after touching up my lipstick a bit, I slipped on the sandals I had bought and walked back into the lobby. The guy recognized me this time and offered to lead me back to where we'd be meeting the directors, but since I still had ten minutes to kill, I decided to wait for the others.

Bella

Everyone went out to change and I decided to. I changed into a short blue dress that looked like this-

I kept my hair down in ringlets and added some blonde highlights. I looked beautiful. I couldn't believe it. I grabbed a cab and arrived at the studio. The guard reconized who I was and let me in, watching me. I shot him a look and he looked away. I saw Sunny and flashed a smile, standing next to her. "You look good."

Sunny

After just a few minutes, Bella arrived in a cab. She had left her hair down, and she was wearing a cute blue dress and heels so tall that if I had tried to wear them, I would have tripped and killed myself. "You look good," she said, smiling at me.

"You, too," I returned. That shade of blue went really well with her hair. "Do you know what the others are wearing?"

"Nope," Bella replied. "We all kind of went our separate ways."

Seth -

I sat in the living room waiting for the minutes to pass. I see all the other candidates running around doing their hair and changing their clothes. Bella walked by in a short blue dress. Another guy wore a grey and blue pinstripe suit and tie.

Eeew, that's gross

I looked down at myself, quite satisfied that I was able to pick out a nice shirt with a jacket and some black pants.

Mom would be so proud

A time rang,

"The Limo is here!" I heard one of the others yell.

The lady with the wrapped up heel kept on stepping back and forth. It looked like she was running the whole thing. She hobbled over to me. “Ok. Let’s get started. The first order of business is to find out who is here and who is late.” She stared down at her clipboard and began to tap here neon blue pen against it. “Is Merlene Romiro here?”
“Yes.” I politely and shyly answered.

Oh... hmmm... I'll have to change that. I'm at school right now, but I'll fix it when I get home...

Sunny

The woman in the clicking high heels glanced around at us, running a fake nail down her guest list. "First order of business," she said. "To find out who's here and who's late." She started tapping her pen against her clipboard. "Is Merlene Romiro here?"

"Yes," Merlene answered quietly.

"Good," the woman muttered. "Sunny Joule?"

"Hiya," I replied, giving her a little wave.

"Lovely," the woman said. "Bella Knight?" Bella waved a hand.

"Perfect," the woman said, looking up at us again. "Now, where are the others?"

I sighed and replied to her answer. “They are late of course. You can’t expect too much from that group.” The woman gave a small knowing smile.
“Perhaps we shall have to just wait for them. How does some coffee or tea sound, hmm?”
“That would be great, thanks.” We all began to walk behind the woman, single file. She led us to a small room on the left. Inside was a small table with enough refreshments for an army! We gaped at the mountains of food laying right in front of our eyes.
“I had planned a tea for all of the people from the Ferris Apartment, but I guess they’ll join us when they get here.” I was surprised. This woman seemed so easygoing now, when just a few minutes ago, she was whipping an entire room filled with bustling people into shape. I wished that I could do that. I could sense that we were all a little tense.
“Thank you so much for all of this.”I said politely while reaching for some tea.
“Yes, thank you.” Replied Sunny.
“It is truly an honor to have tea with you.”Bella noted, while grabbing a chocolate chip cookie.
“Thank you for your compliments, but flattery won’t get you everywhere.” The lady gave another knowing smile. I gulped; it seemed like this lady could see right through us.
