Ever-
I'm about to step through the portal into the modern world to hunt down Nabaat when she appears not ten feet from me. I back off, letting the older, more experienced knights encircles her. She challenges James and they're about to attack eachother when the Dark Knight is distracted by something. She turns her head, as if she hears a buzzing in her ear, swears, and vanishes.
"What are you rookies standing around for?" the Master Knight shouts, "find her! Capture her!" I turn back towards the portal, but something urges me to turn around. Following this odd instinct, I walk up to the other White Pearl Rookie.
"Hey, umm, want to search together? We'll have a better chance of taking Nabaat down if we aren't alone," I say.

Sam

The other White Pearl knight comes up to Carrie, who Sam is standing next to still, after Nabaat disappears again. The Master Knight shouts for everyone to get a move on and Sam looks around for someone to follow, about to as Carrie if he can tag along with her - not able to find his fellow Emerald - when the boy does.

"Hey, umm, want to search together? We'll have a better chance of taking Nabaat down if we aren't alone," he asks her.

"C-can I come to?" Sam asks, rubbing the back of his neck anxiously. "I-I mean if it's alright..."

"Sure, the more the merrier," I say to Sam. I don't know him that well, but he seems like he's a strong fighter, "that is, if you want to team up," I add, glancing back at Carrie.

Terrance | Leaving the training grounds

My heart felt like a hand was gripping it, squeezing tightly. I ran out of the arena under an archway. The fear of the woman was growing in me, but I was still perplexed as to why. My feet pounded the cold ground in the shadows of the tunnel. The ground turned hot. I squinted up, noticing the bright sun above me as I came out of the tunnel.

Whoah! The ground was speeding toward me. "Ooof," I said as I made impact. For a moment, I was unable to breathe. While I gasped for air, I instantaniously took stock of my body. My ankle had twisted painfully on the rock I fell over, but I should be able to walk as soon as I could stand. There were scratches on my hands and arms where I had caught myself, and small pebbles stuck into them. As I tried to push myself up on my stinging hands, I felt a cool shadow fall over me.

Angelus Pacis | Training Grounds

I went to Terrance. "This is no time to fool around, rookie. The Dark Knight's out and about and you're playing hide-and-seek. Get with the others or the Dark Knight's going to pick you off first. Get up and get moving."

Terrance | Training grounds

I stood up quickly. "Yes, sir. Sorry, sir," I said, looking at the ground more carefully this time as I scurried off. Limping slightly, I walked up to a group of other rookies, including my brother. "So, what's the plan, guys?" Nobody seemed to know. "Well, I'd say we should start our search in the modern world. It can't be too hard to find someone named Nabaat Graveborn in the phone book or something."

Angelus Pacis | The Castle

I took my cloak off and cut a portal through the air to enter the modern world. I sighed as I found myself in a muggy jungle. After weaving through the jungle vines, I found an old haunt I used to visit during my old Knighthood days. Modern people call it an Aztec temple, but Emerald Knights- current or former- know it as the Temple of Earth. I went inside and meditated on the throne within the temple. I could feel myself change from the inside. I was undergoing a long-overdue metamorphosis, one that could've given me the title of Master Knight without Nabaat's help.
The Emerald whispered, "It's been years since we've been with each other. Although a Master Knight, you are still an Emerald rookie yourself. It's time you go through the Transformation that you should've done years ago."
I remained still as I changed from the inside out. After an undetermined amount of time, I left the Temple of Earth with dignity. I was still wanting to take Nabaat as my bride, but for now I had to give the rookies a chance to undergo the same change as I had. I returned to the Realm of Knights and put my cloak back on. My honor belongs to Nabaat, but until the day I confess my love for her, my loyalty is to the rookies.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.

Nabaat Graveborn

That ringing was terrible not only was I forced to flee but I knew what the ringing was about. It was the call of my former Knighthood demanding that I must return to it, the call coming from the Temple of Water. I was about to cut a hole for a portal when one opened on it's own and who steps though than none other than Angelus. We walked between each other as the Portal closed. I cut one open and just before I stepped though I spoke to Angelus.

"Angelus, if you want the rookies to find me. I shall await there arrival at the Temple of Water, don't try direct transportation there, you'll be met with static." I said stepping though.

The temple of Water was just off the chost of Chicago Illionis in lake michagan. It was nightfall in the modern world, I stood on the peir as the Temple rose out of the lake. Who knows what I might find inside.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!

Sam

Before truly setting off on their way to track down the rogue knight, they are told to head off to their designated temples to undergo a transformation of sorts. Sam jumps through an already open portal and ends up at the Temple of Earth. He kneels before the throne, unsure as of the correct procedure, and takes a deep breath, eyeing everything around him. His mind wanders as he does. He shakes his head to clear it and closes his eyes, attempting to focus.

Angelus Pacis | Temple of Earth/ Amazonian Jungle

I knew Sam would be here, but it was like he wasn't sure of himself. I stayed in the darkness around the throne. "Try meditating on the throne itself. During meditation, clear your mind and let the Emerald's power flow through you. Just think of the Transformation as a stage where a caterpillar becomes a butterfly."

Sam | Temple of Earth/ Amazonian Jungle

"Try meditating on the throne itself. During meditation, clear your mind and let the Emerald's power flow through you. Just think of the Transformation as a stage where a caterpillar becomes a butterfly." The voice of the Master Knight booms.

Sam breaks from the meditation and glances around, not expecting to have direct instructions from the man in charge. He takes in the information and hesitantly moves up to the throne. He closes his eyes and refocuses. Another voice whispers in his ear and he feels something begin to shift inside him.

Terrance | Temple of Fire

One of the elder knights instructed us all to head to our own element's temple, and spend some time meditating. I opened a portal to Washington State, where the Temple of Fire was hidden. It lay underground in the crater at the top of Mount St. Helens.

I ducked under a rock leaning against the crater wall, and into a dark entry chamber. I took a torch from the wall and lit it in with the fire from a niche in the wall. I walked down the passage, the orange glow from the torch lighting up carved writing along the walls.

I came out in the main chamber, which was a circular stone room almost fifty feet across. There an altar in the middle, on which a flame constantly flickered. I stood in front of the altar, with my hands grasping the rim. I stared into the orange glow, letting my thoughts go completely blank.

I was transported in my mind to an unfamiliar, dark place. "Hello," said a voice, the same voice that had told me to be scared of Nabaat. It came from no direction in particular, it came from far away and from inside of myself at the same time.

"Are you the diamond?" I asked. "Because every time I try to talk to you, I don't hear anything, and when I hear something, I'm not trying."

The voice laughed. "Yes. Your abilities are still developing, so you have not been able to contact me directly. But after today, it should be much easier." The diamond's voice faded away to a breath of wind.

Back in reality, I shivered, feeling a breeze on my skin. That was weird, for inside a cave. The flame on the altar flickered, indicating I wasn't imagining it. Something inside of me felt like it was changing.

Spoiler
I hope this is ok!

Goldie|Temple of Wood

I had arrived at the temple of wood in Africa. Three days earlier, Jake and I were saying our goodbyes at the airport. I reached the car that would take me halfway there. I reached the drop off point within the hour. It took me 3 days after that. Now, tired and weary, I waltz right up the stairs and march straight into the temple.
"Hello, youngster." A voice echoed through my head as I walked in.
"WHAT THE HELL!" I thought.
"I am the Topaz. And You are about to undergo the changing." It replied.
At that moment I sat down, closed my eyes and felt a strange tingling sensation spread throughout my body.

Carrie-

Carrie was about to search for Nabaat when Ever came up," Hey, um, want to search together? We'll have a better chance to catch her if we're not alone."

"Um..."she started. "C-Can I come with you? I-I mean, if its alright..." Sam nervously rubbed his neck.

" Sure, the more the merrier, that is, i you want to team up." Ever glanced at her. Before she could answer, they were ordered to their Temples. "Come with?" Carrie asked Ever

"Yeah," I said in answer to Carrie's question, "let's get going." We step through a portal into the city of Chicago, Illinois. Those portals were still a bit disorienting for me, but Carrie seemed to know the way to the Temple. Even though we didn't get hopelessly lost in the crowded streets of Chicago, we still didn't make it there until after nightfall.
