Blake - fire teacher

I quirked up an eyebrow, but refrained from bombarding them with questions. Instead, I muttered, 'teenagers...' and began handing out a few pieces of paper.

"I hope you guys brought a binder or at least something to write with," I said.

Each student got three sheets; a questionaire, today's soon to be homework assignment and a plain, 100% recycled white sheet. Of course the first thing they see is the homework

"Seriously?" Blazed said, waving the homework sheet in the air, "On the first day too?"

"If you actually read it, you'd see that its more actions and practice, not essays or questions."

"But we do have questions to do..." Adora objected, eyeing the questionnaire.

I flashed her a smile and leaned back on my desk, "Well, its one of those things that we have to have, you know, to really 'get to know our students' and whatnot."

Blaze snorted and glared disbelievingly at the page, "What is my favourite food? What, are you going to buy us lunch from now on?"

I narrowed my eyes at him and said calmly, "Hey I didn't make it, okay? Its been circling around the school for years now. Well, anyways, moving on to our next topic."

Noah - water

I sat on my table and lifted my feet onto my chair. Marissa was on the other side of the room, trying her best to deny my existence. Yup, not discreet at all...

"So...." I drawl out, hoping the Kyra would come back soon and break the awkward silence.

"Any pets?" I asked. Man, I suck at small talk.

She snorted and was about to lash out at me with some clever remark I'm sure she has when Kyra storms back into the room, suddenly a lot happier.

"Just had to take care of some urchins," she said brightly.

If I remeber correctly, the 'urchins' were a boy and a girl. Wonder who they are.

"So, lets get back to work."

Kyra

"So, let's get back to work." I turn back to the bowl of water on the desk.

I dip my hand back in, and pull it out. "Dry." I say, "Now I want you two to do the same thing. Just when you dip your hand in, tell the water to stay off of it. I know it sounds funny, but it works."

"Wait, we have to dip our hands... in there?" Marissa questions.

"Uh... Yeah... that's the whole point of this exercise." I say.

"I'm not sticking my hand in there if he's going to be sticking his hand in there!" Marissa almost shouts.

Roberta Hemlin- Strength Teacher

Sibba and Christopher walked in moodily. "Alright. Glad to have you back. Seeing as the mental step didn't work out very well, you two are going to start the physical step." Roberta smiled.

They didn't say anything, so she continued, "Follow me. I'm going to show you our training grounds."

(Psst, ikiru - Marissa isn't that childish to yell that. She's mature and all, she just doesn't trust Noah. Why? Because he's seems like one of those handsome-jerky guys that break your heart, and she's already experienced one of those. Not pleasant.)

Marissa - ;

I clamped my mouth shut and looked out the window, instantly embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound childish."

Noah looked at the ground, trying not to show his hurt. "You can go first if you'd like." He said quietly.

Kyra looked at us with a frown. "Someone, please. Just stick your hand in. It's not dangerous."

Noah sighed quietly and reached out to put his hand in, just as I was. Our hands touched. Surprisingly enough, he was the one that jerked away. I tried not to show my hurt, which was down-right selfish of me. I was the one that flat out treated him like shit, not the other way around. "Go on ahead." He murmured to me.

I nodded solemnly and stuck my hand in, wincing as I did. Strangely, the water felt.. good. Like home. I sighed quietly and ordered my hand to stay dry. Which it did. Miraculously. "Amazing." I said.

"It is." Noah said softly, giving me a hesitant smile. After a second, I returned it. Just slightly. Still, it was a start.

Sorry Ignorance...

Kyra

"Great job guys!" I congratulate them on their second step of learning to control water. Then I open one of the desk drawers and pull out a folder.

"This is for all of your homework and in class papers we do. The homework for tonight is already in there, along with a questionnaire."

"Okay." Marissa says as both students take it.

"The homework is mostly things you have to do to get better at controlling water. The questionnaire is so I can get to know you a little bit better."

A bell rings.

"Okay, class is over. I'll see you tomorrow! Don't be late!" I look at Noah for the last part.

Sorry I haven't posted on her in a while!

Fear

I press the button and a bell signaling classes are over rings throughout the school.

Then I walk over to the microphone and press the voice changer button.

I'm still going through the questions in the handout thing when the intercom comes on for us to go back to our dorms. I head to the dorm rooms, not sure how they'll sort us into the dorms. All the guys gather in the ground level of the dorm rooms, waiting to be cowed into our dorm rooms.

Lia Blake - fire teacher

Before I knew it, the students were ordered back into their dorms. I guess the first day of school, boarding school, needs some extra time to get settling into.

"Don't forget your homework!" I called out to the retreating figures.

I'd be more than surprised if they actually still brought the sheets tomorrow, much less finish it. Such high standards I set for my students...

I packed everything I brought with me back into my bag and with a stack up papers filling up my arms, I headed to my room as well. I squinted at the faint 18 I scribbled onto my hand earlier and went hunting for room 18.

Following the neat little banners at the top of each hallway pointing out directions to wherever, I finally found myself opening the knob to room 18. It was a small, but cosy place; one sandy, wooden desk with a matching chair, two towering empty bookshelves, a cramped walk-in closet, nice, clean and pristine washroom with a bathtub AND shower, a few lamps, a 30 inch flatscreen and two beds...TWO?

I burrowed my brows and headed back to the door, about to ask the clerk if teachers got 2 beds each when I found myself staring into the eyes of the blue haired witch.

"Kyra?"

She grinned ear to ear and cooed, "Hello, roommate"

And thus was the end of the world.

Noah Hastings - water

I nodded absentmindedly at Kyra and headed out of the door, right after Marissa. I tried to catch up to her and make sure that I wasn't still stepping on her toes, but the swarms of people milling out of the classrooms slowly swept her away. Oh well...I tried.

I followed the bundle of males and streamed into another building, painted stereotypical blue and had large black letter stamped on the front entrance. MALE DORMITORY. I sighed and followed everyone else into a large area, most likely the 'lobby' of the the dormitory.

I looked at someone near me and said, "So now what?"

Cami said "I'm pretty experienced. I'm most experienced with making torandos. Stuff like that."
"well Alen it looks like you have some catching up to do but first let me see your talent first you too Cami" said Michael. I think we should go outside to test you both so follow me."
....................
Outside

I looked around at the big field and there was three trees at the far end of the field."Alen will yo go to the middle of the field for me and think of the windiest place you can and do it until I say stop" asked Michael.
I closed my eyes and thought about being on a open plane with a tornado coming closer and i start to feel different in some way. My body feels like it is vibrating and I feel really light like I'm floating then I hear Michael scream "STOP!!!!" i open my eyes and look at him. "So how did I do?" I asked there was some shock on his face.

Cami

I swallow watching what he could do. God I wanna do that. Micheal pushes me out of my daze. "Cami. Your turn. See what you can do."

I nod nervously and take a step back. I close my eyes and clench my fists, feeling leaves, wind and dirt hitting me. When I unclenched them it all stopped. I clenched them as hard as I could and I felt like I was being lifted into the air. I was. I un-clenched and dropped to the ground, opening my eyes, smiling.
