A warning comes on over the alarms that late students will be punished.
"Well, I think it's about time for lunch break," I say, "unless you actually have something planned for us today?"

"well unless you want some more scorch marks to compliment the ones you already have, I suggest you stay" I said breezily to Blaze. "And besides, you can keep Adora company."

I clasped my hands together, ignoring the eye roll from Blaze and marched back to my desk. I pulled out a few plastic cups, candles and a bag of salt.

"Let's start then," I said, handing a cup to each of the students, "your first task is to fill the cups halfway at the tap over there,"

Fear

"What is your name?" I ask.

"N- Noah."

"Noah What?"

"Noah... Hastings... Ma'am."

"Don't call me that. Now, you need to leave. But, you can't tell anyone about meeting me. Do you understand?"

Noah doesn't say anything.

"I said, do you undertand?"

Air - student
"Wow Cami how did you do that mini tornado trick I want to do that it's so cool" Alen said .
"What you are here but do you even know why you are here?" Cami asked well looking confused.
"Well no I only got a note to come here because it said it would help me with my dreams" said Alen

I nodded, "Yeah because we can control air." I said forming the mini tornado again. He looks at me. I sigh. "Fine. Swirl your two fingers around in the air and it will form."

Blaze fills the cup up, like Ms. Blake tells him to.
"Now what?" he asks, bored.

Adora

I fill up the cup like instructed, wondering why we are dealing with water in what is supposed to be a fire class. Blaze asks Blake what we do next and I look up at her for the answer.

I walk over to the sink and fill up a bowl with water. Then I set it on a table.

"Marissa, come here."

I cup my hand and scoop up some water.

So this is all no longer a dream? :O

Noah Hastings

The first thing I thought when I say her was, 'her eyes.' The were such a bright shade of blue yet filled with so much depth that I felt like I was falling (or drowning) in to those whirlpool eyes.

"I said, do you undertand?"

I straightened up again and nodded, turning for the door. Then, I suddenly stopped.

"Oh, hey, I didn't catch your name," I said lightly, turning back to her.

For some strange reason, I wanted to stay a little longer.

I hope its okay that I double posted. I won't do it again (if ikiru says its not allowed) though I feared procrastination would get the better of me later on.

Carnelian Blake - fire teacher

I smiled at the pupils and stolled over to my desk again, leaning back into my chair and grabbing out a dog-eared book. This should take some time.

"Boil the water," I said simply, "Heat it up."

Adora and Blaze stared at me, waiting for the 'just kidding' moment when they finally realized I wasn't kidding.

"What the hell?" Blaze said, "Who do you think we are?"

I expected that much.

"I know you both feel the energy; you two are just so use to it that you guys don't even realize its nestling inside of you. I want to see how much you can accomplish without any guidance."

They stared back incredulously.

"Hint, most of that energy is stored in your core."

I smiled to myself, pleased with the cryptic 'core' hint. If these two really had the potential, they'd find it in no time.

Yeah it is not a dream now. It's fine if you double post!

Fear

"My name?" I ask, surprised.

"Yeah."

"F.... Fear...."

"Really?" He wasn't convinced.

"Yes. Just Fear. Now leave."

"Fine, but you are going to regret it!"

I glanced at Adora and shrugged. I was beginning to question our teacher's sanity. Still, I stared at the cup, concentrating, looking for some built up energy inside me. I give a loud burp. Adora elbows me in the ribs, but I see her smirking. I go back to staring at my cup, wondering how stupid I look. I glance towards Adora and am glad I'm not the only one who looks stupid. She's staring at that glass, studying it like it holds the secret to life itself. She brushes some of her auburn hair out of her eyes.
I look back towards my glass of water, concentrating back on my core. I picture flames dancing across the surface, burning harsh and blue in its angry dance. I don't realize the water's boiling until some of it steams over onto my hands.I swear, expecting it to hurt but it doesn't. Ms. Blake looks up, surprised, and smiles. Adora glances over at me, annoyed I got mine to boil first. Soon, her's is boiling as well.
"Now what?" I ask, setting the glass down. My hand is tingling. It's not a bad feeling, but it's just weird. Adora looks a bit freaked out too.

No need, CPM, it's perfect :)

Adora

Of course he would boil his first. But he spills some on his hand and jumps up, getting exactly what I hoped for. I surpress a laugh and smile, glaring at him instead. The cup in my hands boils like his, but doesn't overflow, my desire to not be like him keeping it at a tolerable level.

"Now what?" Blaze asks Blake.

I look up, something feeling wrong inside of me, and wait for the answer as I set the cup back on the desk. It stops boiling immediately.

Blake

Her blood dripped onto the pavement, red liquid oozing out through her already scarlet stained fingers. Eyes wide and wet, she raised her gaze to meet the-

"Now what?"

I whipped my head up, the alluring story waiting inside my book's pages momentarily forgotten. Though I had high expectations of them, this was still surprising. Blaze had his spilling over the cup, messy and spontaneous, but a nice fiery power nonetheless. Adora even managed good control of her water, keeping it bubbling just below the rim.

"If you were all a bit younger, I'd give you all gold stars by now," I said softly.

I reached over to the bag of salt and walked over to the two awaiting teens. I poured half the bag into Blaze's cup and the remaining half into Adora's.

"Close your eyes and try again."

I think they think it's my life goal to make their life miserable. Should have got some donuts to soften them up first.

The slated cup takes even less time for the water to start boiling and bubbling. I try to keep it from spilling this time, but it still slops all over the desk. Adora gets her's in to neatly boil at practically the same time.
