Name: Kamkam. (k-AH-m k-AH-m) Just Kam for short.

Gender: Boy

Age: 17

Description: I’m bony and tall. My hair is dark brown, and it’s a bit shaggy. My eyes are almond shaped and dark, and I have pale skin. I’m beginning to grow a beard. I don’t like being out in the open very much, and tend to stay in the shadows socially. I always wear clothes that are too big for me, because I don’t like to be confined, or touched.

Personality: I’m a nervous person, and even though I can usually remain calm and in control in pressing situations, I’m prone to panic attacks. I flinch easily, and hate it when people sneak up on me, though with my enhanced senses that doesn’t happen often. I have severe phobias of enclosed spaces and syringes from the testing. If my senses become overloaded, I will turn into a violent monster.

Power: I can become semi-invisible for short periods of time by manipulating light and shadows. I draw my power to do this from plants and other living creatures around me.

Weakness/Strengths: I’m basically a walking skeleton. I’m like this because the scientists forced me to ingest drugs that heightened my senses to that of an animal, but also increased my metabolism. If I don’t eat something at least every four hours I pass out, and that and my fragile mental state is the reason why the scientists cast me away. I’m very nimble with my fingers, and flexible. I can also see better, hear better, and smell better than any normal human, and I’m very light on my feet. This means that I can track and ambush Saviors with ease.

Short Bio: I was born in what was North Korea before the world’s countries began to disintegrate. My family lived on the side of a highway, along with hundreds of other starving people, until I turned 10. One day recruiters passed through, promising money and food to whoever would give up their children for testing. My parents were desperate. The years I spent with the scientists were the most painful and scarring of my life, and now I only seek revenge.

Weapon: I'm deadly with any kind of knife.

Other: I like to make things out shrapnel

Okay, I think we're ready to start! I can't post right now, but if someone else would like to make the first post, that's totally cool.

Ava
I was trying to just think about cleaning the air. Breathe in and out. How hard could it really be? Not to hard, but you get a little light headed if you try to hard. Everyone was out side. Burns, Nelia and Skye. Most were talking about her family the mutants which was understandable. It was still a touchy subject.

I could feel Arianna watching me. I can feel her watching all the Saviors. She is my twin. She knows what I feel from miles away. She can not mess with my mind though. She is to weak. My brother is their leader. I wish I could hate him. I wish I could hate all of them. They are my family, so it is hard. '' How are you holding up?'' Burns asked me.
"I will be fine. I am not in to much pain any more." I said.
" You know I did not mean that. Your family." he said.
" I am ready for it to be over. The world can not be peaceful with them alive. It is just hard. I mean they are my family." I said.
" You mean they were your family. They turned evil. How can you even call them family?" Skye said.
" Ok listen Oliv...." I was about to say, but Burns cut me off.
" We are not starting this again. We can not hate each other. We are all each other has right now." he said. He was right. We need each other. Yes Skye and I do not get along but I need her to bring peace.

hungergameslover: I apologize if my application was confusing, but Kam is a mutant, not a savior.

Kam

It was midday and the sun was shinging through the smog, casting uneven, dim shadows onto the barren ground. I was crouching in the shade of an overturned barrel, balancing on the balls of my feet and trying not to make a sound. The tension emitting from Arianna was tangible in the air and I didn't want anything to do with it. The dark haired girl was prowling the makeshift camp like a caged animal, her bright green eyes flashing out at Slavo at regular intervals, who was reclining calmly on a boulder. "I can feel her. She's weak," Arianna's voice cut through the silence like a knife. "This is my chance Slavo! I can kill her now."
"I already told you no," Slavo adjusted his shades and tilted his head back to lean against the rock. "Didn't you say all of the Saviors were gathered around her? We'd be at the disadvantage, Arianna. It's too risky, we're not strong enough."
The girl's tense form froze. Her hands clenched into fists and her hair seemed to be rising from her shoulders.
"Don't you dare insult me you worthless piece of trash. I am more powerful than you and that stupid kid hiding behind garbage will ever be."
I had hid my face behind the edge of the rusty barrel but I could hear the laughter in her voice, "I know how you will die."

I sit there on the rock about to kill them all. " She know is to worried about us. She is a poor girl that is weak. I can take them now. Unless you and Kam are a little affraid to get your butt kicked my a the weak link. What is it going to be Salvo?"
" I told you no and I stand by that. You should be able to tell what I am going to say. You can read minds and I am not changing mine." he said.
" I do not really care what you say. I know how you will die and it will not be right now. If we go now and win. You won't die. Once they get strong, they can not be stopped. I am sure that you do not want to be killed by the weakest link."
" Ava? Your twin?'' he asked
" Yes that is the one. Poor Salvo. Getting killed by the weak link. I mean it was art how you got killed. I wish you could see it. Oh the pain you are in. It is kinda hard to see. Oh if you would only listen." I said Laughing. Salvo gives me that look. Salvo raises his hand and controls me. He brings me to the ground. The pain. The pain rushes all over my body. " Stop. Stop." I yell.
'' We are not going and that is that." he yells
" Not my problem if you die." I say

Slavo

"Not my problem if you die" she hisses.
I chuckle. The poor deluded girl- there was a reason why I was the leader here: experience.
"You should know full well that foreseeing the future is a complex art" I chide "There are many possible outcomes, and I intend not to die, thank you very much"
I release my hold on her, and she gasps for air.
"And, though we will not attack them now, we will attack them at one point" I promise. "For now, I shall make sure their safety is a costly one. Give me your hand"
She looks at me in confusion.
"Give me your hand" I break through her defenses, and she obeys, mutely.
"Now, focus on our though flow. Combine it. Feel the power"
Her eyes widen, and she shivers in something approaching ecstasy.
The sky darkened suddenly, and thunder boomed as I mustered all our strength. Breathing fast, I release the energy, sending it screaming to where the Saviors were.
"Their sleep shall be tormented by nightmares. Their waking moments will be riddled with anxiety, their nerves jittery" I murmur. "Have fun"
Then we both collapse, exhausted.

I knew Burns was right, we shouldn't be after each other, but I couldn't help to not like Ava. With a sigh, I began to pace, letting my hand rest on the gun at my hip. My eyes searched through the trees around us, my body on high alert. Something wasn't right, we weren't safe here. All of my instincts screamed that someone was near--something.

I felt anxious, ready for a fight. We hadn't had any trouble in a while, no danger had jumped out at us in some time. I was made to fight, made to take down anything that got in our way or made itself a danger to any of the other Saviors. It was my job to fight the mutants or anything that might turn into a problem.

That was what I had to focus on--fighting mutants and not my own kind. We had all been made to make this planet better, to turn it back into what it used to be, even though some of us--like myself--hadn't been made to do that directly. So even though Ava was a pain in the butt, she was helping out the planet, which was more than I could say.

I stifled a sigh of frustration and forced myself to focus on the task at hand. It didn't matter that I only had a small part in saving the planet, I was doing something more than that. I was protecting to people who would save the planet. I was important. I had known from the beginning what my job was going to be, I didn't have a choice, this was what I was going to be doing for a long time. And I liked being able to be strong, to be able to fight when the others couldn't.

As if someone had flipped the freaky-switch on, the hairs on the back of my neck rose. It felt like we were being watched.

"Something doesn't feel right," I told them, glancing around through the trees. "Something is out there watching us."

" I can feel someone watching us." Skye said.
" I think you are just worried. I mean there are people out there that want us dead. All of us are worried." I said.
" I am not worried ok. Arianna is watching. I can feel it." she said.
" What ever you say. It is getting late. I think we should get some rest." I said. Everyone nodded and laid down. A few people stayed up to keep watch and it was my turn to sleep. I laid down to rest. I fell in to a deep sleep. The mutants were there . They were killing us. Arianna made my death very painful.
My breahting increases rapidly. " Help me. Please. Please. Help." Burns shakes me.
" Ava it is ok. it was just a bad dream." he says.
" No no. It was more than that." I said. I am shaking . My body is cold and wet with tears.
Skye come running over. " What happened to you?''
" It was just a bad dream." Burns told her.
" Bad dreams don't make you look like that. Believe me I have had plenty of them." she said sitting on the ground. " What happened?"
" Arianna, Salvo and Kam. They tortured me and...." Skye cut me off.
" Don't go back to sleep. I do not think this is just another bad dream. Look you will be fine." she said

" You can stop thinking you selfish thoughts. You must be kidding when you say more experince. You should have learned by now that you can not keep anything from me. You try to power up you ego with worthless thoughts. I advise you to not think anymore." I yell at him

" Arianna. Find something better to do than go through my brain. You sould try to get stronger. Right now Ava is stronger than you and you are calling her the weak link." his words slice through the air. " How is Ava doing with her bad dream?"

" I am going to avoid you brainless comment you made so you will look like you won this battle. We all know that you need your ego to be strong. But anyway, Ava just woke up screaming and crying. Well they figured out that this was our doing and are not going to sleep. They have not figured out that not sleeping was the plan."

Kam

Wrapped up in a tattered blanket on the cold ground, I listened to Arianna and Slavo making verbal jabs at each other in the darkness. It was depressing how often they fought these days, neither of them gaining the upper hand, as if the presence and strength of the Saviors were pushing them to their limit each and every day. I knew how it felt.
"He isn't responding well to the tests, doctor. The extra adrenale gland we implanted is overworking itself, and if this continues, who knows when his heart will go."
"Yes, yes you're right. It isn't safe enough for army work. We'll have to let him go."
I remember being fifteen years old, laying facedown on the dirt outside of the laboratory, watching all of the other test subjects file back to their rooms behind glass walls. I remember what it felt like, what it was like to be unwanted, worthless. The saviors were the opposite of me, of us, they'd been given everything and they didn't deserve it. This world didn't deserve to be saved!
Silent as a wrath, I stood up, dropped my blanket to the ground, and dissapeared into the night. Slavo and Arianna were still bickering behind me, and I was unsure if Arianna had even bothered to sense my thoughts. No matter now.
It was easy to let the shadows become part of me, and their black touch was clingy and cold. Comforting. I knew where the saviors were. Now all I had to do was get to them.

Salvo and I have been going at it for at least three hours. " Well you are a worthless, unwanted and ..... ahhhh." My head is trobing. I am brought to my knees. " Where is he? Kam." I look over to see he has gone. " We need to go now." Salvo shakes his head. " You really want him to die or for him to kill even one of them? Don't let your hate towards me cloud what little judgement you have." he give me a look. Then he begins to run(it the wrong direction). " Salvo you might want to go the right way." he looks at me and of course I laugh in his face and we follow he foot steps into the woods.

Ava
Burns, Skye and I sit around the fire. Sleep is fighting us. My eyes are getting heavy and slowly they close. " Wake up." Skye shakes my knee.

" Ava you can not go to sleep. You have to stay awake." Burns says. Burns is sitting next to me and Skye is sitting across from the fire pit.

" I am sorry. I can not stay awake." When out of no where water splashes me on the face. Skye threw a cup of water at my face. " Thanks." I say nodding.

" No problem." she said smirking. A twig snaps in the in the woods away from us. " Did you hear that?" she sais on her feet.

" Yes. I did." Burns said.

" Me to." We were all on our feet. What was that?
