The Saviors (accepting!)

Humanity has almost destroyed the planet, through war and pollution. Some animals and plants have mutated into dangerous species that seem to have one purpose: devouring humans. They roam outside the walls of compounds that the last of our race now reside inside.

The governments of the world have begun to construct the "Space Arcs" (or just Arcs) to take certain people to a newly terriformed Mars. It is not intended to be a permanent move, for the top geneticists of the world have created an ingenious way to clean up the planet.

Getting desperate, scientists created a type of superhuman, known as Saviors. These humans have been engineered to have certain powers that are designed to remake the planet. Some can negate pollutive chemicals. Some can reverse the terrible mutations of the flora and fauna.

However, the Saviors were not warned that there is another force running rampant on Earth: the scientists' failed experiments. These mutants are as intelligent as any human, perhaps more so, and they're angry. Carelessly tossed out of the compounds, they've adapted to the pollution, and are organizing an army to make sure the Saviors fail. And they will do so, even if it kills them.

Humans are leaving. The Saviors are left to their task, with only limited resources and basic radios to communicate with Earth officials. Silently, the mutants watch and wait for their moment to rise. The world will die if the Saviors do not succeed.


Here are all of the Savior powers. There are four:

1) You can eliminate noxious pollutants, making them into oxygen or nitrogen. Basically, as you breath, you are cleaning the air. You do not need a gas mask.

2) You can reverse the mutations of plants and animals. When you are within a ten-foot radius of any mutations, they begin to reverse back to their normal selves. You need a gas mask to breathe in the atmosphere.

3) You can purify water. This power is somewhat like the first in that you eliminate pollution. However, you need to touch the water to clean it. You require a gas mask to breath.

4) You have super strength. You are not for remaking the planet; you are designed to protect the other Saviors from outside forces. You can breathe for limited times without a mask.

For mutant characters, you can make your own power (keep it within reason--No completely unconquerable characters). Let's try to keep the Savior/mutant ratio even.

Name: Ithycus Burns (Or just Burns)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Description: Ithycus is tall and pale, with long black hair. He usually wears loose black clothing that's easy to move in. He's got a kind of pointy face, but there's always a smile there, or laughter. He is blind.

Personality: He's easy going, loves his friends, and is also fiercely protective. He is good at fighting, but does not like to harm anything, even enemies, and he can wield his power efficiently. He wholeheartedly enjoys his task of cleaning up Earth, and he never gets tired of it. He doesn't really have any love of the scientists who created him: it was painful, like torture. He knows what has to be done, though, and does it.

Power: Ithycus can reverse the mutations of plants and animals.

Short Bio: His parents gave his embryo to the scientists for the project, and, after he grew up and went through the painful experiment process (blinding him), he embraced his task. He is a complete master of his power, and is one of the top mutation-reversers. He is actually excited for the task ahead, and, in fact, he volunteered to be left behind.

Weaknesses/Strengths: He only ever reluctantly fights. It's very hard to urge him to do so. Most of the time, when he's fighting, it's to protect his friends. He has found that, much of the time, when he reverses the mutations on animals, they'll follow him around, and he can train them. Now he has his own mini force of dogs, cats, squirrels, and various other animals that he's un-mutated.

Weapon: His power, a small handgun.

Name: Nelia Aguero

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Description: Nelia has white blonde hair and almost clear blue eyes. Her hair usually is at shoulder length and almost completely straight. She has a pale complexion, but light freckles over her cheekbones. She is average height, around five feet seven inches, and usually in a white t-shirt and silver jacket with lightwash jeans. Her face is round with a cute nose and oval eyes. She doesn't smile much because of what's happened and is still happening, but instead keeps a straight expression to hide what her true feelings are.

Personality: She is quiet and shy, only opening up to her friends. Even around those friends she still chooses to remain reserved and only speak when necessary. She hates violence, is afraid of it, and can't bear to see anyone hurt. She's kind-natured and caring. And most of all, she's still in touch with her innocence. She can't think of herself even trying to hurt someone, or something, and will avoid it at all costs. She has no attachments to the scientists who helped her become what she is, but she sometimes misses the safety of knowing she didn't have to worry about what she does now. She uses the crutch of the pain from before to excuse her fragile mental and emotional system, but does what she's asked to.

Power: Nelia has the ability to purify water.

Weakness/Strengths: Her weaknesses include her emotional and mental instability, her fear of the unknown, and fear of violence. Her strengths include her poker face and her power.

Short Bio: Nelia wasn't given up to the scientists until after she turned two. They didn't have the money or environment to take care of her and thought it best she go to something good for the world. After going through the expirimental process, it took her a few years to get a full grasp on her power but left her one of the most in control. When the option came for her to be left behind, she had no choice, both her conscience and the scientists egging her on to do it.

Weapon: Though she prefers not to carry one, she has a small dagger hidden in the sole of one of her shoes for self-defense.

Other: Up for love, but it might not be so easy.

Name: Olive Skye (Skye for short. No one calls her Olive and lives.)

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Description: Skye is tall with auburn hair that falls to the middle of her back. She’s about 5’9”. Skye also has ice blue eyes and perfectly sun-tanned skin. She’s not super model skinny. She has curves, but just enough to make her look good rather than ugly. Skye has little freckles that dot her skin all over and an odd mark on the back of her neck that resembles a crescent moon, but it’s nothing special and nothing more than just a mark. She carries herself with grace and confidence and rarely ever shows fear or shock. Skye doesn’t worry about what she wears, but she looks good in just about anything.

Personality: Skye is tough and warrior like. She doesn’t give in to fear and she can control her emotions. She’s not rude or mean, but of you get on her bad side, she will talk down to you. She’s not stupid and she doesn’t like to be treated like she is. She likes to do things on her own and she doesn’t like not getting what she wants, though most of the time she just has to deal. Skye is good at keeping all emotion off of her face when necessary. She can be the meanest person you know sometimes, but when she’s dedicated to saving someone, she never fails and she never quits.

Power: Super Strength

Weakness/Strengths: She has incredible aim with a gun, and can fight hand to hand with anyone (or anything). She’s also pretty good with a knife, but she can’t kill with a knife. Her gun and her combat strength are what she relies on the most.

Short Bio: When she was younger, her mother died because of what the world had turned into. That left her in the hands of her father, who cared nothing about her. She was only four when he sent to the scientists. She didn’t complain though, because she knew she would give her life to find a way to get rid of all of the bad things on the planet. She knew the price she had to pay even before she agreed to go to the scientists. It didn’t take Skye long to be able to get used to and control the new strength they had given her, but it did take a while for them to figure out how to give her the power.

Weapon: She always carries a Glock on her hip

Other: She’s up for love, if you can handle her hardcore attitude.

Name: Ava Scarlett Samuels

Gender: Female

Age:16

Description: I have long, dark brown hair and dark green eyes. I am kinda tan but not that dark. I am thin but I have and hourglass figure. I am about 5'7 at the tallest. I am one of those people where you can tell when I am sad. I can not act happy. You can always tell how I am feeling. I have a had a bad past. My whole family are mutants. I became a savior to end their lives so my future can be better. You will see me is black tank tops and dark jeans everyday.

Personality: I am very fun loving and different. I do not want my bad past to effect how I am today and tomorrow. I do have some trusting issues. I also very helpful. I like to understand how people are feeling. I not a big talker, but I will do anything to make someone feel better. I do have a strong relationship with my creator. The pain was great, horrible, but no pain can compare to my parents turning evil. It was my choise to become a savior. I have plans to kill my parents and brother. How is the only question.

Power: I can clean the air by breathing

Weakness and strength: I am fast on my feet and I am great at hand to hand combat. I am also a good tracker. I do not do good under pressure. I have a bad temper when you order me around. I worry about others and would kill myself to save them. It is hard to trust people.

Weapon: My hands and legs

Other: I am up to love. I just need someone who will never leave me and who I can trust.

Name: Slavo Varashino

Gender: male

Age: 14

Description: Slavo is nearly 3'm tall, which is the only thing that gives away his mutation, as his appearance is completely human: pale, angular face, lank black hair, deep black eyes, thin lips, and a gangly physique. He wears jeans and a trench coat, and can never be seen without his wraparound sunglasses

Personality: Slavo has a cool, detached personality. The experiments wrought by the scientists warped his mind so that he thinks in strange paths, which will often lead to his victory as he is unpredictable. He is hard to fluster, and even harder to ambush. His goals are mysterious, although he has an obvious hatred for all who side with the scientists that mutated him.

Power: Mind control and manipulation (which extends to illusions, memory implants, etc)

Weakness/Strengths: he is weak physically, and it requires great concentration for him to use his powers. The experiments on his body also severed his nervous system, meaning he can't feel pain, touch, or taste (a drawback in many cases)

Short Bio: Slavo was born in north Europe, to a family of historians, from whom he got his love of theology and history (duh). However, during high school, his science teacher 'converted' him to a science lover, which led him to meeting the scientists that spelled his doom. Showing great proficiency, he dropped out of school to dedicate all his time to the Ark project. He actually led part of the genetic mutations experiment, but was tricked into being mutated, hence his hatred for scientists and Saviors.

Weapon: He has poison darts about his person, though he rarely uses them.
