Can I reserve a spot? A werelion half-breed if possible, on their father's side. I haven't decided on a gender yet.

Reserving for a dragon half-breed. My character will be a dragon on his father's side.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

Maria you might want to create only two SBs at a time. Because you have like six at the moment...
Stop for a while and think about this.

What if we used to be able to make wishes

But then someone wished we couldn't :O

Name: Nerin O’Hara

Age: 13

Gender: Female

Mythical Creature: Mermaid

History: Her mother was always paranoid of Nerin turning into a mermaid, that she moved to Kansas, never let Nerin swim, and she only took showers. Nerin’s father was never around, and on her tenth birthday, Nerin’s mother told her, in a fit of rage, that Nerin was a no good bastard child of a father who didn’t even know she was alive. Nerin’s mother slowly went insane and when she was thirteen, child services put her in a foster home.

Personality: Because of her abusive childhood, Nerin is very meek, and flinches just at the sound of yelling. She believed her mother when she was told that she was a bastard child, so she feels that she has no worth. She holds all other people to a high standard, and will give almost anything up for another person, even if they aren't friends with her. She often talks in her sleep, but is only a mumbling. She is obsessed with the idea that her father might be alive, and spends every spare second she has trying to learn who he is.

Sent to Academy: Nerin went swimming for the first time in her foster home. She was a natural, and much faster than her foster dad’s son, who was a star on the High School swimming team. However, the blue scales that create her tail started to form, which scared Nerin so much that she ran away to find her mother. Rather than help her only daughter, Nerin’s mother sent her to the Academy.

Other: She only has a tail when she is wet. She needs to be completely dry to have legs, but from the waist down, she always has blue scales, even when she has legs. As she is half fish, she can converse will all aquatic animals, although it is a little harder when she isn’t in the water. Her fingers are webbed, and instead of nails, she has miniature blue fins on her fingers.

Open the gates and seize the day! Don't be afraid and don't delay.

To die would be an awfully big adventure.

I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

Just call me Gill!

Name: Charles "Charlie Daniels" Firestone
Age: 19
Gender: Male
What is Your Mythical Creature?: Charles is a dragon on his father's side of his roots.
History: Not much is known about the origin of his father or how he was ever conceived, but Charles was the son of a dragonologist- his human mother. According to his mother, his father was from a very rare species of dragon that was coming extinct due to the increasing population of dragon slayers. His mother wasn't very famous for her firm belief and respect of dragons, but for her love of the Charlie Daniels Band- the sole reason for his nickname. She works as an archeologist, but still is in pursuit of her "husband" to this day. Charles follows in his mother's footsteps, hoping to find his birth father since his stepfather was abusive to Charles.
How did you got sent to the academy: Charles' mother- whose name was Angel- used up her vacation money to send Charles for a chance at harnessing his dragon-abilities and breaking him from the unsatiable jewel-hoarding habit.
Other: He's up for love, but his mother doesn't know that he's bisexual.

The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
