We'll Kill For Justice (Ended)

(This is very similar to a long series of storybooks called the Robin Hood Gang I did a very long lime ago.)

The Gang



A worldwide problem for government leaders is growing stronger. Until 2002 most gangs murdered for themselves, just groups of teenage boys with too much pride settling problems. Then one man changed everything. In the year 2003 a young man named Thomas Cortwell conjured up the idea of Justice Troupes, later called Cort Gangs. These were gangs that hunted down deadly criminals who got out of being sentenced because of small 'details' or good lawyers.

Thomas himself was an ex-cop, removed from office over a small infraction. He was sick of the American justice system, and decided to change it. He was trained, dangerous, and brilliant. Twenty long years after he was shot and killed, his legacy exploded to a worldwide mission. In over thirty countries around the world, gangs of hit men working under the table with police force were tracking down the world’s most dangerous criminals.

The gangs are always balancing between working under the table with police force and hunting down serial killers. Known to attract ex-cops, runaways, and society's rejected, these gangs aren't for the faint of heart. But who ever said you were?

Name: Sean Phoenix

Age: 22

Picture and Description: Sean is just under 6ft, with pale skin. He has short brown curls and has his left ear pierced. His light brown eyes often look tired and swollen from lack of sleep. He has a slim but lean athletes body acquired from his years of training. He has a tattoo going across his left arm.

Personality: When you first meet him, he seems like a quiet, brooding guy who likes to keep himself to himself. But once you get to know him he's a loyal friend who always has his team's back. However, he also has another side to him; a side that only comes out when the subject of the 9-0 gang comes up. On those ocassions, he's hot-headed, irrational, reckless and brutal – traits that have led him to commit some serious serious crimes, all of which the police have had to cover up over the years.

Likes: He likes sports, in fact most of his spare time revolves around playing basket ball or gointg to basket ball games. He also likes fixing motorbikes. He dislikes anyone asking him about his time in the 9-0 gang, unless it's to help with a case. He hates more than anything the 9-0 gang and all criminals in general. He is determined to do whatever it takes to finally rid the streets of them once and for all.

Quirks: He has a bit of a cleaning/organisation obsession. Whether it's his desk in the Cort gang hq or his files, everything has to be kept in a particular order. His team-mates call it an OCD, but he just calls it 'being clean'.

History: Sean was born and raised in a poor run-down part of the city with his alcoholic mother. Lacking in a proper male role model, Sean got himself involved in the 9-0 gang - the most ruthless and deadliest criminal gang in the entire city. While he was there, he made lots of useful contacts and took part in lots of different criminal activities including armed robbery, kidnapping, drug trafficking and assassinations. It made him feel alive, and like he finally had a family. But that ended when he was nineteen; he witnessed the kidnapping of three children at the hands of the 9-0. Always having a soft spot for kids, he tried to stop it, but was threatened with his life by the head of the 9-0, and was made to watch as the 9-0 brutally murdered the kids when their parents couldn't pay the ransom. After that event, something inside Sean snapped. He finally realised the brutal reality of being involved in a criminal gang, and swore that he would spend the rest of his life trying to stop something like that ever happening again. He left the gang, making him an official enemy to the 9-0. Haunted by the guilt of his previous crimes, he turned himself into the police. But, instead of putting him in prison, the police saw his potential as a former 9-0 and cut him a deal. If he joined the Cort gang, he would in return be offered clemency for his previous crimes. Seeing this as his chance to finally make ammends and start fresh, Sean willingly accepted. He has now been with the gang for over two years.

Secret(s): The Cort gang know about his history with the 9-0. What they don't know is that the 9-0 are after him for abandoning the gang. They also don't know that Sean has his own personal 'investigation' going on. He wants to bring down the 9-0 for good, and has assigned special undercover agents to infiltrate the gang so he can bring it down. Sean also has regular nightmares of when he witnessed the killing of the kidnapped children, and often has to take regular anti-depressant pills to help him cope.

Other: Sean has a calligraphic tattoo going across the left-side of neck bearing the name of the 9-0 gang - he always keeps it covered with a big plaster so only his closest friends know about it.

Name: Rebecca Avery Scout

Nickname: Becky or Scout

Age: 20

Picture and Description: She's five feet eight inches, relatively tall for a girl. She has traces of once being stunning, but tattoos and stress have ruined her. She doesn't smile enough to look healthy. She's very muscular for a girl. Her hair is almost always down and a little messy or in a braid. She's pretty when she smiles. She usually wears tank tops, old jeans and her combat boots or converse.

Personality: She's very defense, and impulsive. She's easy to anger and will pick fights to prove her strength. She doesn't like emotions that are irrational or that she can't understand. She challenges things she doesn't like. Becky gets most of her pride from her strength, and holds grudges against people for a long amount of time. She's stubborn, but a great fighter and incredibly handy with both her hands and gun fighting. She is outspoken, and says exactly whats on her mind. She doesn't give much thought to physical relationships, and has a tendency to be a little touchy-feely with guys she knows. Really, really deep down, she wants to be loved but is too afraid.

Likes/ Dislikes/ Quirks: She likes competition and challenges, making fun of stupid tv shows, her close friends, cars. She can't stand loosing in anything, fishy smells, really hyper people or really stupid people. Her quirks include collecting the bottle caps of every beer she drinks, folding paper cranes, and the fact she loves listening to really old music.

History: Her parents were two goody-two shoes perfect people. Her dad was a police cheif in a small town and her mom was a nurse at a local hospital. Becky, however, due to some serious anger management problems, never fit into their perfect little world. She always had a keen interest in her dads profession, however, and considered his line of work for a long time. After high school, she attempted to join the marines but her parents wouldn't give her consent. So she ran away with her boyfriend, who was into cage fighting. This was around the time she aquired most of her tattoos, one of them being his name. They hid for a year, and then he left her to return to a normal life that she didn't want. After being stranded and left to pay the rent on the apartment they shared, she talked to one of her ex's friends who was a member of a Cort Gang. She convinced him to help her get a spot in a gang since she had nowhere else to go. He obliged, and she has been with this gang for a little more than a year.

Up for love: Kinda, sorta, yes

Secret(s): She has no idea what her sexuality is, she thinks she might be bi. The fact her dad is a cop.

Other: She prefers hand fighting to using a gun, and with guns would rather use a hand gun than assult rifle. She doesn't like explosives.

Name: Tyler Spencer

Age: (17-30) 19

Picture and Description: She is five feet and five inches. Her eyes are dark gray (even though they are not in the pic). She is pretty average looking (at least she thinks so).

Personality: Tyler is someone who can be sometimes hard to get along with. She has a hard time learning to trust people. Once you win her trust, she is a great friend. Her attitude depends on who is around, some people she is more playful around while others she is more serious. She is level-headed, a good liar, and a con artist. She has an iron will to live and survive. She is a stealth killer, preferring to use poison than a gun. Although she does carry around a pair of daggers just in case.

Likes/ Dislikes/ Quirks: She loves tomatoes, reading (any kind), the dark, observing people, biology, and medical. She hates avocados, thunderstorms (she is fine with just rain,) and her birthday. Her quirks are twirling her hair around her fingers when she is tried.

History: Her father was a freelance poison expert and her mother was a doctor. On the day of her 15th birthday, her father was found murdered. They had a suspect in custody, but could not find any evidence against him. He was allowed to walk free. Her mother died of grief a couple months later. She was moved to the orphanage, but before she moved she collected her dads and moms research. Every night before she went to bed she would study them. After getting out of the orphanage, she started to work as a freelance interrogator. She soon became known as "The Angel of Death." The Court Gang came looking for her. After joining her personalty did a major 180.

Up for love: Yes, if you can handle her.

Secret(s): (Everyone has one or two) She went after the man who killed her father after she left the orphanage. But when she found him, she could not kill him. She feels ashamed that she couldn't and vows that if she ever sees him again, he't going to be six-feet-under.

Other: She is very good with poisons and medicine. She also has a belly-button ring:

Two quick notes:

1. Since I want to have no more than six gang members, I'd prefer if we had a balanced number of girls and guys.

2. Since most of the gang members are either in hiding or have commited crimes, the gang members have a small one-story house and car payed for by the government. This is the gang hq and home.

Name: Conrad "Con" Issacs

Age: 23

Picture and Description: Conrad is fairly tall, around 5'11" with greenish-silver eyes, which can't be seen in the pic.

Personality: Con is pretty quiet around strangers but open and talkative around those he trusts. Because of the trouble he's been in, coming to truly trust someone has been difficult. He tends to isolate himself but loves working with others.

Likes/ Dislikes/ Quirks: He likes the rain, anything green, and the ocean. He dislikes the the color red, blood, and pain of any kind. Con is an avid smoker...of anything.

History: Conrad's father left when he was little and his mother had always been struggling to provide. To help her out, he became involved with a gang and was a large part of the city's drug trafficking, where he became an addict. After a few members of his gang were caught, everyone turned against him and considered him to be the rat that sold them out. Having nowhere else to go after this and his mother's death, he turned to the Cort Gang, hoping to find a new home among them.

Up for love: Sure.

Secret(s): Because of his father's leaving, he struggles to know who he really is and keeps his constant identity crisis hidden. He's soft, because of his mother, and hates it, always undermining himself.

Other: Has a pair of switchblades and won't use anything else.
