Some of the others don't though. Are you trying to hold them hostage or something?

Before I could even respond to Laiel's comment, I saw something move outside the window. Making sure that he could stand properly on his own, I then walked over to see what it was. Next thing I know, the window is suddenly broken and webs attach to my arms. Before I could even respond, they jerk me out the broken window.
I start to bleed for where the window had cut me, but I also know that is the least of my concern. Spiders are everywhere, quickly weaving a web around me to catch me. I thrashed and twisted, but it seemed not matter what I did, they would not stop. Suddenly, I felt fangs dig deep into my skin. The last thing I heard before going to blackness was the sound of fighting and someone calling my name.

Elsa- We're still getting organized when the glass shatters and spiders come pouring in. Adrian is bitten immediately and passes out. They carry Adrian away, as Laiel calls her name, but more spiders are already swarming in. Using the medical textbook, I start swinging at the spiders, crushing as many as I can. But for every one I crush, there seems to be a thousand more swarming just behind it. I push a struggling Laiel onto Diablo's back and call for the birds to take Jayden to safety as well, but I stand my ground, trying to give them as much time as possible. Tears blur my vision as i wonder if I'll ever see Adrian again.

Adrian was just opening her mouth when they all whirled around. There were spiders everywhere - there was no time to shift.
Webs shot out, spiders swarmed forward, and Laiel's heart stopped.
"Adrian!" he screamed, running after her, wading through spiders. "Adrian, no!" He had to save her - he had to protect her.
Elsa tried to pull him back, but he fought like mad, still screaming. They couldn't take Adrian! They couldn't. He had been pulled onto Diablo's back, now. They took off.
"Adrian," he managed weakly. He realized that he was crying and didn't really care. He could see her, right below them, unconscious and bleeding and in danger, and there was nothing he could do. "No..."Spoiler
Like Tgirly said; I can edit if this isn't okay.

I cursed myself in Spanish. Gale found out I escaped and where I went to. I had no other choice but to get away before Gale gets his brethren on me. Once I shifted full dragon, I quickly took to the sky. I wanted to be free from being caged by spiders and I was not going to lose my sanity now. I managed my way to a Mexican village, where I shifted full human upon landing. The village was quiet, a little too quiet. I sighed. "De nuevo en casa, pero con los amigos para esconderse de un enemigo. Just like the day I was disowned by my adoptive parents." A woman's voice asked, "Ángel, hijo mío?" I turned around, looking at a rather young woman who seemed to have my appearance. I quickly recalled what she called me. Angel, almost like it was my true name. I asked in return, "Mama?" She nodded, then led me and the others in her house. Once everyone was inside, she hugged me tightly. "Te extrañé mucho, mi ángel." I almost cried. At last, I found my mother. After all this time, I was finally reunited with my biological mother.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
Diablo was talking in Spanish to the family and Laiel decided not to interrupt. He wondered what it must have been like to grow up not knowing who your real parents were, wondering what they were like. He didn't blame Diablo for looking so happy.
Laiel wished he could be that happy. Diablo may have come home, but Adrian was still in danger. He had to rescue her - but they were in Mexico. Mexico! Why on earth had Diablo decided to take them to Mexico? They had to get Adrian free!
There were still the others, too - Blighton and all the other rebels, although they were seeming less and less like enemies - but Adrian was the one who flooded his mind. Adrian, with those amazing eyes, and the way she had stayed with him the whole time when he was weak... and now he was having a lovely vacation in Mexico while she had been kidnapped!
He couldn't stand sitting still any longer. He quietly excused himself and walked outside, where he could pace back and forth. He had to get back. But how?

I woke up to the silence and darkness all around me. For just a second, I felt panic start to set deep in my gut. Taking several deep breaths, I manage to calm myself down. Now I could think straight.
I have to get out of here.
As soon as I thought that, I could feel myself start to shift within the cocoon. Using my nails, I started to dig at the side. After a while, a hole had been made. Turning back into a human, I climbed out.
There where spiders everywhere. I thought about running, but decided against it. Simply because if I tried I would probably be attacked, again. So, doing the simple thing, I just sat down where I was standing.
I knew what was going to happen when Gale came back. Sighing, I started to prepare myself for the worst.
I hope the others are okay...

The spiders have order to attack on sight, btw- until me and thebookworm decide on business, do be kind and 1) don't post; or better post but don't make SB changing events happen, or 2) Be tortured by Gales's spiders
I heard a cough from another room. "Madre, ¿quién era ese?" My mother led me to the other room, her face full of remorse. She gestured to a man who was lying in bed and closed the door behind me. I studied him carefully. Just looking at him, I could've sworn I was seeing through a mirror. That sick man in bed was precisely like me. I asked quietly, "Padre?" He looked at me in the eye, then smiled almost proudly. "After all these years, I finally get to see you, Angel. You were just a baby when I first saw you. I never thought I'd get to see my only child all grown up." I was surprised of how he spoke to me. It was nothing more than perfect and fluent English, with an unmistakeable American accent. "After all this time, I never knew my real family was alive." My father chuckled a little, then coughed as much. "Your mother and I have been searching all over America and Mexico for you. You were two weeks old when you were taken from your cradle. Even though the police force in America gave up too soon, I found a lead here in Mexico that there was a child with feral eyes running around. I knew it had to be you, but I was too late to claim you as mine by the time you came of age. I looked all over Mexico with your mother in hopes of finding you and becoming a family again. Your mother and I never gave up." I sat at his bedside and took his hand. "You look sick. How come?" His hand firmly gripped mine. "Scorpion sting. I don't have much time left to live." He coughed so violently, I was scared to pieces. "At least I know I finally get to see you. All those years of searching and refusing to give up had rewarded me by bringing you home. You know your mother and I missed you, that's why we kept searching for you even if we feared you were dead. I've missed all those years watching you grow up. Because I'm dying, this will be the only time we'll ever talk." He coughed again and I could tell he was losing his life in front of me, breaking my heart piece by piece. "I hope you'll live a happy life without me, Angel. Yo no te olvido, hijo mío." He laid his head against his pillow and closed his eyes, his grip on my hand coming loose. My chest heaved as I struggled not to cry. My father- like the Professor- was now dead. At least my father, knowing I was there with him, died happy. Now I felt the same pain the shark felt. With tears falling from my eyes, I kissed my father's cold hand. "Yo nunca te olvidaré, mi padre." I sighed. "No more shall I steal jewels to please myself. I take orders from no one but the Professor's successor, the shark. From this moment forward, this dragon hoards no more."
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
