Diablo Draco

I heard someone mention my name, but not once did I move from where I was. I didn't move from my position. Instead, I raised my voice so I could be heard. "Believe it or not, I turned myself in. I gave myself up to your hands willingly. I know that is unlike me to do that, but I have done it because I am just as fed up with Gale as all of you. Yo vengo de buena gana y en paz. Yo no ofrecer resistencia alguna. You have nothing to worry about. I have nothing on me. Nothing at all. I swear it on my dragon form."

The room got quiet after Diablo's speech. Everyone exchanging glaces with one another. "I let him in." I atmitted. All eyes in the room turned toward me. The silence continued. "He said that he wanted to talk to Blighton. Well, Bighton wasn't here and Laiel was asleep. I worked with Diablo, if he wanted to kill us, he would have done it by now." I finished solmly.

I looked in to everyones eyes, looking at Laiel's last. I had been forced to make a choice and I felt that I made the right one. I just hoped they thought the same thing. Suddenly more footsteps came down the hall and walked in the the conference room. "Dialbo." was heard from down the hall. It was Blighton.

Blighton-

I walked into the conference room,"Diablo. Good to see you. I will not harm you as long as you do not return to Gale. I need your help to evacuate. Gale will probaly have done something to prohibit us fom going into the ocean again. I need you and the birds, Elsa calls, to carry the Shifters away to safety. I will deal with Gale. Thank you.," I say as he nods his understanding," Please relay the plan to the rest of them. I have to confront Gale."

I untie Diablo's hands and walk into the medical room. "Diablo will tell you what to do. Laiel you are still in charge.Goodbye."I say quickly and leave without them getting to say anything else.

I headed out of the base, and into the forest. In the direction of Gale and his many spiders.

Gale- Evil

"What's that?" I murmur, addressing Venomfang softly. "You tell me Blighton's here to confront me? How very foolish- his animal is useless on land"
"Cora" I bark "Change of plans- follow me to Blighton. He's hopelessly outnumbered. I'll distract him, then my servants will swamp him, and I'll have you as back-up"
She nodded mutely.
"My spiders will carry us- come on"
We headed into the jungle, following my faithful and loyal house-spiders.

I didn't know where to take the others without the aid of Elsa, so I waited for a command from the one called Laiel. I massaged my wrists to keep circulation going. As I waited for orders from the one in charge, I thought over what the shark had said. He said he will not harm me as long as I do not return to Gale. I mumured, "Sí, no voy a volver al rey de las arañas. At least it is safe to say that being among the mountain gato's amigos feels more better than being caged against my will. Sooner or later, the shark and his amigos will have to punish me for all the wrong I've caused since the squad split. This time, I can give myself credit to commit to my word. Sí, se puede comprometer a eso." I sat there and waited more.

Elsa-
I head out and call a flock of eagles passing overhead. There's about a dozen of them, but I think with the help of Diablo we'll be able to evacuate everyone. When I come back down, Diablo's murmuring to himself in Spanish.
"What was that?" I ask him, the flock waiting behind me by the entrance.

I watched as Elsa called for her birds and Diablo sat there, waiting. Hearing a noise beside me, I turned. There was Laiel, trying to get out of bed. Hurrying over, I placed my hand on his back and helped him up. He was still a little wobbly, but he was also much better than he was earlier. Elsa than ran to Jayden to help him up.

This doesn't feel right. I thought as I helped him.

"Laiel, maybe someone should go help Blighton..." I said; trailing off.

I knew that one person facing an army of spiders would not hold them off for long. Two people, might be able to buy a little more time. At the rate we were moving; we would need it. If we send someone else, then it would them a chance to get to where they were going. More importantly; Laiel would be safe.

Hope this is okay. :)

Hey guys, you realize no one ever told Laiel he's second in command...

Laiel

"Laiel, you're still in charge," called Blighton, and then he left. Laiel blinked. He was in charge? Since when? He tried to rise. Adrian rushed in to help him; his back seemed warmer where she put a hand.

"Laiel, maybe someone should go help Blighton," she said.

"I, um... I guess so." He was still confused by what Blighton had said. How was he supposed to know that he was in charge? "Who..." Suddenly it hit him. "I will," he said. He wanted to protect Adrian, and he couldn't think of a better way to do that. "I can find him, maybe..."

Blighton-

"Gale! I know your're here! I'll get the redback spiders to make you their King if you release Cora and Roger and never bother us again!" I yelled into what seemed like an empty clearing. I knew it wasn't, his spiders were everywhere.

"I come freely and wil not fight you. I can get the spiders to listen to me. You know I can, Gale. I got the sharks to listen to me!" I shouted.

Okay guys. This's getting boring. I'll move things along, shall I?

Gale- Evil

I step forwards, my spiders twitching impatiently but still hidden, hand raised in the air. A mocking grin surfaces to my face.
"Blighton. What a pleasant surprise" I sneer. "So you'd like me to accomplish my goal, huh? In exchange for Cora, and that pathetic Roger?"
Blighton nodded.
"One problem" I state. "You see, Cora is here with me, and Diablo at your base. Cora doesn't want to go back to him. Therefore, I propose this: give me Diablo and I'll give you Cora"
I continued before Blighton could speak.
"I'd give you Roger, but unfortunately, he's taken a little swim. And my spiders are guarding the shores"
Blighton paled.
"And that's not all" I said. "The'res a lovely creature know as the Gladiator spider. You know what they do? They drop nets at flying targets from up above. I expect your friends have already stumbled into a trap. You failed. Never go up against me, Blighton"
My spiders surge forward.
"And another thing" I whisper, before my spiders bite him. "My envoy already secured an allegiance with the redbacks as I distracted you. This whole thing was a ploy to waste time as I negotiated secretly.
And you know what they asked in return, Blighton? Your friends... for lunch"

Blighton-

It was a trap as I had hoped. Now I would get to talk with the redback spiders. The spiders bit me and I faked being unconcious.

Thousands of spiders carried me into a deeper part of the forest. I heard Gale sneer,"Here's your lunch."

I was put down and Gale's footsteps and his spiders receded. I sat up. The spiders around me scurried to bite, but I commanded,"Stop. I need to speak to the leader of the redback spiders. Not the King of all the spiders though. Thank you." A few spiders scurried away, and I was hoping they were bringing their King.

Just a few problems, thebookworm. Sorry, dude- One, Gale would need to spend some time getting you there. Two, all spiders under Gale's command are poisonous. Three, I promised all the good Shifters for lunch, not just you. Four, redback spiders are highly territorial and wouldn't really understand you. Five, you'd be dead at this point. Sorry, sorry, I don't mean to be mean, just pointing stuff out. :( :D

I know your're concerns Double I.I didn't say how short or long the trip was. Blighton being the son of the scientist who ceated the Shifters is good at science as well. He has developed a formula that makes you immunized to spider venom, like a shot. Blighton could have gotten there first. If I offered them something, I think they would understand.

I don't mind you pointing stuff out, Italian. great job on your posts, everyone! :D

What do you mean by that? Our parents could be involved? A lot of the Shifters don't have parents.
