The Moosehead Tavern [1]

"Rayah, do you know who these people are? Do you know what planet their from, what they did, why their running? There not ordinary criminals."

"I don't know." Jace replies. "I don't remember Sam."
He hears what Spinx says about them and looks to Nic, who glances back for a moment before looking down.

I let go of Jace. "W-what?" I got off the stool and backed away. "Is everything you told me true?"

"What are you ashamed now Nic? I just thought she should know the truth before anything happened." She laughed.

"He's not a liar." Nic answers for his brother. "I'm not sure if it's possible to lie when you're drunk... Anyway, he might not have told you everything, but he definitely didn't lie."
He turns to Spinx.
"You make us out to be the monsters here." He says. "But you're the one I see trying to do harm."

"I want to know whats going on. Im so confused." I looked at Jace. "Tell me.Who are you and why are you here?" I tear ran down my cheek and I baried my head in my hands.

Jace didn't like it when Rayah started crying. He sets a hand on her arm and tries to keep all the questions at mind as he answers.
"I-I am who I say I am." He says. "I-I'm from Avalia though."

"Wouldn't you want to do the same if I had killed Jace? Like the way you killed Sam? She was so in love with you. But as soon as you found out what she was you just snapped. Besides I don't want to kill you."

Nic's temper flared.
"I didn't kill her!" He shouts. "I may not have been able to help her but I didn't kill her! I-I loved her..."

I keep my head in my hands and took my knife out and stabbed it into the bar. "Take it." I said emotionaly. "I don't want it, all I'll do is hurt myself with it. Take it away before I do." I made my face clear and my eyes turned red.

"And she loved you too. But you couldn't stand the fact that she was part of the society you hated. You killed her and I wouldnt be surprised if you killed her Rayah too."

I lifted my head and grabbed the knife I wrapped my hands around it and broke it in half. "What are you talking about." I asked.

"They do this kind of stuff for fun. The way he feels for you is fake. He does this to girls and makes them fall for him then when when they get bored they get rid of you." "When the whole killing spree happened Sam had no idea it was them." "This is no their first time doing this."

"No, Thats not true." I said. "Is it?" I turned to Jace. "Jace, is what she's saying true?"

"She doesn't know what she's talking about." Nic says. "I wouldn't have killed you and Jace wouldn't either. He has the biggest conscience between us."
