I looked at the new guy. I was still playinga round with my gun. I by accident shot another one. "Oh sorry again!" I said smiling. "Im going to put it away now!"
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Someone is talking to me. I suppose I must answer him. "How about a better question." I rasp. "What I used to be. I used to be from the Rogna species, able to remove and attach different limbs at will. That doesn't matter now. I made a mistake. I put on the feet of Hellbor, a demon. I'd rather not talk about the rest." I look down at my black, clawed feet. I stand nine feet tall, my face is flat, with two long eyes stretched down the side. My arms are covered with armor, and I have no hands.
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.
Strangely, I'm not surprised. Where I come from, supernatural happenings occur all the time. Now would be the time that I wish I had a mouth, to smile. I pour the drink down a hole on top of my head. I look at the girl. "What?" I say. "You've never seen a Half-Demon before?" I laugh wheezily. I turn to the man. "I've had several names, and a very, very, very long history. I think I'm approaching sixty billion around now. I was in Hell for a long time. Thankfully, the Creator spared me, but I must roam the galaxy as a Half-Demon, but it's better than being a full one. No name needed. But if you must, I'd prefer to go by King. But if you truly know me, you might know of my days when I was a powerful protector. Satyr. Ring a bell?"
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.
"OH! MY! WORD! - That's it! That's you!" He shook the demons hand furiously.
"You are a very famous individual my friend! You would BELIEVE the stories and legends I've heard of The Satyr, The Master, The Leader, The KING!!! That is you!"
Being in the presence of such a well know astrological being made Paradox a little jumpy. As the Half-Demon and the Young Jace could tell.
"I wish I was that popular on my planet. I'm not sure how much it has changed. Besides, I think my people preferred BloodWolf over me. Said he was the better king. Bah, he was created to oppose me. Sure, my rule over the land, and eventually, the galaxy beyond, was strict. But I improved. I've deactivated BloodWolf and reactivated him more times than I can count. Gave him the rule willingly once. First, he was just created to kill me. But I killed him. But you probably don't want to hear an old creature's rants about his life. I had a good and powerful rule. That's what I like to reflect on. Not BloodWolf, curse his Hellish roots."
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.
I go over my memories from so long ago. BloodWolf, such a great friend, and such a horrible traitor. He was created to destroy me. An act of rebellious citizens. Then I murdered him. Later, I wanted peace, so I let BloodWolf run my kingdom by wiping his memory and rebooting him. But then I asked to pass a law, and BloodWolf turned me down. So I killed him again, and regained the kingdom. After rebooting him two more times for different reasons, I found the feet of Hellbor, which turned me into a demon and sent me to Hell. I shudder. I never want to go back.
