The Moosehead Tavern [1]

Jace thinks, clearing his throat again.

He turns to Rayah, smiling.

"Please tell me you know that song."

I shook my head, "No. But you were awesome." I clapped, "Who sings it?"

"It's Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls." Jace says. "That's like one of their greatest hits."

"Oh yeah!" I said smiling, "It totally forgot, I haven't heard any of their songs in months," I laughed.

I sang. I totally forgot the bartender walked back in and I covered my mouth. "Oops."

"I love that one too!" Jace says.

He sees the horrified look on Rayah's face as she stops singing and glances at the bartender, who is frozen with his eyes locked on her.

"Shit..." I murmered. And put my head back in frustration. "Yeah, that's why I don't sing."

"How long does it last?" Jace asks.

"Well the people That I did it on when I was twelve...they stopped when they turned 13." I said frowing. "Yep that sucks." I said looking down. The bartender was staring at me now.

"I'm too young for you, turn around." I said motioning him away and he walked back into the kitched still looking at me through the window.

"That's kind of creepy." Jace says about the bartender.

"I know..." I smiled, "Maybe if I sing again, he might snap out of it or something."

"Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain

He turned around and kept working. I laughed, "Cool it works."

Jace smiles, kissing the side of Rayah's face.

"Good. Now there's no competition."

"Competition? Ha, There never was." I said smiling. "It'll always be you." I said taking a sip of my drink.

Jace laughs. "Yeah, I know."

"Oh guess who my brother is." I said smiling. "I have to babysit him like every week."

"Justin Bieber." Jace guesses.
