For those who have bands with unfilled character spaces, you can make profiles for them. We will be starting, by the latest, at the end of February. No more bands now, just members. Thanks a lot.

Name: Alex Hartsum Band: Condor (Keyboardist [if they need one]) Age: 23 Gender: Male Appearance: Tall and skinny. Brown shaggy beard and a soul patch. Lanky. sort of slouches around. Personality: Alex is very shy and hates the spotlight. The only reason he joined Condor is for his love of music, the piano, and writing music. His dream is to have his music performed, recorded, and sold. He figures that the best way to do that is to join a band and try to help carry them to fame and throw some of his songs in there. Alex is a total introvert. Alex loves to do guy stuff but his anti-athletism cancels out all sports that involve movements but he loves watching sports and refereeing. He is a nerd but he doesn't show it ever. Up for love?: He secretly thinks that Sydney from the Rockets from Sydney is super cute but he believes that she must be taken already and that if he dated a member from another band, he would be booted from Condor.

"Man Heath! There must be bands from every state in the country here!" Alex Hartsum hoisted his keyboard case closer to his chest as he and the band, Condor, shoved through the crowd into the hotel lobby. "Where do we go?"
Heath shrugged his shoulders, a difficult feat under all of the instruments, cases, and shoulders. Heath forced a group in his way to split and led Alex to the main desk. The lady behind it look frustrated with the computer and a man yelling at her. Heath shoved the man aside quietly.
"Excuse me madam. I have a room reserved under the name Heath. If you could give us a key, we will be out of your lobby in no time."
The lady grit her teeth and gave Heath and Alex an evil death stare. "I am sorry sir. We are having booking issues. If you could please wait. We have travel brochures in the front if you would like to tour the cit while you wa-"
Heath slapped his hands on the desk and got right in the lady's face. "Look, we drove over 1000 miles to get here stopping only three times for gas. We are all very tired and do not want to 'tour the city' just give us a key and we will be out of your face!"
The lady jumped away from her desk, fear filling her eyes. "Yes sir, if you could please wait in the lobby while we sort out some computer errors.
Alex clung even tighter to his keyboard and stood as close as he could to Heath without being awkward. Suddenly there was a whine from a nearby speaker. "Ladies and Gentlemen, dudes and dudettes! Welcome to the first annual mixed music youth band competition! As you can see we are having difficulties with the surge of contestants arriving. Please be patient and we will get everything sorted out." Alex found an empty corner and sunk to the floor to put his head down. It was going to be a long competition!

I muttered underneath my breath and clutched my bookbag to my chest. "C'mon Fey." Arianna my drummer urged gently tugging me over to the wall. I sank onto the floor my back pressed against the wall. Arianna stood tapping her foot her eyes lighting up with curiousity. "Ladies and Gentlemen, dudes and dudettes! Welcome to the first annual mixed music youth band competition! As you can see we are having difficulties with the surge of contestants arriving. Please be patient and we will get everything sorted out." Aria and I rolled our eyes at the same time and then I put my earbuds in. I turned on my Ipod and started to listen to music. I heard Aria start a conversation with the person closest to her. I heard them answer and smiled. I knew that Aria was absolutely beautiful and sweet. She could make anyone feel calm and safe just by being near her.

"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
I flounced into the lobby, the rest of my crew tagging behind me in a less bubbly fashion.
"You have too much energy." Carter laughed.
"That energy drink seemed like a really good at the time." I laughed. Suddenly, a voice rang over the speaker and I jumped, shocked by the sudden noise. I looked around at the rest of the bands, and smiled. There were guys. Lots of guys. Very cute guys.
For a moment, my mind snapped back to Jake, then the thought vanished. Who needs small town guys anyway?
"I'm in the city," I mumble-sang out loud, and took out a napkin to write the lyrics on, "And my rushing blood makes the lights look so pretty. Yes they do. They almost shine as bright as you."
"Hit song in progress?" Aine smiled.
"I hope so." I said, and then continued to etch my masterpiece on a napkin.
Love is beautiful, but what would love be without life?
I shouldn't have lost my temper with the woman at the desk, but it was true: we'd driven a long way. Three stops was a little exaggerated, but Alex was tired, and keyboards are not light. I shouldered my guitar case, feeling as if it was going to crush me. As it so happens, basses aren't so light either. We made for the room as soon as I got the key. It was not the biggest, fanciest room in the world, but after such a long drive I could have fallen asleep in a box. Alex made a sound somewhere between relief and mania as he flopped onto his bed. I propped my bass against the wall and sagged onto my own bed, glad to be out of the driving seat; I was asleep almost before my head hit the pillow.

Tr!x - 79% Sure The lobby was loud, noisy, and crowded. I pushed my way through the crowd. Lloyd and the rest would follow me, I was sure. If not, what did I care? It had been a lo-o-ong drive and I was ready to kill - well, seriously injure, anyway - to get a decent bed. I drummed my fingers against the desk until somebody payed attention to me. "Two rooms, under Lloyd Macintosh," I said. "You're Lloyd?" The guy who had just arrived behind the desk raised an eyebrow. I sighed and pointed. He was right behind me. The dude handed me the keys and directed me toward the stairs. "Your room's on the third floor. The elevator's out of commission," he said. I headed for the stairs, still in the lead. On the third floor, my suitcase rolled over someone's foot and flopped upside down. I paued to upright it and let the others catch up.

Tr!x and Kev stepped into the room, it smelled of fresh pine and... clenliness. Soon such odours would be stranded in the scents of alchohol and food. Tr!x flung herself onto a bed and sighed deeply. Kev went straight to the toilet, this place was our home for the next who knows how long, as long as it took to win this competition. I would have been up for some good ol' fashioned sabotage already, the destructive side of me needed nurturing, but I was so tired. I sighed and looked over to Tr!x. "So... sleeping arrangements?

I went back to the desk to retrive our key after I saw some bands get their keys. "Excuse me we have a reservation under Baker, Sydney." The lady behind the counter searched his computer and finally found our name. "Here you go you'r in room 318 on the third floor." She said. I took the keys fro her and waved Sydney and Aine over. The elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs. when we got to our room I opened the door and Sydney ran to the bedroom. We walked in to find her resting comfortably on a big bed covered in pillows. Aine and I plopped down on either side of her and sighed.

OK I'm just gonna invent a guitarist or singer or something, Mjdwrite I guess you can make a drummer?
Heath- Condor
I had intended to remain flopped on the bed for the duration of the day and probably straight into the night, but ended up itching to do something productive. As far as I could tell, Alex was asleep, the shower was in use, complete with singing, and JD was getting cookies, which I presumed meant girls and not confectionery. I rolled over, and saw for the first time the little practice amplifier tucked away in the corner, almost out of sight behind the table. A grin split my face. I quietly walked across the room and collected the amp, positioning it just outside the bathroom door. I hoisted my guitar case onto the bed and unveiled its contents- a blacktop bass, double humbuckers, black body, and swallows marking each fret. I swear my hear skips a beat every time I see it. Carefully slipped on the strap and plugged in, set the amplifier to overdrive, and sat down on the bed, ambush set. Mike, our guitarist, was currently engaged in a frightening rendition of Thriller. It seemed like an eternity, but eventually the sound of falling water ceased. I tensed, like a tiger stalking prey. Mike threw the door open and stepped into the room, towel clasped around his waist. I struck an open string as hard as I could, filling the room with sound, and Mike almost hit the roof as he threw himself back into the bathroom, shouting profanity. I chuckled to myself, and began to play, enjoying the feeling of true expression after a thousand mile journey.
At the end of the day, when the sun is gone and the light is lost, the shadows will play.
Tr!x "Rock-paper-scissors for the floor?" I lost against Lloyd the first time, demanded that it be two out of three, and lost again. When Kev came out of the bathroom I lost against him too. I grumbled a bit, but we had all hit a wall. Even I didn't have the energy to argue. I trudged down to the front desk to collect some extra pillows and blankets. Back in the room, I threw them down on the floor in a haphazard way. I intended to fall asleep as soon as I could. The competition started way too early the next day for my liking. Of course, that wasn't going to happen. The guys didn't quiet down for several more hours.

"You could look at the raindrops on your window, or you could look through the window and see the rainbow."
I flopped down on the bed, and pulled my laptop out of my bag. I quickly typed in the lyrics thatI had just written, and then shut down the computer. I had spent the whole ride here on the computer. I was done looking at screens.
"So, are we going to wreck the hotel room, or try and be polite guests?" I grinned, pleased at the thought of more early morning Cheez-IT fights and energy drink binges. I was a passive rebel at heart.
No one responded, so I threw a pillow at Carter, who was looking through a magazine.
"What?" She demanded.
"I asked if we were going to be good people, or have fun." I smiled, and made a hopeful face.
Love is beautiful, but what would love be without life?
"I asked if we were going to be good people, or have fun." She smiled, and made a hopeful face. I laughed and shook my head. "Sydney don't you think it's a little to early to be going al rock star on the place. They may kick us out of here." I stated. She mad a face and crossed her arms. "C'mon you worry to much, live a little!" She yelled bu I shook my head at her. "No as long as we are here we are going to be the good residents." She plopped on the bed and crossed her arms again. "Fine." I walked out of the hotel room and into a janitors closet where I pulled out my cell phone and dialed a number. The phone rand 5 times before someone finally answers. "Hello," the voice on the other end was slurred and tired. I sighed and responded. "Hey mom, it's me." "Carter, hey Carter how-how are you, did-did you make it to the airport yet." She asked and I sighed again. "Mom you drove me to the airport, I'm at the hotel now and I'm fine." It was silient for a long time before she talked again. "Oh yeah, I guess I did, well sweetie I'm really tired and I need to go to work in the morning so I gotta go." A tear ran down my cheek and I choked back a sob. "Okay I just wanted you to know I was alright, I love you." She sighed. "I love you to kid," With that she hung up and I slid down onto the floor and tapped out a slow sad beat with my sticks.

Aine grunted as Carter slammed the door. She was going to talk to her messed up mom. She did this on a regular basis and it was so bumming to see Carter walk in with tears evident on her cheeks. She said she didn't care, but it was beyond obvious. Aine didn't know Carter's whole story but it made for great performances and sucky rehearsals which is what they had in about 24 minutes.
Aine swung her legs around the chair to look at her lead singer. "Hey Sidney. We get stage B in about 20 minutes. We only have half an hour so what is the game plan?" Aine would probably end up making the decisions in the end, being there first night in a new hotel and all, but she liked to give Sidney the opportunity just in case.
"Well, we need to decide on our routine and run that a few times. We definitely need to play "Near Me" but I can't think of an intro to it." Aine had to think about what Sidney said. She made the first decision!
Aine recovered quickly and said, "We can only play one song this round and that is not my strongest. We have better played."
"But not better written. You have your solo in that song and you take the house every time with it. Why not?"
Aine hate playing that solo. Trevor, the lead guitar had reluctantly given her just that one song and she got so nervous every time he was behind her while she played. She could swear that he had a dagger in his boot and was ready to throw it at her if she ever got bigger cheers than he did.
Trevor was staying with a friend so she didn't worry about him running into her in the halls but she was just a little bit more scared of him and his boots.
(You can cut out the Trevor part if you do please.)
Sidney started scribbling down songs and putting checks next the best ones and then ranking them by her favorites. Aine did the same. The comparisons were almost opposite.
