Title: War of the Pendant



·In Fortuna City, New York, there is something far from normal. Vampires and witches walk the streets blending in with the bustling city. When Daylights and Cillians join together to get the pendant they make an almost unstoppable force, one thing they never expected was for the prize to be so easy. In the hands of a human, they could simply take it, until the Nightwalkers and the Morganians also set there eyes on the pendant. Analeya also lives in New York and has just received the pendant as a family heirloom. Little did she know it would come with a price- a price of vampires, witches and the possible end of humanity.

He's often seen wearing black to blend in at night or green during the day to look human. He sometimes clench his fists when he's angry, but only Mia ever saw him angry and kept her mouth shut about it. Artemis also has a blood jade amulet hidden under his shirt that tells him who's friend or foe, offers protection from Morganian magic, and helps him find places to hide when the going gets tough.

He knows how the amulet functions, since Mia was the one who made it for him and told him the ins and outs of the amulet itself.
Skills/Powers: a skilled martial artist and a firm leader. As a vampire, he has super strength and has night vision. Unlike the Nightwalkers and most of the Daylights, he never sleeps since he's on constant alert for any kind of trouble. He also can hear things from a mile-radius and is pyrokinetic as well as telekinetic. Whether his fellow Daylights know it or not, he can shapeshift as a last resort- only if he needs to get out of a situation that's a little too much for him to handle.
Personality: he's quite the lady's man when the occasion calls for it, but has a temper that often flares when someone or something gets on his last good nerve. He often sticks around with small groups of humans to make himself hidden in plain sight. He has a fear of snakes, but he hardly shows it around anyone. He likes listening to country music and a little rock music when he gets his chance. He's normally calm and cool as a cucumber, but once you get him angry, you better run for your life.
History: Believe it or not, he was orginally a human of royal blood. His parents were once rulers of a foreign land where the Cillians and Morganians originated. He had a quiet but happy life with his parents until he and a friend were abducted by a neutral vampire who made the boys vampires themselves at their 21st birthday. Artemis was furious with this forced transformation, but his friend- a mere peasant boy whose parents abused and neglected- embraced the transformation instantly. It took Artemis twenty years to come to terms with his new self, but by then his friend was increasing the number of vampires in the land by ten to twenty people per year- some of them were abducted Cillians and a few willing Morganians. Artemis demanded this insane increase in vampire populace to stop, but after his parents and sister were sacrificed by a Morganian, he had no choice but to run away and try and find a solution to neutralize the populace of Nightwalkers- of which he called them in front of his insane friend and the name stuck today. Artemis moved into Fortuna City when it was recently founded and was shocked that some Nightwalkers and Morganians followed him, only to try and kill him once they found him. He was rescued by a Cillian warlock and his human bride- the original owner of the pendant which was a present from the warlock to his wife. Artemis struggled to fit into society for another twenty years when his new friend's wife was left for dead by a Morganian. Before she died, she told Artemis to protect her children and their children and guard the pendant with his life. It was then he founded the Daylight vampires and forged an alliance with the Cillian witches. To this day, he lives in silence and holding true to his promise.

Her hair is about two inches past the waist and her eyes are freakishly feral green. She also has a small bust in spite of her age. She wears white when she works her magic, but is seen in the house wearing an exotic komono and her hair tied up in a very tight braid. She wears an amethyst amulet at all times, since it's one of the few items she uses to channel her powers.

She put her healing and mind-cleansing magic in this amulet.
Skills/Powers: she's an herbal healer and can help people remember things. Her main element is basic water magic, but also has a trace of dark magic at her disposal when the occasion calls for it. Believe it or not, she's also a martial artist- courtesy of Artemis, who taught her everything he knew.
Personality: she's calm at first, but don't be fooled by her innocent appearance. If you're in need of healing or have trouble remembering something, Mia will gladly help. If you're a foe, she'll just poison you and watch you die. She's a little obsessive-compulsive around her own house. Everything has to be right where she left it or you're in for a terrible beating from a woman like Mia.
History: Mia is the only daughter of Morganian parents. When she first met Artemis, she was ten years old and living the life of a Morganian. She was close to turning him in to her parents when she saw that he was wounded and needed an antidote for a poison that could kill any vampire within three hours time. She snuck him to her secret healing hut and patched him up, then realized that she could do something different. The two struck a friendship and an alliance up, converting Mia into a Cillian. When her parents found out about this secret friendship, they kicked her out of the house and that was the end of her family life. She moved in to Artemis's house and vowed eternal alligiance to him. She now lives with Artemis as a thanks for saving his life.

Personality: Leya is kind of nervous and shy. She doesn't like to fight and tries to talk things out. Leya hates to be touched. Touching her will most likely result in being kicked or slapped. Her favorite thing to do in the world is draw. She has pictures of Ubee all around her room. She has abandonment issues and doesn't trust easily. She likes country and pop music.

History: Leya moved from New York, New York when her grandmother died. When her and her mother got there she received the family heirloom- a beautiful pendant. Leya's father left them when she was 13. She has abandonment issues and doesn't trust easily because of that. Leya's hair is red it she had it dyed blonde, but went back to natural. Leya gets picked on a lot because her dad was black and she is dark with blue eyes and red hair.

He has a slight scar above his left eye from a fist fight he was in. He wears mostly lighter colors ranging from greens, yellow, and blues. He almost looks like a gypsy, he also seems to enjoy wearing anklets and wrist bands the anklets to accentuate his muscular calves of which he is rather proud and he wears the wrist bands just to be matching.

Skills/Powers: (what element you have- witches only- or skills you're best at- vampires and witches. 50 words minimum) Water is his element and illusion is his skill. He can also heal wounds and cure disease with a touch. He has extensive combat skill but keeps them very secretive. He also has a gift for singing that can lull anyone into a sense of serenity and calm.

He uses his arrogance to mask his own nervousness. He's deeply afraid of being alone, and he often fills where ever he is with music and laughter.

Little is known about Alphonse his family mysteriously disappeared and he was left in their cabin home in the forest. A coven of witches took him in and taught him in their ways he showed an affinity for the water magics but was more interested in performance magic and parlor tricks. He left the coven saying farewell to his surrogate family and set off to find his destiny as he left his surrogate mother gave him a pendant. It was a simple tear drop shaped stone but it seemed as though at the center you could see the water of every ocean always moving. His mother told him to hold it close in times of great danger, that it would protect him and that should he ever need to find safe haven it shall draw him to those that are sympathetic to his safety. Over the years he has found it allows him to draw upon ancient knowledge of the coven and others that were servants of the great element water.

Up for love: (yay or nay, and what orientation) He is up for love and straight but seems to flirt with people regardless of gender.

Other: (anything we need to know) Alphonse doesn't think of using his element of water in magic as controlling it but as entering into an agreement with it. Also when he sleeps he gives of a strange light that cast patterns on his surroundings like moonlight off water.

Name: Raif Drevin

Age: Appears late teens early twenties. Actual age 906

Eye Colour: Varies. Normally ice blue. Turns black when he is angry or in the heat of battle.

Hair Colour: White. Raif keeps his hair cut relatively short, it is always windblown and wild.

Dress: Most commonly black cotton pants, grey shirt, red silk vest, black leather boots and a long black leather coat. His broadsword is golden in colour with a black pommel inlaid with white diamonds and red rubies. His long knives are as pale as the moonlight except for a scarlet filligre inlaid on the handles which resembles tiny rivers of blood running down the length of the handles.

Race: Vampire

Skills/Powers: Raif is an extremely skilled hunter and tracker. His stealth makes him an excellent assassin, a profession which he has at some points pursued. He is also a fearsome warrior in open combat, wielding a five foot broadsword with grace and precision. He also carries two long knives strapped to his back which he uses to speed through a vast group of enemies. While he is not able to control people's minds, he does posses an intense charisma and is able to overcome most minds by simply looking majestic and speaking seductively.

History: Little is known about Raif's early life. It is however known that he has lived alone in the woods for most, if not all of his life. There are rumours of a terrible and deadly past, as he was and is an assassin. There are also rumours that he may be much older than he says and that he may possess secrets that have been forgotten. He once had a family, a wife and children, but no one knows what happened to them, it is rumoured that he killed them. He skills in battle and the way he carries himself suggest that he was once a high ranking warrior, but on whose side he fought is unknown.

Personality: Gruff though not short-tempered, Raif is an assassin and acts as such, keeping a cool head always and staying in control of his emotions, which he rarely, if ever, shows.

Raif is a rogue Vampire who lives in the forests and most normally keeps to himself. However, the war of the Pendant has brought him out of hiding and he must now choose to which side he will pledge his allegiance. Raif is commonly seen in the cities and towns as he often hires himself out as an assassin, though no one has seen him in open combat. He is bisexual, not limiting his attractions to one gender but, as of yet, romance has not played a major role in his life.

Name: Carmine Lockwood

Gender: Male

Age : 32 (Actual age 540)

Alliance: Nightwalker-Morganian (Is a Nightwalker, possible leader?)

Appearance: White hair, black eyes, dark skin. He is slender like any vampire and has an dark aurora around him. He has a evil grin. He walked like a soldier. Never seen in light clothes, like dark tight clothes. Sometimes doesn't even wear a shirt. Wear the expensive kind of dress shoes. He carries around with him, two daggers that are concealed. They are plain, but slender and no one who has faced them been able to live to tell where were hidden.

Skills/Powers: He is handy with his daggers, is stealthy and like to be in the shadows. Is good with words. Is compelling, but isn't one to be the negotiator, rather kill than ask questions later. But he isn't dumb, he is intelligent.

Personality: Likes the dark, and is obsessed with finding the pendant. He has followers but he doesn't keep anyone too close, he learned his lesson about friends. He isn't one to be the talker unless he sees an advantage to it. He'd rather sit in the background and watch what is unfolding and come in his own terms and do his business. He is merciless. He will kill whenever he finds it necessary. He likes the sight of blood but he doesn't like the sight of tears. He doesn't like to show his emotions, he believe emotions show a sign of weakness. He'd rather avoid showing his weaknesses.

History: Exactly 540 years ago he was a normal 34 year old man. He was a farmer and had a lovely wife and twin girls. They were his pride and joy. Then while he was fishing one day after dark a woman came up to him, he couldn't deny her. She was beautiful and he didn't have the power to resist, she seduced him to make love to her by the riverside and she bit him. He laid there for 3 days, in agony, nobody could find him. When he awoke he felt alive, but also hungry. He went to find food, aka blood, and who did he run into except his own family. His wife and twin daughters ran up to him and in his blood hunger he slaughter them all and drank their blood. Afterwards he couldn't believe himself and in agony went to find the woman who changed him. It took him 200 years to find her, searching all over the world but he finally did, and in his built up anger he managed to kill her, turning himself into a Nightwalker. He hated the world and for what he did to his family but he couldn't do anything about it. Then he heard about the Pendant and the thought of such power consumed him, he wanted it!

Up for love: Nay, he doesn't have time for love, he will always love his family and he doesn't think he'll another.

Name: Tate Coley
Gender:Male

Age : 19
Alliance: none

Appearance: Heavy eyeliner and several piercings in his eyebrow, a ring in his lip and has both his ears pierced. He has startling violet eyes, shoulder length, hazel hair, and he wears a short sleeved band tee under a sweatshirt with the sleeves pulled up, along with black skinny jeans and combat boots. He has a tattoo of an eagle on his right arm, and a bracelet tattoo on his left wrist.

Skills/Powers:He's really good at fencing-sword fighting, and is specially trained in martial arts for hand-to-hand combat.
Personality: Tate loves anything dark, but has a light side since he also loves to prank. He dislikes things bright and cheery, like his old highschool classmates, especially since he was transformed. His real pet peeve is people talking about him behind his back.

History: Tate was goth before, but was really emo after he was turned half a century ago. His entire childhood he was taunted and teased because his parents left him on the streets, and he spent his entire life bouncing from foster home to foster home. When he was younger, around 13-15, he cut, and he still even has some scars. He doesn't like talking about his past with his abusive guardians, but will talk if he's pressed enough. He always set himself out from the crowd on purpose, mostly, but it was partly because he knew there was no way they would accept him. When he was turned, he dropped out of school and ran away, taking residence in a small apartment on the outskirts of town.

Other: His "sacred charm" is the anklet he wears around his ankle, since it's the only thing his parents gave him before they left him. He always keeps it hidden, but tends to flash it from time to time.

Name: Aelerwin Melenthas

Alliance: Morganian
Appearance:Aelerwin stands about 5'10'', he is skin and bone thin, he is really pale all the time, he wears tight fitting black clothing and mirror sunglasses, and his hair is black with white highlights. he has a belt with a sheath that holds a small knife inlaid with a stone his twin sister, Emmagine, loved.
Skills/Powers: He has the ability to melt into the shadows, becoming unpercievable to anyone else, while he can still see them. He can also send out poison through magic, which kills within 10 minutes of recieving it, though there is a cure. Basically, control over poisonous materials (not sure what element that is) and minor shadow manipulation
Personality: Aelerwin is a very dark, reclusive, and overall depressing person. He only ever trusted his sister, but she died before her time, and this caused him to become very depressed, which resulted in his carefree nature, just trying to live without his twin. His only trustworthy friend right now is a wolf he named after his sister, and he has a bond with his wolf that is like the one he had with his sister.
History: When he was 7, he was abused by a stranger,and he accidentally killed him magically. after that, he has been wary of strangers. 7 years later to the day, his sister died when their little hut they had built caught on fire. When he had woken coughing, he found his sister dead and had just laid back down to try and die with her, but the wolf he soon grew a bond with pulled him out of the house just in time. He always blames himself for her death, as he "should have tended to the fire as it had started", but he never again tried to die. A year later he joined the Morganians, and quickly flew through the ranks. this brings us to where he is today, a proud member of the Morganians.

Name: Drayden Underhill

Gender: Male

Age : 19

Alliance: Daylight-Cillian

Appearance: He has black hair with white streaks above his ears. He is normally seen hunched over wearing a trench coat with black jeans. His appearance gives the look of a shady character, despite the fact of his alliance. This also makes it hard for him to help people when they need it because they tend to be a litte frightened of him.

Skills/Powers: Sword fighting had always been a specialty of Draydens. He fights with a wicked sythe that has a dragon head engraved on the handle, spitting flames. He is also very good with sneaking in and out of the shadows, going unnoticed. He has an inhuman ability of running at unbelivable speeds, he is capable of beating any racecar that challenges him. When his adrenaline gets pumping, and he has a target, there is no escape hatch.

Personality: Drayden used to be an easy-going guy before his family and entire town was destroyed by a fire. Now he refuses to get into a close relationship with anyone for fear of losing them as he once lost his family. Now he wanders along paths, either looking for a job that catches his interest, or hunting deer, squirrels (he loves his squirrels) or birds. He has sworn to personally kill any thief or evildoer...especially murderers.

History: The fire that took his family also took out anything living off that side of the mountain. Fortunately for him, his mom put him in the well before he could get harmed, he was only five when it happened. He cried and wailed in the well for days, there were only fish in the well so he caught the fish and ate them raw. There was plenty of water in the well at the time. After four days, he was found by his grandparents who had heard the news and were searching for bodies to bury. They heard him shrieking for help in the well and found him, skin and bone. His grandfather (or, Papa) got him out of the well, his grandma (or Gaga) was so happy he was alive, that she cried the rest of the way to their house. From that point on he was spoiled rotten, he got whatever he wanted, even if he screamed for it. That is, until they died. They owed a great deal of money to some men, because they had been borrowing money from them. When Papa told them they didn't have enough money to pay them back, they slit his throat. Gaga screamed and ran out of the house with Drayden. She fled to an orphanage, dropped him off, kissed his forhead, and ran. She ran to keep Drayden safe, although he never understood that until many years later.

Name: Lazarus James

Age: Looks 17. Is actually 17.

Eye Colour: Brown, the usual normal brown.

Hair Colour: Blonde, that sort of blonde that when you lie next to your pet Labrador you can't tell where your hair starts and their fur ends.

Dress: Expensive tuxedos, he never wears anything else.

Alliance:Nightwalker - Morganian

Race: Vampire

Skills/Powers: As the son of a business man, Lazarus knows how to manipulate people. Coincidentally, as he was recently turned his power only enhanced this, so now he can make people pretty much do as he wishes. One of his weaker inherent abilities from being turned is that he can sense people's weaknesses, though it's not always accurate. It helps especially when he wants to blackmail someone. He is fit, but he is not trained in any official martial arts; he, however, excels in street-fighting - the dirtiest, cheap-shot fighting imaginable, but effective.

History: His mother died when he was born. Lazarus' father was a dirty business man. Sir Erik, his father, was in cahoots with the evil-side, afterall you'll always need business men even when there aren't any humans. Turned long ago, Erik had raised his son, Lazarus, to be a replica of himself. And he succeeded. Actually, he did too well. On his fifteenth birthday, Lazarus killed his father and took up the family business. Since then Lazarus had ties to almost any nasty business you can think of, from assassinations to drugs. On his sixteenth birthday, he took over the Morganian's as leader. On his seventeenth birthday, he was turned.

Personality: Lazarus is as cold-hearted as they come, but with a large grin of delight. He takes great joy in murder and the dirtier deeds his company works in. Lazarus exudes that false warmth that gives you shivers and goosebumps. He has an intense dislike for anyone who thinks they are good. For he knows that deep down all humans and "good people" alike would eventually become exactly like him, in the right circumstances. Lazarus embraces sin, for that's all existence ever is.

So when do we start? I'm itching for a good storybook.

Patience, SkyeDragon. We'll begin soon. Light_Devil!, it's fine with me that Lazarus can be the leader. However, you must add that he has a great dislike for Artemis- the leader of the Daylight-Cillian group. And the slot of alliance in Lazarus' case is Nightwalker-Morganian.
