H.E.R.O. and H.I.V.E.

Jerica HIVE

I knew that this would be easy to do, "Should I start now?" Renn nodded and I started from the water coming down the waterfall, I took a thin layer of it and made it cover the entire opening of the cave.

It was difficult for me but I started bring bands of water to surround the layer closest to us. After thirty or so bands were made I did something that I'd never attempted before. I pulled all of the water left over over the entire waterfall, the river leading to it, the cliffs on the other face and even under ground.

"There, they most likely won't get to us now." I clapped my hands which were wet from water.

One raised her eyebrows, "How are they going to get through this?"

"Sooner or later the shifters will turn into fish. Unless someone uses their fire."

Charlotte Drakes HERO

Stepping out from the cover of the side of the building, a mixture of anger and embarrassment flooded Charlotte. She turned to Danny and Nemesis before they could say anything.
"It seems I've made a mistake." She said as calmly as she possibly could.
The people she thought were Circe and her captors were mere HERO students with ailments of sorts from the pursuit.
"The trail didn't stop here as I assumed." She told her teammates.
She morphed back into wolf form and began running again, chasing the smell of ash instead. The scent was antagonizing, making Char feel stupid for not thinking of this before. Of course, they'd try and cover Circe's tracks. They didn't want anyone following them.
She grunted and dug her paws into the ground, stopping. Her eyes darted to a waterfall and realized that this was it. The trail ended here.
Danny and Nemesis caught up like earlier and came to the same conclusion.
"There." Danny whispered, pointing to the thickest part of the fall.
Char morphed human again and leaned against one of the trees, trying to figure it out as he did.
"You wouldn't happen to be able to manipulate water, would you?" She asked either of them. "I'd rather not get wet this evening."

Ei Chase-

Ei ran through the campus, aggravated that she had to be on scene for some stupid game.

"Where are you," she asked Two.

Where... uh... We're... uh... What?

Two was still a bit dazed about Renn grabbing her hand. No one ever showed her that much compassion, not even Ei. Ei growled at Two's sudden inability to reply and switched to One.

"One, where are you guys?"

Around some lake or whatever, I'm not sure of the exact location, but it's around water.

"Okay, I'll be there soon."

Ei closed her eyes and took a deep breath before shooting clones four, five, and six from her body, just in case they needed the extra help.

Two-

"So that.. that...-"

"Water wall," One finished with a roll of her eyes. Two blushed and nodded.

"The water wall will protect us?"

"For some time, yes," Jerica answered, a satisfied smirk on her lips.

"That's really cool," Two mused, studying the water closer.

"You act like you've never seen water before," One scoffs.

"Well, Ms. Ei doesn't let me out as much as you!"

"Can you two just shut up," Three sighs, playing with her hair idly. One scoffs and turns her back on the group and Two just looks down, frowning slightly. Suddenly there's a rustling in the trees behind them and the whole group turns, ready to fight. Ei enters the clearing with her hands raised and a small smirk on her lips.

"We come in peace," she laughs, rolling her eyes. One, Two, and Three quickly bow and mutter, in unison, a quick greeting of "Hello, Ms. Ei."

Three more clones come out of the brush but Ei directs them to go back and secure the perimeter. They nod and run off, leaving only four Ei's.

"So," she drawls, "what are we doing here?"

"Keeping her," Renn gestures towards Circe who is still struggling beside Three, "away from HERO."

"So we just keep her safe until..."

"Until the game is over."

"Which is when?"

"Not sure."

Ei nods and takes a place on the ground.

"I think they should be coming soon anyway," Jerica adds. "It won't be long now."

"Good," Ei smiles, "because it's been a while since I've had a good fight."

Danny Dapperly- HERO

Danny told Nemesis and Charlotte to stay behind before wandering towards a massive source of discord in the song of nature. As he walked forward he came upon a glade and collapsed to his knees. Danny looked about at the glade it disgusted him it was a violation of all that was write in nature. Looking about he decided something must be done he drew his lute and began to pluck a few chords and sing. He looked about and saw the glade undergo a transformation. Danny realized that the HIVE members must have been hiding somewhere here and that the sudden scene change would draw their attention.

He decided to communicate with his teams using his mind. Ahem ladies and gentlemen I have located the HIVE team, and likely Circe I would love some back up if it would please you all. Danny then grabbed a rapier with his right hand and a cutlass with his left. He noticed then the shimmer of ice behind the waterfall in the glade.

Danny then called out in a mocking tone to the cave, "Little pig little pigs let me in, or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in." Danny then created a tornado and slammed it against the wall of ice, he could hear it crack. "That's just a taste of my power please don't make me take you out all by myself."

Renn Ariyal: HIVE

Renn was distracted, he circled the glade carefully, moving through thin curtains of water until he found the spot where he usually slept beneath the willow tree. There was a strange scent in the air, one he knew, one that shouldn't be there. The scent of feathers and mountain scoured winds was as familiar to him as his own. But Prize was in the Weir-world, how could his scent be here in this glade?
In this dimension that was nothing but a pale imitation to his home.

He crouched down and turned over a stone as the HERO team made the first strike against their defenses. Renn ignored Danny's taunting voice as he pulled an object out of the hole. It was a thin sheet of paper with just two words on it. "I'm sorry." Renn's heart stuttered with dread as he caught a fainter scent beneath Prize's and it was tinged with blood. Is was the smell of sunlight and flower strewn fields.

He reached once more into the hole and drew out a necklace made of shining white unicorn hair, the pendant was a tiny crystalline nub, or horn so small it hadn't even gained it's spiral edge. It was his little sister, Mari's, horn. A sob caught in Renn's throat and the note crumpled in his hands. Reverently he lifted the rope over his head and turned to face his enemies.

Rage quickly joined his grief. All Renn knew was that his sister was dead and someone was going to pay for it. But in order to do that first he had to end this stupid contest. Playtime was over.

*Renn isn't exactly stable right now, be careful of provoking him or rules or no rules you'll get burned.*

Tony Matthews HERO

Tony ran through the forest to where he felt the water strongest. He thought he was heading for the shore, but that was quickly turned around once he stopped and found himself near a sparkling waterfall.
He spotted three of his teammates whispering about something and crept over, making his entrance.
"Hey, it's you." He said about Danny. "I'm guessing this is a planning party."
The wolfish girl glared at him before crossing her arms and straightening her composure.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"Tony Matthews." He introduced. "I don't believe I know you," His eyes dart from her to the pale, red eyed boy, "or you."
"Char." She responded. "And that's Nemesis. What exactly can you bring to this 'planning party'?"
"Water."
Tony grinned, cocky.

Danny Dapperly- HERO

Danny had just returned when Tony had walked up and started talking to them. Danny's mind started working over time and he came up with a plan, "So you can manipulate water? You are precisely the man I was looking for." He walked over to Tony and slapped him on the shoulder. "Now Tony I could easily destroy their wall of ice and water just create a recurring circuit of wind but I would have trouble fighting while keeping it open for reinforcements. So I need it moved the four of us then could easily take them out. What do you say?"

Tony's eyes lit up it seemed to Danny as though this was right up his alley. "Sounds like child's play but what's the plan from there?" Danny chuckled here was where he, Charlotte and Nemesis came in.

"Well first i want you to find that Renn kid and douse him in water that should make his fire powers a little harder to use focus on him your fire should be able to counter his fire, well hopefully. While Renn is distracted Charlotte, Nemesis, and I will find Circe and take down her guards. Perfectly simple."

*HERO members should recall they have two goals, they have too rescue Circe, and recapture Renn.*

Nemesis Crystalheart~~~~~HERO

Nemesis shot a pebble at Danny's head from behind. "No chance, Daniel. I don't go by anyone's terms except my own. If you want me to take out the guards, count me out. I go by my own terms, thank you."
The others looked at Nemesis in shock, surprised that he spoke up like that.
He turned around and went as far from the waterfall as possible. Once he was far enough to be out of sight range, he shifted in a dragon. He knew- just by seeing Renn shift from human to unicorn- that he wasn't the only shapeshifter in the student body. He decided to scare the HIVE students away from Circe so the others could catch Renn. This was a better idea than taking out guards.

Danny Dapperly- HERO

Fine Danny thought defiance was tolerable, "Go for it Nemesis go your way and we'll work on ours." Danny looked at Tony, "well I still want that water gone." Danny grabbed his swords, "Nemesis I hate to say it but the minute it opens right through the opening. So let's get this done."

Tony nodded and parted the water, " well let's hurry it up. Renn could be running at me at any second." Suddenly Nemesis flew through the opening stunnign us all by revealing his dragon form. Tony looked at him, "Well Nemesis sure isn't hesitating, he probably won't need us."

Danny ran through the opening fast as the wind. He quickly pinned his enemies down throwing darts fast as possible at the corner of their clothes. He grabbed Circe and ran back through the opening. He communicated to the rest of the rescue team via telepathy, I have Circe, and am leaving her with Charlotte I'll be back in to help in a second.

Renn Ariyal: HIVE

Renn sneezed, the scent of brimstone and sulfur was suddenly strong in the air. No longer masked by human scent. Suddenly the wall of water parted and Renn heard Jerica grunt as she tried to close it, caught in a contest of wills with whoever had opened the thing.

But Renn had bigger problems he realized as the dragon dove through the opening. He roared, shooting a jet of fire into the sky and raked the air with visciously sharp talons. Obviously he thought he was very impressive and scary but to Renn he just wasn't all that impressive. The drake was barely larger than a wolf.

"His beast form is even younger then mine." Renn thought gleefully as he dashed across the clearing and leaped at the dragon. His arms crossed in front of him and in a move that would have done his Uncle proud he seized hold of the dragons wings and gently tugged down and out.

It was a warning. One the other Weir instinctively understood. If Renn pulled hard enough he could break the wings, or even rip them off entirely if he was strong enough. The dragon froze in place not daring to move for fear of applying that pressure himself. But that didn't stop his tail from rising up behind and lashing across Renn's back.

Renn clenched his teeth as the drake carved lines of fire across his back. It was an old familiar tactic. One the dragon children who had bullied him had used often. And Renn was used to it. He held his breath, waiting to see what the dragon would do next. Small though the drake was, the others wouldn't be able to handle him. They would know his weak points, or his strengths.

Nemesis Crystalheart~~~~~~~~HERO

Deep down inside him, Nemesis was ticked off and cursing himself for the size of his dragon form. He hardly used this form since most of his many foster families couldn't handle raising a child that can become a dragon at his own free will. He growled deeply at Renn. Now you've asked for it, pony boy. No one touches my wings without my consent. In a rage, he swung his tail to challenge Renn. He ran to make Renn chase him.

Tony

Tony held the water against the pull of the other elemental. He'd never used so much power, but it seemed to be tingling through his veins in plethora. There was a constant tug at his gut and it was beginning to make him nauseous.
Opening his eyes, he saw the water both from the fall and in the river parted like the red sea. He smiled, delirious from the power battle. His opponent was one of the girls he'd seen earlier. I thought she had a snake... Then he saw the duplicates of another familiar villain. Or maybe it was one of them.
He shook his head to clear his mind and refocused on the task at hand. Charlotte was behind him, in her wolf form, which Tony couldn't seem to get serious about because it reminded him of the little red pony. Well, he really isn't little... And I'm pretty sure he's not a pony. He's dangerous too..
Tony blinked a few times and regained his concentration. Danny was...well, he honestly didn't know. And Nemesis...he was a dragon now. I'd kill to be a dragon... Even a pony.
"Tony!" Charlotte shouted. "What are you doing?"
He shook his head again and saw that he was losing grip. Clenching his fists, he gained it back, still playing tug of war with water.

Jerica HIVE

Waterboy was strong, about thirty times as strong as me, but I was smarter and I had different powers. I could control two elements at once so for a split second I let go of my hold on the water.

He grinned widely, but the smile vanished as he dropped into the ground. I mentally pushed a slab of rock over his head, sealing him off. Now the water was all mine. I hoped that dragon kid didn't eat Renn in the process.

Renn Ariyal: HIVE

The little dragon thought he could seperate Renn from the others. What a fool. Renn stood his ground and grinned as he poked at the one button guaranteed to make the boy lose his temper. His pride.

Maybe if Renn hadn't found out about Mari he would have chosen a somewhat safer method. But his own temper was up and the prey was audibly still alive. "Where do you think you're going little one?" He shouted after the dragon's retreating back. "Not that I blame you for running away, you're barely more than a hatchling!"

As insults went it wasn't much of one. But dragons couldn't stand being made fun of. Something Renn knew from experience. The drake froze in place for all of one second before whirling around and charging Renn. Who swore and leaped to the side.

He barely dodged, the wind of Nemisis' passage brushed against his clothes. "Red flag. Bull."
