Missing Features?

The following features are going to be added over the next two weeks:
- Quote / word of the week
- Featured story / poem of the week
- Featured member

Other than that, I have no plans for others. However, if there is enough user demand, I will add back the Friends mod, which was similiar to MySpace. So if there are missing features that you liked in the old YWS, let me know here. You can also use this thread to ask for additional features.

I couldn't find the portfolio thing from the user IDs last time I looked.. maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place, but.. are they there?

I assume I'll still be doing word of the week?

Uh... is the points system still running?

^ I've noticed that sometimes a user's points are displayed under their country/location...and sometimes they're not? Is there a reason for this, or is it a bug or something?

I'll address each:

Points: Your points will only show up in forums where you can earn them. That's not a mistake, but it is something I would like to fix. Also, the entire system is going to be overhauled and will be reset to 500 every two weeks. I'll have more information on that soon.

Matt ->> If you want it again, it's all yours! You did a great job with it last time.

KJ ->> If you click the button next to a user's name in any topic, that'll take you to the portfolio. I have not yet put that link in the profile, though I will soon.

The smilies all disappeared! Looks like Mr. Green's the only added one that survived.

I'm not entirely sure about bringing back all of the smilies 'cause it was getting crazy there with the hundreds that YWS had.

I think I'll miss the guy catching the chicken. XD

Yeah, they weren't really that important. I think we're fine with the one we have now.

EDIT: Is there anyway to have a page jump? Like in the Proving Grounds

The friends things was nice, because then it was easier to PM people, but... um... after getting fifty bazillion friends, it became kind of a hassle. XD
