Collin Green
(Day 2; night; party)

Collin emerged from Linda's room with flushed cheeks. Why had Lindsay ran away like that? Collin was younger than her, but most people liked him. How could she be that embarassed? Maybe it was because her friends didn't like him. Collin himself was embarassed, not because he was caught with Lindsay, but because certain parts of his body would not relax. He rushed towards the bathroom, hoping that nobody noticed, and knocked on the door.

A small voice answered from within. And then he heard the sound of retching.

He forgot about his problem for a second. "You alright in there?"

There was a sound of muffled tears. "Mmmhmmm."

"I'm coming in," he said before pushing open the door.

Ryn, the smart girl from his music class, had her head bent over the toilet, her dark hair covering her eyes. Her hands were shaking, and she didn't look up at Collin, just said, "I'm fine. Had a little too much to drink."

She started throwing up again, and Collin grabbed her hair so that it didn't get drenched in the acidic substance issuing forth from her mouth. He barely knew the girl but couldn't just let her keep going like that. Eventually, she stopped, and feebly stood up. "Thanks," she muttered.

"No problem," he said, as she pushed past him and out into the hallway.

Well, he thought. At least my problem went away.

And he went in search of Lindsay.

Mia James

Mia couldn’t help but blush when Cameron had told her that she looked beautiful. She could hear the girls cooing behind her, making her roll her eyes in amusement. Cameron was obviously drunk. He was even trying to kiss her...

A smirk played on Mia’s lips as she watched him slowly lean down to catch her lips.

“Go on, kiss him, Mia!” Chelsea shouted.

Jen cheered in unison. “Yeah, we dare you!”

“But, look at him, he’s wasted,” Mia giggled.

“Jus' a little bit...” Cameron whispered. He was now only inches away from her lips.

“A dare’s a dare, Mia...” Sophie joined in, clearly enjoying this - which was, after all, what Mia wanted all along. It was why she brought her to the party in the first place. So she could forget about Scott.

“Fine,” Mia conceded, “but only because Sophie asked...”

With that, she allowed Cameron’s lips to softly come in contact with his.

“Booo!” jeered Chelsea. “We want a real kiss!”

She felt Cameron smile into the kiss before he pulled away. There was a mischievous glimmer in his eyes as he looked down at her. One that Mia knew all too well. “Shall we?” he asked with his trademark cheeky smirk.

Why not, thought Mia. Her and Cameron were always play-flirting with each other, so what harm could a simple make out session do? After all, Cameron was so drunk he probably wouldn’t even remember any of it in the morning.

“Okay, but you better not touch my ass,” she grounded out.

She could hear the girls cheering and wolf-whistling as Cameron set his hands on her hips and pulled her closer, deepening their kiss.

"Keg stand! Keg stand! Keg stand!"

I couldn't peel my eyes away from the 100 pound blonde chugging Guinness upside down out of a foaming tap. It was the most entertaining shiz going on so far and so I kept my place near the coffee table with a bottle of Bacardi pressed warm between my palms.

I couldn't tell for sure how long we'd been here. One hour or three. One thing I did know was that I wasn't nearly drunk enough; not yet.

"And when I was twelve I broke my ankle playing soccer, can you believe it? Four bones in two years," some random Jessica went on in aimless conversation.

I turned my head to glance at her for a second. She seemed sadly sober. Far too coherent to be paying a tipsy fool like me any attention. I rolled my eyes. "Honestly, I've no idea what you've been going on about the past ten minutes, but look at that chick go." I pointed to the blondie struggling to fall from her kegstand. Pure and utter talent in a 110 pound package.

Jessica seemed unammused. I was soon left sitting alone again. For about 2.5 seconds. That's when another --drunker-- girl came stumbling beside me, flopping clumsily onto the couch and into my lap. Her eyes lit up as her hair fell in tangled heaps across her face. Was there anything more attractive eight drinks into the night? I held her chin between my thumb and index finger.

"Miss, you've gone and spilled the contents of your plastic cup on my jeans. I couldn't imagine a ruder thing." Odd enough, I was being part serious.

Her smile softened into a pouty smirk as she bent her head onto my knee to sip up some of the splattered Guinness from my Levi's. "It's fine. Don't be a priss, Christian."

I raised an eyebrow. "Where'd you steal my name?"

"Everyone knows your name, Christian." Was good enough for me.

I leaned forward and pressed my lips to Miss No-name.

Jen Pedersen
Day 2 (night; party)

Jen was bored. The group had somehow split up, and she had been left to aimlessly wander around. She had a drink or two but not a lot. She didn't want her blood sugar to get too high. Instead, she found a different substitute.

Some guy handed her a dubee(sp?), and she didn't deny it. She was giddy, and she inhaled and exhaled, inhaled and exhaled. The world spun around her.

She felt like she forgot something. She had, in fact. That was to take insulin. But it was too late. She was already unconscious. People continued dancing around her, oblivious.

Briar Leeson

Briar and Eben took a seat on the stairs just before the courtyard. There were a few people out in the yard, most couples making out on random benches, but for the most part it was quiet, although the echoing sounds of the party could still be heard from the house.

For a moment they sat in silence, not looking at each other--staring out into the courtyard at nothing in particular. Things between them constantly teetered. Often, they were still good friends. Sometimes, they fought like bitter exes. But either way, they only did it because they both secretly thought they should still be together.

"What are you doing here?" Briar led. After all, it was a high school party and he was no longer in high school.

Eben shook his head and squished an ant on the stair with his sneaker, "Just here for the fun."

Briar turned to him quickly, "And that's....all...right?

Eben's eyebrow raised as he looked at Briar. He knew exactly what she meant of course, but wasn't about to indulge her. He said nothing. Briar sighed and looked away. She didn't enjoy being taunted.

She leaned back on the stair, "Look...Mia said she had some concerns about you and drugs." Briar turned to wait for his answer--she needed to see his face to correctly gauge him. Eben quickly turned away, again staring at the invisible, yet amazing, nothing in the courtyard. Briar took a deep breath, "It's true, isn't it?"

Eben snapped himself in her direction, "So what if it is? What difference does it make to you?"

Briar snapped up as well, coming closer to him, "Because, Eben, you could get in serious trouble! This is a high school party with kids, Eben! That's like, serious time.

"You don't have the right to care about this anymore, Briar. You broke up with me, remember?"

"That does not mean I don't still care about you. God!" He was right, though. She was the one that called it off. Briar was, and is, not exactly herself when she broke up with Eben. She thought she was having a hard enough time taking care of herself, thought she couldn't be a proper girlfriend. This wasn't a new thing for her, but the day before they broke up she found out she was pregnant. She knew she couldn't handle that. "That was a jerk thing to say."

Briar found her own invisible magnificent to stare at in the courtyard this time. Eben was silent for a moment and sighed before sliding a little closer to her, "You're right, I'm sorry."

"Is it Conley?"

"Briar..."

"Eben, is it or is it not Conley?"

His silence gave her the answer.

"Damnit, Eben. Could you have picked a worse supplier? Out of all the people we know, you pick him?"

"He let me keep the highest percent of the cut. He's the only one that made it worth it."

Briar shook her head and thought for a moment before answering, "Eben, you have to get out from under him. He will screw you over faster than you can blink, and you know that! This has to be your last batch from Conley." She pointed her green hues his direction in a 'puppy eyes' manner, "and for God sakes, stop selling to minors."

Eben didn't protest but didn't agree either. Although Briar took this as a good sign and pretty much trusted him not to keep selling at the party, she wasn't 100% sure he wouldn't do it.

"Thanks." She smiled and they had a quick hug. Briar had a abundance of friends in low places, and had gained an excellent ability to pickpocket from these friends in the past few years. When they hugged, she slipped the bag of weed out of Eben's front pocket and put it in her own.

They said nothing else to each other but shared a silent moment before Briar headed back towards with the house, a nasty half-full beer still in her hand as she entered through the back door.

Chelsea Fanney

Chelsea seperated herself from the girls. She was hanging out with a small group of guys in the kitchen, drinking shots. She already had two beers and four shots but she just couldn't stop. She didn't know how it happen but she ended up making out with one of the guys from the kitchen and they were in the living room. A group of girls were staring at them, no doubt planning to spread rumors about Chelsea. She pushed the guy away from her.

"See you tomorrow Devin." Chelsea almost fell to the ground.

"What the ..." She didn't finish her sentence before seeing what she tripped over.

"Hey, Jen. What the hell are you doing on the floor?" She asked, her words kind of slurring.

"Jen?" Chelsea sat down on the floor next to Jen. She threw her beer across the room, hitting the group of girls she saw earlier. They spit curse words and threats to her. Chelsea placed her hands on Jen's face. She was out stone cold.

"Somebody help me!" Chelsea yelled.

There was a surprising lack of milk at this party. Don't get me wrong, booze was all well and good when you wanted to go home smelling like a dog's just pissed on you, but a bit of the white stuff would have gone down a charm. With a grunt, I slammed the fridge's door shut. I had no clue whose house this was, but whoever's it was needed to go shopping. Preferably milk shopping. God, I loved milk.

Something suddenly tugged on my arm, and I was spun around to face a blonde-haired girl. "Hey, you looking for some booze?"

Nope, just milk. "Nah, I'm good, thanks."

I tried to pull away, but this chick wasn't letting me go anywhere. Before I could even twitch, I felt a pair of lips--very chapped, if I may have added--slobber onto my own. How scrumptious. I quickly shoved her off me, and as my eyes glanced downwards, they froze. All I could do was stare.

Holy mackerel, how hadn’t I spotted them before? Were they swollen? I’m sorry, but they weren’t boobs. They were unnaturally large growths forming on her chest, possibly injected with steroids. She must have gotten some killer backache because of those twins. I mean, I was surprised they weren't suffocating the both of us. I narrowed my eyes slightly to get a better look. Boobs were something I’d never understood. I bet they were fun to have though: I mean, if I had myself a pair they’d keep me entertained all day. Oh, my God... and think of the milk... What I could never understand though was what guys saw in them. Two balls of fat with crusty looking bits at the front of them? Yum.

The girl pulled me forward again. "Let's go upstairs." Someone was eager.

As the chick tried to push herself onto me again, I shoved her away. "No thanks, bab." I looked her up and down. "Too much on top and not enough down below for my liking." I paused. "I would advise for you to get some lip balm though. Try Vaseline: it works a charm."

The chick stared at me, blatantly unaware of the meaning behind any of my words. Either that or she was too pissed to even realise I was speaking. Bless her. She was still gazing at me as I made my way out of the kitchen and into the living room. To my disappointment though, the living room had a lack of drunken girls with bangers the size of Alaska. Ah well. As I observed the room, I caught sight of the kid I'd met at school. Christian, was it? He had a girl flopped over him, which amused me. When I turned my eyes to the floor though, I spotted a pixie-haired girl cradling a girl who, I must admit, didn't look like she was having a whale of a time.

Before I could say or do anything else, out of nowhere came a hard thud on the back of my head. I landed with a bang onto the floor. My head turned to see a guy with the body shape of a brick standing above me with his teeth gnarled, and standing beside him was Miss-My-Womanly-Parts-Are-So-Huge-They-Could-Suffocate-Cuba. Oh, crap. The guy spoke.

"You been getting off with my girlfriend?"

No, but her boobs were busy trying to suffocate me a few minutes ago. It was a stupid question anyway because the peanut didn't even give me a chance to answer before he swung his arm back.

"Whoa! Mate, there's some chick on the verge of death or something over there!" I glanced towards what I was looking at before this peanut came along. "This really ain't a good time, you kn--"

His arm swung forward, and his fist soon welcomed my left eye.

Mia James

Cameron was nibbling at Mia’s ear when she felt her Blackberry vibrate. Opening up her clutch bag, she pulled it out and saw that it was Chelsea calling. The girls had somehow managed to separate from each other in the course of the party, and Mia assumed that Chelsea was either lost or just checking up on her.

“Don’t pick it up,” whispered Cameron cheekily.

Mia giggled and clamped his mouth with her free hand. She watched with amusement as he turned on his puppy dog eyes when she went to answer the call.

“Hey, Chelsea, what’s up?” Mia had to practically shout down the phone because the music was so loud in the background.

“Mia, you have to come, it’s Jen!” even over the blearing music, Mia could sense the worry in Chelsea’s voice. It sent a cold shiver down her spine.

“What’s happened, Chelsea? Is she alright? Where are you?” Mia was already moving through the crowd, concern flooding her face. Cameron followed after her in confusion.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked her.

“I think something’s happened to Jen,” Mia answered. She could no longer hear Chelsea’s voice on the other end of the line, and the possibilities of what could have happened to her friend made her bite her trembling bottom lip in fear. Frustrated, she turned to Cameron in desperation. “Please help me find her.”

Spoiler
I had intentions on posting this before Skins made a post, but since things didn't work out that way, I've edited it a smidgen so that it hopefully still works. xD

Even with my eyes closed, my head was still spinning. Half of me wanted to go to sleep. Another half was hungry as hell and dying for a number 3 off the In n' Out menu. An extra 50% of me was wishing that sweet green-eyed gal hadn't left me alone with no one to occupy my time in my inebriated state.

I hadn't seen Cameron anywhere in the past. . . -however long we'd been here. Though we tended to get lost in our own parties nine times out of ten whenever we came out together. I was starting to feel pretty shitty. Partly because I hadn't eaten anything the entire time I'd been drinking -- which meant I'd be headed down porcelain heaven sometime soon no doubt. But mostly because I couldn't even put names to faces with how many girls I'd been sharing lips with. Which was as good as calling me a man whore. . . Or just the man.

I could feel a tiny smile break across my face. The chaos around me continued to blur into gentle white noise as I sacked out in a recliner in the living room.

"Christian."

I heard my name. My mind seemed to smudge it up with the rest of the noise going on around me though. My body fought against opening my eyes, but I struggled to pinpoint the familiarity of the voice.

"I know you," I shrugged off in a low tone. My hand was reaching forward. Though I'm not sure why. Soon I felt an index finger hook around my pinky. Like a little shake hello. I smiled again. Man was I a happy drunk. My eyes continued to stay closed, until I felt the weight of the recliner shift abruptly. I decided to open my eyes.

"Preston." I could feel myself drifting from tired to alert again as I raised my hand for a loose slap hello. Hyper dude from Geometry was chillin' next to me. With. . . an enormous red mark swelling his left eye. "Have an unfriendly encounter with the wall?" The kid just chuckled.

"Having yourself a little piss up, mate?"

I laughed. "You talk funny. How do Brits get all the girls talking that way?"

He shrugged rapidly before sending a wink my way. "Cursed be us charming. But I don't swing that way, you see."

He spoke too fast for me. I found my eyes closing involuntarily once more. "Who's talking about swings?"

Another laugh. Then, no more noise at all. I contemplated reawakening myself. At least Preston had showed. I had an inkling he'd be down to blow this place. And if that inkling was correct, I wouldn't have to stay here to have a good time.

I stretched out my shoulders, preparing to get up. Then, quite suddenly, felt a warm plush sensation move against my lips. Green-eyes again? Nah. . . These lips were too soft. The smell coming from the skin of my serial kisser smelled not of any of the girls I'd been kissing tonight. It smelled. . . oddly better.

I elbowed my way through the crowd finally finding a place at the wall. I leaned against the solid comfort and observed the wildly dancing shadows with an artists eyes. "Looks like it could be at a Sabbat." I muttered to myself. "What?" A testerone fuled male asked. "Nothing." I said aloud walking away while he trailed after me. "Do you want something to drink?" He shouted over the music. "No sorry watching my father drown his damned troubles in the bottom of bottles kind of ruined that for me but your welcome to." I replied coolly slipping outside leaving him open mouthed. I sat down on the stairs leading to a decent sized garden and sighed. "Sounds likes someone has the weight of the world of the world on their shoulders." Someone said. I smirked and turned around.

Collin Green
Party

Collin did not find Lindsay. Instead, he found an emo girl, sitting on the stairs that led to the house's garden. She said something snarky to some guy who offered her a drink, something about an alcoholic dad. Collin could relate to bad dads.

"Sounds like someone has the weight of the whole world on their shoulders," he said, taking a seat next to her. He wasn't into the whole gothic thing, but he didn't judge. People dealt with their problems in different ways. Collin obsessed over soccer and music and joked too much. His mom threw herself into her work. His little sister used art as an escape. This girl used dark clothes.

She smirked at him. "You could say that." She took off her sweatshirt as a warm breeze came in, shifting her weight around and taking a sip of her beer.

Collin noticed the livid cuts on her arm, not bleeding but too new to be scars. "You shouldn't do that shit," he said, gesturing to her arm. "It doesn't help anything."

She looked angry for a second but cooled down, raising an eyebrow. "So what should I do then?"

"Me," Collin said, and they both laughed. "But in all seriousness, I enforce on myself a strict regimen of pot, music, and soccer."

She smiled. "I like music. Not sure about the pot or the soccer."

Collin sipped from his beer, and all of a sudden, he heard a bunch of shouts. The music stopped.

A girl screamed. "Jen! Ohmahgod, someone call an ambulance!"

Collin looked down at his beer and realized how illegal the situation he was in really was. SJ, as the girl introduced herself to him as, seemed to have the same idea. "Let's get out of here," she said.

Collin followed her.

I grabbed my sweatshirt and after tying it around my waist climbed up the wall leaving Collin to stare up wide eyed. I looked down once I reached the top. "C'mon Collin unless you want to spend the night in jail." I said half teasing half serious. He sighed and climbed after me. I looked down at the ground judging the distance. I slid off the wall and landed hard on my feet my knees bent. He landed a little less gracefully but still landed. "How did you learn to do that?" He asked after standing up. I shrugged. "I'm a gymnast." I replied calmly walking in the opposite direction of the sirens. "I wouldn't take you for a..." He started jogging to catch up to me. "A jock? I'm not I just do it for the scholarships." I replied slowing down some. I heard the sirens get louder and looked at him. "Unless we want to continue this discussion in a cell I suggest we hussle." I added.

Briar Leeson

Briar heard the sirens off in the distance coming the direction of the house. She heard someone say something about a girl passing out, but she didn't know who or why. She pushed her way through the people in the dining room and headed towards the living room. Eyeing the group hovered over someone on the ground, she pressed through them to grab a peek at the girl.

She sighed heavily when she saw it was Jen. Briar knew she'd be okay--it's not like this hadn't happened before--but she still felt the guilt for what she knew she had to do.

It was still so loud in the house and the drinking was still taking place. She knew this would be the headlining story tomorrow at school. That is, who got away and who ended up in jail. And even though Briar had been drinking, that's not what she was afraid of. She knew the bag of weed in her pocket would land her a much unappreciated stay in jail.

Briar turned and pushed her way through the crowds towards the front door, pulling out her cell and attempting to call Eben as she did. He didn't answer, but she spotted Mia in the corner of what appeared to just be a sitting room.

"Mia!"

Briar yelled, but it was so loud she knew Mia would never hear her. Briar couldn't hear the sirens anymore, but she knew they were coming. She dialed Eben again as she pushed her way to Mia, grabbing her arm.

"Mia!"

Mia swirled around and had a sigh of relief when she saw it was Briar, "Bri! Have you seen Jen?"

Briar looked around the room, to the door, and back to Mia. She was nervous, and she was slightly out of breath, "Mia, I have to go."

Mia seemed taken aback by her statement, "But...what about Jen?"

Briar grabbed Mia's arms, trying to help her understand how serious the situation was. Briar needed to leave. "She'll be fine. But I have to go, Mia. I have to." Briar took a break to try to catch her breath, "Call your brother, and tell him to get out of her. Now."

"What? Eben? Eben's here?"

"I will explain to you later. Make sure he leaves. It's really important and he's not answering my call. You have to find him."

Lindsay Collins

No way. No way, no way, no way. How in the world have I gotten myself drunk?! I promised myself one drink, then it turned out to be more than that, which led to a makeout session with someone younger than me! I don't even know his name! I swore before on one of Linda's tiles outside. I wiped the sweat off my forehead and buried my face in my hands. I took off my heels and threw them aside.

"Wow, someone's had too much to drink," a familiar voice said. I turned my head in disgust to see Eben, and suddenly, my face softened.

"Oh, it's you," I said. He chuckled.

"What do you mean by me? Is that a codename for the guys you have little girly crushes on? Honestly Linds, I thought you were mature," Eben said doubtedly. He crossed his arms, his smirk still etched upon his face.

"What do you know about mature Mr. Drugdealer?" I asked sharply. His smile faltered. Ha, take that.

"You know too? Okay, I know you won't tell Mia, right?" he asked. I stared at him for a moment, debating on something. I have a pocket full of money burning a hole in my pocket, so why not?

"Maybe... if you have anymore of what you're selling," I said slowly.

(hope this is fine!)
