Because Smylin asked me so nicely... :3 Also, sorry for the essay of a profile I know I'm about to create.

Name: Daniel Preston, but everyone calls him Preston rather than Daniel.

Age: 17

Grade (9/10/11/12): 11

Hair: A dark brown colour, and is always worn messy.

Eyes: Preston has heterochromia, so he has one dark brown eye and one dark blue eye.

Relative Height: 6 foot, give or take a few inches

Relative Weight: Around 160 pounds, and he's kind of muscular.

Other Looks Info: He looks like the picture below.
Spoiler
Image

Personality: Preston's a very excitable guy. He's seventeen, but acts like an 8 year old. To some, that trait can be annoying, but to others, it's highly amusing. He loves nothing more than socialising and having fun. He doesn't take much seriously at all, mainly because that's how he's gotten through quite a bumpy life: he ignores the bad by being happy all of the time. His main flaw is that he never knows when to shut up, and he can't handle serious situations. He can often say or do the wrong thing, which can often land him in trouble. He never thinks before he acts either, and is a very impulsive guy. On the other hand, Preston is really good at reading people and knowing when something is wrong with them, and he's even better at cheering them up.

Average Grades: Mostly C's, but very high grades in the subjects he's good at/enjoys.

Best Friend(s)/Clique: Preston's new to the school at the start of the SB, so no one really yet. He'll probably be a bit of a floater though because he adores any kind of socialising.

Any Sports: He doesn't mind sports... but it's strongly advised for him not to take part. He's unnaturally clumsy when he's playing any kind of sport: he'll either hurt himself, or someone else.

Any Clubs/Other Activities: Preston adores street dance, which is kind of ironic because he's terrible at sports in general. It's what keeps his muscular frame, and he's been doing it since he was as young as seven.

Describe Family: Preston is currently living with his Auntie, Uncle and two cousins in Maryland, but he's originally from the UK. He's never known his mum, but he used to live with his dad in a not-so-nice part of London. All Preston knows about his mum is that she's American and she was studying in England when she met his dad, and when they were both seventeen, she got pregnant. Preston doesn't know what happened next, and all he knows is that his dad was the one who brought him up. He doesn't have any brothers or sisters, and after something bad happened to his dad, he had no choice but to move to Maryland with his Auntie and Uncle.

Any Problems You May Face: Preston has a rather noticeable case of ADHD, but that's about it really. He is on medication for it, but he just doesn't take it because he forgets half of the time. Preston's also gay, so that has been known to cause some problems for him. Nonetheless, he doesn't care if people know about his sexuality, even if it has resulted in him getting beaten up a fair amount of times before.

Brief History: Preston originated from the east of London, UK. He's just moved to Maryland and is about to start at Whitney High. He lived with his dad until he was sixteen, and throughout those sixteen years, he was very poor and lived in a poor part of the east end of London. His dad treated Preston really well, but he didn't treat others or himself quite as well, and Preston really hated it. His dad took drugs, drank, smoked, and always got in trouble with the law. Even though he was always kind to Preston, he hated watching his dad basically destroy himself.

When Preston was sixteen, his dad was arrested for the rape of a young girl. Preston knew his dad didn't do it, and he still knows that, but his dad being accused of rape caused a hell of a lot of problems for Preston. While his dad was awaiting trial, he got shoved around an endless amount of foster homes and orphanages, and some were horrible. In the end, his dad was found guilty, and with his American relatives (on his mother's side) being his only relatives, he had to move to Maryland because he couldn't have bared living in anymore foster homes.

Anything Else You Want to Include: Preston's gay, but he's keeping it a complete secret from his Auntie and Uncle because they're strong Christians. He also doesn't want anyone to find out about his dad, so he's keeping that on the down-low.
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Would you mind if I joined? It's okay if you do, there's already a bunch of charries. If it's a no, I'll delete this.

Name: Cameron Foremer (four-more)

Grade (9/10/11/12): 12

Hair: Dark brown, semi-long, slightly wavy

Eyes: Misty, green/brown eyes

Other Looks Info: http://weheartit.com/entry/15757626/in-set/430639-guys

Personality: Cameron is a big charmer and flirts with everyone. He's straight, but he sometimes flirts with guys just for the sake of flirting. He barely realizes when he does it. He's afraid that people will leave him, so when you're his friend he tries hard to hold onto you. He's very open about how he feels and how he thinks, and will say whatever is on his mind. He loves music, skateboarding, jokes, and laughing. He has an extreme fear of fire. He's loves to make people laugh and smile, and can and will talk to anyone. He's a really good listener, despite the fact that he usually talks a bunch. He's a pretty take whatever life throws at you kind of guy, and he really likes to be around people. He's outgoing and knows a lot of random and useless facts and silly jokes

Average Grades: A's and B's, the occasional C here and there

Best Friend(s)/Clique: He hangs out with more people from the the skater group and the musicians, but he also floats from group to group. Anyone wanna be his best friend?

Any Sports: None. He's not into sports.

Describe Family: You could hardly call it a family. His mom left long ago and hasn't been heard from since, and his dad drowns himself in his work. Cameron has an older brother, Drew, but they haven't talked since he moved out six years ago. He's mostly on his own, excpet for one week every three months when his aunt Chris, his favorite person in the world, comes to visit.

Any Problems You May Face (Learning Disorders, Rape, Cutting, Divorce, etc): His mother left him and his family when Cameron was seven. He still remembers her driving down the road as he tried to chase her screaming, "Mommy, mommy come back! I'm sorry I was bad, I'll be better!" He has some abandonment issues. Also, he has OCD, and everything has to be in order tallest to shortest.

Brief History: Cameron is

This is also how she dresses.

Personality: Sophie is very shy, and doesn't talk to many people. Usually, people just eventually give up on trying to be her friend. Sophie is just searching for someone, without knowing it, that will stick with her. Sophie is actually really funny and really sweet, but it's hidden by her fear of people.

Average Grades: Solid Cs, except she always has and A in art.

Best Friend(s)/Clique: It's hard for her to make friends with people, so she has no best friend. She has no preferred group of people, and will be around anyone, as long as you don't touch her or push her to do things she doesn't want to do. She's loves the creativity of artsy people adn the actors/actresses though.

Her and her dad were really close before the divorce, but when the divorce happened their relationship shattered too. Her dad still tries, but for some reason they have trouble talking to each other. Sophie has a brother, Daniel, but he moved back to Norway when he turned twenty last year. She talks to him on the phone every tuesday and friday at five o clock no matter what. He's the only one who knows she was raped. She couldn't bring herself to tell her parents.

Forgot to mention, Sophie is supposed to be a junior, but she was held back in third grade, because that was her first year in America and she was still struggling with her english

also,Cameron is going to end up being kicked out of the house, and the guy who raped Sophie is going to make a comeback. I also think Sophie may end up in a short, abusive relationship - i'm going to start her out in it. :D

I'm so excited for this!!!

Collin Green
Day 1

Collin Green didn't get a ride to school. His mom asked him and Haley if they wanted one, but both of them knew that gas was pretty scarce. Besides, Collin liked walking better than the bus. The bus was hot and crowded, and there was always some dipwad who hadn't showered in days and reeked like cat piss. Collin had a lot of energy and needed to get it out of his system anyway, and he could do just that when he walked. So that was just what he did, headphones in his ears, songs downloaded from Limewire playing into his head, the wind mussing up his already messy dark hair. His sister was beside him, as much like him as ever. Her Sharpie-colored hair was in a ponytail, and her greenish brown eyes watch her older brother's clumsy, hyperactive walk. The two looked like twins, polar opposites as they may have been, as they strode down Main Street towards the three district school buildings.

"Lose Yourself" played to Collin, and he felt the music become him. He went from that skinny kid with ADHD to a rapper on the streets of Detroit. He knew exactly how Eminem felt. He could lose himself in the music the way a dumb fat kid could lose himself in a corn maze. Collin mouthed the words like he was on speed, fast and articulate and completely in his own world. However, he was soon jolted back to reality by narrowly avoiding being hit by a speeding silvery Toyota Camry.

"Snap out of it, Mozart," muttered Haley, grabbing his arm and pulling him to the safety of the sidewalk.

His heart beat quickly, and then he noticed how bright blue the sky was. Why was the sky so blue? Were they gonna be late? He started walking faster. Haley sighed. Her brother was freaking insane.

The two siblings eventually went their seperate ways. Haley was a puny freshman, but Collin was a tenth grader. This was going to be his year. He was going to make the soccer team that afternoon, lead in goals, get those straight Bs that would get him to community college, and finally lose his freaking virginity. Collin could feel it.

His locker was the same as last year; they'd already said so in a letter home at the beginning of the summer. Luckily, it was only a few feet from Jules on one side and a few feet from Thalia on the other. Plus, there was a nice view of Briar Lesson's ass across the hallway. Collin noticed things like that.

The morning went by slower than a snail. All the teachers handed out syllabuses and gave lectures about classroom rules and stuff. But at lunch, the chicken nuggets were shaped like stars. He appreciated that as he sat down at a table with Jules and a few upperclassmen. Collin recognized Preston and Cameron and a couple of senior stoners.

"Hey look," Cameron said as Collin took his seat. "It's little Preston."

"We don't look that much alike," said Preston. "Besides, you don't just roll out of bed with these good looks. It takes practice."

There was a uniform eye-rolling among all members of the table.

"You gonna be at soccer tryouts today, Little Preston?" asked one of the senior stoners, a pudgy guy who looked so similar to a young Chris Farley that it was scary.

Collin nodded, gnashing a chicken nugget with his teeth and scanning the cafeteria, his eyes darting almost immediately to the windows on the side of the room. The sky was still really blue.

"Good luck. The new coach's a dick."

Oh shit, thought Collin. His plan was already beginning to unravel. Oh well, he thought. Look! A squirrel!

It was nice to be back at school with all of my friends. I'd spent my entire summer working, and I finally saved up enough to buy a car, which I'm getting today. Not to mention that my locker is right next to a really cute sophmore's this year.

A wide grin on my face, I shoved a nugget in my mouth, chomped on it quickly, and swallowed, then said, "I get my truck today, kids!"

My friends smiled at each other and me and they continued talking about their summer and whatever girls they'd had a fling with. Taking a swig from my water bottle, I noticed Mia waiting in line for her lunch.

Smiling, I shoved my last to chicken nuggets in my mouth and said to my friends, "Catch you later. I'm gonna go say hi to Mia. I'll come by your houses when I get my car later and we'll hang out."

Jogging over to the lunch line, I came behind Mia and grabbed her around her waist, lifting her up and spinning around in a circle.

"Mia! I missed you!" I said excitidly.

"Cameron! Where've you been, working man?" She asked as I put her back down.

"I've been working or sleeping. But it's worth it. I'm getting my truck today!"

Sophie

Queen's We are the Champions blasted through my car as I pulled into the school. I'm the only Sophmore with a car, becasue I was held back, but it was pretty cool I guess. My car was a present from Dad when I got my license; he'd forgotten I prefer to walk. I'd only decided to drive today because I was running late.

Grabbing my purse, I put it over my head and across my chest. Turning off the radio adn taking out the keys, I hopped out, locked the car, and ran into the school.

I went to my locker, quickly spinning in the combonation.

"Hey Soph" I heard Briar say as she leaned against the locker beside mine.

Giving her a soft smile, I said in my norwegian accent, "Hey Briar, how ya doing?"

Briar is really my only friend in the school, one of the few people who bothered to stick around long enough to let me trust her.

Shoving a pop tart in my mouth, I walked with Briar to our shared homeroom and she said, "I'm fine girl, how about you?"

I thought back to the dream I had last night, the dream about Conner, the guy who raped me. Glancing at Briar, I chewed on the inside of my cheek. I had been debating telling her for five weeks now. I was still unsure.

"I'm fine," I lied. Briar glanced at me knwoingly, but said nothing.

***

I sat with Briar and some other art buff's at lunch, eating my nutella sandwhich. I smiled at some familiar faces from last year, people I knew but had never really gotten close to.

Driving up in my beat-up green Bug, I saw the school for the first time. Something about it seemed relieving, a good vibe radiating from it already. Maybe I was just being overly-optimistic. The fading scars on my face and throat proved that I lacked a completely reliable judge of character. A song by Keane was playing as I rolled into the parking lot, sending a song to a sudden halt with the pull of the car keys, and I stepped out with my backpack and guitar to take in my final gusts of fresh air before opening the door to a building flooded with students. Biting my lip nervously, I fumbled to get my things crammed into my locker. Things would probably be difficult, adjusting to a new school, especially since I my guy-dar was currently out-of-whack thanks to my boyfriend's recent...er, "physical confrontation" that had left me with a concussion and more than a few scars and stitches. The smell of alcohol still makes me sick. So do knives and fists, both of which I've found don't feel great upon contact with skin.

By the time lunch rolls around, I don't have high hopes. People look so closely-knit, and I feel...terrified. Did I feel this scared my first day at my other school? I hadn't thought so. Sighing, I manage to find an empty table, observing the tables around me, catching conversations and uncovering the current status quos and latest information on sports. I wouldn't be doing softball fora long time, the one sport I truly lived for, but at least swimming wasn't far away.

Then again, everything felt so distant.

Briar

The first day of school was something Briar couldn't create a feeling for. She had spent the summer in a mixture of two ways: on her art at home, or spending time with what her aunt and uncle would describe as "miscreants" in an area they would prefer she not go, but have stopped trying to force her not to go. School meant art club and a little change of pace, but she still didn't care much about it. It also meant more classes, homework, and poor grades.

Briar owned a new crossover SUV, but hadn't driven it to school yet. When her father died he left her comfortable with enough money for a car of her own, a small monthly allowance per the will, and a trust fund for tuition. They had never been what is commonly referred to as "wealthy," but as Briar's only parent, her father made sure he had a high amount of life insurance in case he were to pass away. Turns out, he prepared well.

Lindsay and Briar rode to school together today. Lindsay had her own car and would probably use it, as well, in the future--but for the first day of school, it was easier to go together. They were in the same grade and they were cousins living together. In school, it's almost like they were twin sisters. Briar often enjoyed this, because they had a lot of the same classes and were able to help each other out, but she also disliked it on occasion. Because they weren't twins, and Briar was an only child, sometimes all the togetherness was just too much for her.

They didn't speak much on the drive to school. 630am came early and, at least with Briar, mornings were not her favorite. She met up with Sophie briefly in the hall and headed to homeroom--English--Chemistry. Most of these classes consisted of teachers talking and Briar staring out the window. It was going to be another "great" year academically--but Briar really didn't care.

At lunch she sat with Sophie and a few other art-interested people.

"Are you sad summer is over?" She asked Sophie.

"Yes and no. Ups and downs to both."

"Yea...but I'm here, so clearly there are more ups." Briar joked. She was often the one to make jokes in serious situations.

Mia

“Hey, that’s awesome! No wonder you seem so excited,” Cameron looked like a kid on Christmas day. Mia grabbed a bowl of salad and moved along the lunch line to pay. “You’re totally taking me with you, by the way. I have very good negotiating skills...”

“Oh, yeah?” Cameron mused, raising a cheeky brow. “What kind of ‘negotiating skills’ are we talking about here exactly?”

“The kind that involves provocative clothing, if necessary – some major flirting, and not forgetting, a charming smile...” she winked.

Cameron chuckled.

“The end result, Cam, will be you leaving the garage with a ridiculously cheap truck. What d’you say?” she asked

“If it means saving a few grand I say hell yes!” replied Cameron. “I’ll pick you up after school?”

A few shouts came from some of Mia’s cheerleading friends at the middle table.

“Duty calls...” Mia said, rolling her eyes in annoyance. “Can you believe, it hasn’t even been a full day back at school and the girls are already arguing over the new cheer?”

“And, let me guess, they want you to be the peacemaker?” smirked Cameron.

“Yup,” Mia sighed, “It’s one of the many perks of being the ‘nice girl’...”

Cameron chuckled at her sarcasm and Mia smiled.

“See you after school,” she said to him.

“Later,” Cameron waved.

With that, Mia headed for the cheerleaders table at the middle table of the cafeteria. On her way she passed a new girl from her grade sitting all by herself. She was small but dressed in a cute indie dress, Mia would know, she absolutely loved fashion. She decided she should go and introduce herself. It wasn’t nice to be alone, especially at Whitney High. The place was a labyrinth of bitching, backstabbing, rumours and fights.

The cheerleaders would just have to wait.

Jen Pedersen
Day 1

"Jenny! Waaakkkkkeeee uuuppppp!" Mick yelled from downstairs. The smell of pancakes wafted up to Jen, chocolaty chips and syrup and orange juice. Her stomach turned over. She rolled on her side and looked at her clock. 7:09. She had about an hour to get ready.

Light danced softly through her pale pink curtains and made shapes on her lavender-hued walls. She blinked and yawned and stretched. The first day of school. The first day of being a freshman.

Jen tested her blood sugar. 79.

"Mom! I'm kinda low!"

"Perfect! Come eat some pancakes!"

She sighed. "They're full of fat!"

"Then eat some glucose tabs!"

She did. Then she got under the warm water of the shower. She tried not to think about the day. Kat was gone, in California. Moved with barely any notice. Jen was friendless.

The day passed by, and she was just a shadow.

Pounding on the door, I cupped my hands around my mouth and yelled, "Mia! Get your hot ass out here!"

The door flung open, but it wasn't Mia. It was her brother, Eben.

"Hey Eben" I said, trying to make this less awkward. We'd known each other since I was a sophmore and Mia a freshman, so he knew how Mia and I talk to each other sometimes, but...it was still a tad awkward.

Smirking, Eben stepped aside and said, "Why don't you get your hot ass inside."

Chuckling, I took a step inside and waited for Mia.

When Mia finally came down, I grabbed her by her arm excitedly and said, "Mia, let's go get my truck!"

I pulled her out the door, not even allowing her to close the door. I tugged her along, running to the car dealership.

"Mia, I don't care if you have to break your high heel to get there, get there!" I said jokingly.

I almost heard Mia roll her eyes.

***

I took the keys greedily from the dealer, shooting a smile over at Mia. She'd some how managed to get three grand off of my truck; her and her cleavage.

When the dealer went back into his office, I ran at Mia, scooped her up, and spun her around yelling, "Thank you thank you thank you Mia!!!!!!!! I'm forever in debt to you!"

Putting her down, I grabbed her wrist and tugged her over to my new 2010 Chevy Silverado - in red.

"Let's go let's go let's go!" I said, opening the passenger door, then running to the other side and hoping into the driver's seat.

When Mia got in, I put the key in and started the car.

A wide grin on my face, I started heading around to my friends' houses.
