in struggle town = having difficulties. e.g. I'm in struggle town with this homework.
devo = devastated e.g. I'm so devo that I couldn't make it to the party.
true story = this actually happened. e.g. I couldn't get a lift so I had to walk to the station. True story. Often used facetiously, e.g. I couldn't get a lift so I flew there in my alien spaceship. True story.
and then I found five bucks = a way to finish (or give meaning to) a story which is going nowhere e.g. I was in struggle town this morning because I forgot how to tie my shoelaces, um, and then I found five bucks.
I don't use some of these, but these slang words are local to where I'm from. Bear in mind that where I'm from, a lot of people don't pronounce the letter 'H' so I'm writing them in for your sake
