We all use it. We all use it differently. Feel free to post, share, and discuss yo slang here. 8) It could be a single word, it could be a phrase. Anything that's slang to you that doesn't happen to fit your everyday "proper" English goes.

I guess I'll start with a few I'm most familiar with. Slang that I use and that I hear around me all the time. If you use any of these too, feel free to say so.

"Real talk" - I'm serious

"I put that on" - I swear

"Don't get it twisted" - Don't get it backwards/mixed up/confused/wrong

"wack" - dumb/stupid

"jank" - unfair/dumb/wack

"sick/bad" - awesome

There, now your turn. :3
I'm real curious to see how you Brits attack this!

Please keep it family-friendly. No offensive content!

American. But my slang is pretty odd. I have more than this. This is off the top of my head.

Janky - Odd, messed up, funky. Ex: That smells janky.

Poptart - A dumb or silly person. Can be used as an insult or a term of affection. Ex: When's the poptart gonna pop out of the toaster? Dear god it does not that long to go to the bathroom.|The cheerleading squad is full of poptarts.|You're a poptart.

Sayo - My own personal word for "bye". Derived from my original pronunciation of the word "ciao", because I am a poptart. Also derived from my love of the word "sayonara". Ex: Sayo, see you tomorrow!
Ideas don't stay in heads very long because they don't like solitary confinement.

Sick flow - nice hair

Cool story, bro - I really couldn't care less

Legit - This is totally official

Bawling - Awesome

Pffffttttt - not enough cusses in the world to explain this one.

Same - used when there is nothing better to say.

Stay mint, bra - kind of like an insult but can also be used jokingly when permitted.

Sick/dope/ill= awesome

Six to one, half dozen to the other= equal

Killed it= think I did really well.

Start going through tropes. You'll find the rest.

HAHA...My slang is one you people will consider bad English. It is a mix of quite a few languages, and is called Singlish (i'm from Singapore)
Most of what we say would be new to you...We use a great amount of profanity (normal usage, not me personally.)
We even have a dictionary on it. It is called http://www.singlishdictionary.com/ ...check it out

Mine is mostly the normal Midwestern corruption of the English language...

Dagnabbit = A classic expletive, used for comedic effect. ("Somebody ate all the pizza." / "Dagnabbit!!!")

Goober = My affectionate nickname for my dog. ("Stop staring at my sandwich, you goober.")

Thingie = Often used, generally when I can't think of the actual word for something. ("Can you hand me the thingie, please?" / "Do you mean the jar of pickles?" / "Yeah.")

Thingamajigger = See above.

Yark = Throw up. ("Those pickles aren't setting too well; I think I'm gonna yark.")
I aim to misbehave.

Is it weird in here, or is it just me? --Steven Wright

We use a LOT of profanity at school. The F word is loved but I avoid profanity as much as possible - not only cos it's offensive but because I'm a Good Boy.

It's a mix of West London slang, my own slang and foreign languages.

Scrape out - Get out (of the conversation)
nicked/jacked = stolen
Sick=cool
Cool=cool
Merci (beaucoup)=Pretty obvious, if you don't, you need to improve your French.
Yalla (prounounced "Y'all-a") = hurry up
SAY WALLA! = Swear to God. Usually said when shouting in disbelief.
DASBEAST! = OMG that's so awesome/epic/wowowoowowow.

That's me!
