Oh Skinsy, Felix literally made me laugh out loud (lol). :D Also, I made sure I added as many people's characters into this post. I hope I got you all, and I hope I did a good job.

Bradley Newman; (Marvel) District One:

At the push of the button he could kill us all, and now he was saying that we had to go into the forest to find weapons to massacare each other with. Well, if he could possibly kill us all there was no use me sticking around! Dragging myself up into a standing position, I stumbled away from the group, the feeling of their eyes burned into my back.

"Where are you going?" I heard someone ask. It was the blonde girl with the heels, her face brimmed with makeup. She looked like a prep. As if it honestly mattered where I was going. Far away from here, I guess.

I spun around so I glared at all of them. "He said he could kill us all by a push of a button, you aren't literally just going to stand here waiting for him to do that, are you?"

"So what," a boy wearing a mathematical shirt raised an eyebrow. "We go out there find those weapons and slaughter each other with them?" Was that a wizard on his shirt?

I hadn't exactly said that, I wanted to simply get out of here, find the military jerk that had concucted this - whatever it was - as my initation test into Military School, and choke him till he was blue and purple. And hopefully my stepfather would be there also, it would be a bonus kill! Shrugging my shoulders, I turned and walked away, trying not to jump into a jog and give them any material to destroy me with when I was out of the way. It wasn't long before I saw a girl, it was Glimmer (or that's what President Snow had called her), hunched over a tree, gagging.

"What the hell?" I asked, coming to an adrupt stand still.

"A-ah, i-its not..." she trailed away, her eyes wide like the moon.

"So you don't believe me, do you?" President Snow's voice came again. There was a pause and then suddenly an explosion. I crashed down on one knee, grabbing at the girl definitely un-gentleman like and pulled her down to the floor with me. I only barely managed to catch a glimpse of a tall, sandy blonde haired boy diving towards Felix and knocking him to the ground before the fire surrounding the two females (lying really close together) could engulf him. The smoke and ash cleared away revealing something that was definitely not PG+13. The girl next to me screamed loudly, the other blonde girl that had been closer to the carnage immediately erupted into a crying fit. I could feel my stomach rheeling inside of me, the little food I had managed to eat at dinner clawing its way into my throat.

"This is what will happen if you don't listen to my commands. Those two girls were only dummy players anyway, they are not needed in the re-acting of this story. But don't push me, I will go after the main characters, if I must." The man paused. "Now, go, run into the forest and find the weapons, and begin the fight!"

My ears felt like they were bursting, I could pull my eyes away from the carnage. Unlooping my arm from around Glimmer's body, I slithered backwards, the coward inside me threatening to burst. This was not a military school initiation test! They wouldn't blast someone to bits for a stupid test! This was the real thing. Turning, I screamed, running away from the field and deep into the trees. Where I was going? I didn't know, though with every step, I could feel eyes boring into my back.

Piper|District 11|Rue

"Welcome to the first Hunger Games!" Piper groaned and sat up, running her hands through her chocolate brown hair. Where the hell was she? And who was this freak, with his Hunger Games reference? What did he think this was, a role playing storybook? She remembered reading all about the Games, and what people had to do, which was kill each other. Fun! Piper snickered and looked around. There was a lot to see: two girls were forced to kiss by a boy who just got tackled by another. Piper laughed cruelly as the girls screamed and jumped apart. One was even puking. Hot.

"Pussies. It was just a kiss." Piper sneered at them, grasping a tree for support. Her legs were shaking slightly.

"It's about time you awoke, Rue." The voice echoed from God knows where.

"Rue? I'm Piper, you insolent fucktard." Piper yelled, her doe eyes flashing coldly.

"You are Rue in looks, though you are far from similar." The voice said simply, then disappeared. Piper rolled her eyes, then walked over to the boy who put the lesbian show on.

"Nice show. The reactions were epic." She sneered at the girls, then turned to the boy. "What the hell is this? We team up like the Games used to be? If we do, you should join me. We'd make an excellent team."

(Who's Katniss? I'ma make Rue/Piper a total beeatch to her xDD

Oh, and I apologize on Piper's behalf. She has a potty mouth >:D)

Cassie Stonem (Glimmer, District 1)

I watched as the boy, Marvel, ran off... screaming. I tilted my head. Were all boys like this? I stare off into space and start thinking. Hunger Games... Glimmer... Killing, lovely isn't it. I stop thinking when I heard a girl... swearing at the voice. Rue? Isn't Rue the youngest tribute? She doesn't look very young... or nice. I turned towards where that Marvel boy ran off.

I start heading off who knows where? I listened to my feet crunch as I heard the voices growing fainter and fainter. I examined my arm as I walked. I'm as white as a cloud, but it's still big. I frown and pinch the skin. I start humming to some tune and stopped when I saw many boulders. I opened my mouth, but then closed it when I remembered no one was with me. The boulders looked very squished up together, if I were one of them, I wouldn't like that. I picked one small boulder off, and then took a step back.

"You didn't like being squished up there, did you?" I asked the rock. Suddenly there was a loud noise. I lifted my head to see the boulders have fallen, revealing a small dagger. I gasped and picked it up.

"It's so shiny against the light!" I exclaimed. "But what do I use it for?"

"You may look like Glimmer, but you aren't very smart and cunning like her at all!" the voice boomed. I frowned and hid the dagger in my pocket. Smart? Cunning? I don't think I'm that. But I look like Glimmer, that must mean something!

(Hope this is okay! What a ditzy Glimmer. xD )

Dean- (Thresh District 11)

When I heard that voice, I was very glad that I had gotten out of there before I got killed.
Peeta? Marvel? What the heck? Who were these people? And why the heck was he saying that we were in the Hunger Games?
Lynn, was standing in front of me, her arm outstreached.
"Hi!" I said, my voice as always, very happy and booming when I first met new people. "I'm Dean."
She smiled, her white teeth flashing, and started walking beside me.
"Lunatics are running whatever this is," I say, with a little laugh.
She doesn't say a word, just looks around.
"Talkative aren't you?" I say, rolling my eyes, but grinning.
Her lip curls, and she ignores me, walking away a little.
"I didn't mean you had to leave." I say, my eyes darting around. Girls.

Don't you love new Storybook's? Miss a day and it's all spammed up! :3

Lynette Milliron-Clove, District Two

The first sensation I feel is the awakeness, alertness of my body. I know I shouldn't be asleep. I was supposed to be shopping, talking and laughing for the first time in the months. Last I checked, sleeping and shopping were not the same thing. I fluttered my eyelids awake, blinking as a forest came into view. A forest? My eyes jolt open. I climb to my feet, glancing around. I was surronded by kid's- some laying down, sound asleep, and other's looking around with the bewilderment that must've shown in my eyes.

"Welcome, Tributes," A huge, booming voice sounded, "welcome to Earth%u2019s very first Hunger Games!%u201D

Hunger Games. I knew the name. I knew it well. I had, after all read the series about three times over. A facinating, involving book. Just not that involving. I thumbed my bottom lip. 'Welcome to the very first Hunger Games.' Oh god. Dear, dear God. I remember something I hadn't when I awoke. Being shoved into something dark and uncomfortable, my hand's tied behind my back. I glanced around. I spotted a boy standing near me, his eyes wide with confusion. I walked softly over to him, cautiously. He looked strong, but innocent enough not to immediatley try and kill someone. Not like there was a lot of those kind of people...in this world. The boy whirled around- and immediatley started talking.

"Hi! Please don't kill me. I really don't need death. It'd get in the way of my plans."

Well. Unexpectedly childish much? I couldn't help but roll my eyes, and stuck out my hand. "I'm Lynn."

"Just as in the books," the voice spoke again, startling us both, " you will engage in an all out brawl until only one of you are standing. "The Hunger Games is tale about death, oppression and the love of two young teenagers blossoming. Don't let me down Katniss and Peeta."

Katniss and Peeta? As in...Katniss and Peeta? Dread raced through my heart, anticipating the speaker's next words. The boy next to me frowns.

"Who are you?!" A voice screamed, high-pitched with fear. It was still clearly male, however. I looked around, spotting a handsome blond boy.

"Oh Marvel, so quick to speak your opinion..." the booming male voice trailed away. Marvel. Did this mean...? "You may call my President Snow. For now, I am your master. Currently you are on every screen in this entire Earth, you're lives, you're deaths and you're love being aired out to the fans of the Hunger Games series. You will re-act the Hunger Games with every twist and turn right down to the book so that everyone can enjoy the love I so do feel."

God, this guy was insane. My gut wrenched in fear, finally understanding his words. Oh my god. My mind raced a mile a minute, but the boy I stood next to merely turned and opened his mouth--again.

"I'm Dean. Do you have any idea what's going on?"

I took a deep breath. "I-I think I do...and it's not good..."

"What-"

I held my finger to my lips, quieting him. "Listen."

He nodded, and was quiet. We heard a few names tossed around. Peeta, Marvel, Glimmer... Understanding- or at least a brief realization- dawned in Dean's eyes. The big, booming voice was quiet for a moment. Dean took the moment to speak.

"Who are we?" He screamed, trying to keep his cool.

I could feel the voice's eyes on us, and flinched under his imaginary gaze. By instinct, I started playing with the sillyband's that adorned my wrist. Hm. Apparently this "President Snow" wasn't as good as a planner as he gave off. I was still wearing my favorite pair of jeans and an old T-Shirt. Thank god I'd worn sneaker's today. My heart sped up, awaiting his answer. I couldn't be Rue, I was white and over twelve. Not Foxface, I had dark hair. Katniss, if I was lucky?

The voice laughed. "You, my talkative friend, are Thresh. The girl..." A slight taste of disgust filled his voice. "is Clove."

Clove? Oh...oh no.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

I was running, how could I hurt anyone anyway? There was no way.
I looked down at myself, I was dressed in a really weird outfit, that I'd never seen before.
Littered along the path were backpacks, bows, arrows and other junk. I picked up a bag, a bow, an knife. I might as well defend myself, right?
No, but I could use it for getting food. I've hunted before, and it was pretty fun.
I don't know why I was running, no one seemed to be fighting anyway, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. I let myself relax, and slowed to a fast walk. I threw the back back and bow over my shoulder, and slipped the knife into my belt. There was absoultly no reason why I shouldn't be armed, I mean, there could be animals.
I love puppies and kitties, but that's about it. Anyway, I thought back to when I had read the Hunger Games. I loved the books, but I would never want to be in this position. I wonder who I am... I thought, my eyes straying across the hills. Trees, and the big lake down there where I had woken up.

A voice boomed out of the trees as I stopped by a rock, and sat down to inspect my supplies. "Some of you may be wondering who you are. Look at your inner arm. You are marked with your district number. Remember that."
I instantly looked down and saw a three stamped there.
I looked up at the sky, wanting to scream, but not wanting to give away my position.
The clouds were slowly floating around, and I sighed, leaning back, sleepiness floating over my brain. Maybe a small sleep wouldn't be bad.
I climbed down the other side of the rock, in between it and the cliff. I curled up, using my unpacked bag as a pillow, and sighing, my eyes trained on the leaves blowing from the breeze that floated sweet scents throug

I can still see you standing there
Summer tangled in your hair
First week of July
First day of my life

Alright, now lets get this fighting started! :D Oh I am evil, I know!

Bradley James|Marvel - District One:

I collapsed to the ground, my chest heaving for as much oxygen they could take. Did I get away? It felt like I had been running in circles! I sat up, pushing my hair from my forehead and groaning at my aching muscles. No one was going to actually try to kill anyone, were they? I shook my head. But after what I had see, we didn't haven't a choice. It was either kill or be killed. By this President Snow. I could feel sobs working their way through my throat though holding my breath seemed to keep them away. Pushing my sneaker through the muck, my foot hit against something solid. Looking down, I felt my eyes widen with horror. A long dagger sat imbedded in dead grass before me, the blade glinting. I let out a shout and bounded backwards, my eyes still pressed cautiously on the blade.

Should I take it? I at least needed something to protect myself with, who knew what was going to happen. Creeping forward, I reached forward and let my fingers twirl against the blade. It felt heavy as I pulled it away from the grass. Putting my finger on it, it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that this had been sharpened to kill.

"I think I hear someone!" a voice shouted from behind me.

"Yeah, there are foot steps leading this way."

Isaac Edgar Whist; District 3

Isaac didn't like the way this was going; too many teens were wandering off into the woods, probably in search of some weapon or another. And those girls. Blimey, those girls. Isaac could still smell their singed flesh and when he opened his mouth to say something, the smoke got in and he could taste it. The taste of smoke and smog and... he almost gagged and turned quickly away from the sight, shutting his mouth tight.

Nearly everyone had gone from the clearing now. Scared away, off to hide or to fight. Isaac hesitated. He didn't want to end up like those girls but he couldn't fight, he couldn't kill. He couldn't do anything.

"Do you want to die, boy?" The voice seeemed to be coming from nowhere and everywhere att the same time. Isaac guessed the guy must hve the place wired up with cameras and mikes. It didn't really matter where he went; there was no hiding, or little enouh at least. Perhaps in some of the bushes or a blind spot behind a tree...

"No," Isaac squeaked, thinking he might pee his pants. "I was... I was going, honest I was! Just thinking strategy and-" He backed off a few steps and looked again at his arm where the three was. "And I wanted to ask what the numbers mean. I mean, what's the significance of the different ditricts?" He was starting to wish he'd read the books now. Then again, knowing details like when his 'character' died would be useful but also very, very scary.

"You are from the technology district, boy," the voice explained. Oh. Geek. Technology district. Gotcha.

"Alright, thanks! Guess I'd better, uh... go find me some technology then." He gave a thumbs up in front of him and then turned around and did the same again, not sure wherre the cameras were and feeling sick to his stomach with nerves.. Then he scuttled off into the trees. Was he going to look for a weapon? Yes. But only so that he might be able to trade it to one of the tougher looking kids for protection.

Felix Lockett (Peeta, District 12)

"I got a brand new combine harvester, and I'll give you the key! C'mon, now let's get together in perfect harmony! I got twenty acres, and you got fourty-three! Now I got a brand new combine harvester, and I'll give you the--"

"Any tributes that are not searching for weapons or fighting will be killed, so I highly suggest for everyone to do as I've told you."

Fine then. Moody bastard. Talking tree guy clearly didn't like my cover of Combine Harvester then. Or he was jealous of my singing ability. Either one. Most likely the latter. After those girls... I shuddered in an attempt to remove the image from crawling into my head. What happened... what President Snow did... it couldn't have been real, could it? I tried not to dwell on the thought. After what happened to them, the majority of the kids left the area, and I could hardly blame them. I mean, heck, I was one of them. I guess we weren't all fighting though, not that it shocked me.

No offence to the crackass who'd brought us here, but what did he expect? Believe it or not, I'd never killed a guy or a girl before. Okay, admittedly, I had sort of, maybe, possibly killed a gerbil once, but that was totally not my fault. It bit my finger, so naturally, I tried to get it off, right? The fact that it flew across the room and landed inside my radiator was its own fault. Nothing to do with me.

I was dragging my feet through a mess of untamed grass and mud when I heard a shuffling sound. When I stopped in my tracks though, all was silent. I started walking again, and the sound started up once more, but this time, I ignored it. Haha, not really. I'm not that stupid. Kind of. I raised my eyebrows as I spotted the leaves of a bush rustling. Jesus, at least try to be original. This was always in the movies. I gave the idiot a chance to jump out, but no one came into sight. I really couldn't' be arsed for this.

"Err, okay, you can come out now. You'll probably get a rash from that bush too, by the way, and I don't have any creams or ointments on me for that kind of crap, sorry... not that I'd let you use them them anyway. No offence. Sharing germs and stuff, you know? I can't be dealing with catching rabies or something."

I got no response. For the love of pig trotters... Did the guy (or girl) want me to get them out of the bush myself? Maybe I should have made a leash to catch the kid. That would have been fun. Sort of barbaric at the same time though. Then again, I guess the talking tree guy would have appreciated that; he was clearly a fan of barbaric things. Come to think of it, I used to think drinking milk was barbaric because I thought it was cow's blood.

My thoughts didn't process any further because before they could do just that, a huge boy's figure practically flew out of the bush. His face was hard, and his lips were nothing but a tiny slit below his nose. He was smirking. I was about to open my mouth when my eyes drifted towards his right hand. In it was a glistening blade. He stepped forward. He's kidding, right? As if on cue, the enormous kid started charging at me, and it sure as hell wasn't slowly.

I ran. Boy, did I run. I was even moving faster than my gerbil did when I flung it--uh, when it flung itself towards the radiator. Heavy footsteps echoed behind me, and I swore to God I was going to crap my pants. Thankfully, although the guy was huge, he wasn't exactly fast. The further I travelled, the quieter his footsteps became. Ha! Fat twat. For the first time since I'd started running, I turned my head. Yes! I couldn't see him. Bam! Come at me, bro! Dang, I was goo--

"Ow!" I heard a curse as I bumped into something firm.

When I came to a sudden stop, I realised my breathing was as calm as an unshorn sheep in the middle of August. I looked up to see a guy with dark, curly hair standing in front of me. This guys sure as hell was scrawnier than Gorilla boy. He looked a bit shocked, or possibly pissed off, but he didn't look like he wanted to kill me. That was a good start.

((The bush guy mentioned is a NPC. Also, sorry for the length of this post... You know how I do.))

>I'm going to apologize right now. I'm sorry, this post is a failure. I would give the normal excuses, but you guys have heard them before. It's late. Homework. I'm in the process of moving. All are true. So please forgive?<

"Only dummy players? What the hell! You just killed two people! Real people with lives! You-you big, fat jerk! You-" I continued to yell insults at the sky, most of them containing four letter words. I couldn't stop screeching out the most horific words that I could think of, effects of being in shock, I guess. The guy never replied, which made me even more ticked, but I guess he finally got tired of it because the next thing I know a flaming ball of electricity is whistling past me. It nearly took off a couple of toes, but the ball some how missed my feet and landed into the bush beside me, completely dimalishing the thing. I shut my mouth, but I was pissed and my eyes were glaring, oh were they glaring. If a look could kill, this guy would be in hell.

For a few minutes, I just stood there, enflamed by rage. Finally I cooled down enough think clearly and at least try to organize my thoughts. So, this was a "to the death" game, eh? I don't think my brain could fully comprehend that thought. I mean death? As in die? That's crazy and completely impossible in the 21st century. No, it's not, I reminded myself as the smell of exposed flesh touched my nostrols, I didn't even bother looking at the two dead girls. So, I started walking. Where? I had no idea. I started going through things that I would need. Well, to start off with, food, you can't live without food, right? And water, I remember that being of utmost importance in the servival shows that I watched once in a blue moon. And, a weapon, I guess, I don't think I'll be able to use one, but I need something. I tried not to think of the thought of me actually using a weapon on another human being. And I would need shelter, from the rain and stuff.

After half an hour of walking, I realized why water was of the utmost importance on those tv shows. And was it just me, or was the climate unrealistically hot? Panting, I sat down in the shade (although it didn't seem to help the heat) to rest. I was laying there, staring into space and trying to comprehend all that had gone on in the last hour, when something bright caught my eye. Something orange. So I got up and walked over to it. When I pushed aside the leaves, I discovered a neon orange back-pack. Excited now, I quickly opened the bag and poured out it's contents. My hopes quickly fell. There was a water bottle, that was EMPTY. Can you believe it?! A pair of sun glasses that didn't even work. And a super thick sleeping bag, like I would need that in this heat! And a couple of tablets, but I'm not even sure what they do. "This is crap." I throw the stuff on the ground and put my head in my hands. How did my life go from perfect to this?

>See? Told you it sucked. And I know I didn't move the plot along at all, but this is all my tired, stressed brain could handle. So I just posted so that you guys know I'm still in there<

Isaac Edgar Whist; District 3

The search for a weapon wasn't going terribly well. Or at least the search for a good weapon wasn't. Isaac had been rummaging in the bushes rather delicately, half afraid of what he might find in there. But more afraid of what, or rather who, might find him. Here something, something. What did he even want anyway? A gun? He'd seen battle royale and there had been lots of guns, but there'd also been things like poisons and big, pointy sword things. Had there been sword things? Isaac wasn't sure how much of it he was remembering and how much he was making up.

This bush was empty though so he moved on to another and thought he saw something shine amongst the leaves. Feeling a rush of excitement, he stooped and pulled out a... a lighter. Oh yeah. He could totally toast someone with that. Whoop-de-do. Just as Isaac was standing up again, he felt someone barrel into him and turned to stare at the boy in surprise. It was one of the boys from the clearing. He was bigger than Isa, though that wasn't hard. A little stocky but not like really stocky. No. More like average build he supposed, and one of those pretty boys with bright, blue eyes and ash-blonde hair. The sort of boys that girls liked. Could he fight? Could he- scar! The boy had a scar on his cheek. He was probably like majorly tough but did that mean - had the boy been trying to tackle him or something? Should he help him up?

From the ground the guy gave Isa a lazy grin and his eyes seemed to be asking the same question: are you going to help me up? Isaac offered a solemn hand and pulled the boy to his feet.

"Hey, thanks. Think I lost him, phew!" The boy looked about a little wildly and then turned back to Isaac with a grin. "What are you doing? Are you looking for the tree guy?" The... tree guy? Isaac wondered if the boy was insane and whether that was a good thing if he was. If he was insane, maybe that confirmed him as a strong killer and just the right boy to offer weapons to. Then again, what use would offering him a lighter be anyway? And maybe if the guy really was insane, he'd just take the weapon and kill him.

"Is that who was chasing you?" Isaac shuffled his feet nervously, he could hear a soft rustling and didn't know if it was the wind or something more sinister. Could some of the kids really be starting to kill already? He supposed it hadn't taken them long in battle royale, but that had been a movie. It might be a very weak prediction of how a bunch of kids, no wait Japanese kids, would react to being told to kill each other. It couldn't really be used as a guide to this situation, so-

"Have you found any weapons yet?" Isaac let out a short scream and spun around to face the voice, stunned to see a girl standing on the other side of the bush he'd found the lighter in. She'd struck a casual pose, hand on one hip and the other loose by her side as she blinked back at them, waiting for an answer. Suddenly Isa thought his lighter very valuable indeed; the prospect of losing it made him think of the fires he could build and the torches he could make. And maybe some kind of insane, crazy trap that would keep them safe. Them? Who was them? Him and that other boy, was he already including the other boy with the friendly smile? Isa tried to slip the lighter into his back pocket, hoping the girl wouldn't see.

"No," he said truthfully - a lighter wasn't a weapon so hah! He scowled a little and hoped the girl would just go away. Girls were sneaky and you couldn't trust them. Oh sure, they looked all weak and helpless, but they weren't really. No. He remembered the girl with the poison in the movie and decided not to let anyone make his food while he was here. Speaking of which, the boy's stomach rumbled and he gave them a sheepish grin.

"Hey, why don't you make us a fire with that lighter you've got and we can try to find something to cook?" the boy suggested. Great. So much for havign a secret lighter.

Dean- Thresh/District 11

Clove huh? This girl didn't seem like a hardcore killer though. I suddenly felt the insane urge to laugh, laugh at these crazy people, laugh and laugh and laugh. But instead, I grabbed Clove/Lynn's arm and started running away from the clearing and towards the field.
"What are you doing?" Clove/Lynn said, her eyes darting around.
"Thresh is supposed to go to the field. I figured that if I went that way, this dude would ignore us for awhile."
"Oh." She said, her eyebrows raised in surprise.
"What?" I said, defensiveness rising in my voice.
"Nothing." she said, a smirk flitting across her face.

I sighed, and kept going, deep into the grains. Images of snakes and scorpions popped into my brain, and I stopped.
Lynn almost knocked into me, and gave me a scowl. "What'd you do that for?"
"Well.. Did it ever occur to you that there may be snakes or scorpions in there? Or something worse?"
"It's either that or get blown to smithereens. I would chose the formal."

I nodded, agreeing. "You're right. Let's keep going."

Well. Turn's out talkative here has actually read the book's. I'm impressed. With a smile I follow him into the field. He seem's a bit insulted by my suprise and sighs. We continue walking, deeper and deeper into the grains of the field. All of a sudden, Thresh/Dean stops short. I almost run into him, but stop myself with my toes.

"What'd you do that for?" I ask with a scowl.

"Well...Did it ever occur to you there may be snakes or scorpions in there? Or something worse?"

It takes all my will not to roll my eyes. Of all the things in the Hunger Games to worry about, he's worried about snakes and scorpions? Great. just great.

"It's either that or get blown to smithereens. I would choose the former."

He nodded in agreement. "You're right let's keep going."

With a smile, I continue to follow him through the field. Minutes pass and we continue to walk aimless through the field. The grain starts to become more scarce and a thought strikes me. I can't believe I didn't think of it before!

"Damn it! We don't have any weapons!"

Dean look's at me. "You're right. We'll start looking around. I mean, can't be hard."

"Guess your right."

There's another silence as our walking slows and we both begin to look around for supplies. We can't be more than ten or fifeteen minutes off what was pressumably the Cornipuca. There should still be some supplies this far out, if we don't go much further. We begin to walk along the side of the field, looking for weapons.

"Find anything yet?" Dean asked after fifeteen minutes of looking around.

"No."

Dean pushed asides some grain while I look up through the tree line. There! Was that...an orange bag?

"Lynn? Something wrong?"

"Up there! There's something up there."

Dean follows my gaze, his eyes lighting up when he see's the orange thing in a pine tree.

"Yes! That has to have supplies! I'll go get it!"

He begins to walk towards the city and I have the sudden urge to grab his arm and keep him back with me. The bag seems pretty high up. It would be diffucult to get it without hurting yourself. Still, I don't reach out. That reclusive bug inside me keep's me from opening up drags me back.

"It's pretty high up... don't do anything stupid, kay? Don't kill yourself yet."

"I'll be fine." Dean shakes my comment off.

He begins to run towards the tree, grasping it. He begins to scale the tree, working his way up the tree slowly. Carefully, almost. He grabs cranch after branch in an effort to steady himself. He get's closer and closer to the bag as the branches thin out. I watch as he reaches for the bag...

Dean-District 11/Thresh
I'm half way up the tree and reaching for the bag when I look down. Her head is almost below me, and she's looking up, biting her lip. She almost looks worried. Her long dark hair is falling over her shoulder, and it almost sparkles in the sunlight. Don't get distracted, I tell myself, trying not to look down. It's hard though. She's really pretty. In my head, I wonder what would happen if we weren't in here. Didn't have to kill people. But, she would never go for a dork like me. I think.

I consider turning on the charm, as I grab the backpack and started shimming down the tree, but I don't think it's worth it. She doesn't seem like a girl who would go for it, somehow.

Don't let this die, guys!

Lynette-Clove

I breathed a sigh of relief as Dean scuttled down the tree. I wasn't sure really, why I was worried. Maybe I didn't want to loose an ally so early on...? Oh well. Whatever. I took the pack from Dean, managing a smile for his sake. He grinned back, flashing one of those 'perfectly white jock smiles.' Was that the kind of boy he was? I sighed.

"Thank you for getting that. I'd never be able to do that."

His grin started to fade. "Whaddya mean?"

"Oh. Um..." I stuttered, sorry I had already revealed a little too much about myself. "I'm not good with trees."

"Oh. Okay." Dean shook it off.

I lean down on the ground, shuffling through the bag. Evidently, the 'President Snow' had done his research. The bag's items resembled what I guessed would be in a Hunger Game's bag. A water bottle, a wound up rain poncho, and a few other meger things I pay little attention to. My eyes catch only one thing- a knife. My eyes fell on the knife and I sighed. Dean might've caught on, but he didn't say anything. Smart move. I look up, hearing a russling in the bushes. I think I see a flash of a hand raising, yelling--

"Dean, duck!"
