You're actually not that young. We had a lot of eleven-year olds a while ago (but I think they've all turned twelve now). So there should be quite a few people your age hanging around.

And there are a few people that are "honorary eleven-year-olds"... like me... lol.

So welcome to the site!

Hello, hevc. :D I'm glad you found the place. There's an overabundance of people to ask questions of, so assuming you need to, you shouldn't have any trouble.

Very interesting writing - I read the short about Micheaux (that is the spelling, yes?) and I'm still thinking about it... I'll have to think before I give any certain comment. Great imagery in characters...

My pleasure. 8) ...it is Michaux, isn't it? Off by just one letter; I feel dull.

Hello all. My name is Gregoria, and I'm a new member. If you're wondering what the lymphatic rebellion is, I'll tell you. It is just a fancy name for the auto-immune catergory of diseases, and a metaphor for anything that is made to do something helpful and turns on its master. Kind of like Asimov's "I, robot." For now I just plan to comment and be entertained by all of your wonderful stories, but I'm considering writing a story and releasing it in section on this site. It would probably be some form of sci-fi. Bye-bye!

I was wondering why your name was that. xD

Well, I'm glad we have another pathologist on the site! Welcome! :D

Hey Jay (sorry - rhymes)! Welcome to YWS. You might want to check out the FAQ.

As to points, they're for posting. In other words, you gain points for participating in any literary forum, posting a story or commenting on someone else's. But it costs points to simply hang out in lounge, or post entirely arbitrary remarks in "Randomness".

Does that make sense? I suppose it's meant to encourage the YWS denizens to write and read more than post pointless entertainment.
