Name: Luke Shadows

Code name (Same initials): Lance Silverwood

Gender: Male

Age (12 on): 17
Spoiler
I know that there are so many people that are 17, but it was between this and 16 and the coin landed on heads.

Appearance: (Picture please. No anime)
Spoiler

History: Luke grew up in a rich house because his mother was (and as far as he knows still is) a well renown scientist. For that reason he didn't get to spend that much time with his mom, but he still loves her completely. He doesn't know much of anything about his father. The one time he asked his mom about him she got a sad look in her eye before changing the subject. He's never seen his brother or sister. Which makes the maid, who his mother has known for years, the only other person he's had contact with.
He's also done some research on the law against third children and think there may be more to it than meets the eye.
Spoiler
Made you look! He'll tell somebody when he feels like it.
His mother just recently decided to send him to the academy to 'expand his knowledge'.

Up for love? And orientation: If it happens. Straight

Skills and Weaknesses:
-He's self sufficient and disciplined. He basically taught himself with books and the internet.
-He knows two other languages, (Japanese and Spanish) but he hasn't had much practice conversing with others.
-He isn't exactly athletic, but he keeps himself fit.
-He lacks tact.
-He needs exactly 8 hours of sleep or else he gets irritable.
-He HATES making mistakes. Seriously, he'll stay up half the night playing it over and over in his head trying to figure out how to fix it and how to avoid making the same mistake in the future.

Other: He practices moving meditation to keep his stress levels down.

Personality: He's independent, analytical and logical. He loves studying new theories and ideas. He's introverted but not apprehensive about social interaction, in fact, he highly values the knowledge and perspectives others can give him. But he doesn't like or respect people that "goof off".
Spoiler
I know this is a pretty basic outline, so if you have any questions I reserve the right to not answer them. 8) Have I mentioned that I love spoilers? :D
Admiration: Our polite recognition of another's resemblance to ourselves.

Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

The fact that, my mother dropped me here, all alone disturbs me. I've never been alone, she knows I hate that.
I look around, trying to find someone to talk to, and catch a girls eye. Her long black hair was in a messy ponytail, and she looks like she is as uncomfortable as I am. As I start towards her, the old fear gnaws at my stomach. I can't approach her. I can't. I turn quickly, and before she can head this way, I pull the hood of my sweatshirt over my head. I can't let anyone see me. I just can't.

They say that Hidden Children never get over wanting to be hidden, part of the crowd. He hadn't wanted to leave. Stupid Sister. Stupid Law. Stupid school.

Maybe, if he slipped away, no one would notice....

pretty much useless post, but it should start the ball rolling.

I feel so idle and alone. We're going to come back for you, they said. Psh, yeah right. They'll just live a more normal life with my "caring" parents. I roll my eyes at the thought and try to get a distraction. I see a guy, definitely trying to conceal himself. I approach the guy.

"You know, just pulling your hood up would only make you seem more noticeable," I confirm. The guy looked at me with a surprised face.

"Sorry about my accent. I know, it's pretty random," I said.

(Hope this is okay!)

Jaxon Danny~

"Try not to come back."

I ignored father's hostile comment like routine and grabbed my bag from the back seat. A smoking cigarette hung from my mouth and I took a long drag, attempting to relieve the stress simply being in the other man's presence caused me. I'd gotten all my things and gave Kayla a last hug, she was the only one who willingly came to see me off. Mother and my other sister were at home, probably celebrating my leave.

"I love you Jaxon," she said dully. I smiled at her and ruffled her hair affectionately.

"It's Jayson now," I joked with her. She looked up at me in confusion and I sighed. "Just kidding. I'll see you later, Kayla."

"Hopefully not," Dad interjected. I glared at him and slung my messenger bag over my shoulder.

"Shut up, Dad."

I shut the door and he sped off before the thing even fully closed. I just rolled my eyes, put on my shades, and took a drag. I couldn't let things like Father get to me. I had a new school, a new name, a new life. I wasn't going to mess this up. I was no longer a outcast, this school was filled with people just like me. Hidden. No more basements.

I look around coolly, scanning my surroundings and searching for a place I can sit and relax. I had a pack of Marlboro's, a music player, and a book. I was ready to go.

After a minute or two of aimless wandering I found a flower bed that I could rest on.

Watching people come and go was interesting to say the least, some departures were emotional, some tense, and one was even physically violent. I got up to help, not wanting anyone to get hurt. But, as soon as I put everything down and started jogging off towards the van it suddenly sped away. I shrugged walked back to my flower bed, stretching out my legs when I finally got there. I threw my head back and let the sun warm my face. It was nice here. I liked it.

That was until I reached in my pocket for my smokes realized I realized they were gone. That was not nice at all. Paranoia instantly set in and I jumped up to look for them. I must have dropped them when I went for that car. I could feel my resolve and cool melting away.

I needed to find that pack.

Mason and Persephone

"I hate being here." Mason scowled, glanching idly at the new arrivals.

"They look scared." Persephone observed. "We should greet someone. It's not like we have any friends." She glared pointedly at her older sister.

"It's not my fault I hate everyone here!" Mason snapped.

Persephone sighed and pointed to a guy and girl talking. "Let's go say hi."

Mason opened her mouth to protest, but Persephone was already walking over to them. She sighed and followed.

"Hi!" Persephone called as she stopped in front of them. "I'm Persephone and this is my sister, Mason."

Before the guy could respond, two girls- one happy to come, the other seems angry- came. They both had black hair, except the happy one has long, wavy hair while the other has short, spiky hair.

"Hi! I'm Persephone and this is my sister, Mason," the happy one greeted. She stuck her hand out. I gave them a small smile and shook her hand.

"Saffy, Saffy Hampton," I introduced myself. Persophone nodded while Mason had a straight face. Persephone moved on to the boy, who just tried to conceal himself.

"And you are?" she asked. The boy looked up.

"Edric," he simply said. I nodded my head.

Enola (Ella)

I walked up to a group of people, trying my best to fit in.
"Hi! One girl burst out, her face smiling. The smile didn't quite reach her eyes. Strange.
"Hello." I said, trying to disguise my country accent.
"What's your name?" another girl asked. She had pretty long wavy black hair that hung to her waist, and dark skin. Pretty. I guess.
"Ella. Ella." I said it twice, trying to get used to the strange word on my tongue. In my mind I heard Enola Enola Enola
"Hi Ella." said the only guy of the group, looking at me dully. I looked him up and down and tried to smile. It didn't quite work. He had choppy black hair, which suited him, but it was his eyes that surprised me. Here, in the darkness of the overhanging, they looked scarlet. Cool.

"Hi. Who are you?"
"Ethan."

The other girls looked at him oddly, and I wondered what this was about. "Hi Ethan." The smile worked this time.

The hostile girl turned away, her spiky hair glinting. I wonder how she did that....

Edric (Ethan)
Dang it! I told the girls my real name. Isn't that the one thing Mother told me not too? Agh. I don't fit in here.
Now those girls are talking about who knew what. The only girl not talking was Ella. She was looking around, nervously.
Now was the time to slip away.

I walked a couple of feet away, and heard foot steps behind me. Turning, I saw it was the girl again, Ella.
"Following me?" I said, trying my best to keep an even tone.
She nodded. "I have no interest of what guys are 'cute'."
"mmm," I said, nodding, trying to keep a straight face. This girl looked weird. Uncomfortable.

As my grandparents dropped me off, I thought over what my mother told me. Six years ago, she took me from my father and brought me to my grandparents. Before leaving, she told me, "Your life is too fragile to be a crime. You deserve to live, but die. Remember, you have a life that mustn't be taken." Since then, I've lived under the roof of my grandparents. I went into the crowd and struggled to make myself scarce. I put on shades to hide my eyes, since it seemed that everybody else had normal kind of eyes.
Someone said, "Hey there, mister. What's with the shades?"
I stopped dead in my tracks, nervous and scared.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
