Rogues and Pets vs. Dolls [closed/starting]

Tess:

Something was jabbing into my back. It was the only reason I wasn't making fun of Jared for losing his temper. I must say, he was impressive, when he tried.
Crap that bump in my bag was annoying me!
I stopped in the middle of the road and took off my bag, already searching through it to where the bump was. I pulled out the thing and smiled.
The last peice of candy.
I quickly began to unwrap my treat when it was suddenly snatched from my veiw. I glared up at...
"Jared! Give it back!"
"No way. Now stop acting like a blind idiot and keep walking." He snapped, shoving the sweet goodness in his pocket.
I hopped up and pulled back my hand to punch him. "You son of a monk!"
His hand shot up and stopped my fist. I jerked against him. Jared had gotten stronger. A few days ago I could have pulled away easily. Now I couldn't even wiggle my fingers.
"Don't call me a liar. Only a fool could miss Everlee-" Jared hissed, but I cut him off.
"I am not a fool! I've seen her crying. I know that she is stressed and upset. Don't act like an idiot and think that I can't see through her."
Jared stared at me in shock at my outburst. For once I was really mad at him. I mean, before I had gotten irritated. But now, I could've slapped him.
How could he think that after all this time of knowing Everlee, I couldn't read her like a book? He was even more an idiot than I thought.
I jerked my fist ou tof his grasp. "Then why do you keep on-"
I cut him off again. "Because, they need something on their minds other than battles and love-lifes." I looked at Everlee as she pulled ahead. She was talking to Niyah.
"I act like this because she needs something to do other than think of how she'll be leading her friends into their deaths." I gave a small smile and looked back to jared. "In that way we have a small similarity."
He stared at me for a moment, then turned and began walking away. I stared after him for a second, before he sent the candy flying straight for my face.
I gave a small cry and caught it. He didn't say a word. Didn't break a stride. Just kept walking. I smiled. Jared was always like that, other than when he was an idiot.
I shoved the candy back in my bag and went on my way.
I had a very specail plan for it.

(Sheesh, I hate school...)

Keradon

I walk back into the camp, only to find that it is no longer there. I sigh and grab my bag, following the tracks that lead into the forest. I didn't even get to eat breakfast... I grumble mentally. Suddenly something thumps on my head and I catch it as it rolls off. It's an apple. I look up to see Resh giving me a grin.

"Breakfast sir?" He says smugly, jumping onto my shoulder. I bite into the apple thanklessly. "That girl seemed pretty excited that you killed Aire."

"Well he was sexually harassing her." I say bluntly. "But it doesn't matter. All I care about right now is finding the group so i can kill Davnick." As I say that, the little blond Doll bounty hunter flies past me. I'm surprised to see that it's Jared who sent her flying. She bounds up and walks primly back to camp. She does realize it isn't there anymore, right?

Apparently not. Resh replies. I shake my head and jog to catch up with the rest of the group, finishing my apple. Before I can reach Davnick or Kar-Sheara or anybody else, the girl with black hair and purple eyes runs up to me. Tess. Resh informs me. Tess smiles, holding out her hand.

"Hey Keradon! You look awful." She says. I glare.

"Well thanks." I say, rolling my eyes and trying to side step her. She blocks my path.

"Here, take this. It'll make you feel better." She grabs my hand and pushes something small into it, then turns and walks away. What an odd girl. I think, glancing at what she put in my hand.

It's a colorfully wrapped piece of candy. I've never had candy, my parents had said it was bad for me and my guardians had said the same. I'm tempted by the small thing, and before I even consider poison, it's unwrapped and in my mouth. It's sweetness tickles my tongue, and a tingle starts up in my head. Master... Resh warns, but I ignore him. I've never felt so good.

I skip up to the rest of the group with a giggle, and it looks like the whole world around me is quivering with my laughter. I poke Davnick and he glares at me. "What do you want?" He snaps. I giggle.

"I like when chickens make that oink noise. Don't you like it?" I ask him. Part of me realizes that what I just said is complete and utter nonsense, but that part is being swallowed by a part that finds what I just said absolutely hilarious. I break into another fit of giggles and Davnick looks at me like I'm insane. Then he glares behind me.

"Tess!" He thunders. "What did you do?"

(Sorry, I haven't posted in forever and a day!! I think it'll be easier now though!)

Tess:

"What? Why do you automatically blame me?" I say as innocently as possible.
"Because you're the only one with candy." Davnick says, trying to hold Keradon away from his bag. Keradon was mumbling something about it being his teddy.
"It...must've fell out of my pocket." I say as if I had to think about it.
Jared stares at Davnick struggling with his brother only for a moment before bursting into a fit of laughter.
Davnick sent him a death glare. "What...Is so funny- Stop gnawing on my hand! -about this?"
"It looks like you're fighting yourself! Hahaha!" Jared fell back onto thin air. I let a laugh escape me. Now Davnick was sending death glares flying between me and Jared.
Davnick shoved Keradon away. "Stop Laughing!" He said, talking with his hands. Keradon saw and glared, matching Davnick's face perfectly, and doing exactly like he was.
"Nothing about this is funny! Tess! How long is this going to last! Because I cannot ...stand..." Davnick twirled around, but before he could look at Keradon, he was standing and lookeing at the clouds, as if he was totally innocent. Davnick stared at him suspisciously, then went back to talking. The second he was talking again, Keradon was back to mocking him.
I covered my mouth, trying to hold back giggles, but I couldn't last long. Davnick(Maybe I should start calling him Davy. That would annoy him so much!) stopped talking, glared, and just started walking again. Keradon smiled, gave a shout of joy, and skipped after him.
Jared walked up to me as Davy was trying to pry Keradon from his waist.
I held out my fist, and he punched it.
What a great way to start a walk.

(School, school, sickness, and more school...forgive me!)

-Sheara

I couldn't help but laugh at the random things Keradon was saying. Davy shoved him in the face hard to get him to let go of his waist. Keradon landed on his back, then bounced right back up. He ran over to me with a serious face.

"Did you know that frogs can fly?" I giggled, then played along.

"Oh my goodness! They can? Do they have invisable wings?" I asked dramaticly. Keradon's eyes went wide and he leaned in until his nose was only a few inches from mine.

"No, no, they have no wings...so how, you ask, can they fly? Well you see...frogs. are. magical." He whispered, then he flung himself on the ground in front of me, laughing his head off. I tried to hold in my laughter, but then Poca jumped on a branch nearby.

"I think-his brain-imploded." Now I was rolling on the ground too, laughing so hard that no sound came out. Keradon was funny! I liked him!

-Poca
You...have got-to be-kidding me... This grown man was rolling in the dirt like a child, practicaly laughing his heart out.
This is so-embarassing...I can't believe-I-belong to the-same family. I played with the idea of whether or not to eat him so save what little honor our family name had left.
Nah...Sheara-would be-too upset...not to-mention he might-taste-even worse than-his brother. I shuttered at the memory. Gross...

(Sorry for shortness! School is horrible, and I am sick, but I will try to keep up!)

I should probably get back into this

Everlee

I stare at Lydia's stupidity with a blank expression, although, on the inside, I'm planning Lydia's doom. How dare she think that she could hurt Jared and get away with it? Or any of us for that matter. I could kill her with my pinky, and I'm not the most powerful rogue here. Niyah walks closely behind me for awhile. It's probably about mid-day by the time I hear the first laughter.

I pause, turning around, and watch as Jared and Tess about roll on the ground laughing hysterically. I look at them confused until I see Davnick and Keradon wrestling in the dirt. Keradon lets out an almost squeal of laughter.

I turn and look back to Tess, my closest friend. It's nice to see her smile, even if it is off of another's pain. Somehow, I feel the corners of my mouth turn up into a small smile. Small, but it's a smile nonetheless.

Seena walks causiously around Davnick and Keradon and comes to stand beside Niyah and myself. She looks over at me and stares for a minute before she looks away.

"You know," she says without moving her eyes from the boys. "I think that's the first time I've seen you smile in a while."

My smile disappears as the realization hits me that she's probably right.

"I... uh...." I fumble.

"Don't worry, you don't have to tell me," Seena says with a smile. She looks over to me. "I just want you to know that we're all here for you."

I nod. "Thanks."

I feel eyes burn into my back. He heard. Skylar heard.

Everlee, I don't like this new mood, Darren whispers.

I nod. Ya, neither do I.

You're worrying alot of our group... and I don't think Skylar believes you completely. Darren mutters. I know the last part is a lie. I almost laugh at my pet's weak attempt at making me either change or fix the problem.

I turn back around and start to walk down the path with one thought in my mind; I have to at least act stronger... for the group.

"Hey, Tess!" I call over my shoulder. "You should have given some of that candy to Davnick too! That way we'd have two high and slap happy rogues wrestling on the ground."

Tess:

"Good idea!" I shout back to Everlee. I start rummaging through my bag. "Maybe I have some sugar....AHA!"
I whip out a small rag and quickly unwrap it. I take a pinch of sugar(don't want him exploding on us)and run over to the wrestling brothers.
Now to get him to eat it.
"Time for lunch!" I call. Taking out a few biscuits. Keradon smiles and jumps up from his fighting. Davnick lays gasping on the ground. I smile. The perfect distraction.
I passed out the biscuits, making sure Davnick got the very specail one.
Now time for insanity.

(Go shortness! )

Davnick

I lay on the ground, grumbling in irritation for a while. Moron. I'm so not in the mood to play right now. I think, glaring after Keradon who is choking on one of Tess' biscuits. She laughs, then hands one to me. I sit up and take a huge bite, chewing furiously to try and relieve some of my tension. First Keradon nearly kills everybody, the Sheara is Kara, then Everlee.... I look over to her, and feel a twinge. I don't know what's going on with me, but I've been thinking about her all day. I feel horrible that I made her sad, but I just don't know why.

Seena is with her, and she puts a lump in my throat just looking at her. Will I need to push her away too? I don't know what I'm going to do about our upcoming battle, because if we loose they'll get hurt no matter how detached I become. What am I going to do...

I cram the rest of the biscuit into my mouth and chew more slowly this time, closing my eyes to try and relax. I let the hearty bread fill my senses, the buttery taste and lumpy texture. This one is strangely sweet though, like somebody took some sugar and just....

My eyes snap open and I nearly choke on the sugar-spiked food. Tess is giving me a wicked grin and rubbing her hands together. I jump up, coughing and sputtering, trying to spit out the biscuit. It's too late though, I've swallowed most of it. I stalk towards Tess and grab her by the front of the shirt. "Where do you get off trying to-" I start, but she points off to her side, shouting excitedly.

"Look Davnick, a rabbit!" She shouts. I follow her finger without thinking, excitement bubbling up inside me.

"Where!?" I shout, dropping her shirt. I can't even remember why I grabbed it in the first place. The world around me is bright and happy, and there is a flower singing a silly tune near the path. I look for the rabbit as a tree starts dancing the Tango with an elephant. I feel an insane giggle burst out of me as my last shred of sanity gets swallowed by the mad dance of sugar and color.

Something catches my eye. I turn to see Keradon rubbing up against Seena and Everlee's legs. A growl rumbles deep in my throat. I scramble on all fours over to Keradon and bark at him. He makes a sound like a surprised cat and runs to the nearest tree, scrambling up the trunk. I sit at the bottom, making threatining noises for a few minutes. When I'm satisfied he wont come down, I stand and walk proudly over to Sheara. "Oh my Pricess!" I cry, looking at the shiny royal crown on her head. "What are you doing here? We weren't expecting you till Tuesday!"

There are giggles behind me and I turn to see Seena, Everlee and Niyah laughing for no reason. They must be crazy. I think. Something shiny catches my eye. "COME BACK HERE YOU FEIND!!!" I shout, chasing whatever it was that shimmered.

(I love sugar. =D)

Rayden:

"What in God's name?!?" I asked no body in particular, as Keradon ran past Reva and me giggling like a manic girl. I stare dumbfounded as he scrambled around skipping and dancing. I almost choke laughing when he tackles Davnick and starts to snuggle him, all the while Davnick is swearing and fighting him off.

I look over at Reva grinning, I'm happy to see her really smile- she really does have a wonderful smile.


Tess runs past us with some biscuits in her hands, and a devilish grin on her face- that can't be good. I don't know her myself but from what Seena had told me Tess smiling like that isn't a good thing. She hands the biscuits to Davnick and Keradon still grinning.

"Uh-oh." I hear Everlee say, then a snicker I know was Seena, even Nyiah let's out a quiet shy giggle.

Keradon devours his bread like it's cake- oh lord, cake. what I wouldn't give for a thick slice of cake.
Davnick eats his, starts to splutter and then rages towards Tess shouting about sugar.

Now I know sugar isn't the best thing to give a rouge- or better put pure sugar. it messes with us in usually not pretty ways.

All of a sudden in the middle of his rant Davnick stops and turned sharply around. his eyes were all glassy, pupils dilated until all of his eye seemed black and he has a frightening blank look on his face.

"Uh, Davnick? are you alright?" Reva calls out to him, but I hardly noticed. Keradon seemed to have been struck with the idea that he was a cat and was rubbing, and weaving himself amid Everlee and Seena's legs- Now that wouldn't do, sugar or no, that's just not okay. I started towards him.

"Oi! Keradon, come on kitty." I begin to make cat calling noises humoring him. "Come here kitty- fiss, fiss ,fiss." he looks at me and hisses, spitting just like a cat. Seena is almost expiring with laughter, Everlee is leaning against Nyiah, both were crying with mirth.

"Tess what did you give them?" I shout as Davnick runs past me- on all fours mind you- and begins to chase Keradon barking at him all the while. He tree'd him a moment later and trots back to Seena looking very proud.

"What dose he expect a treat and tummy rub?" Jerad says, staring somewhere between horror and hilarity at Davnick.

Tummy rub? Oh heck no!

Suddenly Davnick looked towards me, eyes still vacant and a truly terrifying smile spread over his face- it was like looking into the devil eyes of some ghoulish nightmare.

"COME BACK HERE YOU SHINY FIEND!!!" he screamed- shrieked almost, and came charging right at me hands outstretched!

I bolted away howling for Seena and trying to avoid Davnicks clawing hands- holy Moses what he fast!

"The hell Tarish!?! Seena! SEENA!!!"

Once again I found myself tearing away from my sisters friends, running for my life. Once had been away from Dasor, Reva's tiger who had tried to kill me. And now from Davnick who was trying to snuggle me.

...I think I preferred the Tiger.


(I hope this was alight. )

Seena

"COME BACK HERE YOU SHINY FIEND!!!" Davnick screams. He turns and bolts after Rayden.

"The hell Tarish!?! Seena! SEENA!!!" Rayden yells at me as he runs.

I try not to snicker. "What do you want me to do about it?!" I yell after him.

"ANYTHING!!!"

"Tess," Everlee says behind me. "I wasn't serious!" she says with a small chuckle.

I laugh but focus on stopping Davnick. I look around and quickly find and pick up a stick. "Davnick!" I call. "Come here Davnick!"

Davnick stops. If he were a dog, you would have seen him prick his ears. He turn around and looks at me. I wave the stick back and forth.

"Want the stick?" I ask. Davnick runs back over. "RayRay, I think you're okay now!" I shout. I look back to Davnick. "Davnick, are feeling alright?" I ask.

Davnick looks up to me in confusion. He stands up quickly and brushes the dirt from his clothes. "Of course I am," he states.

"Huh?" Tess whispers behind me.

"What?" Everlee asks.

"That wore off quickly," she says in almost confusion.

Everlee laughs, and then stops short. "Tess..."

"Ya?"

"Doesn't your head freeze over after the candy wears off?"

"Yes. I seenze... But what does..." Tess' voice freezes as she understands. "Um."

"Seena!" Keradon shouts from the tree. He jumps down, landing perfectly on his feet like a cat. He runs over and pushes Davnick out of the way.

"What?" I ask, jumping in with fake enthusiasm.

Keradon sucks in breath quickly. "Possum attack!!!" he shouts. Davnick and Keradon fall to the ground together and freeze.

"What?" I ask.

Keradon and Davnick pop back up. Davnick pushes Keradon aside. "Get it? Get it? Get it? Get it? Get it?" he asks repeatedly.

"Get it? Get it? Get it? Get it? Get it?" Keradon joins in.

I back up until I hit a tree. The two brothers continue to ask me the same question.

"Tess!" I shout. "I'm gonna' kill you!"

Alright, let's see if we can get this moving again!

Tess:

I laughed hysterically at Seena's threat. "Alright! Alright alright alright, I'll help. Tarish! Come here Tarish. That's a good boy!" I shout. Both Tarish' turn towards me and run. I give shout and duck as Davnick throws some sand at me, shouting "Creeper! Stranger Danger! Stranger Danger!!" over and over again. Finally I get tired of it and decide something.
I lean down and touch the ground. A ripple of ice spreads out beneath the two boys. With a stomp to the sheet, the boys asre suddenly caught in a huge ice hamster ball.
At first the stare with glee, and then they're pressing they're faces against it, making funny faces at me. i laugh some more, as they start to roll around. I flick me finger and the ball rolls down the path.
"Ha! That'll hurt when the candy whears off!" Rayden says, as we watch them roll over and over agian away. I laugh and start to follow them.

(Hopefully all we needed was somebody to start us off! )

Tige:

-If I go unchanged?” what was she talking about?

She looked at me fixedly again, strangely slanted eyes unblinking, thin lips pursed into a fretful frown. She seemed to be able to read my mind for as soon as the questions started pouring into my mind she laughed.

“Oh goodness, you are a impatient one aren't you? One question at a time please.” I growled at her,

-how could she be laughing!? How could she? How dare she!

“Where am I?” she rolled her eyes slightly and sighed, long and heavy like one who suffers fools gladly.

“I already told you, the “in between place”.”

“What is that supposed to mean?” I tried to stand but just couldn't, the pain in my chest flared up again. I was almost wild with- what? Something I couldn't put into words.

“What is the “in between place”?” she said tilting her head to the side. “ In a word- Purgatory.”

I blanched.

-Purgatory? It was real?.....was Seena?

“No she's not here. That last bit of power you gave her saved her life. You let yourself take the brunt of that attack to save her- one might almost call that selfless.” this woman seemed to know what I though even before I did.

“I do. Your thoughts are like an open book to me. In fact, all of you is an open book. I can read both parts as easily as the next person can read a novel- except your story if far more interesting. It's like a mystery that the main character can't solve without help.” she walked nearer to me, I growled warningly. “Oh please don't be foolish.”

Elegantly she knelt down and brushed the fur out of my face, then tilted my head this way and that way- I groaned in pain as she did.

“It's such a pity,” she said standing again. “you would have made a very handsome man, if you had lived.” I stared,

“What?”

Niyah couldn't stop laughing, it began as only a giggle then grew. She couldn't help it. The look on Keradon's adorable face as he actually acted like a kid. She wanted to hug him, despite the craziness. And Davnick...no words could describe the sight of him running around lie a little kid.
The glass orb fell to the earth, shattering into a million glistening shards. the two boys within blinked, silent for a moment, burst into laughter.
"That was fun! Do it again, do it again!" Keradon cried in delight, rolling in the dirt. Then he leapt to his feet, suddenly serious. He marched towards Niyah, and she felt her heart begin to pound. He stopped only inches from her face, then took a deep breath in.
"You smell good." he murmured. Then he pushed her to the ground with a laugh, and leapt over her, heading towards a very surprised looking Poca.
"Give me the pretty Bunny!" He screamed. Poca blinked, then quickly dodged out of his way. Keradon continued running, promptly jamming his head into a hole in a tree.
"What, how'd he..." Jared began to ask, dumbfounded. but before he could finish Davnick came bounding up past him, knocking Jared to the ground.
"Keradon! Wait for me! Wait for me!" he cried, a goofy smile on his face. But before he could reach his brother, he tripped over Niyah(much to her dislike) and went tumbling into Seena. The two fell to the ground, Davnick starring down at Seena with a smile. He leaned down, lips brushing her cheek, then popped back to his feet.
"Whoops! Sorry!" He cried, then ran to his brothers side.
"Poca? Where are you fuzzy bunny?" Keradon called into the tree. poca, who had since re-positioned herself on his back, smiled deviously.
"What a fool. No wonder their brothers."
'What'chya lookin' for?" Davnick asked.
"The white 'rabby fell down this whole. I'm trying to find her. Oh Poca!"

(It has been a while...sorry about that...)

-Poca

Idiots. All men-are.

Keradon had his head lodged into a hole in a tree, apparently trying to find me.

"Come back, Poca! POCA! YOU SHOULDN'T GO DOWN THERE YOURSELF POCA! A LITTLE WHITE RABBIT LIKE YOU COULD GET HURT! IT'S DAAAAAAAANGEROUS!!!"
He yelled with all his might from inside the tree. I was sitting on his back while he was stuck in a bent-over position. I looked at his funny posture and debated with the temptation of nipping the back of his pants. It would be somewhat amusing if he screamed like a little girl...and even more so if he couldn't get his head out of the tree to stop me...

Davnick leaned down toward the hole.

"Keradon! What's wrong?!" He asked the tree-head.

"Poca is in trouble! She is going to get hurt! And as Warriors of the Royal Purple Monkey, it is our duty to protect the White Rabbit princess! We cannot fail!"
I blinked hard.
"...what?"
Davnick suddenly snapped back up.
"You're right! We must protect our damsel! We must find her!"
He looked around rapidly and tensed his shoulders, like someone who was looking for something they just dropped.

I tilted my head and scrunched my nose.
"YOUR damsel? Your-DAMSEL? I'm-not-sure which part-is weirder."

Davnick froze where he stood, then turned his body slowly and robotically until he could stare at me directly.
"P...Poca? Is that really you?" He stuttered as if I was a long lost loved one.

I rolled my eyes.
"Of course-it's-me idiot. I've-been here the-whole time."

Davnick continued to stare, then darted over to me, his face not an inch from mine.
Woooooooh! Personal-bubble invasion! I leaned away from him and cocked an eyebrow.
"...Can I-help you?" I asked, a little freaked out by this hyper-toddler in an adult-man body.
His eyes widened, and he slowly drew in a deep breath. He held it there for a moment, still staring at me.
Was he holding his breath?

"IT'S OKAY KERADON! I FOUND POCA! THE LITTLE WHITE RABBIT LIVES!!!"
He screamed into my face, leaving me deaf. My ears rang and I reeled back in surprise, rolling off Keradon's back and onto the ground. I pressed my paws to my ears in pain.
...Brothers...yeah-I can-see the-resemblance...

"Owwwwww..."

(Hehe, that was fun! Tell me if anything needs changing! )

(Rayden has been whining at me for the last week and a half- little bugger that he is!)

Rayden:

I stared at Davnick and Keradon somewhere halfway between evil enjoyment and abject terror.

"My God! what's wrong with them?" I asked no one in particular staring wide eyed at the seemingly possessed brothers. Just then Davnick looked at Poca who was sitting on Keradons back as the latter had his head wedged in a tree.

"IT'S OKAY KERADON! I FOUND POCA! THE LITTLE WHITE RABBIT LIVES!!!" Davnick screamed, even I flinched at his shouting. I looked ruefully over at Seena who was giggling uncontrollably.

"Are you sure HE is the kind of man you want?" she looked over to rolling here eyes.

"Your not going to let this go are you?" she said grinning with a challenging gleam in her eye, I put an arm around her shoulder and gave her one of my half hugs.

"Nope." she giggled again as Davnick started dancing around screaming.

"THEY'RE AFTER ME!!! HELP! THE EVIL GREEN GREMLINS FROM THE MOON!" then Keradon form inside the tree joined him in his shouts.

"DON'T LET THEM GET MY SOCKS! THEY'LL EAT MY SOCKS!" As I watched them a growing feeling of dread crept up my spine, I looked down at Seena.

"Do I get like that when I each sugar?" She looked up at me and burst into another fit of giggles.

"Um, not like this, but you get REALLY hyper and giggly." Reva looked at Seena sharply and grinned wickedly.

"He giggles?" Seena nodded innocently enough.

"Yep, he has such an adorable giggle too and one time-"

"Okay thank you Seena that's enough of that!" I interrupted her, Reva glared at me, then turned back to Seena.

"Go on."

"No really, you don't. No one needs to hear childhood stories of mine. let's talk about something else." I saw the look that passed between the two of them and I groaned- so much for my male pride.

Jared:

I began laughing hysterically. It was so nice to see people who used to be threats acting like idiots.
Tess looked at me with a questioning look. "Did you get into my sugar too?"
I laughed harder. "NO!" I shouted between giggles. "Why...didn't...you use...the sugar before?" I gasped.
"She smiled and shrugged. "Sugar's different than candy. It makes them hallucinate, while candy just makes you go hyper." She laughed at Davnick dodging invisible objects.
I laughed with her. It felt nice, laughing till I cried. I didn't get to do that a lot. Amy wasn't the funniest pet.
Nyx flew out of nowhere and landed on Davnick's head, wanting to join the fun.
"I am the king! You must do as I command." She squaked into Davnick's ear. He stopped moving. "That's it. Now, take me to Wonderland, my blithering troops!"
"Hey! That's my line!" Tess shouted.
Davnick began walking around like a soilder, and then kicked Keradon. "Move it! It's my turn in Wonderland!"
A mmble came from the hole, and I laughed harder.
"Did he just say the platypus says no?" I gasp.
Tess shakes her head, clutching her sides. "No, he said, 'the hippopattumus glows!'"
We break into another fit of laughter.
