Rogues and Pets vs. Dolls [closed/starting]

AWWWW! I almost cried!!!!

Seena

I pull myself closer, burring my head in my hands. His arms wrap around me and all I can do is cry. He kisses my head. I breathe in jaggedly, and all I smell is the familar smell of my brother. I try to stop crying, but the tears keep flowing. With his arms around me, I feel safe, a feeling I haven't felt in eight years.

"Why didn't you come?" I whisper, trying to pull against him. My own body refuses to move, traitor. "Why didn't you come for me, RayRay?" I beg.

"I'm sorry," RayRay whispers in my head. "I'm so sorry," he whispers over and over.

A hand pushes me back, and Rayden's arms are gone. I look up as Davnick shoves Rayden away from me. "Don't touch her!" Davnick growls. "Or I swear it will be your last move."

(Sorry it's short!)

Davnick

"Seena!" I shout, pushing myself through the croud after her. I break through the innermost ring of people, Shearas hand still gripped in mine. I see her run up to a minstrel... and punch him hard in the arm, and then square on the jaw. I spin around and kneel down, facing Sheara.

"Stay here, okay?" I say urgently. She nodds in understanding and I stand and turn to Seena. My blood runs cold as I see the man gripping her hard against himself. Images of hidden daggars piercing her smooth skin, of blood running from her lips fly through my mind. I run over to them and shove them apart, pulling Seena safely behind me. Thankfully she seems to be uninjured, but she has tears streaming down her face.

"Don't touch her." I say, making my voice growl. "Or I swear it will be your last move."

The man regains his footing and I see his face clearly for the first time. I recognize him instantly and freeze from the shock. Holy... Rayden freaking Thorn. I think, staring at the guy dumbfounded. He glares at me.

"What.. who are you? What are you doing, let go of her!" He shouts at me, grabbing for Seena. I block his hand, but he grabbs my wrist, twisting it painfully behind me. He's now behind me, and my elbow is pinned against my back. I move experimentaly and pain flares. "Don't resist, it'll only hurt more." He says in my ear. Seena takes a step forward, her brow knit with worry.

Thorn looks at Seena and my heart skipps a beat. I need to get the attention off her, and I need him to let go. I think. People were starting to stare. People... Dolls. I had and idea. "I wont let you touch her, Rogue." I hiss. He looks at me, shock plain on his face.

"How did-" He loosens his grip just a bit, but it's enough. I twist away from him and plant my boot in his chest. He falls back and I spin to Seena.

"We need to get out-" Strong hands grab me from behind, spinning me around. I come face-to-face with Rayden, who draws back a fist and hits me squarely in the face. My vision blurs and my back hits the ground, nocking the breath out of me. I lay there, gasping for breath for a minute. Holy crap, that guy hits like a freaking train! I stand, trying to see, but I'm bleeding and I can't see past the curtian of red. I flare my sonar.

I hear Thorn speak. "Come on!" He shouts, grabbing Seena's wrist. He pulls her towards Sheara, who screams for Seena.

Thorn pauses next to the little girl. "Who is this?" He asks, his voice wild sounding.

"She's a friend, but-" Seena starts. Thorn doesn't let her finish. He bends over and scoops Sheara up. She tries to make him put her down, but he is far too strong. I can see tears streaming down her face as she screams.

"DAAAVYYYY!!" She wails.

The red I see now isn't blood. I straighten, drawing strength from Fang who is strapped to my back. Thorn is trying to make his way through the croud of gaping people but is having a hard time with Seena yelling at him and Sheara kicking and screaming, trying to tear his hair out.

The croud parts for me like a warm knife through butter. Every Doll in this city knows who I am. I walk up to Thorn and tap him on the back. He turns and I hit him in the face with all of mine and Fang's force combined. He flies back but I grab Sheara's hand so she just slides off of him. She's gasping through her sobs. I turn to Seena.

"Get her out of here." I say, moving Sheara to her. I turn to Thorn who is picking himself up off the ground, his nose bleeding. I'm pleased to see his eye will swell up if he lives through this. I draw Fang and walk towards him. Th croud is silent now as he makes his way to his feet, reaching for something inside his coat.

I raise Fang, ready to either attack or defend when somebody shouts, "STOP!" I turn in surprise to see Seena standing tall, her vision moving between Thorn and I. "That is enough." She says firmly. She looks at Thorn. "Rayden, this is my friend, Davnick. Davnick," She says, looking at me. "This is my brother. Rayden Thorn."

My eyes go wide and I look back at Thorn. You have got to be kidding me.

(Hope you're okay with Rayden Shadow! This was awefully fun to write. )

Razzle I died laughing*


Rayden Thorn:

"This is my friend Davnick." Davnick? my mind runs though my mental catalog and stops at one person I would rather have not met.

"Bloody-" I begin but someone in the crowd shouts.

"Rayden Thorn? He's rouge isn't he?" I glare around, the crowd was beginning to seethe and men were starting to look angry- the government has spread lies about me murdering dolls- this is not good! Davnick moves slightly to try to get around Seena.

"Seena get out of the way. That Boys a bounty hunter and murderer." I say trying to keep my voice even but it shakes with anger, my eye is swelling up so I can't see out of it. She looks back at me.

"He's not anymore! he's our friend!" I stare at her in disbelief. Our friend? no way in freaking heck! his freakish wings flex slightly, I feel my anger and so my fire grow. If he touches my sister I will kill him!

"Birdy please-" I don't know what to say. I begin to hear angry voices from the crowd.

"Rayden get out of there!" Dante shouts into my mind.

"Their all rouges!" Someone in the crowd calls "Get the soldiers! they know how to deal with this lot!"

For a moment I see fear flit across Davnick's face as he looks around for the small girl- I can't see her
The crowd closed in on us dangerously. I move closer to Seena and slowly slip my black duster coat off, leaving my in just my sleeveless tunic- I've already burned through four of those coat I didn't want to add another.

A man stepped forward armed with a smiths hammer.

"Come now rouges!" he called trying to seem friendly. "if you come quietly the soldiers won't be unkind to you."

"Liar!" Davnick shouts catching me off guard, Seena tried to go to him but I grabbed her arm.

"Stay still! these people are on edge we don't need to frighten them." Davnick looks about challengingly.

"If one of you thinks you can take me!" he threatens,"Go for it just try!" Good move moron! I let my sparks flare in my hands before fulling letting the blaze engulf my forearms. there is a collective gasp, my reputation proceeds me.

Suddenly a man lunges for Seena, I intercept him and let my hand come full across his face- the heat from my fire makes his face look like someone merely wiped it away. Seena gasped and stepped back as the man fell. Dante flew down form his perch and shifted forms into his weapon- the double ended scythe. I caught him and stood at the ready, Seena reaches back and pulls two strange dagger like weapons from her belt.

Seena is a Rouge? Dante asked me, I stared at my little sister. Seena what's happened to you?

Then like someone throwing a switch- all hell breaks loose and the crowd attacks with the madness of a mob. My only thought then were this. I will not loose her again! I swear to god I will not loose her!

(Hope this is alright!)

Everlee

I had lost half my group. Tess and Jared were who knows where, and Seena, Davnick, and Sheara were causing a fight. I run through the streets, with Skylar, Elise, and Reva behind me, until we find the source of the commotion.

Darren, I say. I'm gonna need your help.

Yes, Darren says with enthusiasm. Let's go.

I pull out my daggers. I move hands away from my sides in a quick motion, causing two huge waves to push away the crowd of people. The effect did exatly what I want, it brings the attention on me as well. Fire shoots in the air in front of me as I catch a glimpse of a rogue.

Who's that? Darren asks.

I shake my head. I don't know, I say as I throw an ice dagger to someone trying to attack Sheara.

Why is she over there? I look back to Davnick, fighting next to Seena. Seena slices her dagger and misses the person she was aiming at. With her ice, she makes her dagger longer and slices the man through the stomache.

Seena and Tige make a good team, Darren comments, before I lose sight of her.

I turn my attention back to Sheara who is sitting in a corner covering her head.

I need to protect her, I say. We don't want her to start to release her electric waves again.

I push through the mob using wave after wave of water, and crouch down next to Sheara. "Are you okay?" I ask urgently.

She nods. "I'm okay," she whispers.

"You'll be fine, I'm not going to let anyone hurt you," I say. Sheara nods.

"What about Davy?" she asks.

I smile. "I think he can handle himself."

Watch out, Darren says.

I slam my hand into the ground and a large shard of ice shoots out behind me, hitting the man who was trying to sneak up on me clear across the street. I stand up and turn around.

We have to get out of here, I say. Any ideas?

Skylar:

I take out my sword from the sheath and hold it up. I quickly find Everlee, who has Sheara with her, and quickly grab her wrist.

"We need to find everyone and get out of here!" I suggest. Before Everlee could respond, a man attempts to head-lock Everlee. I grab his wrist, and swiftly cut it with my sword, leaving him in pain.

"Everlee..." I trail off.

"Wait! Where are the others?" Sheara asks, with fear in her voice. I look around, and they're all in their own fights... except for Jared and Tess.

"Where are Tess and Jared?" I ask Everlee.

"I don't know," she answered. I completely change the subject and suggest something else.

"Seriously, we need to get out of here. Where's Reva? Do you think she can make us invisible?" I ask.

Reva

"Seriously, we need to get out of here. Where's Reva? Do you think she can make us invisible?" Skylar asked.

I came up beside him, and reached for Sheara. Right then, the only thing on my mind was her protection. "Skylar, take Everlee's hand and close your eyes. Darsor-" I released him. "-Get to Davnick and tell him to grab Seena and whoever the other rogue is and fly. Tell him to meet us in the clearing we passed on the way in, and then you need to turn invisible and run." I picked up poor protesting Sheara and put her on my back. "I know you don't like me, but you're going to have to stay there and be quiet. I can get you out, but you have to stay silent. Okay? Then I will leave you alone." I told her kindly, holding her as gently as I could without dropping her. I turned to Skylar and Everlee. He was holding tight to her hand and had his eyes squeezed shut, as did she. Good. "Your part is simple. Open your eyes when I yell go and run. Run for the gates of the city, and don't let anybody stop you. If anything goes wrong call for Darsor and he can hide you in light."

"Okay," Skylar said.

"Where are you going with Sheara?" Everlee asked.

"We're going invisible and finding Jared and Tess. The fun is over." I released a momentarily blinding and stunning flash of light and hope Davnicks sonar gets him out of this one. "GO!" And then Sheara and I disappeared and ran to find Tess and Jared. I knew we were safe, but I didn't know if they were. Besides, no one can fight someone they can't locate.

Elise:

I pushed my way out of the commotion, finally realizing that I'm not with what's left of the group. Concerned, I turn around and try to see if I can spot Tess and Jared.

Myrtle! Can you fly over them? I ask Myrtle.

Yes, but I think flying things will come after me, she answered. I paused for minute.

I can deal with it, I simply respond. Myrtle stomps her talons on my shoulder.

Elise!

Fine. We'll look for them on foot, I declared. I started walking, with Myrtle perched on my shoulder. I try to stay away from the commotion, and stick to merchants.

Jared:

"Crap, crap, crap, crap..." i said over and over again as I ran towards the fight. I saw water, lightning, and...fire? Great, another rogue we have to deal with.
Tess had woken back up and was talking nonsense. I had to put her down somewhere safe. I looked around through the madness, and then it got worse.
A bright light flashed and I was suddenly blind. Tess was hidden from the worst of it, but it still seemed to bring her back to her senses.
"Ahh! Jared! What did you do?" She yelled at me and began hitting me. I dropped her and rubbed my eyes.
"Gald you're back." I said. I tried blinking, but I stil can't see.
"Jared, are you okay?" Tess actually sounds sincere.
"I can't see-" I was cut off by somebody grabbing my arm.
"Sorry about that jared."
"Reva!" She dragged me onward, I don't know where, but I hoped my blindness would go away soon. I hated not being able to see.
"What about Elise?" I said, but nobody answers me.

Reva

"What about Elise?"

I didn't answer but immediately realized my mistake. The town would be on guard, searching out rogues and Elise was alone. Darsor. Where are you?

Almost to the gates.

We don't know where Elise is, but I have Jared and Tess. They're invisible.

I will find her.

Please move quickly. "Jared, Darsor is after her. Be silent now." I hissed, expanding my invisibility over him and Tess, and strengthening it. Too much movement, even when cloaked in light, could be revealing. And the last thing we needed was another disaster.

Darsor

I pounded through the streets, silent, but still there. I loved to run. There was something thrilling about tearing through streets invisible with the wind blowing through my white fur while Dolls were searching for me that made me want to do it again and again. I tried to stick to the less crowded areas, as that was probably where Elise was. Her time was running out and as little as the two of us had interacted, she would be missed.

-Sheara

My mind was in panic as the world around me erupted into chaos. I couldn't see Davy anymore, and angry people started to try and attack left and right! I was relieved to see Evee beside me, fighting off the Dolls.

"Seriously, we need to get out of here. Where's Reva? Do you think she can make us invisible?" Skylar asked. Just then, the invisa-Rogue appeared next to us. I jumped in surprise as she reached for me.

"Skylar, take Everlee's hand and close your eyes. Darsor get to Davnick and tell him to grab Seena and whoever the other rogue is and fly. Tell him to meet us in the clearing we passed on the way in, and then you need to turn invisible and run."
She said, then she scooped me up and put me on her back. My heart was already gripped in terror for Davy and everyone else, so at being picked up, I tried to fight back.
"I know you don't like me, but you're going to have to stay there and be quiet. I can get you out, but you have to stay silent. Okay? Then I will leave you alone." She said quickly, but soothingly. I stilled at those words, but still felt shaky. Reva let out a burst of light then went invisible, and began to run through the crowd of Dolls.

"What about Davy?" I asked in desperation, looking to where I last saw him.
"Don't worry about him, he'll be fine." She replied quickly. "Now you must be silent!"
I shut my mouth and closed my eyes tightly, a few tears escaped and ran down my face.

Davy is in trouble! Everyone is in trouble!! My mind was in a whirl of fear as I thought of the danger everyone was in. Someone could get hurt! I thought of the only thing left I could do.
Poca! I need you to find Davy and protect him! Make sure no one gets hurt!

No-way am-I protecting...that-Dark Rogue! She snarled. I cried out in desperate begging.
Poca please! I couldn't stand to lose another family! Not another one! I would rather die than go thought that again! PLEASE! SAVE MY BIG BROTHER! The word came out before I realized it. I felt Poca still, then tremble against me.
I-will...not-fail. She growled and leaped out from my collar.

My heart froze in my chest. I felt all of Sheara's feelings that had been pressed inside her for so long burst forth in 4 words.
SAVE MY BIG BROTHER! The words echoed through my head. As I felt the mixtures of terror, regret, guilt, and depression emit off Sheara, anger filled my being. I remembered what Sheara had to see...her own mother die in front of her, Rogues beaten and killed, and she blamed it all on herself. Now she had a family, I realized. And even though he wasn't exactly the best choice, the Dark Rogue had now found a place in her heart.
She-had...always-wanted...a-big bother... I thought to myself. I closed my eyes and sighed, then opened them, determination fixed and muscles tense. I could not allow her to go through losing a loved one again.
I-will...not-fail.

With that, I jumped off Sheara and ran through the crowd, dodging feet and weapons. I spotted the Dark Rogue, the idiot was still trying to attack the Fire Rogue! They both lunged toward each other, then blocked, jumped back, and lunged again. As this continued, I saw a Doll come up to attack the Fire Rogue from behind, but then they suddenly switched places to try to throw one another off. The Dark Rogue didn't even notice the Doll behind him with his sword raised, he was going to get his head cut off!
LUNATIC! I ran and jumped, aiming myself at the Doll's face. I struck and bit down, hard. The Doll yelled and swung his sword off target, barley skimming the hair of the Dark Rogue. I jumped off the Doll as he tried to grab me, then spun in mid air, smacking him with my little, but strong tail. He fell and I landed on the ground, just in time to see a giant boot about to crush me from above.
CRAP! I tried to turn and run, but I knew I wasn't going to make it. I braced for the pain of being squished, but it never came. I looked up to see the Dark Rogue lifting the Doll off his feet, then gave him a punch enough to knock his brains lose. He then jumped and rolled to avoid the Fire Rogue attacking him from behind, grabbing me as he did so.

"Thanks!" He practically screamed in my ear, almost causing me to go deaf. "But I need you to stay out of this." With that he shoved me into his jacket.
"JERK!" I yelled back as he zipped me in. I wasn't some little toy you could just shove into your clothes, you know! Yeah, I hid in Sheara's clothes, but that was different! I hid in her sleeves and shoulder area, that wasn't awkward. But being squished against this guy's abs (yes, he did have quite impressive abs) was extremely awkward! I debated with the idea of whether to bit him or not. Then I had an evil idea.
"Hey...Dark-Rogue...you-ticklish?"

(Aww Blindie! I didnt know wether to laugh or cry! That was great! (And yes, Davies abs are quite impressive. ))

Davnick

This was gtting out of hand. Reva's pet had told me to try and fly everybody out of here, but there was no way Seena was leaving without Thorn, and there was no way I was taking him with us. I was trying to figure out what to do, when I fet something brushing my stomach. I tensed as the brushing continued, and a wild urge to laugh bubbled up inside me.

"Poca..ah ah ah! Poca st-ah!! POCA!!" I shouted, grabbing her out from where I had shoved her. "What are you doing?!"

She glared. "Behind you." Was all she said. I spun a parried a blow from Thorn.

"Filthy bounty hunter, you only make what I try to do harder!" He shouts.

I push him into a crowd of dolls, my mind spinning. "Hey, Poca, how big can you get?"

She gives me a suspicious look. "Very." Was all she said.

"Big enough to lift me over this croud? " I ask.

"Of-course. But why? Can't you-just fly?"

"No, not this time. I don't want the Dolls to be afraid of me." She looked at me like I was insane. "Please! I have an idea that could get us all out of here scott free." She looked like she was thinking, and then bowed her head.

"Alright." She jumped down and stood beneath me. "Just-tell me...when!" She shouted above the noise of battle.

I quickly spun and grabbed Seenas shoulder. I pulled her close and yell-whispered in her ear. "Don't believe a word I'm about to say!"

She looked at me confused. "Wha-?"

"Now!" I shouted, and Poca began to grow. I balenced myself on her back, and told her to stop when my feet were about ten feet above the ground. "Okay," I shout at her. "Now, roar."

A blood-curdling roar breaks through the air, drowning out all the screams in the area. When Poca stops, the crowd is silent, looking at her and so me also.

"Listen up!" I shout, making my voice dangerous and irritated. "I don't know what you think you are doing, but these Rogues," I say, gesturing to everybody in our group that I see. "They are my bounty. I know all of you know who I am, and I swear to you, if ONE of them is hurt, I will personally slaughter not only the peron who ruined the quality of my bounty, but their family, friends, and everybody they might have considered aquaintices. GOT THAT?!" I bellow.

Every Doll in the crowd shrinks back, trying to hide their weapons. I nod in satisfaction. "Good." I try to sound less irritated, and more like a sleezy govenrment official. "Now, if you kind citizens will please let us exit the city, I'll be on my way to taking these dangerous Rogues to the capital city."

The croud parts, and I ask Poca to shrink back down. I jump off her and pick her up, walking over to Seena.

"What are you doing?" She hisses.

"Just play along. And tell your brother to cool it." She nodds and whispers to Thorn. I hear some shouting behind me, and turn to see Everlee and Skylar being pushed towards me. I walk up to Everlee, pretending to inspect her for injury. "Where are the others?" I whisper.

"They're safe, I'm pretty sure. Sheara is with Reva." She tells me. I nod slightly.

I straighten up and raise my voice. "Thank you again. We'll be on our way now." I pretend to lead the others out of the city, trying to put on a good show. I still heave a sigh of relief after we are outside the walls. I can see the others standing at the treeline, waiting for us.

Well that was a close one.

(Sorry about the tense switching. I was kinda in a hurry.)

Darsor

I found Elise. I found her while dashing around a corner and I ran right into her, bowling her over. Had it been anyone else I probably would have kept running, simply because I wanted to, but it was Elise and I had been told to find Elise and bring her outside the gates. "You aren't safe here. We need to go." I told her and moved back to let her stand up.

She did and brushed herself off, looking a little angry. "Why?"

I turned visible. "Davnick picked a fight and the others are on their way out. Now get on me." I turned to the side so that she would climb on. I hoped she obeyed soon because there was a little bit of a stir around me. I was an enormous white tiger, after all. Although had it been Tige, they would have been more frightened. He was much bigger than me, and couldn't change his form to small when he wanted to. As strong as he was, I thought I was better. Light was better in and of itself. "Get on Elise." I commanded one last time.

Elise:

I squinted at Darsor and crossed my arms.

Just get on the tiger! Myrtle commanded. I uncrossed my arms and swing my leg over Darsor, now in riding position. Darsor began running, I think towards the others.

"Are they safe?" I asked.

"Yes. Now they are," Darsor answered.

"Now?!" I asked. Darsor didn't answer, so I clamped my mouth shut. Darsor ran through the gates, and outside the village. I saw everyone else waiting there. I immediately got off Darsor and dusted my pants off. I turn around to face Jared and hit him on the arm.

"Where were you?!" I demanded.

Jared:

"uhhh..." She was mad. Great. "Tess had candy."
She stared at me blankly and then realized what I was talking about and walked up to Tess and punched her too.
"Hey! What was that for? Jared!" Tess glared at me, and I shrugged.
"That's what you get for eating candy."
"Speaking of which..." Tess stomped up to me, reached inside of my pocket and took out her sweets. "These are mine." She began to walk away when Elise shot out a vine and ripped it from her hand. "HEy!"
She was about to grab it, but Elise gave her a look, so she just glared and changed the subject.
"So, what was all that about?" Tess turned and saw the other rogue. "you-" She said her eyes widening, but he didn't seem to hear. He walked up to Davnick, and collided his fist with Davnick's face.
"Hey!" I shout, but I'm ignored.

(Tell me if this is not okay! I just thought that that would be something that Rayden would do! )

Rayden Thorn:

I was seething. No, I was raging- no that's not strong enough either. I was a frigging volcano in full eruption!

Becasue seena has given me her puppy dog eyes , and so help me I cannot refuse those eyes, I had followed this motley group out of the city with the bounty hunter. But no we were out of the city and that lower than the dirt bounty hunter still had his hands on my sister!

"Rayden don't do it!" Dante said as he jumped off my shoulder and flew into a tree. "Your not thinking- don't do it!"

Oh I sure as the underworld was going to do it! I stalked over and tapped him on the shoulder, he turned and with all the strength I had I punched him- he went flying backwards and landed with a very satisfying thud and groan. Senna turned to me her eyes flaming.

"Rayray!" she cried stunned,

"What the flying crap Thorn!" the bounty hunter shouted, I noticed with not a little satisfaction that he winced getting up.
I crossed my arms and stared him down defiantly- I wasn't scared of this boy.

Senna steped between me and the bounty hunter, she gave me a look I remember mama using on papa.

"Rayden!"

"He touched you." I said looking her squarely in the eye.
