Skylar:
I offered Everlee if she wanted to hold my sword. She shook her head frantically and refused. I insisted, and watched her attempt to carry the sword. I laughed at the sight and walked behind her. I wrap my hadns on Everlee's and help her hold it up. I savoured this, I've done this before, but with children when they get they're first swords. But Everlee was no child. My face, close to her neck, and my hands were on hers. She smelled like heaven, if that kind of smell exsists. After a moment, Everlee cleared her throat and I let go. She handed me the sword and I put it back in it's sheath
After a put the sword back into the sheath, I sighed and shook my head, "Sorry," I whispered. I looked at Everlee, and she looked confused.
"You felt awkward when I helped you carry the sword, I know, it was an impulsive move," I said, scratching my head nervously. Before she can respond, Myrtle came swooping in, followed by Angus.
"Oi! No animals!" He said waving a broom around.
"No! It's fine, I found it, and it likes to follow me," I lied. Angus dropped the broom. "Fine, fine, don't let it misplace anything!" Angus warned. I nodded then turned to Everlee.
"We should head back now," I said.
