Skylar:

I offered Everlee if she wanted to hold my sword. She shook her head frantically and refused. I insisted, and watched her attempt to carry the sword. I laughed at the sight and walked behind her. I wrap my hadns on Everlee's and help her hold it up. I savoured this, I've done this before, but with children when they get they're first swords. But Everlee was no child. My face, close to her neck, and my hands were on hers. She smelled like heaven, if that kind of smell exsists. After a moment, Everlee cleared her throat and I let go. She handed me the sword and I put it back in it's sheath

After a put the sword back into the sheath, I sighed and shook my head, "Sorry," I whispered. I looked at Everlee, and she looked confused.

"You felt awkward when I helped you carry the sword, I know, it was an impulsive move," I said, scratching my head nervously. Before she can respond, Myrtle came swooping in, followed by Angus.

"Oi! No animals!" He said waving a broom around.

"No! It's fine, I found it, and it likes to follow me," I lied. Angus dropped the broom. "Fine, fine, don't let it misplace anything!" Angus warned. I nodded then turned to Everlee.

"We should head back now," I said.

Tige:

I was shocked that a doll would agree to help me but, not as shocked as she I soon found out, when she looked into my cage and saw what sort of animal I turn into. I have heard it said that I am the largest “recorded” polar bear in captivity, if only I were a real polar bear that is.

I could feel her thoughts and I had to smile. She wasn't sure how to get me out, but to her credit she didn't turn away. I had noticed when I saw her come around the corner of the elephant cage that she was a soldier, a part of that army that had killed my Emily, but this girl was different. She didn't seem like the other dolls that were in the army. She didn't fear me, she wasn't even surprised to hear I was a pet. Hmm, curious....

She opened the small door the Zookeepers feed me though, it was barely big enough for my muzzle to fit through let along any more of my body, but it was a beginning.

The Girl peeked her head in and looked at me smiling a tight lipped smile. I walked over to her, I could smell her fear but she didn't run or shy away.

“Hello little one.” rumbled out loud. Her eyes looked like saucers they were so large, She looked around and then at me confusion written all over her face.

“How are you going to get you out of here?” she whispered darting a glance behind her. I smiled to myself, foolish doll.

“Well, there are two possible ways.” I began. “One is for you to break me out by violence or by deception- either one might work. Or might I suggest my own favorite method.” she nodded

"Please do, I'm not relishing the idea of fighting off a mob." I chuckled, she was an amusing little doll at least.

“ Stick your hands into the cage and hold them like you were holding an apple in each with finger spread apart slightly.” she did so and I sat back on my haunches and places my paws on top of her hands. It had been a long time since I had shifted from one form to another but it was worth a try. I concentrated all my mind and channeling her energy, I could feel the change. In a surprisingly short space of time I was no longer in my animal form but my weapon.

The dolls call the kind of weapon I turn into tiger claws, foolish people. Can tigers claws give you the strength to beat the life out of a ox in a single swipe? I highly doubt that!

I had shifted into the double tiger or bears claws and the girl stood holding me with a look of consternation replacing her confusion. Surprisingly I fit her hands like a glove... ever more curious.

“Now.”
I spoke into her mind. “I believe it would be a much simpler matter to just hide me under your coat or in that pack you carry and get me out this way. Once away, I can change back into my bear form if you prefer.”

(I got stuck part way though this so sorry if it's rough and that it's so short)

Everlee

We quickly walked out of the blacksmith shop and began heading back out of the village. Word must have spread that the resistance had to move; many people glarred even more furiously than when we had walked in. Some people waved, but it wasn't the friendly wave. They were excited we were leaving. Someone even threw cabbage, hitting me on my shoulder blade. I ignored it and continued to walk.

"Maybe you don't want to walk next to me," I whispered to Skylar.

"I'm fine," he said. He turned around and glarred at whoever had thrown cabbage. We walked towards the egde of the village, until we reached the town gates. I stopped. Standing in our path were twenty or so men, all holding weapons.

"Uh oh," I said quietly. I cleared my throat, speaking loud enough for everyone to hear. "I would like to thank you for keeping our secret. We will be moving tonight, so you will have no more trouble with the castle." This was actually the first time I had said 'we'. It had always been just me. The dolls didn't know that there were more rogues hidding just outside of thier village. "We would like to pass through," I said, as the men didn't move. They still stood in our path.

"I don't think so," came the butcher's voice. He stood in the middle of the row of men. "You see, we can get a big deal of money for turning you in."

Darren, I need help, I called quickly. I crouched down into ready possition. "You don't have to help me," I said to Skylar. He pulled the sword out of his sheith. I smiled. It was nice to have someone to fight next to. I saw Mirtle, Elise's owl flying over our heads to the cottage. Bring help, I thought quickly.

Elise:

Myrtle came back, with fear in er eyes. I stand up, causing Tess to do the same. "What's wrong?" I asked Myrtle. I heard Skylar and Everlee. They're in trouble. I take my katana, and grab Tess's wrist and run tothe village. Near the entrance, I see some villagers surrounding Skylar and Everlee.

"Let's go Tess," I said. We make our way over there, and Skylar sees us. I approach one villager carefully, tap his shoulder, wait for him to turn around, and knee him in the... Yeah. He falls to the ground. This starts a fight. Skylar starts protecting Everlee with his sword, Tess is fending them off with her powers, and I use my combat.

"Everlee! Behind you!" I warned Everlee. She quickly turns around and fends them off with her power.

(I hope I portrayed Everlee and Tess right!)

We were out of that godforsaken zoo!

Seena (the girl had told me her name) walked with a easy gate like she smuggled polar bears out of zoos everyday of the week. True I made her pack a bit more lumpy than was usual for a soldier but who was going to notice, the streets were practically empty at that time...wait, why were the streets practically empty at this time of day? They shouldn't be! I reached out with my mind. Something was very wrong right now, I could feel it but not pinpoint it.

“Seena! Seena listen somethings wrong, very wrong right now.”

“What? What's wrong? We got out of the zoo and we're heading out of town. We'll be just fine. Calm down.” I was becoming frantic and I didn't now why.

“No Seena listen! Go back into the village-”

“What?! I can't! The soldiers have been snooping here more often. It's to dangerous.” I needed to make her understand.

“Seena.” I said as gently as I could. “Seena, Please let me help them, someone is in trouble. I'm not asking you to get involved. You already risked much to help me but please, let me go.” I could feel her waffling back and forth not sure what to do but finally she sighed.

“What is it that you want me to do?” I had a plan that would hopefully not draw any attention to her.

“Look around. Do you see any alleyways or small side streets that no one is on?”

“Yeah there all over the place here.”

“Good. Now cross the street and throw me into that alley, both claws. Then I want you to get away from here. I don't want you getting hurt.”

“Like heck your going to leave me behind!” she said out loud drawing a few stares from some passersby. “No I'm not letting you do this by yourself. I could help you somehow make a diversion or something.” I wasn't sure what to tell her but then her idea made sense.

“A diversion would be most useful” I could feel her begin to run. She fled in and out of several side streets before starting to scream.

“Quick! There's a man whose trapped with his son underneath some fallen rubble near the old church- we need help to clear the debris away!” as she ran she deftly slipped her bag of her shoulder and tossed me away into a an empty alley.

I laid there a few moments gathering my magic. Seena had a very strong life energy and I was almost back to my full strength. I waited a moment in the shadows to give the street a chance to clear before shifting, but I didn't have much time. I could sense what was happening now. Rouges and they were in trouble.

I tore out of that ally as fast as I could . Five minutes brought me to where the little group stood valiantly. They were all children those Rouges! A mob of full grown men were attacking them. I felt my rage boil over and white fury took its place. The moment I saw Emily cut down before my eyes played again in the back of my mind. This was just like then.

I launched myself in front of a young girl with a black raven flying about her head and gave the ruffian who was attacking her one swipe with my paw and laid him still at my feet. Then rearing to my full height I roared, all of my fury and hatred that had been bottled up inside for the last three years was in that roar. The men drew back slightly and the children took that time to regroup.

“Stay back!” I snarled pulling my black lips back and showing them my long sharp fangs. The leader of this mob was the butcher, I found this out when he stepped forward.

“Come on boys! Are we going to let a bunch of kids and a over sized teddy bear stop us? We'll jus-” I didn't let him get any further. I took a deep breath then came down onto all fours and let loose a frozen fiery blast right at him. When the air settled there he still stood, but encased in ice. I looked at the rest of the mob.

“Who's next?” my eyes daring them to a challenge.

(I hope this is alright.)

Tess:

I froze one of the men in the mob and turned around to see a sword coming straight for my face, I moved my hand to block it, knowing I wasn't going to be fast enough, when an amazing thing happened. A polar bear jumped out in front of me, shoving my almost-killer clear off his feet with ease.
I backed up, staring. "Tess!" I turned to see Everlee. "Are you alright?" I ran over to her and nodded. "Good, let's get out of here! Give us some cover."
"Right." I stared at a spot on the ground and tried to focus while the polar bear growled at the mob, and then froze the butcher. Freezing him? But that would make him a Pet! I thought.
"Elise? Elise where are you?" i heard Skylar yell.
"Shh! Are you trying to get us caught? Just head towards the hut." I whispered. I guess my powers were working that day. I walked for a little while as sileently as possible towards the hut, and no one noticed me. Once we were out of earshot and eyesight of the mob, I took off my cloaker. Everlee, Elise, and Skylar suddenly appeared.
"What just happened?" Elise asked me.
"That's one of my skills, making it seem like we're just a shadow trick. great for sneaking away, and for scaring people in the middle of the night." I sat against a tree and Nyx flew down to my hand. "So, where's the bear?"

(That's exactly what I was hoping would happen, Shadowlight!)

Everlee

Bring help, I thought quickly, before the battle started. At first, it was just a small battle. The men blocking the path stayed still while Skylar and I were attacked by men on the sides. The came at us quickly with pitchforks and anything else that could be used as a weapon. I tried not to laugh as I swiftly disarmed a young farmer by throwing water into his face. He dropped the weapon and jumped back, frightened by my powers. I saw another one come towards Skylar. I casually brought my water on the ground, tripping the poor man. He stood up though, anger even stronger.

What did you do this time? Darren's voice echoed in my mind.

About time, I joked. You almost missed out on all of the fun.

Suddenly, the battle bacame furious. I'm not sure what started it, maybe it was Tess and Elise showing up, but now, every man, even the ones blocking our path, were in on the battle. I can see Skylar is trying to defend me, and doing a pretty good job doing it; I barely get a chance again to use my powers. Tess is fighting alongside Elise, both were kicking butt! Darren jumped onto someone's head, knocking them over before reaching me. He transforms as he jumps into my hands, leaving me two very powerful knives, ready for use.

"Everlee! Behind you!" I hear Elise call. I turned around and threw a knife right into the baker's shoulder. Quickly, my knife came back into my hands, leaving a trail of ice in it's wake. Somehow, more and more men were coming. I turned to see Tess, a villager almost beating her. I was about to warn her, when I see a flash of white. The villager disapeared.

A growl comes from somewhere torward the gate. “Stay back!” a deep voice snarled. The battle froze, everyone looking at the biggest polar bear I had ever seen. No, it wasn't a polar bear. It was a pet!

The butcher, in his idiotic attempt to be threating started to speak. “Come on boys! Are we going to let a bunch of kids and a over sized teddy bear stop us? We'll jus-” The pet stopped the butcher before he finish. I blinked, and the next moment, the butcher stood, frozen in a block off ice.

“Who's next?” the pet threatened. Only about half of the villagers left, the others stood their ground.

"Alright then," the pet threatened. "Have it your way." He took in a deep breathe and before he had a chance to let out the air, the rest of the villagers were gone.

Only one man stayed back. He looked at me, his face one that I had seen many times around the town. He had been an entertainer of sorts, but I had never known what he did.

"We just want you freaks to leave," he said quietly. He threw down a branch he had been using as a weapon, and began to walk away.

I fell down to the ground exausted.

"Are you alright?" Skylar asked, worriedly. Really, I wasn't alright, but there was nothing that Skylar could do to help me, so I shook my head.

"I'm fine," I muttered. I looked around the street. From the ground, no one lay dead. Well, except for the butcher who was frozen. I took a deep breathe and stood back up again, walking over to the pet.

"Thank you so much for you help," I said with a smile. "I'm Everlee."

"I'm Tige," he said in a deep voice. I looked over his shoulder at the butcher, his face frozen in fear.

"Excuse me, really quickly." I walked around Tige and put my hand to the ice block of the butcher. The ice quickly melted and as the butcher lets out a breathe, I grabbed him by his colar. I quickly dragged him over to the closest wall and threw him against it, still holding him by his collar.

"Alright, we're leaving," I tell him quietly. "But, if you tell the soldiers anything you know about us, I swear, by all that you hold dear, I will come back, and I will kill you. Now, you have three seconds to leave before I let Tige put you back in a big block of ice again." I let go of his collar. He nodded quickly and began to run, tripping once or twice in his haste.

I turned back to see everyone except Tess staring at me in shock. "She doesn't like to kill anyone," Tess explained shortly as I walked back over to them.

"But I will if I have to," I said, nodding. "That scum doesn't deserve to..." I was cut off.

"What is that doll doing here?" Tige growled. I looked over to where he was starring at; Skylar.

(Sorry it's so long, I kinda got carried away :D)

Oh, um. So I didn't see Tess post until after I posted. So, lets make it that after Tess asks where the bear is, Everlee tells her to send them back, if that is alright with everyone. If not, tell me and I can delete my post. :D

Seena

I ran after Tige, but soon lost him. Where are you? I asked. He didn't answer, but I got images of some compotion. A battle? I followed the street until it entered the main road. It was a battle, but the people are now frozen in fear. I took another step closer and the spell breaks. A flood of men push past me, almost pushing me to the ground. And then again, another wave washed past. Finally, the street was cleared. I easily spotted Tige, standing next to four Rogues I guessed, by their apparel.

One rogue, walked over to an ice block and touched it with her hand, melting it and showing... a doll? She threw him against a wall and muttered something very quietly to him. From where I stand, I couldn't hear any of what she said, but she soon lets go. The man ran over to where I stand. He tried to run past me, but I grab him by his arm. I could feel that I was stronger then him.

"What did the rogue say to you?" I asked quietly, not moving my eyes from the small band of misfits.

"She said she was going to kill me," he stuttered.

"Kill you? If you did what?" I asked.

"Nothing! She said she would just kill me," the man sounded more frightened then I had ever heared anyone.

"Well, if she would 'just kill you' then why did she let you go?" I looked over to him. He didn't answer. I sighed, letting him go. "Thanks for nothing you useless doll."

Skylar:

"What is that doll doing here?" the pet asked, with a disgusted voice. Elise looked offended, even though he wasn't talking to and about her.

"Excuse me? Is it wrong to have a doll with us?" Elise started. The pet opened his mouth to speak until Elise held her hand up, signalling him to not say anything. I decided to break the tension.

"I'm here to help and protect them, and I'm a close friend of Elise," I gestured over to Elise. Elise rolled her eyes. I laughed. I wait for the pet's response.

Tess:

I stared waiting for what the Pet would say. I honestly didn't really care if he left or made Skylar and Elise leave. We were going to have to leave town anyways.
I decided, since I didn't care, I would head back to the hut and start packing. Nobody followed me except for Nyx, flying behind. After a few minutes, we were there, and i headed straight upstairs to pack a few pillows and blankets, and then headed back downstairs to get our food supplies and cups for water. I made sure i had grabbed everything we needed, other than personal stuff, and sat down waiting for everyone else to show up.

(I hope I kept everyone in character)

I looked at the Doll boy, I moved closer to him sniffing suspiciously. The girl who had defended him moved , blocking my way. The girl Elise I think her name was looked at me fear in her eyes.

“Don't you dare hurt him!” she cried, I sat back on my haunches unsure of what to do. The boy touched her arm.

“It's alright. He won't hurt me.” he stepped in front of the girl and came closer. I sniffed him, I could not detect anything in his smell that meant any harm, and then realizing that Seena was in fact a doll as well, made me feel foolish. She and this boy were the same, she risked her life for me, and he for that rouge girl. He deserved my respect rather then my suspicion. I bowed my head.

“Forgive me boy, I was unjust in suspecting anything from you.” he smiled and I let him rub my head between my eyes. He had a gentle smile and kind eyes, much like my Emily.

“That's alright. No harm done.” the leader of their small group, Everlee I think she was called stepped forward.

“Thanks for helping us back there. It might have been a close one.” I snorted.

“Your all just children! You should not have to do any fighting like that- any of you!” I growled again just thinking about it.

“What has happened to this world when a group of children has to fight for their own survival? Where are your parents little ones? Where are the adults who should be fighting for you? Not just against you.” a deathly silence fell over the group and I feared I said too much.

(I wrote this while Shadow posted, I hope it's alright.)

Elise:

I turned around to see Tess heading off on her own with her raven. I roll my eyes and look back to the pet. He still wasn't saying anything. I put my hands on my hips.

"I'm going off into the forest," I announced.

"What if something happens to you?" Skylar asked.

"Calm down, I just want to get game," I said as I turned and left. Might as well leave Skylar with Everlee, since those two have been together more than Skylar and me ever since we found the cottage.

I continue walking carefully, erasing all the footprints I make behind me. I stop to see a few rabbits, like the one Everlee took to the village with her. I approach them carefully, my hands held out. My palms begin to glow a bright green, and I use that to lift a few medium sized rocks. I levitate the rocks, might as well practice here. I throw the rocks at the rabbits. Two scurried off, while I hit three other rabbits.

"Finally," I said. I notice a bird following me. Myrtle, I thought to myself. Why are you going off by yourself? Myrtle asked.

"Give Skylar and Everlee time alone, need food, you know," I respond as Myrtle landed on my shoulder. Her head turns to the South.

"What's wrong?" I asked. There's another one, she answered. "Another rogue?" I asked. As I said this, Myrtle took off to the South, and I quickly chase after her, leaving the game.
