Rogues and Pets vs. Dolls [closed/starting]

Elise:

I smirked at Seena. I quickly tie my hair up, to avoid any distractions. Seena charges for me, stance with her elbow pointing out. I quickly dodge it, and almost end up out of the ring. I quickly step forward.

"Close," I said teasingly. Seena smirked.

"Your turn," she replied. I roll my eyes. I wanted this to end. I roll my sleeves, take my stance, and hold my palm downwards to the ground. Silence filled the air, until an earthquake erupted.

"Earthquake!" I heard Skylar cry out. This was no earthquake. It's something I'm working on, a new part of my power that I discovered. Vines shot out from the ground behind Seena, grabbed Seena's ankles, and dragged Seena out of the ring. I blinked a few times to make are I was out of power mode. Seena quickly stood up and approached me.

I smiled and held out my hand.

"Good job. You were a better opponent than Skylar," I said with a happy and teasing tone.

(Hope this was okay! My first time writing an action scene.)

Gleek, that was an awesome move! Nice idea! Alright, I'm bringing in Reva and Davnick.

Seena

"Good job. You were a better opponent than Skylar," Elise says with a smile.

I laugh. "That's because I'm not affraid to hurt you," I joke, indicating Skylar's affections.

Elise laughs and we look over to Skylar who has his arm over Everlee's shoulder, both ignoring us.

"Nevermind," I whisper. We walk back to the group together. We barely get there before Tige stands up.

"Do you feel that?" he asks. He's tense, ready for a battle. I look over to Everlee, who stands up as well.

"Darren," she says aloud, although, I know she doesn't need to. "What is it?" she demands. We wait quietly while the rogues ask their pets for information.

"They're rogues," Everlee says.

"They're fighting," Tess chimes in. She has a small smile spread across her face.

"Where?" Skylar demands.

"Not too far. Just outside the city." Jared speaks for the first time since he won. Tess shoots him a glare, but he is too focused to care.

"Then we should leave?" I ask.

Everlee shakes her head. "They are both rogues. We need to find out what they are doing. Maybe they can help us..." her voice trails off.

Tess starts walking without waiting for the rest of us. "Stay here," Everlee orders Skylar and me. The other rogues begin running off together. I look to Skylar and we both nod, following the group.

We catch up quickly. "I thought she told you to stay," Tige growls. I nod but keep running with them. He shakes his head, but leaves it alone.

As we get further from the town, I can feel the power in the air. Something makes a loud noise, like lightning, although the skies are clear. We run faster and soon we can hear yelling as well.

“Is that the best you have?!” A girl shouts. We burst into a clearing seconds later, only to realize that we had interupted two rogues in a death match.

Jared:

great, more rogues. And in a death match, too. Luckily they hadn't noticed us yet. They seemed very angry at each other, and both of them seemed very...disturbed. i don't know how else to describe it, but with what little glimpses of their eyes as they fought, it was easy to tell that they had seen some very sad sights. If we don't stop them soon, they'll destroy each other! Amy said, taking a step forward.
If you want to try, be my guest, but there is too much power here for me right now. Lightning struck the ground a few feet away from us with a boom that shook the whole Earth.

Tess:

I looked to Jared. he seemed to be calm, not afraid, but in shock at the sight we beheld. The two fighters were powerful. Much more powerful that any two of us. Not good. Nyx said. Another bolt struck. Nyx began to shake on my shoulder and took flight just to avoid falling, and nearly missed the flying rogue. I fell down from the shaking of the thunder. Jared ran over to me, or so it seemed. He past right by me to see if Elise was alright. i grumbled and got back up just in time to miss several daggers flying directly at where I was sitting. Careful! You realize that if you get hit, I get hit too right?
I know, I know.
This was getting tiring. Avoiding the things they were throwing at each other. Someone had to stop them.

Reva

More rogues Reva. Possibly allies with the blood traitorDarsor's voice rang through my head as we dodged the biggest lightning bolt yet.
Get rid of them Darsor. I can hold this one off for a few minutes I lied and shot more light daggers.
No Master. You need me.
He was right, as much as I hated to admit it, I really needed the help of my pet. I hadn't needed to rely on him since Old Kaston died, and then it was because I was sad and needed company. Old Kaston. The very thought of the circumstances in which he died made my blood boil and my powers increase. Darsor, do you remember the new move we worked on last week?
The one that was too strong for us?
That's the one.
But Reva, you may die if we use that. You are not strong enough to send that much light.
What was it that Old Kaston told us?
He sighed. It is better to die in battle, protecting the weak, than it is to die old and rich in a stronghold.
I kill to protect the rogues that are killed every day.
Now you do.
This is the best way for me to die, doing what I love. Darsor, I'm in the most dangerous battle for my life I ever have had, and I protected a lot of rogues from a lot of dolls. I have lived in a way that would make Old Kaston proud.
I hate when you give speeches like that. It is very unlike you. Shut up and we'll attack.
Reva smiled up at Davnick. Get his wings. If he can't fly we take away one of his advantages.
Dasor nodded and bounded at her, taking one long leap to her and transforming into his dagger form.
Reva caught him and twisted, pushing as much of her magic into the dagger as she could, more than she had ever handled before, and threw it straight at Davnick. "Eat this Dav!" She yelled.
The dagger sped to him, glowing brighter and brighter until an enormous tiger head made of light grew out of the tip and opened its jaws to bite Davnicks wing. It caught it.

Everlee

The rogues were very powerful. I know I can't stop them myself.

"Tige, help me!" I shout. I crouch down to the ground and put both hands down. I used my entire strengh that I could.

Darren, help! Darren conscentrated.

I felt the ice push forward through the ground towards the deuling rogues. Tige was helping me from behind. I closed my eyes and brought my hands up. Screams of fury and rage sounded from the two rogues, now incaged in ice. I opend my eyes but didn't move.

In one ice block, I could see a man, the only thing free was his head. In the other... wait, it's empty. No, I can feel someone in the ice. They are just invisible.

"Don't drop either ice blocks!" I shout to Tige. "She's still in there."

We wait for the rogues to stop yelling and cursing before we do anything. Finally, I stand up, leaving my hands in the same position.

"Who are you?" I ask. "And why are you trying to kill eachother.

(Sorry, it's short and not the best peice I've written. I didn't have time for anything else.)

Elise:

I slowly approach one of the ice blocks, where the guy was in. I knock on the ice block, then turn to Everlee.

"Nice job," I praised. Everlee nodded.

"We should at least melt one of them, so they can explain," I suggested. "Maybe this one?" I pressed my finger on the boy's ice block.

"I have a feeling that invisible over there has a bigger attitude than me," I said with a tone.
(Sorry it's short!)

Reva

I snarled at them through the ice, intentionally invisible. Of course I would be stopped from either a) killing the psychotic blood traitor or b) dying. Only someone with my luck would be stopped. I struggled uselessly for a minute then growled at the futility of it.
Darsor, do you have any power left?
I can, give me five minutes.
Five minutes? That's all?
We aren't running on empty yet Master
I smiled and started gathering every particle of light I could into my body. Fine. If the rogues were going to attack both the blood traitor and I, then clearly they were much worse than him. I could deal with Davnick later, but for now, I was going to destroy anyone who dared imprison me.

Davnick

What the.... what in Sarnin's Name just happened!? I thought. The only thing I was regestering now was cold, and pain. My eyes had long since stopped functioning correctly, thanks to Reva's cursed light flashes. I blinked rappidly so they would adjust faster. I tried to replay what had just happened.

I had been winning. My air advantage was making the battle fairly strait-forward. I had gotten some nasty cuts and bites from Reva's light-tiger-thing, but I knew I could hold out longer than she could. Then, her tiger turned into some freaky, glowing daggar, which she threw at me. Okay, thats all clear up to that point. Then, the daggar bit me. It got my wing... I started to fall... but I never hit the ground.

My eyes were beginning to work again. I could see light, and blurry colors. I need to see... whats going on. I thouhgt. I was so frustrated at my blindness, I lost my outward-composure and started cursing. Blindness... Idiot! I flared my sonar, and immieadatly hit a wall.

What? I was surrounded by a freezing cold block of... somehting... Ice you moron. Okay, so I was surrounded by ice. I pushed my sonar so I could see past the frigid wall. There were several people around me, and another ice block in front of me. It's Reva. I realized. Somebody froze Reva and me. Who...?

Suddenly a voice sounded. "Nice job!" It was a girls voice. She was standing right in front of my ice block.

"We should at least melt one of them, so they can explain. Maybe this one?" Said another girl.

Okay, so there are a bunch of Rogues and Pets around... the ones I sensed from the villiage earlier, definantly. I hadn't realzed that Reva and mines battling had gotten so close to the village. Man, I'm getting lazy.

My eyes were focusing, and I blinked a few more times. I looked down at the blurry images of the girls in front of me. They were pretty, if you cared about that kind of thing.

The second voice spoke, comming from a girl with blonde hair and big, brown eyes. "I have a feeling that invisible one over there has a bigger attitude than me."

I looked around the clearing, calming myself inside and out. There were six people and an assortment of pets surrounding the ice blocks. Some were Rogues, some Dolls. And they're not trying to kill eachother? They continued to talk.

The first girl, the one with brown hair and eyes, spoke again. "I think you're right Elise. This one might look scarier, but he looks more reasonable too. I don't think he will hurt us."

I gave a hystarical, mental giggle. Wont hurt you? I'd kill you without a thought if you were worth something.

Another girl walked up to me. She had long black hair. "Hmm, I don't know Everlee. Those metal claw-things look dangerous. I and I could swear I've seen him before."

I stared down at the three, idiot girls in disbelief. They honestly dont know who I am. Reva didn't regognize me, and now these stupid girls too... I broke into another mental giggle. Aw man, I'm so exausted. Just then, a boy with brown hair and startling blue eyes cried out.

"Hey! Guys! I found an awesome leather jacket over here!" I swung my head around to see the idiot wearing my jacket! "Aww darn. It has a huge rip in the sleve." He said, wiggling his whole arm through a tear as long as my forearm.

I saw red, and in that moment, all I wanted to do was kill everybody in that clearing, starting with the blue-eyed moron, and ending with Reva. It wouldnt have been so bad, if it hadn't been that jacket. But now, that man had to die.

I sent a shockwave of lightning out around me. It shattered the ice and stunned the three girls in front of me. I took to the sky as best I could with my injured wing, just as Reva gave a blood-curdling scream of rage.

The clearing burst into caos.

(I hope thats okay... I havent worked with your characters yet, so tell me if anything is wrong.)

Tige:

I could feel the male rouge powering up. I released the ice block he was encased in and lunged to block Seena from what I knew was some sort of an attack. A blinding flash of lightening ripped through Everlee's ice, shattering it like a bullet through glass. I made it to Seena just in time and was able to partially block Elsie from the light but I was unable to reach Everlee and Darren in time. Both fell stunned to the ground.

The male rouge was standing on the alert facing our group his iron claws at the ready his whole wing spread forth wide. . I as gently as I could pushed the girls behind me and stood to my full height and roared.

For a moment I thought I saw fear or at least strong dislike flit across the boys face, he seemed slightly taken aback. Here was my chance. I half shifted and threw one of my bear claws straight at him. He easily dodged (Part of my plan,) and I switched my forms. I came up behind him in my bear body, put him a strangle hold on him with my paws claws just digging into his flesh and sunk my jaws into the pivotal joint of his good wing.

"Make any sudden moves and I tear it from your back boy." I growled though the blood and feathers. He froze, still as a stone.

(Hope this works! I wasn't sure if the wings were feathers or bat-like,I can edit if I got it wrong. Also Blondie I sent you a PM if you could just let me know if you got it I would be most grateful! )

Reva

I watched all heck break loose as Davnick smashed out of his ice prison and almost destroyed mine completely too. The main part was that he had set me free, and I wasn't wounded. "Darsor!" I snapped, and a dagger formed in my hand and I leapt on the polar bear pet as he attacked Davnick. I plunged my dagger into his shoulder and leapt away as he roared in pain and fell off of Davnick.
Davnick and I stood back to back and faced our attackers, and I let myself go slightly visible.
"That was a very big mistake." I stated, and released Darsor into his tiger form. The faster we finished this, the sooner we could finish off Davnick.
"I- I thought you guys were fighting against each other," A doll girl said, looking at us with apprehension.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend," Davnick replied sagely.
"That was intelligent." I snapped at him and disappeared. "Let's get this over with."
Darsor let out a growl of approval and faded into invisibility as well. Race you.
You're on old friend.

Tige:

The invisible rouge, a female, suddenly attack and gave me a painful stab wound on my shoulder. I roared and let loose of the male rouge.

These two were insane! They were attacking each other yet would join forces to attack us as well. Seena rushed to my side and probed the wound with her fingers.

“Are you badly wounded?” She asked.

“It's nothing- I have a lot of extra flesh on my shoulders for taking such blows.” Our enemies were getting ready to attack. I cursed under my breath, I had hoped to have time to prepare Seena for this, but it was not to be.

“Seena you'll have to use my weapon form for this fight. Our enemies are strong and you will be killed if you don't use me. In my weapon form I can control your movements to counter attacks until you learn for yourself. I will keep you safe!” she went wide eyed.

“Will this work? We haven't practiced anything yet.” she said as I shifted, she took my bear-claws in her hands. I could feel our spirits link so I could sense her thoughts and she mine. I could sense her fear, yet her trust in me. I wold not fail that kind of trust for a second time.

“It will work little one. It will work!”

We stood to the ready facing the two rouges. Seena with a surprising amount of ease twirled my bear-claws in her hands

“Alright! Who's first?” She challenged smiling, not showing the terror she felt, she truly had a warriors heart.

(I like me a good old fashioned action scene. Complete with a good amount of blood and guts! )

Davnick

I ignored Reva's stab at my intelligence, and glanced around. We had been surrounded. The bear had dissappeared, and now one of the girls was holding claw-like weapons. There's no way that bear was her Pet. She looks too young and inexperienced to have a pet that knows how to fight so well. Reva jabbed me with her elbow, hard. I looked over my shoulder to... nothing. She had gone invisible. I started my sonar, and she and her tiger came into view.

"What?" I asked quietly, irritated.

"Will you cover me so I can attack? I'm plenty fast, but there are just too many. Not to mentoin a surprize attack would be nice. And stop looking at me! Everybody will know where I am!"

What she said surprized me. Well, not the snippy part about me looking at her. That she would ask for my help directly caught me off balance. She didn't seem too happy about having to ask either, but she also seemed to be the kind of person who dealt with crap as it was handed to her. She didn't worry about petty hatred when her life was on the line. I felt a breif spark of admiration flare before I snuffed it.

"I can do even better than that." I said, allowing my teeth to sharpen again. I gave a nasty grin to the blue-eyed guy, who cringed. He was still wearing my jacket! "But lets get one thing strait. After this is over, I'm taking you out."

Reva laughed sarcastically. "What, are you planning on buying me dinner, Dav?"

I glared at her. "No, thats not what I-"

"NOW!" She screamed. She leaped strait in the air, and I reacted withought thinking. I raised my hand, gripping at nothing. Fang shimmered and appeared, smokey-looking and translucent. I drove him blade-first into the ground, and blackness consumed the clearing.

(That would be his cloaking ability... and he has bat-like wings. )

Everlee

The clearing exploided in darkness, just after I had ragained my vision.

"Tess," I shouted.

"I'm trying!" she shouted back.

Great, Tess's light isn't working! I thought fratically to Darren.

Then what do we do? he demands.

I thought for a moment. I don't... Wait!

You aren't ready... Darren warned, but he agreed with me. I crouched down to the ground and stuck my hand in the dirt. It was hard, but with my water I could push my hands deep into the ground. I felt the ice collecting as I gathered the water from the ground. I stood up and pulled my hands out of the ground. My ice claws had ropes of water coming from the end. I looked down at my new whips and smiled.

All we have to do is wear them down, I said.

I walked forward to where I thought the two of them would be, still covered in darkness. My foot bumped into something and I crouched down to see what it was. One more to go, I think as I take a step over the man.

Is he dead? Darren asked.

No, just unconcious. I walked forward and froze.

"Light Rogue!" I shouted.

Pushing your luck, Darren warned again. I ignored him.

"I know you're exausted. We already have your friend down."

There was a chuckle. "You think he's my friend?"

I ignored her. "We'll make you a deal!" She chuckled again. "Stop fighting! We just want to talk!"

Davnick

My hearing came back first. I passed out. I have no energy left. I hadn't expected the huge draw on my power Cloaking the feild would take. I heard shouting, and a girl... Everlee? It was one of the girls who had been standing in front of my ice block, at any rate.

"I know you're exausted. We already have your friend down."

"You think he's my friend?" That would be Reva's, ever snarky voice.

"We'll make you a deal!" Called Everlee. She was standing only a few feet away. "Stop fighting! I just want to talk!"

I took my opening, and jumped up as gracefully as I could. I noticed for the first time that my wings had receeded, and my claws were gone. I looked around and saw Fang lying about ten feet away. Crap.

Something glittered, and caught my eye. Fang's Key was two feet away, right behind Everlee. I dashed for it, scooped it up, and in one smooth motion, pressed it against Everlee's throat.

Skylar:

My eyes widened and I took my sword out quickly.

"Let her go!" I cried. Elise lowered the sword.

"Dummy," she murmured. "He's a rogue, he probably isn't scared of a metal blade," she said. I sheathed my sword. Ugh, this means I'm going to have to use my combat skills. For Everlee, definitely. Elise approached the rogue slowly.

"Why were you guys fighting?" she asked. The rogue tightened his grip, making me wince at the sight.

"Elise!" I shouted.

"Calm down," she replied. She turned and seemed to be looking into the rogue's eyes.

"Will you answer?" she asked softly. My eyes widened. Elise? This nice? I waited to see what would happen.
