So for all ye Canadians and Americans, what are you all doing to celebrate your respective national holidays this weekend? Barbeque? Fireworks? Non-stop Legend of Zelda marathon? Inquiring minds want to know!
Mama and Papa Hut don't usually tell me these things, but judging from Memorial Day, past weekends, plus past years of the Fourth, Jabber will be having all sorts of adventures involving bike rides, American history movies, never-ending drive trying to find the place(s) they want to go, fireworks, downtown parade, and WoW. 8D
By the way things have been going, we'll likely be having a massive pool party/birthday party for my best friend (her birthday is July 5th) so we'll just make it one big fandango in her backyard seeing as her boyfriend is on house arrest in her basement...
I sometimes question my choice in best friends...
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
I honestly have no clue. I'll probably be hanging out with my dad's side of the family or with my own family or something. Something along those lines...
Lol, there were fireworks yesterday. I still don't know why.
I guess everyone forgot Independence Day is on the 4th of July.
I am nothing but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's or maybe like pocket candy that's just a bit too sweet.
One year I was in Cincinnati for a Mission trip and we were there for Canada day and 4th of the July. There was a Canadian youth group there and they had those temporary tattoos with maple leaves on them. This year I'm with my Aunt and Uncle, we'll probably just have hot dogs and hamburgers and set of those little fireworks that don't leave the ground, maybe sparklers. Oh, we all match too. I got a skirt and flag tank top from Old Navy, and my Aunt did do. We're so corny.

It has to do with money. A fireworks display on the 4th is very expensive. You can save as much as 75% by having it on another day, which is something country clubs have almost always done and a lot of towns/cities are starting to do due to the poor economy.
