Books You Want To Read

(I do really want to read Great Expectations. It's been on my reading list for months).

Also, Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. I've always wanted to read it but it's quite big and sounds so sad that I've never quite had the heart to.

Also, on a less tome-y sort of note, Mercy by Rebecca Lim. Not because it looks particularly good but all year I've been trying to convince my friends that Mercy is a pretty name, and here's a book with an MC and a title of Mercy. Which is kind of cool.

The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

and

The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss

Also, High Lord's Fury by Jim Butcher

I want to read a book about my entire life!

The Supernaturalists Sequel
The first Supernaturalists was one of the first chapter books I read by myself and it helped me improved my writing skills.
I cannot wait until the sequel comes out.

All right -- what I really want to read:

Pet Sematary, The Shining, Children of the Corn & Carrie by Stephen King -- there are others, but those are the ones I can think of. I'll pretty much read anything by Stephen King. I wanna be scared.
The Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett -- I love that man. Especially his Tiffany Aching novels.
Alice in Zombieland -- not sure who wrote it, but I saw the cover at the bookstore and it looked intriguing.
The Uglies series by Scott Westerfield -- never read them, but I've heard a lot about them.
The Maximum Ride books by James Patterson -- he's been on Castle. I have to check out his stuff now.

I want to read Burned by Ellen Hopkins. I've read Crank, Impulse, Identical, and Tricks, but I've not read any of the others and I'd really like to. They're just too amazing.

Also, I've wanted to read Carrie by Stephen King and this other one that I looked at the other day. It looked really good, but it was new and it was like $20.
