One of the other girls asked, "Who's Anansi?" I answered, "Anansi is a hero, but also a trickster. Tricksters like to fool around with mortals like the mortals were toys. That's why I compared Anansi with Wolf's brother." I looked at the floor, recalling what Auntie told me. "Anansi is known to be a judgemental god, a bringer of justice to all mortals. However, Anansi is also villianous. According to belief, Anansi was tricked into defeat by a wax girl. To trick a trickster is very rare. If Leo is villianous and prefers to call the rest of us as toys, then Anansi is no match for Leo." Silence fell on the others. I gave up. I went to my room and shut myself in. If the others wouldn't hear me out, then I shouldn't have spoken at all.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
Wolf stared after Arthur's retreating back before he turned back to the others. "Ghostfire over there is right. My brother is very like a child in his love of play. The problem is that his games can be lethal. And like a child, he understands that games have rules. Leo is many things, but a cheater is not one of them. If you can get him to agree to the terms he will follow those rules to the letter, so long as you play the game."
He could see his explanation confused them. Someone without a conscience playing by the rules was a contradiction to them. "Leo thinks it's more challenging that way. If you remember nothing else about my twin, remember that." Wolf explained to them.
Leu de Ardere- Leo:
Leo spun on his heel examing the luxurious penthouse he stood in. It was the most expensive suite in the hotel. Marble floors, antique furnishings, state of the art technology. A perfect place for him to rest while he waited for Wolf and his new friends to make their move. Leo thought with an inward snarl. Friends, Wolf didn't need any friends except him.
Turning Leo flashed the young employee a charming grin, as he handed her his credit card. "I'll take it." He told her.
*If anyone is wondering where Leo got all this money. After he killed his family he went a short but very succesfull crime spree.*

Eve: It seems to take Arthur's mind off his aunt for a little bit when he talks about the story of Anansi, but when none of us can think of anything to say, he sighs and stalks off. Wolf tells us that Arthur is right and explains more about his brother. I'll try to remember that tip. Remember, ha. I smirk at the inside joke.

"The name stuck with me until she died." He said. Tears began to fall on his cheeks. I wiped them away with my hand.
"I'm sorry." I said quietly. He shook his head then lifted his chin, trying to ask like nothing had happened, and he was all of a sudden tough again. I just looked at him, though he wasn't looking at me, thinking. I felt different with Arthur too.Maybe I don't feel anything special with Wolf, I thought. I had never had any friends, so maybe that's just what I was feeling…
My head started to hurt. I wasn't use to this new life. There were so many things I had to discover, including separating my feelings. How was I supposed to know what love or friendship really was? The only things I knew were adult relationships and the relationships I stories and fairytails.
I didn't want to deal with all that right then, so I shook it off, took Arthur by the arm, and returned to the kitchen. Wold was still talking, explaining more about his twin. For some reason, I was feeling excited about this. Of course, I didn't know what real-life villains were like, so I didn't know what he could dish out. Still, I was eager to discover more about my powers. Plus, at the side of my new group, I knew we could accomplish great things. Most importantly, though, I wanted out bond to become stronger. We had all run away, so now, we were a family!

*OOC: Well, since some people's dropping out, I'm going to spice things up a little bit.

Although I was upset about my loss, I was afraid I would lose my fellow Elementals to Leo. I decided to play Anansi. I climbed out through the window and began sneaking away from the house. Knowing the woods, it was hard for me to get lost. I waited and saw a person with bloodred hair. At last, we meet for the first time, Leo, I thought. When he was directly below me, I dropped a handful of dirt on his head. After that, I jumped from tree and let loose my fire power. Dark violet flames surrounded me and Leo, keeping him trapped and rendering me alone. I was beginning to lose both strength and control as I kept the ring of dark violet fire burning. I taunted, "How do like them apples, Leo?" It suddenly crossed my mind that I was up against a fellow Fire Elemental, so...I whispered, "Aw, crap."
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
"Oh, are you OK?" Someone asked. Ghostfire had begun to cry, silent tears dripping down his face. "I'm fine," He said, wiping his face. "So, what's our next move? Leo knows where we are, so what can we do? We could run- but that would make him chase us, maybe we could protect the house somehow?" I turned to Wolf, "You know your brother, what do you think is his next move?"
Eve: While Lidz was working on a plan, I glanced out the window... and noticed a lot of fire! "Guys!" I shouted, standing up. "That's not the color of Leo's flames," Wolf said. "Where's Arthur?" I asked. Everyone ran to his room. He was gone. I groaned.

I could barely control the ring of fire. My strength was slowly waning and the flames were getting out of control. I started to get on my knees as I weaken. Leo had a smile on his face, like he was enjoying the sight of watching me weaken. After I was drained of strength and power, Leo came up to me and began dragging me away by the arms. My ring of fire was out since I couldn't keep it going without losing strength. Where was Leo taking me, I wasn't sure. I felt like I was going to faint, so I passed out as I was still dragged away.
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
"Bugger!" I suddenly cried, "Ghostfire can control fire!" I remebered the candle he'd shown me. "Well, it must be his," Eve said. "Wolf, is Leo here? Can you sense him?" I felt horrible asking him this, like he was computer that you asked questions and they always gave you the answers. I knew what it was like. "I don't ... know," "I can check," I paused time, and looked at Wolf for a moment. How must it feel? To always be running? We were alike, but so different- he was always running, I was running from my whole town, him from his brother. I sighed, and feeling my head begin to pound like a drum, I rewound time.

I played time again, and found my nose bleeding. "Gah!" My head felt like it was splitting, controlling time was becoming harder- and it was my main element...why? "Leo...he...took...Ghostfire..." I straigtened up, winced and wiped away the blood. I squeezed my eyes shut, and put my head in my hands. "It hurts," I heard myself whimper, and was suprised by how child-like I sounded, "Why?"
Eve: Arthur has been caught. Stupid, stupid Arthur! Why'd he go out there alone! "We have to save him, don't we?" but I know the answer, even as I ask the question. We all know the answer. We have to save him. No matter what. We're a group now. We have to look out for our own.

"Yeah. We have to save him." Wolf agreed. "About the only good thing about this is how early it is in the game. Leo won't kill him. He's too entertained right now." He admitted wryly.
Frustrated Wolf bit his lip as he looked around at the others. "Guys, don't kill him please? Despite everything he's still my brother."
"Why would you ask us that?" Lidz queried. "By everything you've said he's made your life hell."
The conviction in Wolf's voice was harder then steel when he replied. "I was born first. Leo is my responsibility."
Eve shook her head in exasperation. "We need to find where he's taken Ghostfire. Now."
He raked his fingers through white streaked dark hair. "I can tell what direction he's in but since the city is that way too it's not much help." Suddenly a thought crossed Wolf's mind and he laughed. "But we don't need it. Leo likes his creature comforts. We just need to find the most expensive hotel in the city."
Leu de Ardere- Leo:
Sighing in contentment Leo settled into the thick leather chair and glanced over at his new house ghuest. He hadn't bothered tying the other boy up. Leo more than anyone knew the futility of binding a fire elemental. They simply burned through the ropes or melted the chains.
"That is if they have half a brain." Leo thought sardonically.
Still it was a good start. His twin had the loyalty and protective nature of the animal he had been named for. Take one of the others and Wolf would come after him. Leo abruptly paused in his musings as he noticed his ghuest begin to stir.
