*OOC: Here's a little twist that I bet nobody expect.*

I almost paniced when time frozed. It wasn't my doing, but Uncle Jeremy's. I looked at him and gasped, "You're a Time Elemental?! Why didn't you tell me?"
Uncle Jeremy said, "Now's the moment to talk. Hurry, get the others to basement and then we'll talk."
The last one I had to get to the basement was Lidz, who was out like a light for a moment. I said, "We're all here, Uncle. Let's talk. How could you be an Elemental of Time?"
Uncle Jeremy explained, "The men on your mother's side of the family were always Elementals of Time, as were the women as Elementals of Fire. Normally when a boy is in our family, it's expected that the child could control time. You, Razi, are the first in our family to control both time and fire."
I asked, "But how can you be able to use time without wearing yourself out?"
Uncle Jeremy answered, "As you grow up, the consequence of using time becomes more toleratable. Every time I use my time-control, it feels like a pinch. You'll know how to use your time-control more easily when you're older."
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

Lidz ¬ (Do you mind if I do this? It's an idea I've been sitting on)

"I don't understand. I suffer using time more than is possible, watch," I froze time, held it fast forwarded it, rewound it, warped it before finally resuming it. I gasped clutching my stomach. My head throbbed, my nose was streaming with blood, as were my ears. My eyes began to itch. They'd begun to leak.
Blood.
I looked Arthur's uncle in the eye.
"Is this what you call normal? It's been getting worse ever since Leo first came." I swiped the blood off my face. Someone held my arm as I began to sway dangerously, but I shrugged it off gently. "I faint when someone uses Time. I bleed from my ears, nose and eyes, for friggin' hells sake! I get headaches, my eyesight blurs, this is not normal, why won't no one belive me!"

Lup Eoliene- Wolf:

Wolf closed his eyes in resignation. "Perfect." He muttered. "Just perfect." It was one thing after another. Was a breather between disasters too much to ask? Really?

Gently he steered Lidz over to the dusty old couch so she could sit down. "Actually Lidz, it's a perfectly normal reaction. For an elemental exposed to a Vampyre. We're their natural prey and this is the result. Over time you'll develop an even stronger resistance to backlash then normal elementals. If you live that long. But until then it's a pretty raw deal. If it makes you feel any better I spent almost the entire first year after Leo's 'change' worshipping the porcelain god."

"Wait a minute. You kids are dealing with a corrupted elemental?" Arthur's Uncle looked a little wild eyed at the thought. Elementals who gave into their darker instincts were feared for a reason.

Arthur had a baffled look on his face. "Is it really that bad? I mean there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between Leo and normal elementals."

"Yes." Wolf snapped along with Uncle Jeremy. "It's really that bad."

The debate broke off suddenly as they heard the sound of many footsteps pounding overhead.

Lidz ¬ ( 4 multiple posts? Did I use my time element wrong? xD )

Leo caused this? I tensed, listening to the footsteps overhead. I'm sorry. I opened my mouth to apologies, but the footsteps quickened. Everyone held their breath. What Wolf had said struck me like a bolt.
"Over time you'll develop an even stronger resistance to backlash then normal elementals. If you live that long."
Leo could kill me. It hadn't struck home, but now it did. I put my head in my hands, and thought.
If there was I chance I would die, why not risk it?
"Wolf, do not follow me. You said Leo could kill me if I don't survive his ... vampyre powers. Theres a higher chance I'll die than that of if I survive, because of what my town did to me. Don't follow me. I feel bad saying so, but with your brother feeding off me, I can sense him. His emotions. The one now is blood lust. He's here. He wants to hurt us like he hurt me and you. Don't follow me." Wolf grabbed my arm. I shook him off and paused time. I stared at his face. I wish I'd known him longer. My gaze wandered. I wish I'd known them all better. I walked upstairs, opened the beasement door, locked it, and turned to face Leo. Along with a whole group of people armed to the teeth. I played time. Before I knew it, Leo's fangs had come out, and everything was black.

(OOC: I just wanted to stop a massive battle scence, otherwise we'll keep having them. If Leo uses my character as a hostage, some other people could get caught, becasue no one dares fight. It's up to you. I'll delete the post if you want)

Storm:
Lidz must have used her time elemental. After she showed all of us the backlash from it. Now Leo has another hostage. There's way more of us! Why is he able to beat us?
I thought, at first, that we should just go rescue her. I was about to say something, but I realized Lidz would likely be unconscious. This time, we have to be concerned that Lidz is completely defenseless.
At the same time, we can't sit around and plan. Leo could kill her any second.
"Come on." I bend the words from nothing and direct them into Eve's ears so no one else will hear them. "We're going. Just us. We're both water and you con do that fusing thing. Come ON." I know she won't say no.
She nods, and I bend my words so they go directly to Wolf's ears. I can trust him to relay them correctly.
"We're going to try to talk to Leo. Eve can bend water from nothing. Just make a plan." I keep it short- don't want to waste any energy, do I?
He nods at the end of the sentence. He heard. We head up the stairs. Lidz only told Wolf not to follow her, so technically we're allowed to.
"Stay on the stairs and bend as much water as you can. I'll distract him." The words are loud and clear, but only Eve and I hear them. She nods again.
I step through the door at the top of the stairway. "Leo." I amplify the word, but keep it contained inside the house.
He turns. Wow. He looks really crazy. This may not have been my best plan. "A sound Elemental. Impressive." His fangs are out, and he's holding Lidz (unconscious) in his arms.
I send Eve a quick message. "I've gotta borrow a little water." I use some of the water she created to surround myself. "Don't forget water." I splash a little of the water on his arm. I can tell Lidz is almost awake.
I just have to hold out until Eve has enough water and the others have a decent plan. I can feel a bit of my strength draining out of me with the use of the water. Sound is much easier to bend. I shape the water into a small ball and throw it at Leo. Wolf said he likes games. Well, I'll do my best, though I've never been fond of games.
The water turns to steam. "Impressive," I say. I'm dealing with a full Elemental. I have to remind myself that he's a whole lot more powerful than me.

(OOC: I figured someone could be downstairs planning. And then, of course, there's Lidz. She could wake up soon. Oh, and Eve.)
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.

Leu de Ardere- Leo:

Leo's eyes narrowed as his gaze moved from one girl to the other. One of the human agents came up beside him and took Lidz from him. He wasn't worried, Leo knew PIA had plenty of ways to subdue paras. With his hands no longer occupied Leo was free to concentrate on Storm and Eve.

As the streams of water shot toward him Leo blocked each one. The humidity in the room rose rapidly as the steam accumulated. Leo's lip curled, baring a fang in irritation. His hands snapped out to either side and twin licks of flame shot toward the duo. They were long thin and wicked fast, moving like whips. Leo's epponents reacted quickly to snuff the fires but they still leaped back in surprise.

Smiling Leo increased the whip-flames. Two became four, then eight, then a dozen. And soon enough Eve and Storm were hard pressed to block them all. As more and more water evaporated the steam thickened until it became almost impossible to see, and the human operatives made their move. Slipping up behind the girls and taking them by surprise as they focused on Leo.

*In case anyone is wondering para is slang for paranormal anomoly. I was thinking the whole group, or at least most of them could get caught and stage a mass break-out. If that's agreeable I figure the humans outside could catch them by gassing the place or something.*

I was almost awake. The steam was clogging up the room,
and the agent holding me was fumbling around. I managed to
slip out of his grasp and I began to crawl on the floor.
My neck ached, and I hoped dearly Leo hadn't done what
I thought he'd done. I didn't check. I crawled across the dewy floor,
and desperately tried to reach the basement. I'd fight to the death to
protect them. I reached the two girls. I grabbed Storm by the arm,
and she shrieked, stopping when she realized it was me. A hand
circled my waist, and I didn't have the energy to stop whoever it was.

OOC: Can't really post much, but I don't mind whoever that is^^

Eve:
I knew that people were creeping around us. I could sense the water in their blood and perspiration on their faces. But I couldn't do anything about it because Leo was keeping us busy. I knew Lidz had grabbed Storm's arm and an agent had grabbed Lidz. I sent a gush towards the agent, who backed off a little bit, and was barely able to stop the next flame from Leo. My head ached awfully. My vision began to blur. I couldn't keep this up much longer. I made as much water for Rain as I could before fainting.

I found it tough to swallow that Leo was a corrupted Elemental. With Lidz suffering severe damage from Leo's power, I couldn't let the others go down without a fight. I felt like I was burning, but that was because of my ghostfire. I wanted to use it, but Uncle Jeremy stopped me in my tracts. I snapped, "I have to fight him, Uncle. I have to."
Uncle Jeremy said calmly, "Go against a corrupted Elemental and you'll become the same. You need to know what you're up against and where to find its weaknesses. Once you're sure it's safe, go to a certain Elemental known by the name of Seshat. She's a distant relative of yours, the only Elemental with an unusual power that only she knows of. Like you, she is an Elemental of Fire that has a color to it. Her fire is black when she is strong, but it becomes pale when she is weak. Once you and the other Elementals are away from Leo, look for Seshat."
I had to ask: "Is she colored?"
Uncle Jeremy answered, "Seshat is white, like yourself. She's an Elemental of Fire on her mother's side and nothing more."

Lup Eoliene- Wolf:

"Isn't that contradictory? I've fought Leo plenty of times and haven't been corrupted. Wolf thought in bafflement. "I'm his twin! If anyone was going to be corrupted it would be me!" As the sounds of fighting above began to slake off Wolf shoved that confusing issue to the back of his mind to focus on the more immediate problems.

"We can't just leave the girls behind!" Wolf protested. It had galled him to let the others go up and fight his brother while he stayed in hiding. It went against everything he was to be protected, all his life Wolf had stood on the front line. He couldn't run away like this, it just wasn't something Wolf could do.

Leu de Ardere- Leo:

Leo smiled grimly as one of the girls fainted. Lidz had been grabbed by a PIA agent again so that just left Storm. Unfortunately Eve had left her quite a large amount of purified water as a parting gift before passing out. Worse all the steam in the room was starting to make it hard to ignite the oxygen. The high levels of humidity meant he had to put more strength into each new flame.

He'd always known he would be at a disadvantage against water elementals. It was the nature of the beast. But Leo had never realised just how large that disadvantage could become. "If this battle continues much longer it will be me on the defensive." Leo thought with an inner snarl as he struck.

This time Leo tried the indirect approach. As Storm focused on his flames, he heated the floor beneath her to an unbearable degree. Soon enough the heat melted the soles of her shoes. Storm yelped with pain and jumped back. She hadn't stood on the heated floor long enough to cause real damage, but Leo had succeeded in his aim. The pain had shattered her concentration and the large amounts of water crashed to the ground, soaking everyone.

One of the humans jumped forward and tasered her, Leo winced in pretend sympathy as Storm finally passed out.

*If Arthur and Wolf aren't going to fight we should jump forward a few hours.*

Lidz ¬

I struggled in the agents grip. He let go of me, flinging me to the floor at Leo's feet. He stared down at me in distaste.
"Your only hurting Wolf, hurting us," I spat, trying to get up. He didn't reply. I'd told Wolf not to, but I still hoped he'd come. The only thing that kept me standing was knowing that they were safe. I stood up, glaring at him. He grabbed my chin with two fingers, and tilted it to look at both sides of my face. His other hand lingered on the two marks at my neck. I jerked backwards.
"Don't even think about it," I sneered. He shrugged, and walked over to Storm. I held my ground. His fangs retracted, glinting, a red glow in his eye. "Wait..."
He smiled, and his fangs gliding back in. He walked over to me, and I stayed awake long enough to feel his fangs break the skin of my wrist. Why not my neck? I wondered drowsily, before I slumped.

*You want Wolf and Arthur to fight, you got it.*

Uncle Jeremy gave me a small pendant and said, "This belonged to Seshat's mother. Once Seshat has the time to see the pendant, she'll know I sent you. However, I think the years of being shut out from her little ones has made her distrust the family."
Wolf asked, "Why?"
Uncle Jeremy answered, "A few years ago, Seshat's father stole her twin babies from their cradles. Seshat tried to retrieve them, but her father- as the word went around- had gave the babes away for adoption. Seshat swore that her twin children would find her, even if one of them was corrupted. She hasn't spoke to anyone in the family but me ever since. Once Seshat knows I sent you, she'll let you talk."
I looked at Wolf. I may not have seen Cousin Seshat, but I had a feeling she might recognize Wolf. I felt my temper flaring. I growled, "You're the one Leo wants. If you knew that all of us would get into this mess, you wouldn't have met us all in the first place."
Wolf growled like the animal of his namesake.
I hissed, "Eat flames, Mutt-boy." I loosed a ring of ghostfire around Wolf and my chest began to heave. After a deep inhale, I breathed a jet of fire at Wolf.

*OOC: You guys can probably guess what's strengthening his fire power.*

*Ooh that's a good twist. Also, this is now the third time in the same night that Leo has fed. He may be a bloodsucker but he's not a glutton.*

Lup Eoliene- Wolf:

"You don't think I know that!?" Wolf shouted, wind howling in a vortex around him. The flames whipped along the jetstream and left Wolf unharmed. Enraged, Wolf lashed out right back at Arthur. Everyone he knew and loved was dead, and he dared to think Wolf didn't understand the consequences!? "Last time I checked the power to see the future isn't something any elemental posessed! Even Time Elementals live in the present! I warned every single one of you about what you were getting into! Don't you dare turn this around on me!"

The friction from the high speed winds sparked off small bolts of lightning. The strong air currents fueled Arthur's flames, the two elements combined and shot upward in a destructive wave.

Leu de Ardere- Leo:

Leo flinched and pulled away from Lidz. His brow furrowed as he felt along the twin bond. Pain, hurt, confusion and anger were all tangled up inside his brother, and the emotions weren't aimed at Leo. No, someone else had upset Wolf this time. Leo felt a faint stirring of pity for whoever it was. He had always been the bad twin, but Leo knew Wolf was far more dangerous when angered.

Suddenly Leo sensed a massive discharge of power beneath his feet. Eyes widening he gaze shot to Lidz, who had the same wide eyed expression of disbelief on her face. "Everyone out, now!" Leo shouted as he turned and bolted out the back door.

Seeing Leo sprint out of the house was a strong motivator for the human team Aly had sent with him. They snatched up their new captives and followed hot on his heels. Behind them a fire tornado shot out of the floor from the basement.

My blood was boiling as I smiled. I thought, Finally, some sport. I could use some fun while I'm here. I breathed another jet of ghostfire and took to the streets, asking Wolf to chase me. I knew he was on my tail, but I didn't care. I wanted to punish him for getting me involved in what was supposed to be a family affair. Once I had him in a junkyard, I surrounded him and myself in a ring of ghostfire to prevent him from escaping and anyone else from interfering. I grinned madly. I was enjoying all this.
Don't hurt him, Razi. He means the world to his real mother.
I held the ghostfire, but was hesitant to attack. The voice was not Auntie, but it seemed to have her wisdom in it. Whoever told me not to attack Wolf must've been insane.
Razi, I beg of you. Spare the wolf and the lion. Let their real mother handle them. It's their mother they want, not just each other. The voice was insistant but firm on its motion.
Suddenly I felt weak. The ring of ghostfire was put out by my weak state. I couldn't hold myself on my feet anymore. Without even a word to say, I passed out on the dirt below me and couldn't move as a hand grasped my right wrist and teeth plunged themselves into my arm. Leo was feeding off me, but slowly as if my blood was wine.

*OOC: You guys can start guessing on whose voice Arthur heard before losing his strength. I'll only give you this: it wasn't his uncle.*

*Enough with the feeding guys please. Leo only needs to feed something like once every 2-3 days. Let's just say he was establishing bloodlinks with the his living victims.*

Lup Eoliene- Wolf:

Wolf may have been ticked off at Arthur but there was no way he was just going to stand there and watch Leo feed off of him. Unfortunately he was getting low on power. There was another option, but Wolf really hadn't wanted to use it. Reaching down he drew the knife he kept hidden out of his boot and ran the blade across the palm of his hand.

As Wolf's blood welled to the surface Leo froze in place. His head turning to Wolf almost involuntarily. Leo's tounge flicked across his fangs as he moved towards Wolf. Leaving Arthur in a dazed heap on the ground. There was an almost entranced look in Leo's dark gold eyes. A look Wolf knew all too well.

"Why is he acting like that?" Arthur demanded, his voice slightly slurred.

Wolf backed warily away from Leo, his body tense as he waited for what he knew was coming. "It's simple Arthur. Who do you think Leo fed on first? To a corrupted elemental there is nothing sweeter than First Blood." Wolf's voice was cold and absent, his attention largely focused on his brother.

Suddenly Leo lunged forward and grabbed Wolf's arm. His fangs pierced Wolf's skin far more quickly then Wolf could dodge. Wolf flinched and tried to pull back but already he couldn't move. As far as he'd ever been able to figure out, Leo's fangs injected some kind of sedative that made his prey pliant and unresisting.

As Leo drew back from the feed the humans who had been with him caught up to the elementals. And pretty soon Arthur and Wolf were out for the count as well.

*Can we have them wake up in one PIA's holding facilities or something?*
