Eve: When the one boy stopped time, I followed them into the cottage and melted into the group. No one noticed that I wasn't in the group before; they must not know each other enough for an extra person or two to stand out. I watched with awe as one boy put out a fire ball with wind, and a girl put out the other three with rain. I still haven't figured out how to bend water on command, only my muscles remember, so I can only bend instinctively. I notice a boy with blonde hair and brown streaks off in a corner. He's whispering to a girl with blonde hair that must be his sister. "What's going on?" I ask them. The boy shrugs.

I heard the voice of another Elemental, a female at best. I got off the couch and snapped my fingers to light every candle in my lair. I was glad enough to finally have company for the first time since Auntie's passing, but something was bothering one of my fellow Elementals. To figure this out, I looked for Wolf. The cottage's second floor was no stranger to me, but where Wolf was mattered greatly to me. I cleared my throat and said, "Pardon me, Wolf, but you're in my bedroom." Wolf stared at me blankly. I glared at him and snapped, "I am not going to play the fool here. I suggest you get down with everybody else and tell us what we're up against. It's either that or I'll use my fire to torture you into talking. Take...your...pick."
Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
Wolf charged up stairs, followed by Rain. I heard him slump to the floor, and a horrible sizzling noise. I rushed upstairs to find Wolf and Rain unconcious, but one firebolt remaing. What could I do? I could control time and light ... what good would that do? Damn. I manipuated the light, and formed it into something that looked quite like a replica of the dark firebolts. I pushed it towards the dark firebolt, and froze time as I did so. The pressure pushed against my eardrums, I'd never controlled both at the same time. The light flew straight and true, shattering the last firebolt. I played time, and stopped the light bolt. My head ached, by hands felt burned and my chest felt as if it was being constricted. I touched my nose. It had begun to bleed. My eardrums were pounding like a drum, and I wasn't suprised to find them bleeding too. I couldn't affored to faint, but I was so tired... My vision swam. I tried in vain to wake Wolf up, but didn't have enough energy to try the same with Rain. I forced myself down the stairs and stumbbled, and I had only enough time to notice Arthur/Ghostfire storm upstairs before I crashed into the wall and darkness consumed me.
Please tell me if this isn't accurate! I know it's very short, but you might be expecting that from me for a little. I'm having trouble with writer's block and a whole bunch of other stuff!

I stood in the back of the room, quietly waiting. Then Arthur came down with Wolf, Rain, and Lidz. Rain and Lidz took a seat on the couch, looking as though they were about to die, and Arthur stood by Wolf at the front of the room.
"So, Wolf," Arthur prompted tensely, as though Wolf were an enemy and he was ready to attack of he did something wrong, "would you kindly explain to us what the crap is going on?!"

Lup Eoliene- Wolf:
Wolf glared at Ghostfire before he answered. Not that the other boys threat scared him, with his brother he'd lost all fear of fire a long time ago. "No doubt you guys have heard of the evil twin concept right?" Pausing Wolf saw the others nod, probably wondering where he was going with all this. "Well I actually have one."
"Don't worry about it though. I'll be out of your hair soon enough and take my problems with me." Spinning on his heel Wolf turned and started to leave the house, but paused when he heard one of the others tell him to wait.

"Wait!" I cried, "Don't leave!" "Lidz-" Ghostfire started. "No," I wiped the sticky blood from my nose, "Without Wolf, we can't forsee what his twin will do," It dawned on me suddenly. "Your twin isn't near is he?" Wolf paused, then shook his head. "Then he must have some sort of link with you. If he does, we need Wolf, for safety and ..." I don't want him to leave, I thought. He was, I thought, A friend of some sorts, I HOPED.
I opened my mouth to protest about Wolf leaving, but Lidz beat me to it.
"Wait! Don't leave!" She cried. After arguing with Arthur for a bit, she convinced Wolf to stay. Honestly, I was really glad. I didn't know him that well, but I always felt...different when I looked at him. I had never felt like that before, and even though I wasn't sure what it was, I didn't want it to end. I had a feeling Lidz felt the same way, though, so I didn't want to say anything. Besides, Wolf wouldn't fall for someone like me when there was a girl like Lidz or Rain or so many other girls.
"Lidz is right!" I said. Everybody turned around to look at me, and it seemed they hadn't known I was ever there. I shrugged it off and continued. "We don't know much about his brother, so how are we supposed to face him without Wolf?" I pauses as they tought about it, then continued. "Besides, we all came together at the same time. That's not just coincidence! It's fate! So do you really think we should split up again?"
After a bit of silence, Arthur finally said, "They're right. Would you please stay Wolf?"
(Okay I think this may be a bit inaccurate so just tell me if it is!)

"You guys better be sure about this. Leo is... not someone you want interested in you." Wolf warned them. "My brother is about is about as psychotic as they come. And the rest of you will be in a lot more danger than I am. My twin will never kill me or put me in lethal danger, however harsh the game. In his own way he loves me. But the rest of you.. he'd see you as interlopers in the games we play. At the best you would be toys for him to play with, and break at his leisure."
That was more words than Wolf had spoken in a long time. After that bit of information they might decide to kick him out after all, Wolf mused. But they deserved to know what they were getting into.

Hearing Wolf explain about his twin made me realize that we might need someone to tell us if we're in trouble or not. For that matter, Wolf just earned my respect. I decided to make myself useful by making some food for my company. All I could make was some kind of vegetable soup that Auntie always made during my life with her. When I was sure the soup was ready to be served, I called, "Dinner, everyone!" The others came, eager to have their bellies full. Some went for seconds, the rest just went for one serving.

But I was really glad Wolf was staying, so was Rain and Lily. I smiled at them both. I think we all had the same feelings. ( ) "Dinner!" I lolloped over to the table and sat down next to Lily and Rain. "Hi," I said.
"Yeah I saw that guy, he went off with a bunch of other teenagers. I recognized one of them. Arthur Thomastien, he lives in an old house on the edge of the city. Keeps to himself mostly. I don't think I've ever seen him with so many people before." The restaurant manager explained as returned the photograph of Wolf that Leo had shown him.
Leo tucked the photo in his pocket as he glanced outside. The rain had stopped and the sun had broken through the clouds. Turning the evening sky red, gold, and violet. The manager was only a year or two older than Leo, one of those kids who was just finding his feet and always strapped for cash. His nametag said his name was Steve.
Smiling Leo spoke to the clerk. "Listen Steve, could you do me a favor? The guy I'm looking for is a friend of mine. I've been meaning to visit him but I don't want to surprise him. Could you take him a message for me? I'll pay of course." Leo counted out five, hundred dollar bills from his wallet.
The guy's eyes bugged out as he stared at the cash, his voice incredulous. "Five hundred bucks to deliver a message? Sure, what's the message?"
"Just give him this card." Leo told him, laying it on the table beside the money.
Steve flipped the card over. "What's the language? Looks like gibberish to me."
Leo was already leaving the restaurant. He called back over his shoulder. "Don't worry about it. He'll know what it means." --------------------------- Lup Eoliene- Wolf:
Wolf tapped the card against the counter top as the others argued among themselves. With one stroke Leo had proven he was in town and knew exactly where they were.
Leaning over Arthur plucked the card out of Wolf's hand and examined it. "So what does it mean Wolf? I can't read this language.
Lips quirking in a small smile Wolf snatched the card back from Arthur as he answered. "The scorched paw print is Leo's signature. His way of telling me it's really from him. And the language is latin Ghostfire."
"You can read latin?" Lily asked, sounding surprised.
Shrugging Wolf continued. "Latin is just one of the languages I'm fluent in. The card says. 'Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. Your move brother.' Leo's being melodramatic. He's saying the game has now begun in earnest."

"He's saying the game's begun in earnest," The Wolf-boy said. I shivered. All the other girls swooned. I rolled my eyes. I didn't get what they saw in him. His hair reminded me of a skunk, and he smelled as bad as one. Still, I was glad he was here. There's strength in numbers, and he needs us to protect him from his brother as much as we need him.

I blurted out, "Compared to your brother, Anansi seemed like a child." The others stared at me. "What? I was raised by my aunt. She was an African woman." Lily asked, "What do you mean was?" I answered grimly, "I was only eight years old when my aunt was murdered. Our house was being robbed and after she was murdered, I got scared and cooked the robber alive. It was after that I ran away and spent the rest of my childhood on the streets. This very house we're in, happens to be my aunt's old home before I was even born. After I was put in her care, my aunt moved into town so I could be raised right." I sat down on the couch, tears starting to fall down my face. "She taught me her African beliefs, but never involved me in the African religion. During my stay with her, she called me Razi and I responded to it ever since. The name stuck with me until she died."
