It's raining. It always seems to be raining when I'm upset. Thunder and lightning and wind and rain seem to be my only friends at times.
I wonder if I should have brought something beside an empty notebook, a pen, a change of clothes, and a flashlight. There's nothing I can think of.
There's a little restaurant by the side of the road. I'll go there and hope no one recognizes me and sends me back to my "home."
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.

Lidz ¬ I'll wait for a boy to POV, but until then ...

"As if, are you mental?" I laugh coldly, feigning well, a what-the-hell attitude.
"Your hands went PURPLE,"
"I have Halloween gloves on!" I screeched. It had began to rain outside. "I'm leaving. Thanks for the water," I push past him quickly and exit. He's still following me. A girl is walking across the car park.
"Hey!" I shout. She jumps, a deer in the headlights expression frozen on her face. "Hey! Do you know this guy?" I ask, gesturing over my shoulder. He stops and stands next to me, grabbing my hand. "Get off!" I snatch my hand back. "I did NOT. STOP. TIME," The girl stares at me, and then quickly regains her composure. A shock runs down my spine.
"Your like me. Both of you. You can control the elements,"

Rain:
His accusation is kind of confusing. There are other people that can control them? "What do you mean?" I ask him as I walk closer. The rain is loud, but I tone it out and listen solely to his reply.
"You two can control the elements, just like I can," he replies.
This is weird. The chances that, even though I've never met another person like me, two would show up in the same place...
"Why do you think that?" I ask him, trying my hardest not to give away the fact that he's right. About me, at least.

I would POV that, but it doesn't sound like Elian.

Elian

Damn rain. I kicked up the dirt as I walked towards the little resteraunt. I noticed a few people standing out in the rain.

I heard someone shout, "Your like me. Both of you. You can control the elements." I froze in my tracks, and listened curiously. Somone else said something in a whisper, and I began to walk closer. They yelled something about stopping time, and a chill passed over me.

"You can stop time?" I walked towards the group. They looked at each other frantically, and no one said anything. "No, it's fine!" They all looked scared, so I tried to assure them, "Look!" I stared at the ground for a moment, and a vine pushed out of the ground and wound up around my hand. Eventually it stopped, and an apple formed in my hand. "Anyone hungry?" I said, attempting to lighten the mood.
Life's just full of questions....stop asking me and go find some hippie on a mountain.

Rain:
Four of us...this is so strange.
"People are listening, you know. Do we want the whole world to hear?" I'm just trying to see if anyone else can control sound. I could have blocked our conversation from the outside world, but what's the fun in that?

Lup Eoliene-Wolf:

Wolf shivered as he glared up at the sky. When the storm had hit Wolf had been forced to quit flying or risk being struck by lightning. Now he was soaking wet and stuck in some city he didn't know the name of. When he'd woken up that morning to find a burn on the hotel wall in the shape of a paw print he'd taken off. Leo's twisted sense of humor at work, his brother had caught up with him. He'd flown off in a random direction from that town.

Manipulating the wind to fly was about the only way Wolf could keep ahead of his brother. Leo was wicked smart and that wierd twin bond of theirs meant that they always knew which direction the other was in. Wolf hitched his pack higher as he walked down the road. Ahead he could see lights coming from one of those road-stops. Sighing in relief Wolf slogged forward, he could finally get a change of clothes and get dry.

As he drew closer he could see people arguing with each other out front. Suddenly one of them reached down and a vine grew out of the earth. Wolf froze, watching the four of them warily. They were talking about controlling the elements, like him and Leo. Curiosity rose to the forefront but Wolfstayed cautious, using air he bent light around him until he was basically invisible to others.

*I was thinking maybe someone could have noticed Wolf nearby and seen him 'vanish'.*

Pssst...you just broke your own rule Birdy. You didn't put the name at the top. Hahaha.

Fira:

"Fira!" Torrey yelled turning away from a group of kids and turning to me.

We were sitting against the wall, the rain soaking through us, but we'd been inside the restaraunt for and hour and a half, and figured any longer would be creepy.

"Quieter Torrey." I said, opening an eyelid to stare at him, then closing it again.

Torrey sighed, then said softly, "Did you hear those guys? They control elements, too."

My eyes snapped open at that and I quickly stood up. Torrey was up in a flash as well and we both went over the the group of four, just in time to see a guy make a vine grow out of the sidewalk.

Torrey's eyes brightened, and he put out his own hand, making ivy leaves start to sprout from the vine. Their eyes shifted towards us, surprised at Torrey, wary at me.

Putting my hands in the air, I said, "Hey, I'd do something, but then I'd have to set something on fire, and well..." I trailed off, looking at the raining sky, then down at my burned arms.

It was silent for a minute. Clearing my throat, I said, "Well, uh, I'm Fira and this is my twin brother Torrey."

Torrey's smile appeared on his face and he said tauntingly, "Feel free to point out how different we look. Especially our height."

Rolling my yes, I put my hand out and pushed him. Torrey hadn't been expecting it, so he fell right into a puddle.

As I laughed, I turned my head and saw some guy vanish into thin air, "Uh..."

I parted from the group and I walked over to the direction of the guy, stepping carefully.

"Hello?" I called, putting my hands infront of me in case I ran into him.

In the diner

I waited for an answer, my curiousity almost getting the best of me. The girl next to me has the power over time, much like myself. I could control time myself, but I only use it when I need to. I dug into my backpack and found a red candle. I said calmly, "Watch this." I snapped my fingers and the candle's wick was lit by a dark violet flame.
The girl gasped at the sight of my power.
I smiled and said, "All call me Ghostfire." I blew out the candle and stashed it away, my curiousity starting to rise. "What's your name?"

Misty:

"Shut up!" I said, throwing a french fry at Skyler.

With a floppy grin, he shoved a handful of cheese fries into his mouth, saying, "I'm serious Misty, you totally look like a fake blonde!"

Rolling my eyes, a tried to pull a fry out of a cheese clump, then countered, "Yeah, 'cause your hair is so natural! Brunette with blonde streaks. Yeah, baby you were born this way!"

Laughter spilled out of his mouth, and he stood up, "I'm going to go get a water, want something?"

"Yeah, apparently I need hair dye, 'cause my hair isn't natural!"

"You know I'm just messing with you." He replied, getting up to go get the water.

As he did so, running into a girl on the way, I watched a group of kids outside. My eyes widened as I saw them demonstrating their powers.

Skyler:

"What do you mean?" She asked me as she walked closer.

"You two can control the elements, just like I can," I replied.

"Why do you think that?" She asked.

"Listen," I said in a hushed voice, "Me and my sister, that girl sitting at the booth with blonde hair, we control elements too."

Just then, MIsty came running up, glanced at the girl, and whispered in my ear, "Those kids out there can control elements."

Smiling, I turned to the girl adn said, "Looks like there's more of us. Come on, let's go outside."

Without waiting for a response, Misty and I headed outside just in time to see a guy with reddish-black hair talking to the air adn two other guys growing a plant.

Misty and I turned and smiled at each other. Discreatly, she used her power of air to push all the water off of the roof. A couple of the kids eyes widened as the water rushed at them, but I pretended to yawn, streaching my arms adn holding the water up, then seperating it and letting it fall in little raindrops.

"Hi." I said to them, "I'm Skyler."

"Misty" my sister said.

Snow

I sighed happily as it started to rain. The morning coolness and rain felt nice on my slightly aching muscles. I had been walking most of that morning and decided that the rain gave me a chance to be able to relax and have a seat somewhere, maybe even grab a drink. Walking a least a mile more, I can upon this little town. Walking in to town I noticed something about a little restaurant, there were people fighting in front of it. Curiosity got the better of me and I started to head over. Suddenly, I saw movement in the corner of my eye. Glanceing over, there was nothing. Strange, I thought to myself, I could have sworn I saw someone.

Shrugging, I then proceeded to listen to this conversation they were having. I manage to catch the words "elements" and "control" in the same sentence. Strange enough, I was curios. Silently, I approach the group.

Lidz [is a girl :smt003 ]
In the diner
(OOC: Lets just say this takes place before we go outside

I watch the canfle flame gutter out.
"My name is Lidz," I hear myself saying.
"Well, Ghostfire ," I say, standing up, "Let's make like time and leave,"
We walk out.

---

Back in the group

"We can all control something," I whisper, shocked, I turn to Ghostfire, grinning, "It's not just us! Look!" I spread my arms across the group. I notice, suddenly, a figure vanishing. Huh? I pause time and rewind it. A boy. Standing... there. I mentally note the place and play time again.
"Two seconds," I say to the group, walking over to the spot. Another girl has noticed too, staring at the spot.
I send my fist forward, not hard, but not soft. Enough to make someone gasp or cough. The invisble perosn in front of me spluttered. I laugh, but not nastily.
"I can see you," I smile warmly.

Outside with the group

Lidz was excited when she saw others, but I wasn't. I hardly spoke to any person in the past ten years, hence my other nickname Muta. I went in my backpack, dug out an umbrella and candleabra, and clicked my tongue to set the candles alight. I was very used to my power over fire, so I was a master at such power. I had nothing to say to the other people. Although I am one of them- Elementals as my aunt called us before her passing- and I should be happy, I wouldn't trust anyone with my power over time. I just stood there, waiting for anyone to notice me and possibly talk to me.

Lup Eoliene-Wolf:

Wolf dropped the light-shield and glanced around the group. There were quite a few of us elementals. But the world was a big place. What were the odds they would all show up in the same city at the same time? "Come to think of it, I still don't know where I am." Wolf thought with amusement. Still it was pretty suspicious.

Glancing around the group he watched quite a few of them shiver and glance away from his pale golden eyes. Wolf knew his stare was discomfiting, so it didn't bother him. He gave the others a lopsided grin as he introduced himself. "The name's Wolf."
