Lup Eoliene- Wolf:

Wolf stayed back in the shadows, never taking his eyes off of Arthur's father. His wound still hurt but he was ready to fight if it came to that. Seshat, he couldn't think of her as his mother not yet, stepped forward to face him. She glared coldly at him. "As you can see he's no longer here." Seshat snapped. "Why don't you go torment someone else now?"

The girls seemed to have joined her in trying to force the man into leaving. Not a smart move. This guy was a powder keg just waiting to be lit. One wrong move and he would go off. He wasn't the kind of person you could reason with. So Wolf didn't bother trying. Instead he watched and waited silently for the perfect moment to strike.

Leu de Ardere- Leo:

Leo strapped on the last knife and picked up his sword. Bullets were pretty much useless against elementals of all kinds so guns were out. His blades on the other hand had been forged from his own elemental flames. And they carried with them a remnant of that fire. Enough that Leo could make sure they wouldn't break.

"I'm surprised at you Leo." Aly leaned against the wall as Leo suited up in body armor. "You have the profile of a classic serial killer. I never thought you'd be attached to anyone."

Snorting in derision Leo turned to meet her eyes. "It's more complicated then that. My brother has always been there, from the moment I was born. My mind never made the cognitive leap to being my own individual. I have no self-identity, my whole being is bound with Wolf. Mark my words I'm going to get him back."

As he started to leave the room Aly called after his retreating back. "If you're that determined let me give you a piece of advice. You should be more careful how you handle Wolf's friends. It's a whole lot easier for love to curdle into hate, then to fade into cold indifference. Both bind you tightly after all."

*Leo won't be showing up for awhile I just wanted to check in with a post for him.*

I felt like I wanted to stand up and fight with the Circle, but if it was against my father I would be blowing out the flame of life that burned inside me. I could hear the others and Seshat joining forces to make my father leave. Suddenly I remembered that he threatened to shoot anybody if Seshat didn't give me up. I decided to pull off the same trick I did when I was ten. Concentrating my ghostfire, I created a bird from outside the house. Keeping my silence and holding the shape together, I told Seshat, I need your fire power to wed with my ghostfire. If there's anything that my father can't stand, it's birds. He's scared to death of birds.
Seshat said happily, You really are your mother's boy, Razi. I haven't done that trick since I was three weeks pregnant. You know what you're doing?
I said slyly, I haven't done this since I was ten, but I remember how I did it. I just need some additional power.
Seshat said, Ask and you shall receive.
I kept the shape together and felt Seshat's flames wed with my ghostfire.

Eve:
I glanced out the window and saw a bird made out of fire. I pulled the humidity in the outside air into clumps that looked somewhat like birds. A few tweaks later, they looked like pretty believable birds. I nudged Rain surreptisiously and glanced out the window. I didn't know why we were making birds, but I was going to help in any way I could.
The man did look somewhat like Arthur. Like angry Arthur. He was yelling in Seshat's face, none too cleanly, either. But angry Arthur was still different somehow. Nicer. This man looked like he'd had a lot of practice being angry.

Lidz ¬

"Give up, or I'll shoot all of you," I blinked rapidly, but I felt strangley calm, but I remembered the day I'd heard that said, when I was young.

***

I was sitting in a chair, the ropes burning my hands and legs with every movement. Our Mayor walked in, clicked his fingers, and the guards behind me grabbed my arms and legs, loosened the bonds and dragged me kicking and screaming to the town's river. I'd been 8, and realised what they were about to do, I kicked and bit and screamed, but they carried on relentlessly. They dropped me on my knees, and shoved my face into the water.

***

The whole group was silent. The man yelled again:
"Tell me,"

***

My lungs filled with icy cold water. I choked and gasped, sucking in more water. They grabbed a handful of my hair and pulled me up. I gasped, gulping air. Then they forced my head in again.
"Give up," The Mayor said icily, "We want to know, do you have it?"
"No!" I yelled.
My head was pushed back into the water again, and as it was pulled up, the Mayor said:
"Give up, or I'll shoot you,"
I lifted my chin suddenly, and the gun fired.

***

"He's not here," I said, glaring at his Father, "He's long gone, you missed him by ages,"

"He's not here," Lidz said, "He's long gone, you missed him by ages." The man didn't believe her. The crowd of birds outside was getting bigger and bigger. Real birds were beginning to gather around, curious of their look-a-likes.

I felt like I was getting weaker as I kept the fire bird burning. I could barely stand on my feet as my strength started to diminish. My feet could hardly hold me, my head weighing heavy. I knew I should hold still, but I couldn't. Without warning, I collapsed with a thud.
My father's voice said, "I knew it. You're hiding him. Give him up, voodoo woman. He has to go."
Seshat yelled, "You get out of my house, you filthy scum! You are no father of his! He belongs to those who love him! His mother would've raised him if you didn't take him from his cradle and shoot her in front of the baby! Get out of my house!"
My father stormed through the door and swore he will end me for ruining his life.
Seshat opened the closet and lifted me. "Razi. Razi, can you hear me?"
I couldn't move. I was too tired to even speak. I needed to recover my strength.

Lidz¬ (OOC: I bet no one expected this... xD)

"Razi. Razi, can you hear me?"
I was worried about Arthur, but not as worried about that than the muzzle of the gun protruding from the window ledge an-
BANG!
The shot shattered the air like glass, and I screamed. Memories flashed through my mind. I could see blood. On my hands, my shoulder my neck. The Mayor- The Mayor-
I screamed again, and my scream mingled with someone elses. My fear was controlling my element- the light flickered on and off, time froze itself and played itself angain and again, and I couldn't stop screaming. Conforting hands held my shoulders, worry evident across so many faces, but all I could do was scream. I heard a man scream- a low, throaty scream, and a flapping of wings. I cried out:
"Please! Don't! I'm only eight!" I clutched my shoulder, seeing red. Red. Red.
Black.
Black and White.
It was hair.
Oh, God.
Reality came back, and out of shock I wrapped my arms around Wolf and cried. Tears streamed down my cheeks as he whispered. I wiped them from my eyes and whispered:
"I'm so sorry," I thumped down on the floor and crossed my knees. "It ... I think ... well," I gave up and sighed. I rolled up my sleeve and pushed it down from my neck, exposing the red scar on my shoulder.
"When I was eight, and at my town, they thought I'd stolen something. They knew I was an Elemental. They tied my to a chair and told me to give it back. I was eight, and didn't know what was going on. I told them, but they carried me to the river and-" I stopped and gulped, "They pushed my head into the water, and threatened to drown me," Eve and Rain winced, Seshat carried on tending Arthur, and Wolf was ... Wolf, I felt a strong feeling towards him suddenly, and I wanted to hug him again, and not finish the story, "When I told them I didn't know, The Mayor pulled out his gun and said: "Give up, or I'll shoot you," and he... he did. Before he shot me, the two boys that had carried me grabbed my arms to stop me moving.
The bullet went through my shoulder and hit the man behind me. It went through his heart, he screamed once, and then he died. The Mayor threw me in the river, but the other boy followed me, and pulled me out. He pressed something into my hand, and wrapped my shoulder up. He gave me this," I pulled the rope around my neck and pulled up the key, careful not to touch it. "I heard them say it would open the door to the weapon which could kill an Elemental. I learned that mortal weapons can't harm us, can they Seshat?"
She nodded once, and grunted.
"The Gun Arthur's Dad had contained a special chemical from the same weapon. I'm worried that they've joined forces."
"So why did you freak out?" Eve asked,
"It played out like the day I was shot. The flapping of birds wings, a gun shot, the mans scream," I shook my head, "It scared me," I admitted. Wolf caught my eye, and deep down, I thought: Just hug me. Show that you care.

Spoiler
OK, yeah, slightly confusing. She kind of went into shock- the man's scream, the gun shot, it triggered that memory again in all it's glory. She freaked out. Oh, and you know Arthur's Dad shot the gun? No one got hit, and he screamed and ran off because he noticed the bird. Does that make sense?

The Astral Crossroads

Many creatures called me, but none spoke the name I could respond to. I was somewhere that looked like a valley of some sort. I saw a woman as black as night, dressed as a voodoo priestess. I asked curiously, "Mom?"
The woman nodded and said, "Yes, my son. This is where I show you what could mean the death of us Elementals."
I asked, "There's something that can kill us?"
Mom answered, "It's a powerful weapon that my family has been struggling to destroy for centuries, but so far have failed. The only way to destroy the weapon is to use the elements that created it."
I got too curious. "What are the elements that made this weapon?"
"Earth, fire, water, wind, heat, and sound. Time is the only element that seems to give it strength. Remember that, my son. Keep that in mind."
I had one last question before leaving. "Didn't you try to give me a name before my father stole me from you?"
Mom smiled at me. "Everyone's been calling you by your given name. You responded to it every time."

*That weapon is going to be a problem, cause as far as I know. Leo is the only one with the Heat element.*

Lup Eoliene- Wolf:

Wolf held Lidz tightly. He couldn't find the words to make her fear go away, all he could do was hold onto her and not let her go. Arthur was unconscious they'd dragged him out of the closet but he wasn't waking up.

Lidz¬ Uh Oh. I don't reckon Leo's gonna like that. xD

I buried myself in Wolf's arms for a while, feeling a tingling sensation where his skin touched mine. I rested my cheek on his chest, hearing his heartbeat, feeling mine match his. I twined my fingers through his. I wanted to stay in this moment for ever, but Arthur gave a moan and shuddered. Beads of sweat lined up upon his forehead, and he gasped. His face was begining to go pale. I reluctantly pulled out of Wolf's arms, and turned to Seshat. I kept my fingers interlocked with Wolf's, it made me feel safe.
"What do we do?"
"We need to get him out of the Astral Crossroads- that's where he is,"
"What?" Eve asked.
"It's like Limbo- half way inbetween, two paths, one to reality, one to somewhere we can't let him go, that's why it's called a crossroad. If he stays, he'll go mad, with longing to return to the real world, and mad with the things he sees. We need to get him out, and there's only one way to do it. Follow me- we need to hurry." She picked up Arthur with ease, and we followed her. She led us into the Medical room- it was stuffed with herbs and other ingrediants. She laid Arthur on the bed, pulling leaves from the shelves, muttering under her breath, sprinkling them over him. I peered at the herb closest to me- a purple flower with red spots, and dark green leaves. It smelled spicy and fragrant. I looked closer, but I hit a mental barrier- and words poured into my head.
GeT OuT! IT's YoUr FaUlt! AlL YoUrs! It's TiME! TIME!!!!
I jerked back into Wolf. I pushed my body into him and layed my head on his chest again. I shuddered. The words echoed in my head. But I was filled with something else. Yearning. Longing.
"What's the matter?" Wolf's lips were close to my ear, his breath tickled my neck.
You. I want to be yours. "Nothing, I'm fine," I smiled. "Are you OK? Do you think Arthur will be? Or do you think he'll give up?"
"What makes you think that?"
"I upset him. That's why he was in the forest," I felt my cheeks go red.

The Astral Crossroads

The animals around me tried to climb on top of me, but I shooed them away the best I could. I said, "I have to go back."
A snake wrapped itself around my ankles and hissed, "You can never leave, boy. Ssssstay here. Become one of usssss."
I protested, "I have others waiting for me. I have to go back."
The snake hissed, "You're not leaving, boy. You belong to usssss now."
I screamed, "Get me out of here! Somebody get me out of here!"

Eve:
I stared through the doorway into the medicine room where Seshat was trying to bring Arthur back. Please be okay, please be okay, I thought. I hadn't felt this helpless since I lost my memory. Warm tears filled my eyes and I angrily brushed them away.
Do you think Arthur will be? Or do you think he'll give up?" Lidz asked Wolf.
"What makes you think that?" he asked.
"I upset him. That's why he was in the forest," she said, her cheeks going red. I'd suspected that Arthur had a crush on Lidz. And it was quite obvious that she had a crush on Wolf. He was pretty devastated when I saw him in the woods. But would he give up, just because of that? I shuddered at the thought. No. Arthur did some pretty crazy things, like running off into the woods and getting himself captured. Twice. But if there was one thing I knew about Arthur, it was that he didn't give up. Ever.
"Fireboy," I whispered so that only I could hear it, "That was funny." I remembered the look on his face when I said that. I remembered when he'd set everything on fire and I'd thought he was crazy. But everyone was crazy, in there own way. Arthur was just crazy in a crazy way. I smiled at the memory and sighed.
But if Arthur loved Lidz...
That meant nothing. I didn't like Arthur. I DIDN'T love Arthur," I think. Maybe if I think it enough times, I'll believe it.

(OOC: I love Eve as a character. I love her. Aww. She's like my little sister. xD)

Lidz¬

I felt safe, curled up in Wolf's arms. I watched Seshat work around Arthur. No one said a word- there was an aura about her work that screamed: "Do not disturb,". Noise sounded foreign in such a sacred place. Arthur began to splutter and cough, his eyes blinked open wearily. Eve jumped as his cries and jumped forward. I held out my arm as a barrier, pressing a finger to my lips.
"Seshat isn't finished yet," I mouthed. She nodded, and I realised she was crying. She cared so much for Arthur, even if she didn't want to believe it. I smiled. Wolf hadn't spoken or acknowledge me in his arms for a while, and I slumped slightly. Did he not want me there? Was I being too forward? I stepped out of his arms reluctantly, fearing that well, maybe he didn't want me there in the first place. But what if, when I wanted so much more than just a hug from him, he didn't even want that?
I buried my face in my hands. I felt like cursing Leo. Why had I fallen in love with a boy that couldn't love- or was to hesitant to? Arthur stirred again, and I let Eve run to his side. I smiled. At least Arthur and Eve had each other.

OOC: sylverdawn? I don't want to sound nasty but... have you lost intterest in this? Or is it just writer's block? I'll add in this so you can POV::::

Suddenly, Wolf moaned and clutched his head.
"What is it? Wolf? Wolf!" He dropped to his knees. "Wolf!" I knelt down next to him. I placed my hand on his cheek. He was buring up, sweating like he had a fever of some sort. "WOLF?!" I cried, tears stung my eyes at seeing him in such a state.

The Astral Crossroads

*OOC: Playtime in the AC's over.*

The snake had its friends all over me, trying to hold me down. No matter how many times I pleaded, the snakes refused to let me go. Mom ordered them to release me, but they ignored her. A man's voice commanded, "Release the boy!"
The serpents let me free, their human-like faces depressed. I stood up and saw a black man dressed as what looked like a voodoo king. I said, "Thank you. I don't want to be stuck here forever."
The man smiled and said, "I know, my boy. You've said many times that there are others who need you. If you stay here, then they will die without your protection. They need a half-black to protect them. Seshat asked me to bring you back, so I must give her what she wants."
I asked, "Who are you?"
"Eshu, guardian of the Astral Crossroads."
I almost jumped. Feeling relieved, I decided to ask of the weapon. "What are the needed elements to destroy the bane of Elemental existance?"
Eshu smiled at me. "Fire, water, earth, wind, sound, and time. Heat is what makes it strong. The only way to unlock it is a key. Once it is unlocked, you and your friends must destroy the weapon. Even your kind are humans." He pushed me backwards and the next thing I knew, I was staring at Eve in the eye.

Spoiler
*OOC: I had to do a little research on Eshu before bringing him up. I got research to back me up.
