*OOC: Ya want it, ya got it.*

I glared at Leo as the black flames blocked him and his gang from me and the rest of the Circle. The ghostfire got loose and wed with Leo's fire. I walked to the flame and entered the inferno unsinged. Leo growled, "You're no good to them, Fireboy. You keep running on your own and getting yourself in trouble."
I said calmly, "At least you're not the one hiding from your father who considers you as a one-man freak show. I understand you want Wolf to live, but I'm afraid only Seshat has the solution. If you're that desperate, let me take Wolf to Seshat so she can fix him."
Leo blinked and said, "He speaks."
I rolled my eyes and put Wolf over my shoulder. Despite Leo's growling, I tread through the flames and joined the rest of the Circle. I gathered the others and froze time at will. I said, "Let's get out of here. We got five minutes at best before it's my turn to pass out." We all ran as fast as we could. We only managed out of the building and into an alley five blocks away when time ran its course again and I collapsed on the ground.

Arthur collapsed from exhaustion just as we got to the edge of the forest. I knelt down besides Wolf and tried to force him awake.
"Wolf ... please!," I whispered, shaking his shoulders, "Please..." he stirred, but that was about it. mixtures of angry and sad tears dripped down my face as I watched.
Arthur woke about five minuites later, urging us up.
"Why?" I snapped, from the same position I'd been five minuites ago- by Wolf.
"We need to take him to Seshat," He said, and he pulled me to my feet.

I led the Circle through the woods, keeping my silence as we took many twists and turns in the maze of thorns and branches. Once we made it to a clearing, there was a cottage smack in the middle. Standing at the porch was a white woman. I asked, "Seshat, I assume?"
She nodded, but crossed her arms against her bosom and glared at me. She said, "I was expecting you with both the twins, not just the eldest."
I said calmly, "I know, but this one needs help." I showed the pendant. "You know whose this is."
Seshat's face softened. "Jeremy. I forgot, he sent you."
I asked, "What about Wolf? Can you help him?"
Seshat answered, "I gave the right treatment for his wound. Come inside, my young brothers and sisters. I have Bastet's stew at ready."
We had to carry Wolf inside Seshat's house before we ate dinner. I asked Seshat, "What's the unusual gift that my uncle tried to tell me about?"
Seshat answered, "I was born telepathic, the foremost reason my father disowned me. I read minds and speak distances with telepathy. The twins share a trace of my telepathic gift, but only between them. I can't read their minds, but I can read yours." She looked at me with her feral green eyes. "The one called Lidz. You have feelings for that one. I suggest you just get up to her and kiss her lips while she's up and awake."
Look down and show some mercy if you can.

OOC: I'm sorry (if this seems offensive in anyway) but that POV made me laugh. Just the abruptness of Seshat. She is now one of my favourite non-real POV characters. I'll let YOU do the kiss scene, go with it however you want, I don't mind, and if you want, we could make it a love triangle; Wolf, Lidz and Arthur, if that's OK. But I will decide who she picks in all due time... hehehe. :smt003 :smt002

Lidz ¬

I left Arthur to chat with Seshat (OOC: It rhymes! xD) and found a small seat to curl up on. I soon drifted into a restless sleep.

I blushed when Seshat told me what was on my mind. I looked at Lidz, who was sleeping on a chair. I decided to just go with what Seshat had in mind. I asked, "What do you propose I do?"
Seshat answered, "Just get up to her and kiss her. Now if you excuse me, I have a wound to treat. Go get her, Razi."
I walked to a sleeping Lidz and held her close to my chest. She stirred a little, but before she managed to open her eyes I pressed my lips against hers. I felt like I was burning, but it wasn't the ghostfire building up inside me. I was burning from deep inside my soul, my mind clearing itself from anything but Lidz. I wanted her, but the question was does she want me as well. I held her close in my arms, my eyes gently shut as our lips remained locked together.

xD LOL!

Lidz¬

When our lips parted, and Arthur held me carefully- gingerly- almost, I was still half asleep. I shook my head and rubbed my eyes.
"Wha-?" I asked, yawning. He smirked nicely, staring at me as if I'd just fallen from heaven- something to be treasured.
If only Wolf looked at me like this.
Wolf.
Guilt tore at my insides, and I jumped away from him.
"I ... I got to go,"
I backed off and turned around. I pounded up the first flight of stairs I saw, and found a small door. I pushed it open and climbed another flight of stairs which ended in a small attic. It was suprisingly clean, full of boxes all labled neatly. I tucked myself between two boxes and put my head in my hands.
It had never once crossed my mind that Arthur would have feelings for me, but I didn't know for sure that Wolf did either. If I had to be honest with myself, I found myself swaying towards-
I pushed my hands into my eyes to stop the tears flowing. Wolf had never tried to kiss me- did that mean he didn't like me? Or was Arthur just more confident? I pulled up my knees, crossed my arms over them and buried my face into my crossed arms. Could I just ask Wolf? He might lie, he might be emmbarrassed...
I gave a little moan of frustration.
Why did everything have to be so complicated? I needed fresh air, I needed to think ...
I found a small window in the furthest corner of the attic and climbed out of it, slithering down the gutter. I looked behind me and walked briskly into the forest surrounding the cottage.
Could I run away?
But I knew then, that my problems would just follow me.

The trees swallowed me, and I was left alone in the forest, alone with my thoughts.

When I retured, it was nearly dark. I peered through the lounge window, watching Wolf walk around, talking to Seshat. Arthur was no where to be seen. I wondered briefly what Seshat and Wolf were talking about, before climbing back up the gutter and entering the attic again. I walked down the flight of stairs, into the lounge.
"Seshat, ma'am?" I asked, shyly, "Do you mind if I speak to Wolf?"
"Certainly," And she went.
I faced Wolf and asked him.

Lup Eoliene- Wolf

When Lidz asked him if he liked her, like her romantically, Wolf turned bright red. "It's not that I don't, because I do like you like that Lidz." Wolf flushed feeling tounge tied. "It's just I've never had a girlfriend before and I've only kissed a girl once or twice."

Lidz stared at him in surprise and bafflement. "Why not? You're almost eighteen and a good looking guy." She blushed at her honesty.

Wolf groaned. "It's because of Leo. Most of my problems are because of my brother. By the time we were teenagers and old enough for that kind of interest, Leo was pretty far gone. I spent most of my time looking out for him. And with our family moving from city to city every month there was never any time to meet girls anyway."

Understanding lit Lidz eyes. "You had to grow up."

"I did." Wolf agreed, but then he looked shyly over at LIdz. "But maybe those reasons no longer exist."

The blaze in my chest blew out as I saw Lidz with Wolf. I wanted her first, but seeing that someone else took her from me has left me cold. I sulked outside and climbed up a tree, tears pouring down my face as I sat there on the branch. That one moment of happiness of which was once robbed from me since I was eight, gone out like a candle's flame in the wind. My very heart was a pure flame that I kept burning for ten years, but now the flame went out the second I saw Lidz with someone else. My flaming heart, out like a candle's flame.
I climbed down the tree and walked deep into the woods. I found another clearing and sat lotus-style in the middle of the clearing. I loosed my ghostfire in six rings, keeping myself away from the Circle and vice versa. If Lidz can't have me and vice versa, then no one should have me as a lover.

*OOC: This might be a good time for the others to find Arthur and maybe calm him down.*

Eve:
Rain and I had found some spare rooms and had slept until it was dark. When I woke up, I did a people check. Everyone's body water felt different, and I checked them off as I sensed each of them. Rain, still asleep, Wolf, Lidz, a strange one that was probably Seshat... Where was Arthur. I tried to sense farther, but my radius was pretty small, about the size of this house.
I came down the stares. Wolf and Lidz were staring at each other in a weird way.
"Where's Arthur?" I asked. They just stared at me like I was speaking gibberish. I sighed and pushed past them outside.
"Arthur!" I called, "Arthur!" I picked a random direction and ran into the woods.
I saw the rings of fire and felt my stomach twist. I knew they were Arthur's, but I still didn't like them. They set my teeth on edge. I came closer, slowing my pace. He was sitting in the middle of the clearing. I could feel wetness running down his face.
"Arthur!" I called, relieved. As he glanced at me, one of the fire rings came pretty close to me. It was about a foot away and moving slowly, but I still freaked out.
"Call it off, Arthur," I squeeled. Arthur smirked darkly and moved it away. He looked away as he did so.
"Arthur," I repeated, and sat by him.
"Leave me alone," he said.
"Come on, Arthur. What's up?" I said. He murmured something about his heart and a candle.
"You don't have to tell me, Arthur," I said, "But I'm here for you." I put my arm over his shoulder. His touch didn't feel as uncomfortable as it had when he was mad. It felt kind of nice, like warm water.
He glanced at me and sighed.

Eve had her arm over my shoulder, almost like she wanted me. It didn't feel right. I wanted Lidz, who went for Wolf instead of me. I couldn't feel that flame I experienced when I had Lidz's lips locked with mine. Eve said she was here for me. That was a little comforting, but not enough to heal my heart. How could someone as young as Eve want a person who spent ten years of his life on the run?
Seshat's voice said, You've been looking in the wrong places, Razi. Can't you see? If Lidz wants Wolf over you, then take Eve to replace Lidz. Surely Eve's the true love you've been searching for all this time.
I snapped, Eve's not like us. You and I are Fire Elementals; Eve's a Water Elemental. Fire and Water don't mix.
Seshat appeared, picked up a handful of ashes, and said, "That never stopped me from marrying a Wind Elemental." She set the ashes alight with a black flame. Keeping the fire burning in one hand, she put my own hand in the black sphere of flame. It didn't scorch me, but kissed my hand like it was trying to wed with me. "Because you're family, my flame can't hurt you. Because they are our Elemental siblings, my power can't harm them either. However, I think you better run."
I raised a brow.
"Your father knows you're still alive. He's out on the loose to kill you."
I gasped. Ten years of running and hiding declared me dead to my father, but now that he knows I'm not dead at all I was about to be as dead as roadkill on the streets.

I smiled at Wolf. I gave him a quick hug, before Seshat walked in briskly. She didn't so much as glance at us, but she opened the door and hurried out.
"Follow me," Her voice resonated in my head, and Wolf looked at me strangley.
"Come on, she wants us to follow," I grabbed his hand and tugged him out. She walked up to the flames of fire, passing through them with ease. I backed away from them slowly, remebering my last encounter with fire. Eve had her arms wrapped around Athur, his face was wet. I suddenly felt really bad, all the way to the core. But seeing Eve and Arthur looked so ... right.
"Seshat," I thought, "If you can hear me, tell them they are perfect for each other,"
"That never stopped me from marrying a Wind Elemental. Because you're family, my flame can't hurt you. Because they are our Elemental siblings, my power can't harm them either. However, I think you better run."
Arthur raised a brow.
"Your father knows you're still alive. He's out on the loose to kill you."
I gasped.

I got on my feet and was about to run when Seshat grabbed the back of my shirt. I said timidly, "I have to leave right now."
Seshat snapped, "Get outside the woods and you'll be dead in a heartbeat. Your father won't hesitate to shoot you in the head. You have to hide in my stead." She dragged me back to her house, then hid me in a closet. "Don't say a word or come out unless I tell you to."
The others in the Circle started to protest on hiding me away. Lidz and Eve protested the most, but Seshat silenced the Circle with a stern stomp of her foot.
I waited for Seshat to tell me to come out, keeping my silence and sitting lotus-style on the floor.

Rain:
I wake up as everyone is going crazy about Arthur's father or something. I condense water from the air and let it fall on my face. The last traces of sleep recoil at contact and I spring up and out the door. I run silently on my toes and join everyone else. My hair is messed up and I'm soaking wet, but no one seems to give me a second glance. Seshat was closing a closet door, hiding Arthur from sight. I took a deep breath and tried to focus on all the words flying around me. They replayed themselves for me, and I started to understand. Words aren't enough to allow me understanding.
I trust Eve. She's a water elemental. I direct my words into her ears. "What is going on? Why didn't you wake me up? What is everybody freaking out about?"
Before my words reach her, I still the sound waves. I block all sound from reaching me and drop my head, squint my eyes. I can feel eyes starting to focus on me. I probably look really mental right now. But I don't care. I don't want to waste my energy on caring.
Far from the door, about a mile, one person's feet are striking the pavement. Heavy echoing footsteps. Someone is running toward the house. I twist the soundwaves and carry them into this room. Everyone goes silent. The footsteps are getting closer. I kill the sound, let is fall back into it's natural place.
"Whoever it is is less than a mile away." I let my words ring with a degree of certainty that masks the confusion I'm really feeling. "You have about five minutes to explain what's going on."
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.

Lidz¬ OOC: Does anyone else see Seshat as African? Just asking, 'cos that's how I image her accent and looks.

"Arthur's father is here... here to kill him,"
"What?" Rain gasps, staring at the closet in which Arthur's hiding.
"I d-don't know, exactly," I look at Seshat expectantly. "I think it's something to do with his power... and being the colour he is ...?"
"Arthur's father thought Arthur was dead. Now he realises he isn't, he will kill him,"
"Why?" Eve asks, shock, fear and worry all evident across her face and in her eyes. I remebered how content she looked with Arthur.

I heard Seshat say, "Razi's father didn't know the boy was born of a black mother. By the time Razi was a week old, his father stole him from his cradle and attempted to drown him. To this day, Razi's father has had burns on his arms."
Eve asked, "How did that happen?"
Seshat answered, "Let's just say the child's a early bloomer."
Heavy footsteps reached the door and a deep voice howled, "Where is he, you white Voodoo witch? Where is that little demon? Give him up."
I shivered. My father found Seshat's house and is no doubt ready to kill anyone who gets in his way.
Seshat snapped, "You stole him from his mother and nearly killed him! You don't deserve to be his father, Thomastien. You hated him the minute you knew he was born. You tried to kill him!"
My father cocked a gun and growled, "Give him up or I'll shoot you. I'll shoot all of you."
