Vi:

The boy with the white hair said it'd "be okay", sure that's what any sensible person would think, and now they all probablly had noticed my freaking out and thought I was a baby. "I have to get myself together." I told myself just as the boy turned around to shoot a guard coming our way. Before I could worry about him and even consider what my next move was I was grabbed by the dark haired boy. We had jumped and landed onto the lower floor. We were safe, somewhat. We'd escaped from the guard. But, the boy with the white hair, the one who'd promised it'd be okay, he was captured.
We all looked at each other, there's no way we could go back up and save the light haired boy. "What now?" I whispered as quietly as I could. I knew it was time we get moving unless we wanted to get caught too.

(OOC: I'm going to be gone most of today too! wow alot of us are going to be gone. If u need have Vi do anything that's okay, just make her stay in character, thanks)

*Also gonna be gone for a day or so, that only leaves one person in a our current group up and running. The heck? Is it contagious?*

Judd Snow:

Judd shivered at the thought one of them had been caught. The big men in charge did not take kindly to attempted escapes. He knew that all to well. Groaning he raked his hands through his hair, racking his brain for an idea. He had no clue what they would do in the long term but Judd found he knew how to stop their current pursuers.

Cupping his hand upward Judd concentrated, forming a a ball of blue-white lightning. The dark shaft lit up as the electricity danced in his hand. Above he heard someone shout orders to follow them down the shaft. "Now we can't have that happening." Judd thought.

He shot the lightning bold upward hitting the small control box above that controlled this vertical shafts doors. The machine exploded as it overloaded, sparks cascading downward. Judd grinned as the doors to the lower shaft swung shut as well. Cutting off pursuit. At least, this time.

Storm:
The alarms are going off two floors up. I should be waiting for the guards to come and fetch me from this room, but I don't really want to sit quietly. Using the knife I strapped to my forearm earlier this morning, (as I do every day,) I pry open the tile that leads to the passage under the floorboards. It's small and most people couldn't even hope to crawl through it, but I'm small.
Taking care to tie the knife back on my arm right and slide the tile back in the right place, I start to crawl through the tunnel. It's not comfortable, but I can't even hope for better. I don't know why it's here in the first place, but it is, so I'm not going to waste all the time before they discover I'm missing questioning it.
I don't know where it leads, because the guards were too close when I found it. This is the first time I've been in this room since then, and the perfect time to find out.
I shut out all thoughts except for "escape" and "crawl." No time to waste.
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.

(later)

I don't know how much time has passed, but light is filtering through a loose tile overhead. There are footsteps, but they sound like they're on the floor above, so there's no need to worry. I'm out of range of their standard technology, and I haven't gotten into any "trouble," so I won't be target practice any time soon.
Anyways, I need to focus on knocking the tile out of the way right now. I don't know what's on top of it, and it might be sealed over. The tunnel is wide enough at this point that I can use my knife to poke at the area around the tile.
I guess I should stop wasting time and just try to move the tile though. I leave my knife in my left sleeve and shift the tile out of the way, nearly effortlessly.
Pulling myself up out of the tunnel, I look around out of instinct, before realizing that that sense is useless to me. I can taste a trace of some type of metal...weapons? Maybe. I have to get closer.
Still crawling, I'm careful where I place my hands and knees. I need to be silent, in case there are guards. I need to be close enough to see anything on the ground, and despite the fact that it will still be blurry, I need to use my failing eyes to sense what may be here.
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.

(OOC: Sorry I haven't posted I've been away from this all - ready to get into this now though :) )

Helena:

"Please stop," I was crying I couldn't help it. "Please," I begged. The guy just carried on with his rape, not talking, not making a sound at all which was the worst thing. It was like he was dead.

"Please..." I said again tears streaming down my face. I should be used to it, I should be but I wasn't. The contraception they were testing this time was a new version of the coil. I prayed to God it worked I didn't want to be pregnant again by rape. "Why are you doing this?" I said trying a different tack, he ignored me.

Suddenly the alarm exploded into action. What was going on? Were some people trying to escape? Would this be my chance to escape with them? The man sat bolt upright, stood and pulled his trousers on. He didn't even look at me, as though he couldn't face what he had done. I pulled the white jumpsuit back on and sat up. "Whats going on?" I asked but he acted as though I wasn't there. He muttered briefly into a headset and ran out of the room. I slumped back down on the wrought iron bed thinking. Something was bothering me, though I couldn't work out what. Then it hit me sudden realization.
In the guards haste he had forgotten to lock the door.

I glanced quickly at the two way observation mirror. I couldn't see what was behind it but I would have to hope that the observers behind it had moved at the sound of the alarm. I moved hastily to the door glanced left and right and ran down the corridor towards the stairs. My legs buckled from exhaustion and I collapsed but I pushed myself up with determination and carried on. I was getting free this time. I was going to escape!
Thinking about what you COULD achieve will get you no where. You've got to chase your dreams.

"To which wing are you bringing me?" I asked Dr. Glentz curious. He ignored me and kept walking so I asked him again and again. And again.
"The wing where they test new weapons."
Dr. Glentz sounded really annoyed and started walking a little faster. New weapons? Okay, now that was something to worry about. I cleared my throat and stopped.
Dr. Glentz turned around and looked at me impatiently. He didn't really seem like the person you could reason with, but I didn't want to die this soon either.
"Can't you just test other sorts of drugs on me?"
I gave him my sweetest smile and at the same moment I knew it wasn't going to work.
"Orders are orders. Dr. Kseiz obviously doesn't want you in his wing anymore."
Not good. Not good at all.
I suddenly regretted not respecting Dr. Kseiz. I took a deep breath and tried to come up with a genius plan but my brain let me down.
"Can't you just please bring me somewhere else? Don't you think I'm useless as a test subject for new weapons when I have no experience with guns or fighting at all?"
I thought it made sense but Dr. Glentz just kept on walking and pulled me along.
And that's when the alarms were going off.

Vi:

"Woah!" I said while taking a step back.
What had just happened?! I asked myself, one of the boys had just shot out some sort of lightning thing from his hand, saving us from the oncoming guard. I'd heard about people with these types of wierd skills, but I'd never really seen it in action. That type of testing was generally done in a different wing of GloboCorp away from where my testing went on. I was used for testing new weapons, safety gear, and some mechanical stuff. This guy could potentially be a very dangerous enemy I thought, But atleast for now he was on our side.

I think I'm a floor above where I was. I can hear clattering from the vents, but it sounds like it's far away. Some girl screaming like a baby, close to the same place. I don't see anyone else in this hall, but the sounds of screams and gunfire drift down from weapons testing, and sobs come from what I assume must be . I must be near the intersection.
Footsteps down the hall that intersects where I am. A girl's voice that goes up at the end like a question, answered by a guy's voice. I don't think it was the answer she wanted because she started pleading, it sounded like. The voices got nearer and nearer.
I doubt they can be trusted. I hide against the wall, praying that they can't see me. When they appear, I can sort of see that the guy is dragging the girl. I pull my knife out, quickly, and walk behind them, trying to decide what to do. My own freedom is more important than hers. Then I realize that her freedom is more important to her. Both must be almost equal.
I curse the name of logic and philosophy! But right now I'll just have to save her. From the look of his clothes, he's a doctor. Good. He probably doesn't have a weapon. I kick his knees out from behind him and shove his head down to the floor. He is weak, already unconscious. That means I can't ask him any questions. At least I don't need my knife.
The girl is a prisoner, a test subject, just like me. She has dark hair, tan skin. "Wanna get out?" I say."I'm Storm."
"Xia," she replies.
Without another word, I start walking, not even looking to see if she follows.

I felt along the inside of the small hole we were presently trapped in. Above us, I heard bolts of energy pinging off the door the little lighting freak had closed above us. Then, my fingers found it. The smallish crack in the wall that was a maintenance door. I tried, unsuccessfully, to pull it open. Eh. when all else fails. I pumped two blasts of plasma into it and reached through the hole and wrenched it open.

"Alrght, folks, we gotta go down two floors. Once we've gotten all of our weapons and such, we'll head to the detention level and save your little friend. Until that time..."

I pulled the third pistol off my chest and handed it to her.

"Just point and click. Oh, and brace for a little bit of recoil."

I patted her on the back and headed down the maintenance duct.

One of the guy hands a gun to me and says, "Just point and click. Oh, and brace for a little bit of recoil." Like I don't know how to use a gun. I know this gun, I tested it way back when it exploded everytime you used it. I roll my eyes at him. When he pats me on the back, I want to rip his arm off, but realize he was just trying to be helpful. At least we have a plan now... sort of.

(OOC: I'm baaaa-aaack! :D)

Drustan:
They pulled me through the vents while I kicked and struggled. But it was no use. They got me to a white-coat and injected me with something that made my eyes shut and my brain foggy.
I was captured, and now there was no going back.

Eventually I woke up again. I was in all white room with a metal bed and white sheets. Of course.

Why had I tried to be a hero? I could've gotten in with the rest of them, there would've been time! I stood up from where I was on the floor and angrily punched my bed.
It felt good.
I punched it again. And again, and again.

Finally, the white-coats came in and drugged me again. I slumped down, and fell into a dreamless world.

Aaron

Could I have saved Drustan? Maybe? Probably not without getting myself caught in the process. But I still felt like I could have, like I was being a selfish coward for letting him go. The look on his face as they got him played over and over again in my head. I wondered what they were doing to him.

I shook my head and climbed after everyone else.
What a shame,

I didn't notice the girl behind us until she kicked Dr. Glentz in the knees and made him unconscious. The girl had strawberry blond hair and light blue eyes and the fact that she had just kicked a doctor made me like her immediately.
"Wanna get out? I'm Storm."
"Xia." I replied quite amused.
Storm started walking away and after thinking about the whole situation I decided that it would be better to follow her. I quickly knelt down next to Dr. Glentz and searched his pockets for something useful. I ended up with a pen and a notebook. With a satisfied smile on my face, I jumped up and followed the girl.

Drustan:

When I woke up again I was in front of a tall, dark-haired man. His features were very sharp and his nose resembled a beak.

I was chained to the walls in front of him so that if I went limp my arms would hold me up by the shackles on my wrists.

"You tried to escape." He boomed in a deep voice.

"Yes." I croaked, hating how squeaky my voice sounded next to his.

"Where are the others?"

"I don't know."

There was an electric shock from behind me. I jolted as it flew through me and burned my skin where the shocking-bat had touched me.

"Where are they?" He repeated again.

"I don't know."

There was another shock and I jolted again. The pain was horrible and now every time I moved my joints screamed in protest.

"Where are they?" Calm as ever he bent down and looked into my eyes.

"I. Don't. Know."

I spat at his face and then blacked out as I was shocked to unconsciousness for doing so.

*It's getting too annoying to just describe people, so I'm going to go with the thought that they know each other's names by this point.*

Judd Snow:

We came to an intersection in the vents and Leroy looked back at me. "Well Lightning Boy you're the one who knows the vents, where to now?"

Sighing Judd leaned against the walls, the metal felt cool against heated skin. He brushed strands of short dark hair out of his face. "First off Leroy don't call me that. Second I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?" This surprised question came from Aaron and Judd shrugged disguising a wince.

"I mean I don't know." Judd answered him. "Security around those whose DNA is genetically mutated is really tight. I was only able to learn the layout of the vents on the floor above." Clenching his teeth Judd tried to hide his growing pain, no way was he going to be a burden on the others. Not when they had to save Drustan.

Vi groaned and banged her head softly against the wall. "So basically we're lost."

"Not nescessarily. The layout for the respective floors has to be fairly similar. Judd should have at least a rough idea of where we are." As Leroy spoke he eyed Judd speculatively. Suddenly he reached out and yanked up Judd's shirt, revealing a bandage wrapped chest stained red with blood.
