I made this post a while ago, but they are selecting the nominations now at Writers Digest for the top 101 writing sites of 2006 (they publish the results in the May issue). So it's probably a bit late already, but it's better late than never!

If you have not already nominated YWS (do NOT nominate YWS a second time), send an e-mail to writersdig@fwpubs.com with "101 sites" as the subject line. Just explain in 1 to 3 sentences why you think YWS should be nominated. Include the site address as well. Of course, only send the e-mail if you think YWS is one of the best writing sites ;)

After doing some research, I found out they got something like 407 nominations for 234 sites last year. By my tally, 10 YWS users have already sent in nominations, so I bet the site has a good chance of getting it. But, we'll see.

Warning: Writers Digest will add you to their mailing list if you send an e-mail to them. Sometimes it can be interesting, and you can always unsubscribe, but some may just find it annoying.

... done.

Anyways, just found out that we'll know if YWS made it or not come April 25! Maybe even a bit earlier than that (but only by a day or two). Cross your fingers...
