Introducing Pro Accounts

Pro Accounts are a way for you to help provide financial support to the Young Writers Society. However, while you do get the option of turning off advertising as a Pro Account holder, they are primarily a way to recognize donations to the site. As such, there are no exclusive features available to Pro Account holders.

Additionally, all donations are now recognized by way of a Supporter badge that goes directly underneath your avatar.

Note: I am not a Pro Account holder and never will be. As such, the system may have some bugs. If you experience any bugs, please report them asap! Thanks.

Previous Donations
I have double counted all previous donations. So if you donated $10, I've counted that as $20 toward a pro-account. That means anyone who has donated at least $25 in the past automatically has a lifetime pro-account. This was just a way to say thank you for supporting YWS in the past.

Hey Snoink, can you send me a PM with your sister's email address? The donation notifications I get only show the e-mail address, and there were more than a few I couldn't connect to any YWSer. Thanks!

These are the cutest badges ever. I almost have to laugh though. I only donated in the past for a bookmark. Now I guess it worked out pretty nicely in my favor.

Also, question, will the pro account badges remain even after the time span of said badge is up?

The badges are permanent. So even after the pro-account is over, the badge will remain.
