How did you find the Young Writers Society?

Treied to do a creative writing OU(open univeristy) course and was told i was too yound and i was emailed this link

I found out about the YWS when I joined March 28th of 2005 :3

God....SOOOO long ago. Nate dragged me and Duskglimmer kicking and screaming from the Young Writers GUILD way back in December of 2004.

I stumbled on this site a few short months ago while I was desperately trying to find a place to post my work. I was a member of deviantart.com but I couldn't bring myself to post anything on that site. It's mainly directed at visual artists, (paintings, photos, drawings, etc.) So I came here and had a look. Naturally, I tried signing up with my usual username but it turns out, I had already done so. This must have happened years ago because I can't remember doing it. So I slashed the numbers at the end of my username and signed up!

I didn't realize that you two weren't from TYWC. I guess that's what it seemed like because we all came over around the same time.

I came to YWS the first month it opened way back when the background was cork board! Man, I miss that...
But yeah, along with a good number of other people I came from The Young Writer's Club which is pretty much dead now.

Someone on NaNoWriMo--I don't remember who, to be honest, but I'm grateful to whoever they are --posted a link to YWS. I followed it, and signed up the next day.

I think I googled it or something...but now I'm an avid advertiser of the YWS baby! Woohoo! I tell everyone about it and how badly I'm hooked...getting on here multiple times a day if I can...

Random google search. I was super bored one day and plugged in writing forums or something like that, and here I am! Ah, the wonders of Google.

Yes, it was all the fault of that search engine... I was trying to find the guidelines to my school's young authors program and this popped up as a sponsored result. Then Intrigued, I clicked on the link and fell instantly in love with the sword-and-pencil logo. So I'm here now .
