~Daemond~

I sigh, because Katherine's been in her world a lot lately, more than usual. I sigh, glad that archerchery was one of the shortest classes: much to the Apollo kid's distress. I turn to Katherine, deciding in my usual fashion to just skip right to free time. It was only about twenty minutes until it anyway.

"Hey, Katherine. Let's go for a little bit of an early swim."

She shrugs, her eyes darting from the archery court to the lake, longing in them. She might agree with then. I stretch, my muscles longing for a good swim. After a moment she nodds.

"Do you think we can manage it?"

I roll my eyes," Do you not know who your talking to? Of course we can."

She smiles shakingly and I get up, motioning for Katherine to follow me. She follows me trustfully. I feel a stab at my heart. Did Katherine depends on me, doesn't she? Does she? I begin to worry, forgetting about what I was doing. I regain myself a split second later and just walk away from the area effortlessly without anyone giving me a single glance. Katherine jogs after me, her mouth gaping slightly open as she catches up. "What? I'm good." She shakes her head, smiling.

"I'm going to go change into my suit, kay?"

I nodd and walk to my own cabin. Once inside I grab my suit and get outside just in time to see Katherine running toward me, wearing a red bikini (Hope this is ok Written! I thought I'd be interesting.) I'd never seen her in a bikini before, much less one that looked liked it'd come from the Aphrodite cabin. I swear my mouth gaped open a bit but I snaped it shut as soon as she waved to me.

"Are you ready?" She asks.

I nodd, fully toungue-tied. When had? Who? Wha? We walk down to the lake and I tear off the cotton T I'd put over my suit. There wasn't a soul down here, and I couldn't even see the naids.

"Looks like our ditch Ani plan worked," I say, not looking at her," So you wanna go in or should I push you?"

She laughs and dives in and not wanting to look like a loser, I cannonball off the dock, splashing water all over an already soaked Katherine.

"Looks like that whole get dry after sword thing didn't work," I laugh feeling relaxed.

You can put Ani in here if you want fiction!

Katherine

The red bikini wasn't completely uncomfortable but let me tell you: it sure hugged every curve I had.

When I'd come out I had seen the look of surprise an I'm starting to think there was a slight bit of lust in them as well but I wasn't going to go all ape over it.

Diving into the water was a cool bliss, and immediately I felt a surge of strength.

"Apparently my attempt at showin off was pointless." I agree with him before leaning back.

I bent backwards to let my hair float in the water, untangling previous knots, my chest was thrust out and only then did I realize how tight the top of the bikini really was.

I flushed and lowered into the water until it lapped at my neck and smiled at Daemond who'd been staring.

Heat crept into my cheeks and I took a finger and whirled the water upwards. Playing with my power.

"Nice weather we're having.." I immediately realize how stupid I had been for saying that considering it never storms here.

He laughs, at me or with me I'm not sure but I look away in embarassement.
To fly away on gossamer wings, sheer as night's reflective glow, I would could I cradle child hecate to my breast.

T.J

"Do I like it?" She smiles, putting her hand on her chin. "It's virtually hilarious and will no doubt freak out every viewer. The make-up was a nice touch. Did you steal that from the Aphrodite cabin? And the bra?" She shudders, still smiling. "I don't even want to know where or how you got that!"

"Long story." We both laugh before she speaks again.

"I think after seeing that they'll be scarred for life. I'd feel sorry for anyone who saw it. I think we should spare them."

"I hope you did a nice little number on their cabins then." I doubted that we would actually take down the boar, but you never know.

"Trust me, I did." I pause to think about it before I ask.

"Did I prove myself to your prank worthyness?" She thought for a moment before responding.

"More than enough," She gets down on her knees and bows. "You may now choose your reward." A reward? I never knew there would be a reward. Oh well, now or never. I lift her chin and look into her eyes.

"I don't need a reward, just knowing you is already good enough for me." Her cheeks redden slightly and she stands up. She tried to speak, but she appeared speechless. "Wow, I actually did something right." I think to myself, smiling. "Now, lets take an early swim, I don't think I can do archery today." She nods and we head towards our cabins to get our swimsuits.

Ohk, I think i understand SB's now. I'm sorry If i went off topic with my own characters a bit, but, as you can obviously see I'm new. I think im going to delete my last two posts, and make Fergus interact with other characters. Hope its not that big of a problem- Camulus

The cold wind tore through me. I looked around at the hollow shell of what was once the paradise I had shared with my dad, but it' now just a cruel reminder of how much I had depended on the one person I no longer had. I looked around one last time. And then I woke up.

*Yawn* I got up from my lavender bunk in the small Morpheus Cabin. I stretched and then looked around the room at nothing in particular. No notes. No "I want to be your partner" flyers. I had told myself that this would most likely happen, but still I let his hopes rise to high. I walked across the room out to the balcony of the cramped cabin. The fresh ocean breeze ran through my hair. The water was a sparkling blue, the beach a crisp white. Sometimes i forgot how beautiful Earth is.

I saw in the water a girl in a red bikini and a guy who was staring openly at her. Lucky I thought to myself. I had only been here at Camp for a little over a week, and making friends was hard. Chiron had said that eventually i would fit in, but i was finding that harder and harder to believe. I yawned again and made my way into the bathroom.

I checked myself one more time in the mirror. I had scrubbed most of the pimples that clogged up my face down to nubs, and I had practically drank the bottle of mouthwash provided. I smiled into the grimy glass, scrutinizing my face for any sign of anything that might be unflattering. Convinced that i looked almost decent, I stepped outside. The initial glare of the afternoon sun quickly passed as I strolled down past the Cabins. I heard a lot of screams from some of them, and for some reason they Hades' Cabin was covered with whipped cream. Must be some Hermes kids acting up I thought to myself.

My thoughts were interrupted by seeing another pair of campers heading for the lake. I recognized one of them as Spirit Jones, 'cause honestly, who can forget a name like that. For some reason i hear my mom's voice in my head "C'mon Ferg. Making Friends is easy. All you've got to do it reach out and interact with people" I saw my mom in my head; her straight blonde-brown hair, her warm friendly smiles; her beautiful blue eyes. She would've wanted me to do this. I took a deep breath and prepared myself.

"Hey Spirit! Wait up!" I call.

~Spirit Jones~

T.J. lifts my chin gently and looks into my eyes. I meet his handsome caramel brown eyes, not fully sure what was happening.

"I don't need a reward, just knowing you is already good enough for me." he says.

I feel the heat rise to my cheeks as soon as the words leave his mouth. Does this mean that...he likes me? I mean he liked me as friend I knew that much easily, but the way his hand felt on my face was just so nice and had a little more than friend feeling. It was such a sweet thing to say, more than I thought was capable. Thoroughly confused, I stand up. I open my mouth to say something - anything- but no words come out. T.J. smiles, more to himself than me. I put my hand to the spot on my face where his hand had been and felt the warm spot. " "Now, lets take an early swim, I don't think I can do archery today." T.J. says. I child of Apollo not wanting to have a short archery class. Wow, that must mean- what? What did it mean? I nodd, deciding a swim was just what I needed to clear my head. On this incredibly hot day, and I didn't mean just the heat, it would be nice. He heads towards the Apollo cabin and head over toward the Hermes. Once inside I rummage through my bathing suits, deciding on a pretty green two piece and slip into it. I pull my long hair into a ponytail even though I know I'll loose it five minutes into the swim. Checking the big flashy clock in the corner of the room I realized we had already missed most of archery anyway. Well, time flies when your pranking. I grab a towel and run out to meet T.J. He was already there outside my door, waiting.

"Ready?"

I nodd, still not fully trusting my mouth to say what it needed. We walk toward the glittering lake, the warm sun at our backs and I smile. Today was just one of those incredibly perfect days. What did I have to be confused about? I spot two figures off floating in the lake, but they were pretty far out. We reach the lake and I plop my towel on the sandy beach and wade into the water, motioning to T.J. The cool water feels good on my skin and I'm contenplating diving in when I feel the cool drops off water shower all over me. I turn around, coming face to face with T.J.

" Not cool." I say, brushing the wet hair from my face. "Or fair."

He grins and I swear my heart misses a few beats. "This from the girl who spent her morning pranking cabins. Not fair to them, if you ask me."

He had a good point, darn him. " I didn't ask." I say playfully.

I kind of wish I was one of those Posiedon girls who could get him back now by splashing him with a wave. Since I was a Hermes, girl however, I could settle for something better. Winking at him, I dive into the water and swim around him, coming up just behind him. I spray him with water before he even notices I moved. Sadly, my splash barely reached his head, while his had soaked me. He turns to me, shaking his head.

"Thought you said we were playing fair?"

"Then you are greatly mistaken my friend." I tease.

Suddenly, I hear a call from behind us. I turn to see that Morpheus kid, Fergus something or other. I felt kinda made for him not having any friends but something deep inside me wasn't happy about him interuppting T.J. and I. Fergus approaches us, looking rumpled, like he had just got up from bed. He probaly had, being a son of Morpheus.

"Hi Fergus."

I notice that he wasn't wearing a bathing suit and wonder why.

"Hey. I've been calling you for a while now." he says, his eyes wielding sorrow.

"Oh, sorry."

I honestly felt bad for him, I really truly did. However, for once in my life I didn't know what to say. All three of us stand in an awkward silence when I hear the bell ring, singnaling the beginning of free time. I realize that although Fergus knew me, he probaly didn't recognize T.J. "Fergus, this is-" I look at T.J, realizing I didn't know his first name.

"I'm Taylor Jones, son of Apollo. Please, call me T.J." T.J. fills in for me.

Fergus nodds absentmindedly and says," Do you guys know where we are supposed to be?"

" It's just the beginning of free time," I say with a smile," We can do what we'd like."

"Ok, thanks."

Fergus looks around awkwardly and I feel another stab of pity. Suddenly, I see a small framed figure walking toward us, with her happy strut on.

"Hi Aura."

Aura smiles at me and breaks into dainty jog, reaching us in a matter of seconds.

"Hey Spirit," her eyes catch on T.J. and she looks at me with interest. "T.J." She looks over at Fergus and smiles. "Hi. Who are you?"

"I'm Fergus."

Suddenly, an idea sparks in my mind. I truly did want to help Fergus, but the water on my skin and T.J.'s smiles felt way to good. I battle the thought out in my mind and decide that Aura needs to step out a little to and hey- water and water equal an ocean of oppurtunity!

"Hey Aura maybe you could...show Fergus around a little? If you want to be shown around, that is."

Aura shrugs and I wait for Fergus' reply.

Will post for Daemond and maybe Aura later!

I could tell it wasn't going well. T.J, Spirit and I stood (well they were swimming) in an awkward silence. Of course it was free time I thought to myself. Why would they be in swimming otherwise?. I wished I could disappear right then and there. This was a stupid idea; why would I ever put my self in this position?

"Ok, thanks" I reply to Spirit. Her eyes practically scream pity at me. I was about to open my mouth to say I would go when Spirit spoke again.

"Hi Aura" she said. I turned to where Spirit was talking, where a small girl was jogging. A few seconds later she reached the lake's beach, walking happily.

"Hey Spirit" Aura says. Her voice reminds me of a fairy, and I wonder who her godly parent is. She smiles wide, and then turns to Taylor. "T.J" She shares a meaningful glance with Spirit, and I, being the unsocial person I am, had no idea why. I feel the awkwardness return before Aura turns to me. "Hi. Who are you?"

I think for a second about what to say. Before simply replying "I'm Fergus". My voice sounds monotone, like a robot was saying it.

Suddenly I see the spark of an idea in Spirit's eyes.

"Hey Aura maybe you could....show Fergus around a little? If you want to be shown around, that is"

Aura shrugged and I felt the group's attention center on me. I wanted to say no. I wanted to go away and curl up in my bed and escape from everyone. That wasn't an option. I knew this was a rare opportunity to come out of my shell. My mom would want me to do this. So I shrugged and said "Sure".

Spirit smiled and I could tell she was glad I said yes. Whether it was because I was coming out of my shell or she could get some alone time with T.J I didn't know. Aura looked happy as well. She smiled warmly at me and said. "Cool. I think we'll start at the arena; there's always something interesting going on there" I smile. Maybe this wasn't going to be to bad. "Bye guys, see you at the campfire!" Aura said to T.J and Spirit. I wave my hand and give a weak smile. Spirit waves back and T.J said goodbye.

Aura curled her toes in the sand one last time before spinning around on her tippy toes and skipping daintily she began up the path to the Coliseum. With one last glance at T.J and Spirit I follow her.
Im sorry if I only advanced the story a tiny bit, I just have no clue what Fergus is gonna do with Aura. Curse You dreaded Writer's block!

Your doing fine Cam!

Aura

So Spirit had a crush and T.J. had a crush on her. Or maybe I could be reading them both wrong but, being the daughter of the Godess of Love, I'd HOPE I knew what I was talking about.

"Hey Aura maybe you could....show Fergus around a little? If you want to be shown around, that is" Spirit volunteers.

I shrug. It would be nice to show someone around, being that I had nothing else to do. Anyway, this Fergus boy didn't look like one who would judge me for anything and if my conversation with Raine taught me anything, it was that I judge people on judging me to quickly. I turn my eyes to Fergus who shifts under the weight of all our expectations. I could relate.

"Sure." He shrugs.

Spirit smiles. I think it over in my brain and think of the best place to take a newbe. "Cool. I think we'll start at the arena; there's always something interesting going on there" I chirp. I see Fergus smile. "Bye guys, see you at the campfire!" I say.

Fergus gives T.J. and Spirit weak waves and Spirit waves back happily while T.J. says goodbye. I see Spirit turn to T.J. and say something about "Where were we?" I begin skipping toward the Coliseum, not fully waiting for Fergus. When we reach the coliseum I stop. There were a few Ares kids hitting each other but not much else. I feel some dissapointment, but shake it off.

"This is the coliseum. Where we have battles and such. There's even a class for it, although that's already passed. Those are some Ares kids over there. They fight 24/7. Anyway, I'll show you the Campfire."

He nodds, picking at his shirt. We walk together this time.

"Do you mind me asking who your parent is?"

I freeze. I know being Aphrodite's daughter isn't a matter to be ashamed of, but sometimes, I feel like a laughing stock because of it. However, I raise my head high. If being the daughter of the goddesss of love was an issue, than this world had a lot of haters.

"I'm the daughter of Aphrodite. You?"

"Son of Morpheus."

There's another swift silence. I bite my lip, wishing I had the social skills of most of Aphrodite's children. We move toward the campfire slowly and I see a small figure tending the flames.

"That's the Campfire pit. It's where we end our days." I turn to Fergus," Anyway, how long have you been here for?"
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Ah, written. Daemond's a bit insane to, no?

~Daemond~

"Nice weather we're having..." Katherine says, trying to break the awkward silence.

I burst out laughing. I couldn't help it. It was my common response whenever someone said that. It always followed an incredibly awkward silence, usually created by one of my mom's boyfriends trying to "bond" with me. It was so programmed into me that it just came out.

"Sorry." I mutter."It just...came out."

More awkward silence. I look down into the water and realize I can still see Katherine's binkini through the the clear ocean. Wearing it she looked almost...hot. I never thought I'd use that word to describe anyone, much less Katherine. Yet through the water she looked like one of those ocean naids, free and beautiful. Then I realized the same thing that I first realized when I first saw a Naid. I wanted to kiss her. I swear my brain just about exploded with the thought. Yet it was undeniabley true. I breath in a deep sigh and touch Katherine's face, now turned from me, guiding her back to my face. I didn't know what I was doing at all, but this didn't have the same feel as my improv. I was acting on feelings again and getting dangereously close to the border. Her eyes meet mine, those beutiful eyes. I feel myself brushing back a strand of hair from her face, tracing her face with my finger. Then my eyes really focous and I see her face -and the look of shock on it- my hand stiffens and drops, all notion of whatever I had been going to do lost. "Sorry." I mutter.

Katherine's face is flushed the same scarlett as her...her bikini. I mentally smack myself for being such an idiot. Your best friend puts on a bikini and you try and try and- do whatever I was doing. I was such an idiot... Anyway, I liked Alex. Didn't I? All of a sudden, I wasn't so sure.

Ah, yes fiction I'm sure Ani may be appreciated.
