School got VERY busy in the last few days and I don't think I can post until this weekend, maybe next week. I'm sorry if anyone's waiting for me to post or anything.
Devnee Grey I handed over the sketchpad over to Bella hoping that she would like it. She looked at it and then she smiled and looked up. "This is amazing! I didn't know you could draw this well!" She exclaimed and I smiled. "Thank you." I said taking it back. "Can I keep it?" She asked taking me by surprise. I bit my lip thinking about it. "It's not quite finished I still need to add some color to the background but once I'm done you can have it." I replied and she smiled happily. I smiled back and pulled out my colored pencils and finished the background. I took the page out and handed it to her. "Bella I was actually thinking of giving everyone the pictures I made for them do you think I should?" I asked looking at her. She thought for a moment and then nodded. "I definetly think you should." She replied firmly.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
"Now how about those strawberries?" Katherine suggest, licking her lips.
I laugh, pulling the strawberry plants slowly toward me.
"I don't know. Grapes are my specialty."
She doesn't reply, although she's looking right at me, her eyes slightly twinkly. I wave my hand in front of her face. "Hello? Katherine? Anyone home?"
She blinks her eyes quickly and her cheeks flush. "Huh? Oh yeah, Strawberries."
I shrug it off, although the back of my mind is setting off fire alarms. The plant reaches me and I pull off a small one, feeling around the branch with my fingers. I set the red strawberry in front of me and with a touch of improv, I kneel to the ground with a flourish.
"Your strawberry m'lady."
Her cheeks reddened even farther as she takes the strawberry from my hand. I pluck another strawberry for myself and toss it into my mouth, debating what my next move should be. Life was much like a battle you know. Every move could be strategic or just a flourish anything, honestly. Suddenly, I knew what was missing. Katherine would probaly kill me for doing it, but hey, this was the world of great improv. I take her red stained hand and bring in to my mouth kissing in gently, like an old gentlemen. I stand up, keeping her hand it mine. "I hope the strawberries were to your liking." I drop her hand, expecting her to yell at me, punch me, or ,likely, shove me playfully. Instead she stands there, her mouth slightly hanging open. Dang. It meant I did the wrong thing, yet again. "Look sorry...it was just improv. You know. It seemed...accurate." For one of the first times in my life I was speechless. I guess I should have done that. I just hope Katherine will forgive me for ... for what? I wasn't even sure now.
Suddenly Katherine springs to life, a tiny smile on her rosy cheeks," It's...ok."
We stand in an awkward silence, not sure what to do. I hear the voice of Chiron, urging us toward Archery. Without speaking, Katherine and I edge toward the Archery arena. Then I remember chiron's earlier announcement, over last nights campfire.
"Who are you planning to do the chariot races with?"
Please don't go super in depth with the next couple things since there not really important! Please start pairing for Chariot races!
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
Well, we were definitely going to do this, but where? I thought to myself, Spirit answered that. "Well, we can't do Ares 'cause Nick already hit them today and no Aphrodite because their WAY to easy. I guess we could always hit the Apollo-" She quickly looks over like she did something wrong, when she was really just thinking too hard, like me when she sliced my arm. "Sorry, I wasn't thinking."
"It's cool."
She nods, accepting my apology. "Hm... Poseidon or Dionysus...wait no, Mr.D's been in a bad mood lately and we don't want to get on his bad side. Poseidon is one of the most populated cabin to... I say Poseidon unless you have a better idea."
"That sounds good." I look back and forth looking for someone to be watching or listening. She laughs watching me. It was a beautiful laugh, maybe the best I've ever heard.
"So let me hit Hermes cabin first to gather some supplies." I pause, guessing he might have a little stuff as well," Do you have anything you want?" I look at her, she had everything ready, like she had this planned. She laughs and I set off at a sprint, I was going to beat her. I get to the cabin and lift my mattress. I grab the whole bag and I'm out the door. I outside the door right as she's coming out. I smile, ready to go. She smiles back and we're about to set off when she asks, "Are you ready?"
"I was BORN ready."
"Right." She smiles and we head off. "So anyway, what do have planned?"
"Well actually, I couldn't decide on one so just put a lot of pranks out there." She nods and we head in. I quickly head into the bathroom, it was easy to prank in there. I reach in my bag and grab the first item I see. Beef broth cubes. When in water, these dissolve into beef broth. I quickly unscrew the shower head and slip it in. I screw it back into place and move on. The next prank I quickly think of. This was a good one I saw on TV when I was young. I take a wrench out of my bad and unscrew the handle slightly to the cold water and hot water spouts to the sink. So when someone turns on the sink they get sprayed. I don't know why, but my best pranks had to do with water. I grab a bucket from under the sink and quickly fill it with water. In possibly the most clique'd prank ever, I open the door slightly and put the bucket on top. So when you opened the door you could expect a wet surprise. I step back, examining my work. Spirit is then done but I didn't have time to see what she did, I would ask later. Now we had to get out. "I kind of trapped us in, so we have to take the window out." She laughs and I open the window I go out followed by her. We get on the ground before I decide to ask,"So, partners for the big chariot race?"
"Is this the real life, or is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality."
I loosten the screws on the bottom bunks of all three beds, smiling as took out Nick's wet ink. The label read Invisi ink- invisible when dry, dark blue when wet! Perfect. I open the drawer, inking it over some of their suits and other cloths. Just as I'm about to hit their pillows T.J. finishes with the bath a I pretend that I'm done to 'cause honestly, how bad to we want to get? I squeeze out of the window, wondering what in the world T.J. had done with the door, preventing us to use it. I'd seen him mess with the bathroom- wouldn't the Posiedon girls be mad when they couldn't dry themselves using their powers?- but never saw what he pulled on the door. Whatever it was, it was gonna be great.
"Partners for the big chariot race?" T.J. asks.
Partners for the big race? I hadn't thought about the Chariot's yet but with T.J. by my side...I could just imagine the effects.
" Of course. We're gonna prank 'em dead."
He chuckles and I give him a playful shove, not fully believing that we had met just this morning. Suddenly, my eyes are laid on the dark shadow of the Hades cabin.
"Spirit?" T.J. follows my gaze, watching as I squint at the Hades cabin. "Oh. We have time to hit Hades if you want. " he shrugs, a rougish smile on his face, " I've got some good stuff for that."
So did I actually. Did I really want to prank Hades cabin? Should I just head to archery with T.J, discussing our plans for the chariot race? I feel my fist tighten at my sides. Hades was the cause for the only bad thing to happen in my fifeteen years of life and if he can't pay, why can't his children? I pull out my jar of glow-in-the dark silly string, the worlds best and simplest pranking tool.
" This is going to be a real challenge. So, yeah."
T.J. smiles at me and we head into the dark cabin.
You asked for in Scarlett! Anyway, sorry so short i got to go to bed!
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
You idiot! my mind screamed at me, why had I stood there like an idiot without bothering to utter a word. I didn't care if it had been improv it had been the closest I've gotten to a guy ever portraying interest but then again it was improv. He hadn't meant a word he'd said.
I clutched my throat for a moment until I heard his question.
"Well, I was honestly thinking Athena or the Hepheastus cabin considering their brains and tinkering but if you'd like I'd be happy to join up with you." I mentally smacked myself, I was sounding way to desperate.
I fidgeted, as he flashed me a cocky smile.
"Give it up, you were thinking of gOing with the Dionysis cabin long before since we have awesome butt-kicking moves." he boasted.
I gave him that, but shook my head as I realized I was becoming closed off.
"No." I tell him but that's all I say, I'm wrapped up in my own thoughts now.
My world inside my mind is bleak and forever on the move.
A hand near my face makes me step back and stumbled over something that I didn't see. I land on my back and hiss in my breath as my tailbone smacks the hard packed earth.
"Oh Gods, Katherine!" I see Daemond step quickly over, offering his hand but I frown.
"I'm fine." one thing he should know about me; I hated being weak.
Brown hair fell into my eyes, my hair was a lost cause and my skninned palms would be easily healed.
"So, did you want to be my partner?" I ask before a switch of my former self flicked on.
I'm beginning to think that Antoine's damned foul with the lightning had had quite the effect on me.
I mean lightning and water don't mix right? I'm pretty sure, though, that water and plants work better.
To fly away on gossamer wings, sheer as night's reflective glow, I would could I cradle child hecate to my breast.
"Of course. We're gonna prank 'em dead." I laugh and she shoves me playfully. Suddenly, Spirit's fists are clenched and her happiness is gone.
"Spirit?" I look where she is and all I see is the Ares cabin. "Oh. We have time to hit Hades if you want." I shrug and smile, not yet knowing why she was so tense. "I've got some good stuff for that." I search through my bag and see what I need, if we go. She pulls out her can of silly string and responds.
"This is going to be a real challenge. So, yeah." I smile as we head in. The room was kind of ominous with the lights off so I flick them on. The room illuminates and I get a good look at Spirit. Her hands are fists again and she looks scared. Her, scared. I didn't believe it. I set my bag down and head over. I grab her hand and squeeze gently.
"It's going to be okay, I won't let anything happen." Her hand slowly loosens out of a fist and I release her hand. "If you need anything I'll be outside, messing around with the boar." I smile and head out. I rummage around in my back until I find what I need first. Lipstick. I take it out and slowly put it on the boar. I put that back and move on. I grab my next items; mascara and purple eye shadow. I apply those and get all the other make up I have. When I'm done with the makeup the boar looks like a ver hairy women. But I'm not done yet. I reach in and take out a bow. I put it on the boar right above one of the eyes. And for the final touch I grab a bra I stole from the Aphrodite cabin and slip it on. I examine my work and grin. Spirit walks out and laughs at what I did. Her happy was back and I liked it. So I asked her. "So, do you like it?"
"Is this the real life, or is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality."
Parents: Morpheus and mortal mother, Amy McEagle . Step-father Andrew Seftenberg
Appearance: Fergus is short, only about 5’ in height. He's slightly chubby, well who wouldn't be with a main occupation of day-dreaming? He's cursed with long, chestnut hair which seems to change style every night and large violet-blue eyes. He's extremely pale after months underground and always seems slightly out-of it. He also has a scar on his forehead that almost cuts into his eyes from when he got lost in a nightmare (though he keeps it to himself) . His clothes often look rumpled and sleeped-in (which they are) . He only has a twisted gold bracelet with a large amethyst in the center he received from his father which glows whenever he uses his powers. http://www.corbisimages.com/images/67/5 ... 750104.jpg
Personalities: Fergus was never the most social person. He tends to keep to himself, though shows enormous heart and courage when he comes out of his shell. He trusts warily, and is used to being disappointed by others. He normally conveys his true feelings to others in a very vague way, but if he learns to trust you and open to up to you he will be the most loyal friend you could ask for. His powers usually act up uncontrollably when he feels betrayed, so it is dangerous to cross him; a lesson the bullies at his old school learned the hard way.
Other Personalities: Fergus spends most of his time either writing in his ever-present journal or day-dreaming. He has created through words and dreams a small world of his own that he only reveals to those who have earned his complete and total friendship. He also enjoys drawing, though he is not the most talented. He often is quirky in conversations, sometimes venturing out to provide input that he expects to be shut down; though it often turns out to be extremely valuable to the group.
Brief history: Fergus has always known of his father, and he is the only person he trusts completely. When he's asleep he and his father live in the world of his creation; though lately his father has been showing up only briefly and leaving cryptic messages; causing the world to fall into a desolate winter. He doesn't have much friends; the only attention he got at his school was a pair of bullies who flushed his journal down the toilet and often shoved him into lockers or tripped him up. After an incident involving a horde of spiders "magically" appearing over one of the bullies heads after he took Fergus' bracelet he was temporarily suspended from school, which enrages his step-father; who already is disappointed in Fergus' lack of activities. His mother fails to console Fergus, and so he runs away. Without the stench of mortal around him he is quickly cornered by a Hydra which causes his father to whisk him down to the underworld for safety where Fergus remained in a deep slumber. He was finally taken to Camp Half-Blood by his his Uncle Ikelos, who informed him that his father was keeping a low-profile after siding with the Titans, and that he probably wouldn't see him for a while; to Fergus' great dismay.
Up for love: Maybe. The process for him to achieve that comfort with anyone is a long one.
Other: Powers; Put others to sleep and enter their dreams and change them, Lucid dreamer, he can also temporarily summon Dreams into reality, though it exhausts him and causes him to ignite with a purple flame that doesn't really affect much. The bracelet was a gift from his father so that Fergus could be protected from nightmares after an incident as a baby

"So," Katherine asks, brushing hair from her face," Do you want to be partners?"
"Sure."
I shrugged off the warm and fuzzy feeling growing in my stomach. Sure it was nice to be wanted. As my old phyciatrist would say ' It is stimultating to a child's BRAIn to be loved.' Whatever. He was such a weirdo anyway. Nobody had ever had enough time for me anyway. I was just passive boy and nobody had ever loved me , not even here where I saw my own dad everyday, and nobody ever would. Katherine's happy humming to a song that I didn't know brought me back from my own morbid thoughts.
"Great! Do you have any plans?"
I watch distractidly as Alex shoots at the target, again and again, hitting each time. Her sandy blond hair shimmers in the breeze. Katherine coughs.
"Daemond?"
"Hm... yes?"
"Plans for the chariot?"
"Oh I-" I hadn't really thought about it. Dioynsus kids usually get lame chariots, mainly because we pair up with each other. NOT and I repeat NoT a good combo. My brain storms at a thousand miles it usual pace." Only one." I lean down to whisper in her ear, her frizzy hair tickling my mouth. " Use your water powers and my plant powers. No one's thought of that yet. All we need is a little pouch of water and a small plant and we've got all the weapons we need." I tear back. "So what do you think? Your ideas?"
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
Hmm... Camulaus. It's always nice to interact with other charecters. I even have a bring in one that you can use (Aura) and many other charecters still need partners. So, I'll let it go now it's ok. Now, go to the DT (link on first page and guess a number 1-30 to decide which chariot wins!

I take deep breathes as we enter the Hades cabin. T.J. had just left to mess with the boar and I was thankful for it, for him. This was one prank I needed to pull alone. I grab the silly string, spraying it all over the insides of a pillow. Then, I walk into the bathroom, T.J. had greatly inspired me with all his bathroom pranks. Yet when I get inside the room I gasp as I see the lotion and lipgloss, arranged simply on the counter. The room wasn't as dark as I thought it would be. Instead, it was a pretty blue. My eyes caught on a lilypad painting. She'd always loved lily pad's. I feel soft tears sting at my eyes. I was doing this for all the wrong reasons. I was blaming Hades' and his children for the death of my sister. I shouldn't be pranking this cabin because of clouded judgement. I should be pranking in because that's what I do, and that's what my sister loved to watch me do. I hear T.J. outside, and a small, reluctant smile pulls at my mouth. I wipe the few tears I have away and grab a can of shaving cream and hook it to the top of the room, empty it slightly and poor some frizzy soda and a sugar tablet in it's place. I climb on to the bunk bed's and hook the can to the wall. Nick had taught me this trick back when I was a newbe. It would rush around the room, spraying shaving cream on everything. It was literaly three pranks in one. I smile, glad my happy was fully recovered. I exit the room. Peering over at T.J.'s boar. He'd dreesed it up to look like a giant, very bad looking woman. I can't help it, I laugh.
"So, do you like it?" T.J. asks.
"Do I like it?" I put my hand on my chin like a reviewer," It's virtually hilarious and will no doubt freak out every viewer. The make-up was a nice touch. Did you steal that from the Aphrodite cabin? And the bra?" I shudder, a bit over reacting," I don't even want to know where or how you got that!"
He wiggles his eyebrows,"Long story."
I laugh, I can't help it. Life just feels good right now and I feel like I've almost - but not quiete, never quiete- forgiven Hades for my sister's death.
"I think after seeing that they'll be scarred for life. I'd feel sorry for anyone who saw it. I think we should spare them."
" I hope you did a nice little number on their cabins then."
"Trust me, I did."
T.J. pauses, then asks," Did I prove myself to your prank worthyness?"
Had he proven himself to me? Well, that wasn't hard. Besides proving that he could do quiete a number on a boar, steal stuff -I guess it isn't just a Hermes kid trait-, and even comforting me about my sister's death without even knowing about it he amounted pretty high on my scale. My cheeks warm as I remember T.J. taking my hand to calm me down.
"More than enough," I assure him, thinking. I bow my head and get down on my knees. " You may now choose your reward."
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
