I don't think that anyone's seen me angry- with the possible exception of Adelais, but he's...you know, Adelais. He knows when it's all right to only half-listen (that is, not pay attention or take anything personally that happens to spill from your mouth).

Mademoiselle Jarmon listens, as well- but there are some things I just can't tell her that I can tell Adelais, for I think Adelais has heard more of my moody, impassioned stories than Master Blackwell's read from his textbook.
-Upton

*smirks* Oh, he doesn't do all that much talking with the crazy French boy...but ah, me. I do lose my temper quite a bit, but I've usually got Liberty- my Adelais.

...my Adelais? Oh, now I have certainly got to go wash my mouth out with soap.
-Luke

(from Green)- The Doctor gave me a glass vase he claimed to be unbreakable for my fifth birthday- something I could throw at the wall and hear that beautiful splintering noise without having to clean up the pieces. - Andromeda

[Hehehe...the Crazy French Boy- I must write that down. Immediately. :P]

What happens to you (mentally?) when you are separated from something/someone you love?

I still live my life, I still listen to people, I still contribute, but at night, when everything slows down and there's nothing but the night sky to whisper to, I wonder how I can fix this.

What do you see in the stars?

Sadie thought about this, her eyes drifting towards the sky. It was starting to get dark and the sky was now black, spotted with twinkling stars. And then she smiled and laughed, reaching for the freak’s hand.

“Beth, look up there. Do you see all those little dots? They are lovers, dancing around the sky. They loved each other so much that, even when they died, they hung on to each other tightly, their souls burning so brightly with love that they floated up into the sky. And now they will be forever dancing, their love holding them together in the same place for eternity.”

“That sure sounds pretty,” the freak murmured, her eyes on the horizon where the treetops met the sky. Sadie only laughed and squeezed her hand tightly.

“But don’t you see?” she whispered. “He’ll never be gone from you. Not really. The song and dance will just change, that’s all.”

The freak smiled. “I always liked music.”

And both their faces turned to the sky.

World anarchy and innocent death and my pathetic life.

Well it would if I cried, right? Ha. Cry for joy?
-Tov

I've forgotten how to cry, I think...because I haven't since - for years. I guess injustice - not joy. Cry for joy? Angry...and reasoning things - don't have time, and no worth in sobbing about them. -Piers

Have you ever had to tell a child a story/sing to them until they trusted you or calmed?

Right. Let's say we start to produce square, bronze coins and distribute them throughout the nation. End of story.

Doesn't do much for you, does it? No, I think there's a reason your arse can't feel much of anything.
