Blessed be everyone!

It's been a long, long while since I've posted anything. I've been busy with college stuff, but here are more pics I took during the summer. I'm still a beginer sadly, I haven't taken any more photography classes so far. So this is just me messing around with my friends, trying to kill boredom. This time I tried my hand more on portrait pictures, though I still took plenty of nature. Here are a few, hope you like.

There is no way on this greeny, bluey earth are you a beginer. The first four are so professional looking, my friend is a good photographer (and she'll hate me for saying this) I think that these are as good as a lot of hers. The first picture is my favourite with the traffic, also the pictures of your friends are amazing. No offence or anything but I find the second quite amusing. The black and white pictures are my favourites out of this lot. A word of advise however, post the next lot of pictures on another post so that they don't get lost in the reviews. Other than that keep at it.

These pics are awesome!! What I love about professional photography is that you can take a picture of ANYTHING and it'll look great! I'm going to college next year and I'm planning to take a photography class!! :)

Hi there Alex.

These are great photos! I'll review each one of them for you! I'm going to review your 2nd batch of photos, and WOW, you really improved on your photography, do you self-learn?

1 - This is a great photo! I love the angle that you chose. The contrast of harmony between the girl's clothes and hat and the lush green surroundings makes means that the main subject (which is the girl) is pointed out in a great way, you did a good job trying to highlight the girl. The detail and focus of this work is great. The only problem I have with this one is It does follow a bit of the principles of proportion, the way you made her not be in the center, but I hope the rule of thirds would be followed more.

2 - This is AWESOME! I love the golden ratio of this photo, the law of thirds is well placed. the harmony between the background and the two people is brilliant! I love the setting you chose, the angle is well placed and the small vignette on the sides of the photo makes this look very professional (isn't it already?). Anyway! This is my most favourite photo from your works. This is nicely detailed too.

3 - This is a great photo, black and white is a really interesting theme, great pick. The lighting that you chose is excellent, I love the shadows, and the way you used black and white to complement the lighting is amazing. Although, the focus should be closer, but I guess you wanted the sweat on his skin to be the main subject, right? This is a nice photo.

4 - Like the third photo, this has great lighting, the horizontal flare from the light looked great with the blur. The depth of field from this one is excellent. The detail on the cracks seem to be good, is this your main subject? Because the girl lying down in the background seems to be a better subject than the cracks. The cracks don't seem so detailed though. But still! Great photo.

5 - This looks good, but the main subject, which are the flowers seem to be very cliche this days. You should try to get a more interesting subject, although this does seem to be cliche, it's very colorful and it strikes one emotion - happiness. You did good making the colors come to life. I like the angle you chose and the blur in the background is well-placed.

6 - The close up on the little stems and leaves of the plants are incredible. I know this isn't your main subjects, the people having fun behind them are the main subject, you did a brilliant work making them the main subject without using the focus of the camera. The soft colors of this is really nice, and the silhouette of the main subjects give a really good contrasting harmony with the blue sky. Excellent work.

These are great works! I expect to see more of your works, have a good day! By the way, your skills improved significantly on your second batch of photos.
