Hello there, random strangers!

I'm a 16-year-old aspiring writer trying to write my own novel while also handling the crazy assessments my teachers keep giving me. I started out as a reader, actually. I read a lot of books, and when I got into junior high school, I started getting the urge to write my own stories. I've still got a lot to learn, though, but that's why I'm here -- to learn from the experts! That and I'm also going to be leeching for ideas. Just kidding ... mostly.

I don't hope to get to know all of you better, since I won't be able to know all of you, but I do hope to get to know some of you better! Let's not be random strangers, eh?

Welcome to young writer's, I'm Tanya. This site can seem a bit daunting at first but we're all here to help you out whenever you need it. We're a friendly bunch. Mostly

The surest way to get around quickly is to visit the forums, get a few reviews under your belt, see how the reviews go, and post your own work. Then you can ask the people who you reviewed for to review for you. Simple, isn't it?

I enjoy writing and reading all kinds of fictional pieces or novels, so long as it's written well and I find it interesting!

Oh, and thanks! Yeah, the site does look pretty big. It'll take some time to get used to the place. I just wish I had found this place sooner ... it would've helped me so much with my own writing.

I think it's awesome that you started writing through reading. What kinds of stories do you write? Like, what genre would you say it would be?
